Brief History
Medici has its beginning to the apothecary founded and owned on November 7, 1447 by Guido de Medici in the medieval city of Brutland. Together with his alchemist brother Guglielmo do Medici, he built up his apothecary/pharmacy business. Indeed, their customers included the monarchs of Brutland and Norden, and the various noble houses in the kingdom. Their apothecary was known to provide quality medications and good service.
Guido de Medici’s son, Nicolo, expanded the business into the other parts of the Kingdom. As the Brute Kingdom enlarged, so did the spread of the Medici Pharmacy business. Various branches of the family managed the businesses in various parts of the country, but managed to remain one through the centuries.
The Medici Pharmacy significantly expanded when it bought its competitors in the late 19th century. Patriarch Daniele de Medici sought to modernize the business by restructuring it into a modern company and by opening the ownership and the management to the public. It was listed in the newly-formed Kingsville Stock Exchange in 1890. Up to now, the Medici Group, renamed Medici HealthCare Conglomerate, seeks to expand by acquiring businesses and expanding into other countries.
