So I finished playing Darksiders II.

First world boss: Awesome.
Second world boss: Cool.
Third world boss: Epic!
Fourth world boss: Not as epic, but I respect this guy.

It seems that some people around in the community still believe that Elfen High is strictly in the "Academy", as in, "everything happens in the school" setting.

I believe we should correct that misconception since, IMHO, it could be the main reason for the influx of RPs which actually take place ONLY in a school.

Myself, I lost the savegame, and I hate myself for that. I made the US and the rest of the world into a better place, without no cheats or anything.

I think my Holy Roman Empire save in Civ IV had a fairly decent world at the end, at least in the Empire. All my future techs had my happiness and health levels coming out the wazoo, and great political freedoms and whatnot. On the other hand, it was a theocratic state that owned all property and started the first war in nearly a millennium, which resulted in it ripping Mali in two, pushing the second-largest nation in the world to ruling a single island off the coast of Australia and completely destroyed the Chinese Empire, so it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

Turkey had to clean up the act to join the EU, and treats them a little more humanely. Ataturk decided pragmatically to let the more peaceful activist groups operate freely, but he pretty much crushed all of the Kurdish militias and guerrillas on Turkish soil.

I believe that the Kurdish language is protected due to EU agreements (they're pretty anal about protecting linguistic minorities, I can testify). Kurdish cultural and ethnic expression is tolerated, if a bit grudgingly. Turkey gave Turkish Kurdistan some symbolic concessions of autonomy, but they're still under the orbit of the central govt in Ankara, and self-rule is still far from being obtained. All in all, it's all done to please the EU.

Many peshmerga and other separatists fled to Iraqi Kurdistan, where they are attempting to rebuild their strength and lick their wounds. Turkey recently barked at Iraq to force Iraqi Kurdistan to hand them over, creating quite a diplomatic headache for everyone involved.
