Global Safety Rating Survey

Postby Seaxeland » Tue May 20, 2014 6:53 am

The Saxon Department of Defense has recently decided to compile a list of safest nations in the most fair and unbiased manner possible, to decide on which nations are subjected to the most and least crime, corruption, and political instability by compiling them into different classifications. Below is the aforementioned classifications of which are divided into several, smaller lists for convenience.

Heaven on Earth
.

In these nations, crime is almost nonexistent. Corruption is almost unheard of. The very idea of political instability is seen as a myth. People can walk the streets without worrying about some thug coming out the alley they walk by, roughing them up, and stealing their lunch money. The police are naturally a well-respected institution, and the law is taken very seriously.

Safe Havens

These nations are a sign of progress against the criminal plague which threatens world peace, they proudly proclaim that their crime rates are lowest they've ever had and will continue to drop even lower. Their courts churn out true, fair, and honest convictions, appropriate for those who have committed their crime. Corruption is the story of the century should it ever occur, and any ideas of dissent are quickly washed away by the prosperity being seen in this nation.

Borderline

These states are beset by dangerous, foreign-funded rebellions or large, influential international organized crime syndicates to the point that trials are often beset by fraud, and the guilty often get away with it. The police, suffering from budget cuts, are struggling to keep up with the rising crime rates, as insurrectionists occasionally capture small, outlying villages in the nation's rural areas.

Corrupt States

Corruption is so common, it doesn't even make the news. Most of the nations' politicians submit to some kind of criminal organization or another, and regularly take bribes to veto important legislation. The police and military are on the take, and citizens regularly emigrate to get away from all this, as police brutality has increased due to the lack of necessary equipment to perform in the modern field. People don't even put up missing persons posters anymore, since they're never seen again.

Anarchy and Danger

These are nations we do not feel are safe or trustworthy by our standards. We cannot in good conscience recommend travel to them, and caution interaction with them.
