Locations:
The King, the Right Hand and our Advisor of International Diplomacy are proud to present all 5 of our most important cities due to the immense size of our nation.Villeldr
Situated in a bowl or valley in our vast mountain chain in the west. Our true capital is one of our oldest cities, the first evidence of humans in the area dates to 10000 BC with evidence of the first town and agriculture dating back to 2000 BC. Due to the natural wall of mountains the city does not only have a wonderful landscape but it also the best defended and mist sheltered from the harsh winds. Villeldr is also home to the national parliament and the king.
The population of Villeldr is 20 million, by far the most populated of cities.
Embassies will be housed with in the old city, we prefer that they be housed in already occurring buildings as there are a number of large housing complexes that are no longer used but well maintained due to historical significance but we are willing to build to suit as long as the buildings requested follow the architecture of the old city, interiors of existing buildings will be renovated to suit.Weiseldr
This large city is in the south west placed between the mountains and the massive lake known as Throstholl, due to the large and dangerous waves that are seen amongst the waters. The locals here once thought the lake was home to the beloved god of the rivers and death who kept the waters churning to prevent unwanted mortals out. Of course the myth has no truth behind it but the waves of the lake does take lives of unsuspecting people who ignore the warnings of not to go in. Foreigners are warned to not go in with boats or swim until they have lived in the area for at least 2 years and are able to judge the safety of the waters. The craziest of the locals have though decided to surf amongst the waves. The climate of the city it’s self is very alpine, the winds from the mountains and the lake prevent the area from being very lush, very few trees are in the area and those that are tend to be stunted. It never gets past 20*C in the summer. The first evidence of settlers dates to 7000BC and the first evidence of a flourishing town dates back to 3 AD. The harsh climate prevented most attempts of establishing a stable economy, as agriculture was near impossible the city is primarily a manufacturing city these days.
However despite the climate it has enough charm to house the current population of 12 million.
Embassies will be housed in the old city which is closest to the mountains. While it is encouraged to use one of the existing large buildings the city is willing to build to suit according to the local code in order to preserve the aesthetics of the inner city, interiors will be built to suit the needs of the officials.Groeneldr
Our youngest city it’s birth as a town dating back to 500 AD. It is also the most temperate of our cities. It is situated in the middle of the only expanse of forests in the country. The city was at first there primarily to produce timber but due to a concentration of boar in the area quickly became one of the most productive areas in terms of agriculture, mostly wild boar but some fruits and vegetables that require a more temperate climate are grown there too. Almost all timber production has since stopped in order to preserve what little forest the lands hold.
It is a highly populated city housing 14 million citizens.
Embassies will be housed in the centre, the oldest part of the city in order to ensure that all luxuries are with in walking distance. The city will build to suit but there are a few preexisting complexes that can be requested, the interiors will the renovated to ensure the specific needs of the officials are met.Feileldr
This city is where the oldest evidence of humans with in the nations was found dating back to 12 000 BC. The city it’s self how ever has only been around since 5000 BC as the original tribe in the area was nomadic. The first thing to note is that this is the heart of Feileldr steppe. There are few trees and and the temperature extremes are quite vast. The lowest temperature ever recorded being -80*C and the highest being 28*C. The winds and storms having no natural barriers are harsh. The region the city is located in contains large herds of wild horse and bison and is also home to the national animal. This is also the most productive region when it comes to minerals, gas, oil, wind energy and agriculture. Economics is very stable and the city is also very big on tourism. The city because of the climate of the area is subject to numerous natural phenomenons such as tornadoes, sever thunder storms and drought and so building codes have been tailored to ensure the least amount of damage to both property and living routine.
The city is home to 10 million citizens.
Embassies will be built in the centre where it’s the least windy due to the high rises that surround and fan out from it. The city will definitely build to suit but advises that they follow the local code to the dot to prevent damages due to the weather and that foreign officials follow the municipal laws in regards to water rationing.Geiseldr
The first evidence of a town dates back to 6000 BC. The city is situated beside Goose lake. The economy of the city revolves almost completely on tourism these days as the lake is a rest stop for up to 50 million geese possibly much more every spring to early summer. In the past the lake has been a steady source of food but due to an increase in conservation projects is now a protected area. Goose farms how ever have taken over in order to preserve some of the culture. It is also the smallest of the most important cities.
