King Vittorio III and Prime Minister Paolo was in their office finishing their paperwork "so, there will be two meetings we will attend, eh?" Prime Minister Paolo said, moving a stack of paper to the drawers of his desk. "Yes. I was thinking, maybe I should go to the conference in Columbia while you stay here for our meeting" the king said, arranging the contents of his desk. "Alright, I suppose we can do that" Paolo said, finally done with his paperwork. And then suddenly there was a knock on the door "come in" both of them shouted. "Sir, we have received a telegram from the European Federation" the man said, holding up a piece of paper. "Give me that" The Prime minister said. The man then handed the paper and left the room. "Hm, another meeting. Well this is getting hilarious" the prime minister said with a smirk. "Indeed, call in the minister of relations" the king said.

A few minutes later, minister Alberto walked in to the room "what is it, your excellencies?" He asked as he opened the door. "We three will be attending meetings. I will be attending our meeting, here in Rome, while the king will be in Columbia. And finally you will attend the meeting in Paris" the prime minister said. "Alright, whatever you say Paolo" Minister Albert said.
The next day The King and the minister left for their respective meetings.

The Empire of Spain

Madrid, Spain
Royal Palace of Madrid

The First Day of the Madrid Conference yielded in many things.

The United Axis Nations was formed, with the initial signatories being Siam, Spain, and Germany.
Columbia signed onto a Co-Belligerent Pact against America
And, very significantly, Prussia was guaranteed independence by the Fuhrer himself.

The Empress Septima wanted to celebrate the ending ceremonies with a large military parade and carnival, they would surely appease the local populace into even greater heights of patriotism. Especially with two Emperors, a Kaiser, and the Fuhrer present. They would make a grand speech, introducing their new alliance to the world, at the Royal Balcony. Only a week left until the Conference was over, and more royalty poured in from Russia and Brasil. Qing and Siamese Emperors were rumored to be arriving soon.

Konigsberg, Kingdom of Prussia
Konigsberg Castle

As Wilhelm Hohenzollern, Grandson of Wilhelm II of Germany, walked down the isle in his new throne room, he felt a sense of pride and nationalism. Prussia was again in Hohenzollern hands. Now at his coronation ceremony, the King of Prussia was ready for his crown and power. Attending the ceremony was his PM, Goering. Wilhelm did like Goering, but had to deal with it... for now. As his crown was placed on his head, Wilhelm felt the jolt of power running through him. Now he had almost absolute power in Prussia. His power had to increase if he were to keep his nation's sovereignty. In this case, he ordered the construction around the border of Prussia a line of fortifications. Not an inch was to be unprotected and it was to be manned at all times in case of Polish invasion.

TO: The Leaders of the World
From: Wilhelm IV of Prussia

To the leaders of all nations of the Earth,

I Wilhelm, the fourth of his name, announce Prussian independence as of today. I am King of Prussia, undisputed and by brother, Louis Ferdinand is my sole successor with my sons as pretenders to the throne. Madrid Conference-

Prime Minister Preto had decided to formally represent his Empire at the Madrid conference, seeing as how crucial it was to the future of the Brasilian people. Seeking formal alliance with the wholly misrepresented nations forming the "axis" of the world, Brasil had its eyes on the prize, seeing a signature of this new pact as the most advantageous step it could take toward the future. After years of floating under the radar, seeking any possible investments to modernize the South American nation, Emperor Dom Manuel III was finally confident in his Empires ability to make its presence known in the international community.

Today, today was the beginning of the future for the Empire of Brasil as Prime Minister Preto, as authorized by the Emperor, signed the "dotted" line to welcome Brasil into the newly created "axis"...

The Moscow Kremlin
Social Republic of Russia
February 8th, 1938

"We have eight divisions poised at both ends of the border, bringing the total number of troops available to one-hundred and sixty thousand," stated Pyotor Wrangel, wearing a starched, pressed uniform of the White Army. "Furthermore, we have seven-hundred T-26 tanks, four-hundred BT-7 medium tanks, and over three hundred bomber aircraft of varying classes and types available for the assault. The Estonian state is a rotting structure, all we need do is kick down the door."

