Her Ascendancy, the Matriarch Empress Jennifer Thrall, invites the nations of Cornellia and beyond to establish Embassies and Consulates in the Empire. Much of the previous decades were spent hidden behind our borders, distrustful of the outside world and what it threatened to bring to our ancient Land. It is our hope that by inviting ambassadors of the Nations of the World, we may deal more freely in diplomacy, trade, and friendship.

All Embassies will be located in the Imperial Capital of Bryn Tegna, and will enjoy the protection of (in addition to their own security details) the Internal Security 1 Corps. All Ambassadors will be immune from prosecution of crimes carrying the penalties of death, mutilation, or long term imprisonment.

We reserve the right to reject any application for any reason, including but not limited to: Patriarchal Excessivism, Ideological Incompatibility, Conflicting Diplomatic Interests, and We-saw-you-looking-at-her-don't-bother-denying-it-and-don't-bother-coming-home-tonight,

As a personal preference, I would like applicants to be nations that I have RP'd with or would be interested in RPing with me in the future, though I won't be rejecting applications on this premise. All nations from Cornellia and Aurora are welcome.

Dr. Rezin has a long history of involvement in the Free Congress Movement from during Union organizations and the first assembly of the Congress in 2006. She has had to make sacrifices like spending time in prison and being under house arrest.

She is a strong believer in Christianity and is active in the Apostolic Church. She has a lot of experience in working with committees to develop the Ministry of Health, Transport and Education. She also served on the National Committee for Acheronian Peace and Development, a non-government think tank consisting of unofficially serving members of government, the business, retired military and academic communities.

Dr. Rezin is a prolific speaker on a range of topics covering politics, governance, public health, education and local economics. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Fineberg as well as a doctorate in political philosophy.

He has previously served in Ossoria and New Edom, and in Krostuk has served in a wide variety of roles regarding foreign and domestic policies, including relations with other Cornellian nations, national security and trade.

Mr. Campbell has stated that he is "honoured" to be appointed as head of Alizeria's diplomatic mission to the Feminist Empire of Deadora, stating,

"I'm not sexist because some of my best friends, including my wife, are women and women are actually one of my favourite genders anyway. As a result I feel well qualified for this task and look forward to deepening the strictly platonic friendship between Alizeria and Deadora and hopefully extending it to friendship with benefits or perhaps even a full scale romantic relationship. A shuffling sound could be heard across the Cabinet room as the 17 Ministers of the Crown simultaneously turned the page of their Cabinet briefing report.

The eyes of the Cabinet fell onto William Eastwood, the Foreign Secretary who, despite being physically much larger than the Prime Minister, couldn't help feeling just a hint of nervousness under his cool and penetrating gaze.

"I understand that the initiative to directly expand relations with the rest of the region and the world is fully underway?" The Prime Minister's voice was at once gentle, genial and threatening.

"That is correct, Prime Minister," Said the Foreign Secretary without making eye contact. "As we discussed briefly last week, we are hoping to move beyond our current system of having multiple nations represented in or by a single Ambassador or High Commissioner, and move to a system of - especially within Cornellia - having an individual High Commissioner in each nation."

"I take it these initiatives have been successful?" It was Judith Brierly, the Home Secretary, who piped up.

William had always hated Judith - aside from her belonging to the opposite faction of the party to him (she being on the party's radical right, he being on the party's moderate left), he had always found her brash, conniving, and deeply unpleasant.

"There has been... limited success in these measures." Said William. He was still not willing to meet the gaze of his fellow Cabinet Ministers.

A hush fell over the Cabinet room. It was well known that "limited success" was a byword for "I fucked up and I fucked up big time".

It was the Prime Minister who broke the silence. He seemed so gentle, almost weak, to the general public and yet behind the closed doors of the Cabinet room, Anthony Ashton was as ruthless as any tyrant, and he inspired fear in his ranks.

His voice, barely more than a whisper, dripped with venom and menace. "Care to elaborate, William?"

"Prime Minister... in short we are yet to hear from the Feminist Empire of Deadora in regards to whether or not they have accepted Mr. Graeme Campbell as Alizeria's High Commissioner to Deadora, despite the letter of credence having been sent more than two weeks ago.

"It is possible that my staff -- I mean, I -- may have inadvertently offended them by failing to adequately assess the culture of said nation, specifically their Matriarchal society and have run the risk of seeing our Humble Kingdom perceived by them as Patriarchal and therefore not compatible with their national ideology."

William hung his head. He was in the shitter now, he could feel it.

The fact that he had been given the job of Foreign Secretary had always seemed to good to be true. He had been slated for a junior Cabinet role at best, and it was only due to the sex scandal before the election involving the then-Shadow Secretary that had seen him elevated to a Great Officer of State.

He could feel the other ministers - his enemies, like Judith Brierly in particular, smirking at him, plotting away, waiting for the Prime Minister to humiliate him and axe him.

But no such thing came from the Prime Minister and the silence was instead broken by a snort from one of the junior ministers - David Hubbard, the Minister of Agriculture - who finally bellowed out "Bloody women!"

Laughter followed, including, William was relieved to note, from the Prime Minister and some of the Cabinet even went to far as to say "Hear hear!" to Hubbard's outburst.

William glanced at Judith Brierly, who he was relieved to note looked livid and disgusted.

When the laughter had died down, the Prime Minister looked at the Foreign Secretary not with venom, but with kind eyes, understanding eyes.

"Well William. You can hardly be held responsible for that." He said.

"Aye," Michael Neilson, Deputy Prime Minister added. "You know what bloody women are like. Probably too busy doin' their bloody 'air an' make-up to accept our 'igh Commissioner, ain't that right?" He looked at the three female Cabinet ministers, two of which smiled while one (the Home Secretary) scowled. "I'm always waitin' all bloody day for bloody women to make up their minds!"

The Prime Minister smiled and nodded.

"Couldn't have put it better myself," He said, turning the page of the booklet in front of him. "Now on to Item Eight on the agenda..."
