Swith Witherward wrote:"Of course we can keep going. We might do more of it here. Well, there, in Bielefeld. Because you're not in Bielefeld at the moment. Although you are, somewhat. In a fashion."
He added sugar lump to his cup and swirled it around with a finger. "I was hoping you'd want to continue. I have something coming up that I could use your help on. But those details are sketchy even to me, and I'm not sure if it'll pan out or not. It all depends on Time and Fate and tuna." Which is to say it all depended upon kickstarting some things on Sunday, but Will was just as much in the dark as this writer is currently.
"In the meantime, part of a cultist's job is to find ways to make things mesh again. Gods unravel fabric. Sometimes egos and hidden feelings unravel friendships. You can't weave fabric but you can mend broken bridges. That's why I brought you here. To mend the breaks in your group. Marcus and Torsi and Giovenith and Drova and Myra. Mend."

Giovenith wrote:"Oh yeah, kids, they're so, you know, cute and stuff," the Equestrian pegasus agreed half-attentively, as he rather liberally reached into one of the again-asleep Giovenith's dress pockets, and pulling out a bottle of water that seemed to be too big to have fit so inconspicuously in there. "This is Giovenith, she's my roommate and self-appointed bodyguard. She was supposed to go out with friends last night, and I found her asleep just now on the freaking lobby floor."
Willow gestured to any of the other passed out teens strewn across the lobby, all looking quite worn down and exhausted. He was, as of yet, clueless as to what they had done to wind up like this, but Willow was sincerely hoping they weren't the 'at-risk' type. The last thing he wanted to do was go all D.A.R.E. on their flanks, but he would if he had to. Willow wasn't Giovenith's parent or related to her in any fashion (well, no shit), but if she was, Celestia forbid, on drugs or drinking, the pony knew it would have been his obligation to alert her elders and take the appropriate measures. He was stiff like that.
He bit down on the cap, twisted it open, and then spit the white plastic thing to the side before gently setting it on the ground. "Giovenith, wake up and drink something."
"Mmmmshmmfffff..." Giovenith groaned, loosely pushing the pony away. "Freakiiiiin' gfffff..."

Giovenith wrote:"... Uhhhh..." Willow grimaced, flattened his ears, and glanced to the side worriedly, temporarily shifting his concern away from the (now waking up) Giovenith. "I'm not sure about that. It's a very generous offer and all, but I've never really been... good with children, and what have you. I would most likely perform abysmally."
The closest Willow had ever come to babysitting in the past was helping out with his father's little league coaching once back in Cloudsdale. It hadn't gone well, to say the least. Never before had he seen anypony of any age become so vicious over the last bag of animal crackers, nor get into so many fights about the mammal-hood or lack thereof of whales and dolphins, nor ask so many times where babies came from, and apparently, you weren't supposed to describe in great detail exactly what would happen to their soft little skulls if they kept throwing a fit about not wearing their protective headgear and a fastball struck them face-first.
"I could help out in an emergency, I guess," he offered apologetically, rubbing the back of his head. "But you probably wouldn't want me as a go-to."
"Jacob," Giovenith suddenly greeted hoarsely, Willow briefly catching her gaze to spot the cat-hyoo-mun she was looking at.

New Aksarben wrote:"Hi there, Giovenith. You okay? You look like you really could use some more sleep..... Wait, did you and the other teens sleep out in the lobby tonight? Why would you do that?" Jacob asked, his dog ears flicking around from his curiosity. He had no idea why she and they would have slept here, seeing as he'd been more than a little shut up for a while, having spent most of his time around the apartment reading various books and cleaning up after them all. IT took quite a lot to make sure that fur wasn't covering literally everything after all.
Jacob waved again to the odd looking humanoid equine thing, wondering how he hadn't noticed him despite speaking directly to him, along with the pony near Giovenith. Well, he'd notice eventually, most likely.

The 'odd looking humanoid equine thing' looked back over at Jacob, blinking in surprise. "Oh, sorry, I didn't see you, I was busy talk to my good friend Willow. Name's Cerril Estafador, Prince of Tinell. Pleasure to meet you." He said, offering his black furred hand. "Haven't seen one of your kind around. Then again, you probably haven't seen one of mine."

"Nice to meet you, Cerril. My name's Jacob. I'm one of the two personifications of Foederatonis Imperium Aksarben. And I'm just human. The kind of human from my universe, where human DNA was corrupted by radiation and time. Thus the expression of traits that are normally not present in humans, such as tails, fur, and ears." Jacob replied with a nod, accepting the hand and shaking it firmly, making sure to hold back enough to not hurt Cerril's hand by mistake. It would not be a good thing to accidentally break someone's hand when first meeting them after all.
"So.... What are you, then? A species from another planet?"

Yuna pondered the words for a moment. If her friends were like fabric, than Yuna would need to be the stitch, but how? When she held contempt for a few of them already, mostly Torii at the moment. but it wasn't anger. She had feelings to, and if she was supposed to be the peace-maker between them, well, then it'd be quite the job to see done.
"I don't know how."
Four simple words, but they conveyed what she thought of that pretty well.

Suddenly, she popped back up, facing Flint. "You really were beat up bad yesterday. You almost died. I was really worried."

When the bus came to a halt, he hoisted himself out of his seat and made his way down the aisle, down the stairs, and into the street. In front of him was an apartment building that he proceeded into. He sighed, making his way to a couch and placing his things down. He flopped down too, tired from lack of sleep for the past week or so.
"I need more coffee," he muttered under his breath.

I don't know what was going on, but I didn't feel right. Anyway, to store. Hopefully they take national currency..." Flint said a bit off-handedly. She wasn't sure if the stores around here took cartridges as payment like the building did, but it was a national currency that was recognized as such world-wide. Hopefully, they did.

He scanned the various people within line of sight, looking them over both with his human eye and his machine eye. Odd bunch, they had here, he thought, then again... I'm quite odd myself, so I guess I cannot be one to judge. He shrugged, and slowly pulled himself to stand, his legs whirring to pull him to a standing position. Once he was standing, he stretched his human arm, and traveled across the room, tucking the book back into his pocket as he looked at his watch.

With a sudden bright blue and red flash, a rabbit materialized out of thin air and landed with a thump on the back of the sofa. He peered down at Gregory.
Coffee?, he invited, writing with his ears in almost offensively fluorescent colors that hung in the air for a few moments before disappearing. So it was that there was indeed a pot being held up in both paws. You look tired, rumpled man. Have not seen you here before. Come, you must have coffee. Whole pot. Chrys stopped short at the sight of all the people gathered there, some of which she didn't recognize. A lot, actually. One exhausted-looking man on a couch with MB behind him, one very tan and fit-looking Asian, and one with gadgets on his body. Given her recent experiences with MAD SCIENCE during the Carnival, she figured the last man was more of the same, and she wandered over to talk to him. The fabric of the Conservator uniform rustled noisily.
"Hi!" she chimed. "Are you new? There's a ton of newcomers lately. Must be spring, you know. New growth, new residents. I'm Chrys."