Anton Denikin nodded. "I agree. The matter has already been settled in the Duma, and the international attention is on the aggressive expansion of the Americans in the Caribbean. We should move now, while prying eyes are directed elsewhere." The group of men, all high-ranking generals, politicians and members of the Russian National Party sat in one of the numerous offices within the Kremlin. They smoked cigars, drank coffee, and directed one of the most powerful nations in Europe. Alexander Kolchak cleared his throat, and waved his hands dismissively. "Then have it done. The Baltic is not what concerns me, it is this gathering in Paris. We have chosen to align ourselves with Spain during a dangerous time--no doubt the Americans will press the issue in the Caribbean, and such an alliance is sure to make other European powers wary. I give them a year before they're demanding the dismantling of Germany."

"So what should we have done?" questioned Wrangel, striking a match as he lit another cigar. He paused for a moment, glancing at the label wrapped tightly around the bound leaves of the cigar, and smiled. "Cuban. We won't be seeing many of these any more."
"You're right, Wrangel," said Denikin. "I'll be sure to add them to the list of contraband. We can't have the rabble smoking what's left of the good cigars now, can we?" The two nodded in agreement, and the conversation began to drift. First it was the poor state of American farming since the revolution, and how damn hard it is to find decent tobacco from southern states. Soon after that, the weather.

Russian Armored Divisions as they cross the border into Estonia.

The deep pounding booms of artillery could be heard from far away, as the thunder of tank treads filled the plain. The Russian 5th Army, slowly but steadily, crossed the border into Estonia. The soldiers, mostly conscripts serving their time in the military to feed their families, were commanded by a sprinkling of actual military officers, who mainly distributed their orders through political commissars put in place by the Russian National Party. Their role was not to give military orders, but to help carry the message of Russian dominance to the Estonian people, many who would be later forced from their homes to allow for the inevitable re-settling of Russians throughout the soon-to-be-annexed state.

The Russian government hardly viewed force necessary to capture the fledgling nation of barely a million souls. The artillery was meant to cow the military into submission; the bombers dropping pamphlets across the nation in place of bombs, calling on the military to throw down their arms and the populace to accept their new masters. On paper, it was meant to be nothing more than a military training exercise. Practice.

The United Kingdom of England - End of the Long Lasting Peace
Chapter 1 - War on the Horizon

London, England
Prime Minister Robert Bingham
London Heathrow Airport
March 5th, 1938

After returning from the Conference in Paris, Bingham stepped off of the plane as if satisfied, he had a smile on his face walking off of the plane and waved at the crowd that assembled around the airport, he was scheduled for a State of the Union Announcement today, and as he walked towards a podium that was hastily made for him, the Prime Minster stepped up towards the podium he waited for the crowd to silence themselves, before he spoke:

"People of Great Britain as you all know, we have faced multiple trials during our short Democratic Reign, we have faced the Assassination of the Royal Family and the Great Depression that hit our nation hard, and to the events that have conspired here on the year of 1938, where the world is entering a stage that will cause war to break out yet again, we all know that this is true, from the day that Fascism and Communism had arose that another war was inevitable, and even after the end of the Democracy in the United States, Great Britain has yet to crumble to Fascism nor Communism, we have stood tall as the direct example of Democracy in its Purest Form, where our people are free and all men are created equal, as in the wise words of George Washington, the first President of the United States.

Our most recent trials that we have had to face is the recent Russian Invasion of the Baltics, and the United State's Siege of Cuba and its looming threat on the Pacific Theatre, due to these rising threats to those nations, we have done what we have always done, we have ordered all Military Branches to drop down to DEFCON 3 and prepare for an outbreak because we know of the looming conflict that will be the spark to set fire to the Global Powder Keg that is ready to burst and engulf the World that we live in into a great fireball that has the potential to incinerate every nation involved in the conflict, but i assure to you, the people of the United Kingdom that we will never falter nor wither in the flames of war, we have not withered in World War I, and nor will we in this next war, instead we will prosper and survive, thank you, and may God Save the Queen"
Bingham stated as he waved to the crowd and walked off of the podium and into the Car, which took off from the Airport, bringing the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Defens

Tehran, Persia

March in Tehran was cool and a morning breeze wafted down from the snow-capped mountain peaks to the north of the city. The air was fresh and cold. It was not tainted with the smoke from the thousands of fires from the Persian capital below which burned to warm Tehran's inhabitants from the cold outside. Shah Reza sat on the balcony overlooking the entrance of the White Palace, the personal residence of the Shah which sat within the Sa'dabad Palace. Shah Reza, clad in a light grey suit with matching leather brogues. He also wore a black scarf wrapped around his neck. He sat on a wicker chair. His eyes darted around a newspaper. His face, wrinkled to mach his sixty years and his mustache was peppered with hairs of grey.

