Fuel Types Available

Diesel s produced from the fractional distillation of crude oil between 200 °C (392 °F) and 350 °C (662 °F) at atmospheric pressure, resulting in a mixture of carbon chains that typically contain between 8 and 21 carbon atoms per molecule. Certain types of automotives including some military vehicles use diesel fuel as they have a lower flammability.

Gasoline Gasoline is the fuel for spark ignition engines. Generally gasoline contains other elements such as isopropyl alcohol. It can be kept in a stable condition for many years if stored in the right conditions. Many civilian vehicles use gasoline as well as some military vehicles.

Aviation Fuel is a high quality variety of gasoline with additives to prevent things like icing and to maintain stability at high temperature. Smaller turboprop planes, some helicopters are among the many uses for Avgas, while most planes (such as military jets and commercial jets) supplied through FODE use jet fuel.

Fueling Stations

Fueling stations can be modeled for specific nations, but essentially the model used by FODE is thus:
1. Most of the fueling installation is underground, pump machines in the forecourt and a point of service inside a building. Single or multiple fuel tanks are deployed underground. Fuel is usually offloaded from a tanker truck into the tanks through a separate valve, located on the filling station's perimeter. Fuel from the tanks travels to the dispenser pumps through underground pipes. For every fuel tank, direct access must be available at all times.Tanks can be accessed through a service canal directly from the forecourt.
2. Stations employ a single pipe for every dispenser. This pipe houses a number of smaller pipes for the individual fuel types. Fuel tanks, dispenser and nozzles used to fill car tanks employ vapor recovery systems, which prevents releases of vapor into the atmosphere with a system of pipes. The exhausts are placed as high as possible. A vapor recovery system may be employed at the exhaust pipe. This system collects the vapors, liquifies them and releases them back into the lowest grade fuel tank available.
3. The forecourt is the part of a filling station where vehicles are refueled. Fuel dispensers are placed on concrete plinths, as a precautionary measure. Additional elements may be employed, including metal barriers. The area around the fuel dispensers must have a drainage system. Since fuel sometimes spills on the ground, as little of it as possible should penetrate the soil. Any liquids present on the forecourt will flow into a channel drain before it enters a petrol interceptor which is designed to capture any hydrocarbon pollutants and filter these from rainwater which may then proceed to a foul sewer, stormwater drain or to ground.
4. Space is allotted to add areas such as cash registry area as well as convenience stores or cafes. Larger designs may include restaurants, car washes and mechanics’ shops as desired.

FODE does not provide one time only shipments; FODE exists to provide continuous service to the private and public sectors for industry. Signing up with FODE means that regular shipments will be made by fueling vessel or container vessel, or that teams of engineers and architects will help with the design of fueling stations.

Representatives from these nations met at Nass, Teman Province in New Edom last year to sign a declaration to the effect that they would support one another's economic growth and expansion beyond the region.

Social Responsibility

FODE recognizes that the ability to do business in any community is a privilege. High standards of health, environmental, safety, security and social responsibility performance underpin our culture of continuous improvement.

Safe, cost-effective refinements in hydraulic fracturing (also known as fracking), horizontal drilling and other innovations now allow for the production of Hydraulic fracturing technology is a vital tool. FODE employs to produce oil and gas resources to meet growing energy demand. Safely used for more than six decades, its importance has been magnified in recent years with the emergence of unconventional resource plays. Combined with advanced horizontal drilling technology, hydraulic fracturing enables the industry to produce oil and gas resources that were previously inaccessible. While these technologies have unlocked new supplies of oil and gas, we understand they must be managed responsibly to minimize environmental impacts.

Proper well construction is essential to protecting the environment, particularly fresh water aquifers. Steel casing and cement are used in the wellbore to create physical barriers and protect drinking water resources. During well construction, we use industry best practices and comply with state rules that apply to drilling and completion.

Water Use
In keeping with our commitment to water stewardship, we work to minimize the environmental impact of our operations on local watersheds. For example, in some shale operations in Urdnotia, water supplies in certain aquifers do not meet standards for municipal or agricultural use, but may be acceptable for oil and gas use. FODE actively pursues these alternative sources and reviews available technology that would enable us to reuse more water. Management of waste is done in cooperation with all necessary state and local laws.

Biodiversity
In accordance with WA laws, wildlife and biodiversity are duly protected by FODE cooperating with national and local authorities. If need be cooperation is ensured to protect or divert flora and fauna to safe places.

EMERGENCIES
FODE has preparedness for the following types of emergencies.
• Natural disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes
• Security related incidents like civil unrest
• Operational disruptions resulting in injuries, spills, fires or explosions
When an emergency situation arises, FODE’s approach is to respond aggressively and in cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. Our ability to do this is based on:
• Maintaining response teams at the local, regional and corporate levels
• Maintaining a network of response contractors and consultants
• Conducting annual training, drills and exercises including government agencies and key stakeholders
• Participating in industry associations to share lessons learned and drive improvements
• Maintaining a corporate Emergency Preparedness Group with professionals dedicated to full time preparedness training, drills and industry participation.
