Is your nation a Capitalist, Socialist or Communist?

In simple words, Capitalist is where resources, trade, industry are controlled by private owners.
SOCIALIST- This is a mixed economy. A socialist economy is where the means of production (MOP) are publicly owned, and operated not-for-profit but for use instead.
SOCIALIST-a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
A communist society is stateless, classless and moneyless , every "communist country" was never communist since they had those three things (communism isn't possible on a national level, and nor was it meant to be, it is international). Communist is basically supposed to be a utopia.

Our economy is socialist in the sense of being characterized by worker cooperatives, although there is still government regulation to ensure competiveness and fairness in the marketplace. There is also a substantial welfare state, but this is a temporary stopgap measure that should be dismantled after the transition to a true socialist economy is complete, as a permanent welfare state is unsustainable.

Alizeria is a tightly regulated mixed-market economy which is often mistakenly thought of as being socialist.

However, the newly elected Liberal government has announced that it will be embarking on sweeping economic reforms which will transition Alizeria into an open, free market economy. Watch this space.

What the OP described as "communism" is an authoritarian form of state socialism, which is really state capitalism, and is also what most so-called "communist states" are really like.

Technically Socialist. But since the military (by extension the entire government) can seize anything without warning or compensation no one really bothers with capitalism.