The man approaching him was an older man who closely matched his seniority. Mahmoud Jam was well known to the Shah. They had become good associates during Jam's term as finance minister when Reza has assumed the position of Prime Minister. Jam was a trusted ally of the Shah. As Jam approached the entrance to the Palace, the Shah rose from his seat and lent on the balcony's ornate railing.
"A fine morning, is it not?" the Shah asked.
"Bloody cold," Jam replied. "Do you have a fire going?"
"Since the early hours. Do you want tea?"
"Please." The doors were opened and Jam entered. The Shah was quick to meet him and they both shook hands before retiring to a back room.

When they arrived, tea had already been served and a fire was roaring. The Shah and the Prime Minister sat down to discuss the latest events concerning the world.
"The Prussians have acquired independence," Jam said, placing a cup back onto its saucer. "They are seeking recognition from foreign states around the world."
"And inform the ministry that the government of Persia will recognize their independence in due time." the Shah replied. "Anything else?"
"The conference in the European Federation has resulted in a defense agreement. We have not explicitly stated our support for such a move and have instead opted for assurances from imperial powers in the west and the east that our borders will be secure."
"Good, good. Where does this leave us?"
"We have agreed to supply them with oil and they have agreed to defend us when needed and modernize our armed forces. There was just one issue though, your Eminence."
"Which is?"
"We attack Russia in the event of war." The Shah sat back and carefully considered the idea. He sighed.
"So be it."

The United Kingdom of England - The End of Peace and the Rise of War
Chapter 2 - World War II: The Powder Keg explodes

London, England
Prime Minister Robert Bingham
London Ministry of Defense
March 5th, 1938

"...Alright, we have plans for Operation King and Country in its initial stages if World War II is ever to start, but there might be some complications in the initial planning, so we have a Plan B in progress if that Operation is to fail, however i believe that we can-" The SAS Commander by the name of "Baseplate" said before he was interrupted by a SAS Communications Officer walked up to him and whispered into his ear "Germany has just invaded Prussia without declaring war against them." Baseplate would then stand and state in a monotone voice "Adolf Hitler has just invaded Prussia, without declaring a formal war on them." Within moments, all eyes were on Baseplate, including Bingham himself "Are you sure about this?" Bingham asked.

The SAS Officer would then speak up "Yes Sir's, our MI6 Agents in both Germany and Prussia have confirmed this." The Room became deathly silent "Then it means that..." "Yes, World War II is imminent." Bingham said, before standing up "I want SIS Agents in this Country to spread out the word to the Military Bases that we are going directly to DEFCON 1 and to prepare for Operation Falcon's Eye, an aerial attack on Germany, and a Paratrooper drop on Germany, an Amphibious Assault code named Operation Swamp Overlord will commence as well, inform the Ministries of Defense, Information, to gather as much information as possible, and inform GCHQ to censor any German Propaganda that heads towards England." Bingham said.

The Ministers of Defense and Information stood up "Yes sir, we will get started on this." They said as they walked out of the meeting room. The Minister of Foreign Affairs stood up as well "Prime Minister, should i send a message to Germany formally declaring war on them?" Bingham looked up "No, you are not to formally declare war on them, if they want to attack Prussia without formally informing them, we will do the same thing." Bingham stated. "Yes Sir, i understand your statement, we will begin to also list any people who are suspected of being in league with the Nazi Party in conjunction with the Minister of Internal Affairs along with the SIS." The Minister stated whist walking out of the door as well.

Bingham would stare at the Minister of Propaganda "Minister Churchill, i want the Propaganda Ministry to begin spreading propaganda to the people asking for their assistance in filling the army, and i will personally call for the Reserve Units to return to duty and prepare for immediate Deployment, you are dismissed." Bingham stated as he saw the Minister of Propaganda silently withdraw from the meeting.

Bingham would then turn to Commander Giles Price "Giles, i want you to inform the Great Britian Ex Royal Guard Milita to prepare for defenses around our nation, and for the Anti Air Weapons to be readied for a Germany Air Raid of our nation." Bingham said before turning to his own assistant "And SIS Agent Johnson, get my Field Marshall Outfit ready, i'm going to assume my Field Marshall rank once more." Bingham stated before he walked out of the Meeting Room.

