When do you plan on replying?

If you're all fine with it, I'll have the letter to SP from Venezuela arrive at the conference in Mexico City, once we get onto business. One of the butlers can bring it in when Vicente motions.

I will try to get the letter posted today. I will most likely not take a major decision until I see the results of Santiago

Nope. Because I am pretty sure the conference will publish all the results and points that were discussed. Unless you are keeping it secret.

It will publish everything we want published; you can see that there's no tape recorders or scribes at the conference.

Though we'll probably jointly draft the letter from SP at that conference.

True. That was my point: "Unless you are keeping it secret".

Anyway, my letter will most likely not have any major decision just like the others: As everyone can see in this crisis, both governments have been characterized by being very passive in their decisions. Neither of us want to strike first :P

You said something about having a conference rather than a war and I took the hint.

Oh no. I said that if the US is against me I will just probably ask for a conference instead of going to war.

Yea, I will probably just ask for a meeting then.
