The Imperial Bank of Symphonia is a private financial institution that serves over one billion people across the Asian Federation of Nations, our home region of Astyria, and around the world. The bank is governed by a Board of Directors who manage our five key global customers and businesses: Savings, Loans, Insurance, Investment, and International Services. The institution is based in the Metropolis of Symphony, Symphonia and falls under the jurisdiction of the City of Symphony Corporation, whose chairman also serves as the bank's board president.

Short History

Founded in 1745 ATS during the reign of Holy Emperor Augustus VI, pro-government IBS worked to make sure that Symphonian government officials and other notable persons were given world-class financial benefits. The Imperial Bank was also given the task of monitoring the economic health of the Holy Imperial Federation of Symphonia, as well as playing the role of the central reserve bank of the HIFS until its dissolution in 1854 ATS. Since then, the IBS was steadily opened more and more to the public and changed its goals, until finally Empress Mioko II decreed that all government-owned institutions be privatized and open to the general public. As stated earlier, the Imperial Bank of Symphonia offers five services to our customers:
1) Savings - Our basic and primary service. Can be used for individuals, corporate entities, or governments.
2) Loans - Our basic and secondary service. Can be used for individuals, corporate entities, or governments.
3) Insurance - The bank offers insurance coverage for companies and individuals who may need coverage in the event of emergency.
4) Investment - The money that is deposited can be indicated as being available for use by the bank to make investments in companies, commodities, as well as developing nations. Since its independence as a private institution, IBS has worked constantly to achieve good financial growth and stability in the countries and regions that we serve. In addition to our basic responsibilities to our customers, IBS works to improve all interested nations or entities through a combination of investment and aid.

We have worked towards increased economic freedom by encouraging and financially aiding private industry, thereby improving global economic health. We have also worked towards improving the economies of our member nations by investing their deposits back into their country, or have used their deposits to help small countries access the capital needed for development projects. Some funds have also been allocated towards emergency relief, so that nations affected by unexpected catastrophes may have a cushion to soften the blow. This sense of responsibility has helped aid job growth and cultural ties between nations, a fact that we are more than happy to continue to contribute to.

In addition to social responsibilities, we have also supported environmentally friendly projects and invested in clean alternative energy like solar and wind energy. The IBS Investment Program
What is it?

The IBS Investment Program is the center of IBS foreign interaction.