Sunderland, England
Admiral Michael Macmillan
Sunderland Military Harbor
March 5th, 1938

When word of Operation Swamp Overlord was a go, Vice Admiral Michael Macmillan had ordered the entire Naval Port of 5 Battleships, 10 Frigates, 1 Carrier, and 5 Submarines along with multiple Amphibious Carriers to prepare for immediate deployment, and he himself was aboard the Carrier HMS Nicholas who watched as the Ships began going into Formation around the harbor to prepare for deployment, he had foreseen that his fleet was bound to be there within 6 to 12 hours at the minimum "Alright chaps, let's do this, for King and Country." Macmillan said, his sailors nodding and murmuring in approval as the fleet began to file out of the harbor.

Residence of the Prime Minister
Tokyo, Nihon Dominion

It was a beautiful day in Tokyo. The cherry blossoms were beginning to come out in massive pink forests throughout the parks, and lined the paved roads that ran through the city. Mr. Shizuo Ryokyo's residence, a traditional Japanese home that overlooked the city, was surrounded by the blossoms. He was quite fond of them and had them planted generously throughout his garden. Enjoying the spectacle through his window, Shizuo finally turned back to his desk with a sigh. He had serious business to attend to. With the ever increasing tensions in Europe between the West, Russia, and Germany, it was only inevitable that the Far East would dissolve into the flames of conflict. Japan, unfortunately, was surrounded by a sea of foes. Russia and China to the West, and Siam in the south. In order to stay afloat, the land of the Rising Sun would have to take action in order to protect itself from Imperialism.

A knock sounded on the heavy maple door. Shizuo rose out of his chair and walked across the wood planks with a residual thud, thud, thud. The man who stood in the entry way was Columbian, serving as Japan's Foreign Minister - appointed in New Winchester. His name was Neville Cunningham. "Ah yes, Neville-san. Welcome to my office," Said Shizuo. "Would you like any tea?"

Neville accepted, hurriedly throwing himself in the chair that looked directly across at the Prime Minister. "Oh, yes please, Mr. Ryoko." Neville exclaimed, wiping some sweat from his face. The Prime Minister deftly took a small clay pot from a shelf to his right and poured the tea in a small cup, offering it to the exhausted Foreign Minister.

"Now, if I may ask, what brought you here?" Shizuo asked kindly, averting his eyes from the young man who had just poured all of the tea straight into his mouth.

"Ah, that was nice," Neville gulped, relaxing. "Now, on to my message. I came here quite in a hurry, you see. I received a letter from Intelligence that it looks like the Chinese might possibly try to invade Japan."

Shizuo nodded gravely, this was no surprise. "When did they think such an attack might occur?"

"Any time, Mr. Ryoko. With Columbia on the side of the Brits in Prussia, it's only a matter of time until the the Second World War begins. The Qing will obviously use any excuse to attack Japan."

"What did Intelligence recommend?"

"The mobilization of the Nihon Protection Forces."

A few hours later

Neville had left by now, and Shizuo had quickly phoned the General of the NPF. They had agreed to garrison a force of 15,000 on Okinawa, and another 20,000 in Fukuoka on Kyushu. Meanwhile, the Protection Navy would begin circuit patrols along the Japanese coastline to prepare for an attack from the Chinese.

Now, it was time to send a letter to Columbia.

Adressed: Prime Minister of Columbia
From: Prime Minister Shizuo Ryoko and Foreign Minister Neville Cunningham of Nihon
Encryption: Very High

Sir,

It has come to the attention of the Tokyo Central Intelligence Bureau that Chinese forces might potentially be gearing for an invasion of Japan, or in their eyes, a 'liberation.' It is with this news that I implore you to send a delegate (or yourself) to Japan in order to discuss the defense of our Home Islands. We will gladly host you or your delegate at my residence in Tokyo.

Signed,
Shizuo Ryoko
Neville Cunningham

New Winchester,
Columbia
March 6, 1938

The Prime Minister was just sifting through his papers, looking at the latest recruitment reports of the CMRNG, the total strength of the branch was about 145,000 troops, and the inflation of the military resulted in the force being 300,000 troops strong. While he was doing this, a soldier came in with a letter from the Nihon Dominion. "Hmm, what is this letter about?" He opened the letter, and found surprising results. The Nihon Dominion was asking for the Prime Minister to meet in Tokyo with the Prime Minister of the Dominion.

