Welcome to the small desert town of Oro de Dios, located along the US-Mexico border in southern Texas, along the Rio Grande. This impoverished town has around 2,000 residents in total, most of whom who live in trailers or dilapidated homes. Oro de Dios, or just Oro to its residents, was founded in 1830 by Texan settlers, who discovered the plentiful gold deposits in the surrounding hills and in the Rio Grande. From 1831 to 1961, the town operated 4 large mining operations, which soon fell apart once the deposits were depleted. Despite the opening of a small oil field and refinery in 1935, Oro was hit hard by the collapse of their mining industry. As a result, around 75% of its residents lost their jobs, and Oro's population of 10,000 people plummeted to 3,000 people, as most of their residents went North in order to look for work. 40% of the residents of the town are unemployed, while the rest work at the oil fields, the oil refinery, or in the nearby cities of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, which are 50 miles northwest of Oro.

Due to the high amount of poverty in Oro, crime is rampant in the small town. Oro is known for its drug production, with many people growing marijuana in hydroponic setups in their homes or greenhouses, or producing meth in their homes. Most of the products are transported south of the border, into Mexico. Gun running is also a profitable industry in Oro, with the locals running guns down to the Mexican cartels. As a result of the thriving criminal enterprises in Oro, the town has been enthralled in the Mexican Drug War, with the cartels active in the town. The local police force, with its 10 men, is a corrupt institution, with most, if not all, of its personnel receiving bribes from the cartels or the locals.

You must have messed up bad in order to end up in Oro, stranger. You'll find nothing but blood and sand in these parts, since there's no more gold. But hey, it's your funeral.

If anyone is interested in making a map, here's some background information about Oro's geographic location.

- Oro is located in southwestern Texas.
- Oro is 50 miles southeast of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez.
- Oro is located along the US-Mexican border, along the Rio Grande.
- Oro is located in a small valley, surrounded by hills on one side, and the Rio Grande on the other.
- Oro is a relatively small town, with 2 moderately-sized trailer parks, 1 main road that contains the local businesses and local government, a highway that runs past the town, and another road that leads to the local airfield, the oil field, and the refinery, which are located 1 mile southeast of Oro.
- Oro also has a railroad that runs nearby, and it is used primarily by the oil field to transport oil.

- Landry's Hardware, local hardware store.
- The Coyote's Den, local bar and grill that most of the locals frequent.
- Farber's General Store, local general outfitter and supermarket.

- Rio Grande Lodgings, motel primarily used by those who are desperate enough to stop in town. In the same area as George's Truck Stop.
- George's Truck Stop, truck stop with a McDonald's and an Exxon, along with a mechanic shop.

- Shady's, local liquor store, deli, gas station, and convenience store.
- President Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar Airport, also known as President Lamar "International", local town airfield serving smaller aircraft.

Boothe and Associates - Although not an official name, since Boothe has refrained from officially naming his criminal organization, this organization has carved out a sizable portion of the drug and weapons trade in Oro. Founded by former Army Major Elliot Boothe, the group produces meth and brings in drugs from the Mexican cartels while also smuggling military-grade munitions into Mexico, in exchange for cash. With around 35 members, it is a decently-sized organization and prefers that each of its members know how to use a gun. Around 15 of the members of the organization have served in the military, while the others are skilled at cooking meth and smuggling. The organization also pays dues to the corrupt PD of Oro. Their base of operations is at the Coyote's Den

Road Agents MC - A local Southwest Texas biker gang, the Road Agents had once called Oro home, until Elliot Boothe and his associates ran them out of town. The Road Agents are heavily involved in the drug and arms trade, though their influence in the region has been depleted severely following a brutal war with Boothe, as well as by smaller gangs looking to take turf from the Road Agents. Their current base is at The Last Round, a bar on the outskirts of El Paso. Currently, the El Paso Chapter has 60 members.

Oro de Dios Police Department - The ODPD serves as the local law enforcement organization for Oro. Believe it or not, but most of the 10 officers of the ODPD are corrupt, taking bribes and such from the local criminal elements in the town. Being a small police department in the desert, the ODPD has no SWAT team, though they do have an assortment of assault weapons that have been purchased or gathered from busts. Most of the officers are local hicks who have their hands deep in the drug trade, and they have around 5 reserve officers. The "specialty" elements of the ODPD would have to be their ability to utilize a small number of horses for rough terrain, as well as the small Cessna 175 airplane at Lamar International.

They don't expect to sell high-tech stuff, in fact, the Overkill Operatives here are mainly armed with AR-15's and SIG-553 civilian rifles, as they know that the towns police department is pathetic, and even through they are named Overkill, they are merciful.

As Johnny pulled his ODPD cruiser up to the scene of the incident. "Alright, you idiots managed to get 911 called on you, how bad is it and do you have the money to clean it up?" asked Johnny when he arrived. One of the bikers approached "They were askin' for it, come o-" he started before Johnny cut him off "I honestly don't give a shit what happened. Either pay up or we'll put you in the drunk tank for a while". The leader then stepped up "Alright, here's 500 down, we'll get the rest to you later". "Alright, fair enough" said Johnny, before telling them they could leave and starting to drag the bodies to the street.
"Officer Harrell, we got a possible hit and run on the road out by that shooting call, which is code 4, by the way. Backup clearing the bodies would be appreciated. 4 victims, suspected illegals" he said over the radio. After about 5 minutes, another ODPD cruiser came around, and they got out and approached Johnny. "This looks like a hit and run to me, how about you guys?" he asked, while handing the down payment from the bikers over to them. "Yep, sounds about right to me' one of them replied. They loaded two of the bodies per cruiser in before driving off. Johnny dropped the bodies off at the ODPD station, before driving off and picking up his radio. "This is Harrell, available for calls" he said, before driving off into Oro.

He attached the suppressor to it and smirked as he started getting ready for his next robbery. Knives, Grapple hooks, balaclavas, night vision goggles, tear gas, gloves, whatever he whatever he would need to to get through it. He grabbed a map of the building and studied it thoroughly, circling the spots of entry, exitry, and where his getaway car would be. He thought this through completely, as this is what made him so successful. He put all this in a duffle bag, and walked outside and through it into his van. and shut the doors. He rested against the truck, and watched a drunk walk by. "What a city" He said to himself as he through his cigarette down and jumped into the van.

He smacked the wheel causing the horn to go off then tried again and this time the car worked. "Ha Ha!" He was happy he finally got the old piece of crap moving and he drove off and looked at the neighborhoods, knowing they would get worse as the night goes on. He stopped in a vacant parking lot and jumped in the back and turned on a lantern and ran through the bag and grabbed his balacava and put it on. He put on leather gloves as well, then grabbed his m9 and knife, his night vision goggles and tear gas and walked towards the small building and starting climbing through a window then dropped down and looked around and wandered around, he turned on his goggles and walked to a door, he hit it twice and waited.. Nothing.. he then kicked down the door and heard voices. He stayed and waited, hoping the door didn't make a sound...
