Apparently it is relevant in the table. 120 mm M829 DU penetrators (as I am sure the table is made for) apparently have a yield strength of ~1,700 MPa.

I managed to find that it was capable of penetrating a Goa'uld light tank's shield as it apparently has more momentum than an APFSDS of my MBT. Which is good, b/c otherwise I'm fucked.

Cause not always on NS you can chose who will be on the other side. I had my run ins with 200 tones heavy tanks, tanks armed with up to 155 mm ETC guns and so on.
The 140 mm gun yes it will kill everything now. But why not be prepared. The M7 Tigers have a standard 140 mm L 45 smoothbore gun. In constant warfare there is noting bad with an overkill.

Oops. I didn't actually notice that. I was referring to the perforation limit calculator, which I found (after I posted the updated image) did not accurately represent the penetrator.

But they can't drive to their own places. Hell no.

Well maybe. But still having armor is a good thing. Considering that in my timeline I RP with probable technology of around 2018-2020. But still I am talking earlier. I have done several of my errors and that is what I am trying to fix now.

Spalling isn't really something to rely on, it will reduce penetration overall which means you're trading penetrating power for potential post-penetration effects. Worry about those after you've gotten through the target's armor first. Designs that are meant to increase post-penetration effects like PELE generally put their fragmenting sections at the rear, so the front of the penetrator can do its work and once it's punched through, then the fragmentation can begin.