He immediately put on his coat, and went to the airport. He got in a government plane, and was on the way to Japan.

4 hours later

Sanderson woke up from his sleep during the trip, and found himself to be over the Tokyo International Airport. "Hello, Prime Minister Sanderson. We are going to be landing in the Tokyo International Airport in a short time!" "Oh, thank god." The Prime Minister then relaxed until the plane landed on the airport. Then, he went out with his guards and drove to the Japanese prime minister's residence. He knocked the door. [i]"Hello!"[i]

A faint radio transmission is heard is heard on government radio stations throughout the Kingdom of Columbia

The leaders of the Kingdom of Columbia, we are the New Sons and Daughters of Liberty, the last remnants of freedom and democracy in America. We are fighting for our freedom which has nearly been trampled upon by the communist regime. We are asking for you to assist us in any way possible, including weapons, provisions, medical supplies, military training, places to hide out, and even men. Anything is acceptable. We also ask for you to spread our plea for help to any democratic and free country. We would do this ourselves, but we don’t have the communication technology to allow us to get our message to the ears of free Europe as the communists currently control all long range communication. We hope that you will consider this, and may freedom and democracy reign supreme in this weary world.
Sincerely, Jacob Douglass, Leader of the NSDL and the Voice of Freedom

214 W. Nueva St, San Antonio, Texas, USCA

A young man frantically ran down the street as he clutched a large suitcase to his chest. He was screaming “Somebody, get the police! Two people just tried to rob me! I think they were rebels!” and ran to the San Antonio Police Department Headquarters. One could tell this man seemed to be die-hard communist: his suitcase was covered with communist inspired images as well as a picture of Chairman Rochman himself, not to mention the Communist Party uniform he wore. He began to climb the steps of the SAPD HQ when he was quickly apprehended by two red Police Officers. The officers asked the man what had happened. “There were two men, they looked like rebels or something, and they tried to take my suitcase away,” the man said, clearly shaken. The officers escorted the man inside for questioning, as the possibility of a rebel attack was probable. A few moments after they entered, the man opened up the suitcase. Doing so triggered a wire which in turn, detonated the IED inside. The man and his two escorts were instantly killed by the following explosion, along with sixteen nearby police officers and injuring several more. The blast was strong enough to level a good portion of the entrance and lobby, not to mention the fires it started. Now, the bombing was relatively small and the destruction it caused could be easily rebuilt in a matter of weeks, but it showed that the USCA was vulnerable and could be hurt by the NSDL. Right now, however, the communist should be more concerned with rebuilding the police station that currently had a dark plume of smoke slowly ascending into the sky over the city.

Just over the Kingdom of Columbia border

A group of about 1,000 NSDL patriots approached a Columbian fort. They had crossed over the border illegally over the course of two months from a remote part of Arizona to seek training from the Columbians. The leader of the group was one of Jacob Douglass’s closest friends, a man by the name of Tim Cooper. As the group approached the fort, a few Columbian soldiers approached.
“Hello, I’m Tim Cooper of the New Sons and Daughters of Liberty. We apologize for the unannounced visit, but things have gotten difficult. Our leader believes you will be able to help us, if you don’t mind,” Cooper said to the soldiers.

When the people of Columbia heard the plea for help, they then voiced their opinion strongly to the government. "Help the bringers of Liberty! Help Democracy! Help the people of America! Help the world!" "Support the rebels! Kill the Commies!" "Invade America!'' The protestors finally got the government's attention when they decided to send a message to all the democratic and free countries in the world, to help the New Sons and Daughters of Liberty in their endeavor to restore freedom and democracy to the United States, albeit a very censored message to prevent any other nations from hearing that they were, namely the USCA. In public, the Columbian government refused to help the rebel group, but in secret, they did.

Greetings,

We send this to all of you nations around the world, because the New Sons and Daughters of Liberty, an American rebel group dedicated to restoring the pre-Communist takeover United States of America with the principles of freedom, liberty, and democracy. We and them ask you, help them! Help the people who are risking their lives for a cause that is noble! Help the free and people that refuse to give up!

Help them any way you can.

Over the Kingdom of Columbia Border

The soldiers looked at each other, then went back to the fort for a short time to tell the commander. Then, they came back with good news. "We shall help and train you." Then, they escorted the men into the fort. The soldiers went into their armory, and came out with a huge load of ammunition, weaponry, uniforms, and equipment. "This is for you." Then, they made the patriots get into an organized formation and made them train for their eventual endeavor.

