Detailed Description: In the city of Atlanta, Georgia, strange things are happening. Overall crime rates are increasing, murder rates are astronomical, and people seem to be acting confused and dazed. No one knows what’s going on, but the Atlanta Police Department, Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Bureau of Investigation have created a new task force to investigate the recent murders. The thing that nobody is prepared for, nobody is ready to handle, is that there’s something else going on. Something that will inevitably cause mass casualties. Something that will shake all of the cities inhabitants to their core and make them struggle to survive.
Alright, so basically, this RP is about a bio-weapon accidentally being released into a city’s water supply. While the concept is similar to zombies, they won’t be limited to zombie stereotypes and the scenario is based off of the film The Crazies, only set in a heavily urbanized setting, and the beginning of the story focusing on law enforcement response.

Yeah, I meant for investigation. Once it is determined to be a biological weapon, the investigation to who did it will be serious.
Also, Atlanta has one of the busiest Airports in the world. I live there, I alone would have spread something like that to Kentucky, Texas, Virginia, Alabama.

Well, you see I am as well. For the back story, the weapon would've been leaked after a military C-130 crashes into Lake Lanier carrying a weapon the military isn't supposed to have, therefore they attempt to cover it up. As for Heartsfield Jackson, you may have a point, and I'll explore that route when it comes to it.

So, for that post-apocalyptic RP that I was talking about a little while ago, how long after the apocalypse should the RP take place? I was originally thinking of having it be ~200 years later, but that would be a bit long. Realistically, I think 30 years would be okay. Opinions / suggestions?

Depends on how apocalyptic you want it. By any measure, people will have rebuilt a lot in 200 years.

Hmm... I mean, personally, I'd guess that something akin to feudalism or dictatorship would have taken root by 50, and likely most people would be back to farming and building.

Well sure, I mean that's what I'm talking about; I don't want to start it too soon, or else there won't be any society. And the society will be a very large part of the RP.
