Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

But as I read on TV Tropes, the mythology they've built is quite interesting.

ME isn't a fps, though. It's third-person, which is historically quite a different kettle of fish.
And yeah, the mythos is interesting, but they've never done much with it and 95% of the fanbase could give a shit, sadly.

Which is a shame.
I'm reading about the Precursors, and holy shit, that is awesome.
From TV Tropes
"The Timeless One was imprisoned for millions of years. Cryptum states that Precursor artifacts can be so old that tectonic shifts on planets unearth them after millions of years. Precursors themselves are possibly older than the universe itself."
That's badass stuff.

Eh, the first one amused me.
Though the best part was without a doubt fan-made content. You could even fight in Hyrule, with swords and shit.

They even added horses and warps. It was amazing, really, for a fan-made map for a shitty game released a while ago.
Also, apparently, there's an anime.Constaniana wrote:The only melee weapon I'll ever need in Halo is the Gravity Hammer, the most beautiful and mighty of all weapons.
Pffft. Suck my Biggoron Sword, Mormon.

My Gravity Hammer breaks your Biggoron sword, and you, and everything else.

I read this as "You're telling fucking scary stories, huh?"
Which is a much different interpretation of the character than Khan intended.

Has some season one spoilers, so be warned.