The European Federation - A Prelude to War
Chapter 3 - War Stories

Maginot Line
6 March 1938
Tandel, Luxembourg, European Federation

The young soldier looked out the window of the bunker. He squinted his eyes to better make out anything that might be in the distance. He focused on the trees and objects in the distance and not the concrete box he was in. It was a sunny day out and the wind was strong. The green trees blew in the sun and were a beautiful sight. "Oui, Xavier. I told you there was nothing there."

The man at the bunker were always on edge, but they gave out a good laugh. "Oui oui, of course Pierre. There's never anything out there. So gullible. The damn Germans may build up there army, but they would never attack the Maginot Line. It's impenetrable."

"Oui oui, I know the story. Stretching from Groningen to Konstanz so does the line stand. I'm just feeling edgy, you what I'm saying? That telegram yesterday about the Prussians wasn't good news. What if another nation did something stupid? I'm just worried. " The rest of the bunker agreed. The situation was tense and the border was no nice place for any member.

The Maginot line had recently finished a massive expansion project which put the border Providences of Swtizerland and Ijssel into the line. The line was started in 1925 was just completed. It was a well built defense system that offered a defensive position. The line, while starting in '25, wasn't heavily built until the 30's when the government made a program to giant program to expand and complete the line by the end of the decade. It put thousands of people to work and helped the European economy to fair slightly better than it would have without it. The plans for the lines weren't shared with anyone, even Austria who was worried about the German invasion. The defenses were a key to success would be very valuable to France. While the modernists like de Gaulle opposed them, he wasn't in charge of the military until 1937 when it was completed. While a proponent of a modern army with mobile divisions, he realized the problems Europe faced.

Europe was not in the best of positions after World War I. The German attacks caused a shortage in the national birth rate, and the general new that. Reserves were based on more older men that weren't as fit and would take time to mobilize. It was because of this that the line was built. With the extra time needed to mobilize, the country had the line as a way to prevent attacks before it could go on the offensive, a plan that de Gaulle greatly supported. The country had invested lots into its tanks as well, putting it second to the Russians. One of its best was the SOMUA S35 which was produced being produced huge numbers. The army was ready for war and de Gaulle was the cause.

The Treaty of Belotsarsk
March 17th, 1938

The Free Republic of Tannu Tuva, independent from Russian and Chinese rule but influenced by both nations since its independence during the Russian Civil War, has been without direction since its independence and has no legitimate claim to statehood. Without a nationality of its own nor the ability to sustain itself as a nation, the nations of the Qing Empire and the Social Republic of Russia have come together to decide its fate, as well as to settle the outstanding conflicts of interest throughout central Asia.

To prevent further conflicts and in the interest of returning ethnic Russians present in Tuva to Russian authority, both nations have universally assented to the annexation of Tuva into the Russian Social Republic. All articles shall go into effect immediately upon passage and ratification of this treaty.

Article I.
The Republic of Tannu Tuva is to be fully annexed into the Social Republic of Russia, and will exist as a semi-autonomous province within Russia.

Article II.
The government of the Republic of Tannu Tuva is to be dissolved, and reorganized into a regional administration acting in cooperation with Russian officials.

Article III.
The Qing Empire is to rescind all formal claims on the territory of Tannu Tuva, and is to withdraw all claims of suzerainty over its inhabitants.

Article IV.
The Social Republic of Russia is to withdraw all formal claims on the territory of Mongolia, and will forfeit all claims to influence within the regions of Mongolia and Chinese Manchuria.

Inside the Moscow Kremlin
Social Republic of Russia
March 18th, 1938

The massive conference hall was barely recognizable. A month in from taking it over, and the Ministry of War had completely changed the room's appearance--maps, communications stations, desks, stations for brewing coffee--all was present in high volumes than before. The predominant feature of the room became the collossal strategic map spread across the central table displaying western Russian and Europe. A smaller map of Asia was spread on the wall to the right of the entrance, where to officers stood bickering over the geopolitics of the region.

