140mm high pressure gun and it weighs less then 50 tonnes? I know you only have two crew, but the room taken up by a person isn't that much.

Fuel/HP consumption should be the same. Although I except with such an advanced tank, it would use a modern engine with high fuel efficiency as well as a strong APU to prevent idling.

Just pivot an Abrams-style hatch to horizontal position, and you'll be able to see out of the slits.