Geiseldr has a population of about 8 million
Embassies will be housed in the old city and must use one of the existing complexes in order to preserve the historical aesthetics. The interiors will be renovated to suit in order to ensure the specific needs of the officials in question.Regulations:
There are a number of regulations in place as regards to embassies.

Up to 20% of total inhabitants may be for security. (15 maximum)
Municipal laws and recommendations are suggested to be followed for personal safety.
This is for safety. While the citizens are not a danger to anyone the nature is, with the immense size and the extremes of the climates it is very easy to get lost and die due to the wildlife, exposure or drowning especially if one hasn’t lived in the area for at least 3 years. As such the citizens of the various cities have your best safety in mind and will recommend some local rules or have laws in place that will benefit your stay. While it is optional to follow them inside the embassy grounds it is suggested that they are taken to heart.
Weaponry
Only small arms are permitted for defence.
This includes any fire arm classified as civilian grade revolvers and self-loading pistols and rifles, semi-automatic and manual rifles are permitted, Nonlethal weapons such as; taser, baton, non-lethal gases and sprays and bladed weapons such as daggers. The nation internally is very safe with very few to almost no serious crimes so nothing larger than what was mentioned should be needed. Honestly the most danger comes from the climate and the landscape. Hunting grade shotguns not exceeding 12 gage are permuted for protection from wildlife. No explosives, military grade weaponry of any kind are permitted.
No fire arms may exceed .40 caliber (with the exception of shotguns) and no blades longer than 5 inch.

Vehicles and transportation.
Number of ground vehicles may not exceed half the total inhabitants for Officals, staff, security and their families included.
No armoured and/or military grade vehicles are permitted and we recommend nothing you are afraid of getting damaged or ruined in the following cities and their respective regions, due to weather, typography and wildlife: Feileldr, Weiseldr, Geiseldr. We mean nothing expensive.
It is also good to note that all city centres do not permit cars but it’s recommended if you want to travel outside them. The areas the embassies are do permit cars but further into the old city you will be restricted to walking and cycling.
1 civilian grade helicopter and 1 civilian grade plane is permitted.
They are permitted for travel and transportation although we suggest that helicopters are grounded during the shoulder seasons due to wind especially around the mountains as winds in the alpine areas may make it too dangerous to fly.
1 designated passenger rail car may be permitted, this is optional.
We have an excellent railway that connects all major cities and regions have smaller rails to connect the smaller towns and cities. To cross the country completely takes about 10 days but to reach most cities takes about 2. This is much faster than using the roads and run year round no problem unlike with air traffic. As such Land of Swords and Stuff is willing to designate passenger cars to embassy officials and their staff in order to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Other things to know (mostly recommendations and things to be aware of)
Alcohol and soft drugs are legal although they still have to be declared.
Free Speech is held dearly by our citizens and seen as a sign of true equality
As such it is warned that every view and belief is open for light criticism and questions. This is extended to the foreign officials but this does not give the ok for out right mockery, offensive criticism or the forcing of other views. While there are no laws to punish such acts you will not be protected if citizens return the favour or stop taking the officials seriously. If the light criticism is too much you are allowed to kindly ask for it to stop.
It is encouraged but not mandatory that embassy inhabitants take part in festivals
Out of respect and as a way to learn more about live with in our borders it is encouraged that anyone sent over to take part in the various festivals that take place, it is good to note that while all of them have their origins from the national pagan religion all of them have lost nearly all their faith significance. This is of course optional but recommendation is high as these festivals tend to be regarded as symbols of pride and the best times to meet and spend time with citizens.
If desired, embassy inhabitants and their family are permitted to hunt for the following wildlife:
Wild boar, bison, deer, wild goose with the exception of Goose Lake, brown bear, ducks, wild grouse, mountain lion, wolf, fox, coyote, hare and rabbit.
Provided that the necessary permits, quotas and regulations are filled out and followed.
It is recommended that 2-5% of your staff be hired locally.
They will be happy to act as translators and guilds. We can guarantee that their loyalty and willingness is 100% and that they can be fully trusted with your well being and safety.