Anton Denikin examined the map of Europe with a keen eye. Across Estonia lie numerous gilded figures of Russian soldiers, as the Fifth Army finished its occupation of the country. The border police quickly abandoned their stations with the blitz of Russian artillery, and retreating Estonian units put up a token resistance while the bulk of the small army pulled in around Tallinn to defend the capital. Fighting in the countryside lasted less than a week, while it took two weeks to take Viljandi completely. Tallinn fell after a brief siege taking nearly a thousand Russian lives, bringing the total death toll to around 1,784 for the Russian forces. Estonian losses estimated at over two and a half thousand. The remaining army units stood down after heavy shelling on the western isles brought the rest of the Estonian state in line.

His concentration was broken as the entrance to the room burst open. A communications officer strode in with a fresh telegram. "Premier Denikin," he announced. He held the paper upwards. "Word from Belotsarsk. The Chinese have coalesced to our requests, and have assented to the annexation of Tuva." Denikin nodded, beckoning for the paper wordlessly. He read over the paper, and nodded again, satisfied. "Good," he said. "Very good." He shot a glance at the officers by the map of Asia, who proceeded to pin a small Russian flag over the former "autonomous state of Tuva". Denikin turned back to the map of Europe. "Very well," he murmered.

The man cleared his throat. "Listen up," he announced to the room. "Intelligence from Latvia reads that the army has already begun detonating bridges across the nation. Estonian units have also fled south and are refusing to disarm. This leaves us no choice but to pursue annexation of Latvia ahead of schedule." One of the officers in the back of the room stood from his seat, taking several quick steps forward. "The second half of the Fifth Army has already assembled in the Lavtian-Russian border. They are ready to move."
"Excellent. Do it." Denikin waved his hands to call the assembly to an end, and the room returned to its business. The Russian Premier turned back to the fraying map, and grasped a single Russian figurine, and with a deliberate motion, placed it atop the small, star-engraved red dot labeled "Riga, Latvia".

French India
March 18th

Mohammad Gandhi stepped out of the old stone building. A new day was and his group of followers departed too spread the word about getting India independence. The French had been good rulers- They gave India a great deal of autonomy, improved healthcare, housing, laid down railroad tracks and modernized the industry. However, it was time India spread her wings and left the nest. India should be completely free. Free of everyone, not just the British of French! India had potential to become the greatest nation the world had ever seen- it just needed to be free. So Mohammad Gandhi went around and talked to everyone about the benefits of being completely free from foreign rule, first the people, then the Indian soldiers who patrolled the streets.

Several Indians in the Indian Nationalist Party were trying to secure independence either with Gandhi peacefully or through the Indian parliament politically. Compared to the rest of India, everything was substantially more free. Indians had the option (So I assume) to run for political office- most of the leaders were at the very least, half Indian. (The French can decide how many people in government, if any, are part of the Indian Nationalist Party.)

British India
March 18th

In British India, things were much different. People were feverishly opposed to the British rule- dating all the way back to the time India got split between the French and British. They despised the French just as much- separating and indoctrinating fellow Indians to follow the rule of a foreign nation. It made multiple leaders of the Indian Nationalist Party sick to the stomach. They had everything needed to begin a rebellion- the support of the people, the manpower... they just needed the weapons.

Two of Shizuo Ryoko's personal escort opened the door for the Columbian Prime Minister, bowing in reverence. The door opened up into a beautiful, spacious entryway with sparse furniture that led out to a balcony looking over Tokyo. Shizuo himself was seated at a small, western-style stable in the middle of the patio. He motioned the Columbian over to him and offered him a cup of green tea.

"Hello, Mr. Sanderson. It is a pleasure to have you in Tokyo," Shizuo said in his accented English. "Now, on to this China business, eh? I am trusting you have heard of the recent treaty they signed with Russia. Do you think this is a foretelling of a Sino-Russo alliance?"

Sanderson took the green tea and sipped some of it, then put it down on the table for later. Then, he looked at the Japanese Prime Minister. "Yes, Mr. Ryoko, I do think this is the beginning of a Sino-Russian alliance. If this happens, the safety of the Nihon Dominion will be at risk, and the Nihon Protection Forces and Columbian military combined cannot hold off the Chinese and Russians, they will be too powerful for us."

