Proposal is self-explanatory. The original liberation was authored by me some time back. Recently I've been told that natives want it repealed because they want SP to become a normal region again. Hence, I've started work on this.

If this has native support, then it seems reasonable.

As the current and elected delegate for South Pacific, I fully support the removal of the liberation. We have always been a neutral, open door region, and the liberation is a blemish reflecting the fact that some people dont respect that aspect of our regions culture.

I am always a little reluctant to remove liberations from regions like South Pacific for fear that we will be passing another liberation six months from now - like Mall has implied; however, I'll vote for. Not entirely sure why. Anyway, this proposal should have no difficultly passing once put to vote.

The occupation of South Pacific was hilarious because the UDL liberation attempts consistently missed update. Frankly it was an amazing display of ineptitude.

Dates in nations vary greatly. Some take place on different planets and other cultures may think it to be a different year since most calendars are highly culturally subjective due to their ties to religious events.
EDIT: Some take place in the future and the past also.

Perhaps but the WA has a clear label on the resolutions that are passed giving a date for their passage. I think to state that it's illegal is an incredibly massive stretch that wouldn't stand a chance of holding up. Furthermore it's been done before.
