There was indeed coffee, not far to Altito's right. A fresh cup, in fact.
"No. I carry a lot of medicines normally, but only when traveling and none of them for schizophrenia." Tilt shrugged. "None of us knew we'd be traveling, so to speak."

"Hey, this looks great!" he commented. "I like the part about the ferry, too. Hey...that gives me an idea. Do you mind?"
He set himself to scribbling once more.
The ferry was run on sleek, modern ships. With a broad, flat, yet sharp design, they were clearly built for observation as well as transportation. And so it proved; for all that the workers in the Industrial District were bone-tired at the end of each day, they enjoyed seeing the coral reef on their way out. The ships passed in several routes. One to the Industrial District; one to the yacht club's island, and one designated specifically to give a tour of the bay.
Despite their age and smooth, youthful grace, there were certain old-style elements to them. One of those was the penguin figurehead mounted at the bow of each vessel, like one would expect to see on a ship from the Age of Sail.
A little before the second deck sloped down and tapered to a point at the front, there was a large yellow duck painted on each side, echoing the large inflatable duck in Bielefeld harbor. The ferry company had taken it as their own logo, and flew its flag proudly.
Tilt paused and it was at this moment that the Observatory group came in.
"Course we did!" He grinned widely. "How was the flight? Did you see anything exciting?"