The Empire of Spain

Madrid, Spain
Royal Palace of Madrid

Italo Balbo. Mohammed Gandhi. Jacob Douglass. Rebellion was brewing throughout the territories of the enemy, and it would be foolish to not take the opportunity. Empress Septima thought this as she reclined and enjoyed a glass of wine, however, more important matters were in order, there was tension building in Europe. The the tensions between the Proteger Cordiale and the Naciones Unidas del Eje were rising, a joint invasion of Spain by France and Britain could prove disastrous if things were stalled in the West. Proper preperation would be required, and that meant collaborating closer with allies around the globe. Reflecting on all of this, the Empress wrote on pen and paper a few letters:

Image
To the Honorable Emperor Dom Manuel III of the Brasilian Empire
As friendly Axis members, we both face the horrid and jingoistic power in the Americas known as the USCA. Our navies in the region are remarkable, but divided they would be swiftly defeated by the United States. To remedy this problem to an extent, I propose that the Brasilian Navy and the Spanish American Naval Force unite, and rebase themselves in Northern Brasil, far from American bombing range.

Image
To the Honorable Supreme Governor Alexander Kolchak of the NRR
It is known that war is coming to Europe. Supply routes between Germany and Russia are fluid, enabling you two to efficiently support each other, unfortunately my nation is blocked by France in that regard. Therefore, in advance I invite any troops you can spare to garrison themselves in Spain, they will prove invaluable in repelling an enemy invasion or invading the enemy.

To the Honorable Jacob Douglass of the United States of America
Your crusade against the Communism of the USCA is righteous and just, and the Spanish Crown wishes to assist your Reconquista of the nation. The islands of Saint Croix and Puerto Rico are to be your de facto possessions. Your cause will be able to man troops on them, extract taxes from their populace, and form a government with laws. The Spanish Garrisons will be maintained and the islands will be our de jure territory, but outside of that, they are free to your use. In addition, the local armories and munitions of the isles that are not being used by the Garrisons are property of your Government, this includes an array of older tanks, some ships, and a handful of aircraft, but many small arms.

Image
To the Honorable Italo Balbo of the Kingdom of Italy
Balbo, you fight honorably and valiantly against the pox of "freedom" levied over the peoples of Italy. The Spanish Crown sees your movement as no only just, but as an invaluable ally in this divided world. Ergo, I have decided to grant you and your cause the island of Minorca to be your de facto base of operations. Your cause will be able to man troops on them, extract taxes from their populace, and form a government with laws. The Spanish Garrisons will be maintained and the island will be our de jure territory, but outside of that, it is free to your use. In addition, the local armories and munitions of the isle that are not being used by the Garrisons are property of your Government, this includes an array of older tanks, some ships, and a handful of aircraft, but many small arms.

To the Honorable Mohammed Ghandi of India
You are fighting valiantly against foreign occupation of India, and the Spanish Crown sees that as a common and just cause between us. I am committed to your movement, and therefore I have decided to grant you the isle of Palawan to be your de facto base of operations. Your cause will be able to man troops on them, extract taxes from their populace, and form a government with laws. The Spanish Garrisons will be maintained and the island will be our de jure territory, but outside of that, it is free to your use. Constantinople
The Roman Empress was in her palace along with her top commander. She was the nominal supreme commander of the military as per the constitution but she delegated most activities as such to the minister of defense. But this was top important,as this related to what branch of the military would be the main focus of the military's rearmament and what tactics should be the basis of said modernization. She agreed with the young guard of officers who favored a more mobile style of warfare. The Senate has voted 20% of the budget into the military

Aden

The warehouse wasn't well used; in fact, it was all but forgotten, the owner long since liquidated during the Great Deperession. But it suited the United Islamic Liberation Front just fine. It was quiet and secluded, and the elite of it's military arm were on watch in the surrounding areas.

A few men sat scattered around a stained map of the world, everything on the west side of the Atlantic crudely torn off. They didn't need that part, after all.

"Shall we begin, Al-Fahid?" A clean-shaven man at the head of the table spoke.

"Of course, Mahood." Fahid responded. "We don't have all day."

"Good. As you're all aware, we've finally completed the unifying of the numerous Islamic resistance movements across the world, and now we can turn to our greater objective. Liberating it from the heathen ERE, the Europeans, the Spanish, the British, the Scandanavians... The list of heathens carries on. But we must fight them, for Allah, and for the good of Muslims across the world."

The men nodded, before one spoke. "And how shall we do this?"

"Simply. The world has grown decadent. It's demand for oil grows by the day. We simply have to cut the pipeline, and work from there. I will leave how best to achieve this up to you. May His wisdom guide you."

With that, the group filtered out of the room, heading back to their hotels, and from their back to their own countries. Then they could set to work driving the heathens from what was rightfully their land.
