This band sounds so much like Dissection that it's scary. Of course, that's a very good thing.

Not technically. Being a carbon copy of another band isn't entirely a good thing.

They're not really a carbon copy, but they have a very similar vibe. Dissection is one of those bands that has a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and they only released two albums before their vocalist/songwriter died, both of which are very special to me. To find a band that can pull off the Dissection sound almost as well as DIssection themselves is an amazing discovery for me. Besides, Vinterland's only album was released only one year after Dissection's debut (1995), it just never got the same recognition. They were both a product of the same 90s Swedish melodic black metal scene, so it's not like Vinterland is a modern band re-hashing Dissection.

Vinterland - "Wings of Sorrow"

Dark Horse by Katty Perry and Juicy J.
Are you ready for
Ready for
A perfect storm
Perfect storm
Cause once you're mine
Once you're mine
There's no goin' back

Probably the best Katy Perry song. So many of her songs sound like feminist propaganda.

Candlemass-A Sorcerer's Pledge

If you liked those two, try their next two albums "Ancient Dreams" and "Tales of Creation"

Their best album with the new vocalist in 2007's "Death Magic Doom"

Between their golden early era (first 4 albums, 1986-89) and their recent revival (2005-present), they had a few albums where they experimented with other genres. You're free to check them out but I don't personally recommend them.
