The problem with punching things is that the stronger you are, the more damage you cause. I screwed up one of my knuckles a while back when I was angry, everything works fine but it is literally bent out of shape and I can feel it every time I clench my fist.

I keep away from walls, doors and other hard surfaces.

Hit the wall with the "blade" of your hand instead of your knuckles.

This, too, if you must use your hands. If you need to use a fist, use the meaty part of the outside of your hand. It can take a lot more punishment than your palm or your knuckles.
