The possibility of Germans discovering the name is why I'm not going to vote for allusions to King Arthur. I mean, that's just saying "HEY! LOOKY HERE! EXCALIBUR SQUADRON IS PROBABLY ON THIS SHIP!"

Somehow I think that even with the Arthurian connection, a freighter named Camelot or Avalon is going to attract less attention than one named Thunder Child or Retribution.

Besides, as far as Arthurian names it's not like we'd be the only one.

Keep in mind, in terms of the name: the ship's real name is never going to be the one painted on the side. It'll be the name on the SOE's registry and the name we refer to it as.
So attracting attention via the real name isn't a concern.
