Despite urging from outside influences not to, we have come to you to help test our game, what better tester then someone who has never encountered any our games before! Not a traditional First Contact, no, but you will not regret this. You out of the current population of humans were selected because of your known interests in sci-fi, fantasy, video games, MMOs and various other factors which made us send you this through your primitive devices like 'email' and 'cellphones'.
The New HoloPlayer should of arrived at your house about an hour after this message was sent. Do not worry, it does not need a power source supplied, it comes with one already built in and will last forever.

The game is called Reverse Universe, an expansive MMO in which you can explore a galaxy that is ever changing and alive! With planets to live and party on, jobs to do, resources to collect, and beings to interact with you'll never get bored! Want to own a business? Be our guest. Party all day and woo your fellows? Sure. Hunt down law breakers? Why not? You decide what your going to be. You will also get the chance to talk and interact with many of the other races currently testing the game as well, good thing our Universal Translator has been updated with human languages.

It is present day (as in 2014) and one day your characters comes homes, checks his/her phone, looks at his/her email to find the above email in their inbox and a small headset which will be sitting our your table, desk, endtable, whatever. When you put this headset on, you will be immersed in the game called Reverse Universe, where you a select number of humans chosen for various likes, interests,
The purpose of the game, whatever you want, wherever you want. Though for RPing purposes, most of the RP will take place in an 'Alpha Star System' with various types of planets, asteroid belts, gas giants and anything the programmers decide they want to try out.
Rules:
1. No God-Modding, Meta-Gaming,
2. OP word is law. Thats me. Any Co-OPs must be listened to as well.
3. No one liners, at all.
4. You may have two characters if you want, one human, the other alien.
5. Swearing and violence is allowed, but keep it PG-13
6. Romance is allowed but keep it PG-13
Things to consider:
The shock of meet aliens is going to happen for just about everyone
Humanity is nothing much in the eyes(?) of all the other races playing the game (since they have achieved interstellar flight while humans haven't even really done anything spectacular except land on the Moon.)
Not all aliens are going to be humanoid.
Equipment:
Aliens can start off with with cars/ big guns/ships/other stuff as they have been playing longer then humans. Pictures of equipment would be cool. There doesn't need to be a common theme.
Humans will start off with basic guns/knives/swords/armor and will have to rely on other player aliens/throwaway characters/their own legs to get around/survive. (Though I will let you decide what you start with, be prepared for it to be scrutinized.)
