Nations of the World,
We of the Constitutional Monarchy of Repulaea are pleased to extend our hand in peace to the greater international stage by officially opening our international embassy program. Previously, our international embassy program consisted only of the members of our continental alliance COSPN. Since the vast internationalization of Repulaea in recent years, we have been able to expand our horizons and in doing so we intended to foster peace and prosperity throughout all the world. Therefore, the Repulaean Ministry of Foreign Affairs happily welcomes all international delegates to join with us in this venture by establishing an official diplomatic consulate in Repulaea. We eagerly await your applications and hope that our future dealings are both amicable and mutually beneficial.
Eliot Tash
Minister of Foreign Affirs
The capital of Repulaea, Ancot, named for President Arthur Ancot, Repulaea's first chief executive, is the heart and soul of Repulaean affairs, both national and international. The large city of two and a half million residents is home to the Presidential Estate, the Congressional Chambers and all ministerial headquarters and well as the headquarters for the Compact Organization of Sovereign Predum Nations (COSPN), the chief international body that binds together the four nations of the continent of Predum. It is comprised of Repulaea, Euneia, Silvion and Serany. This international alliance is central to all Predum affairs and is an organization that prides itself on the maintenance of peace and mutual understanding.
All foreign Eambassies are located in the Embassy Gardens just four blocks west of the Congressional Chambers and Monument Circle, the home of many of Repulaea's most famous national memorials. Situated in an idyllic beautiful suburb just shy of the tourist bustle of the city's center, the Embassy Gardens are based primarily on Leonad Avenue, a direct route towards the Presidential Estate. It is a apt symbol of Repulaea's openness toward the prospect of international friendship and goodwill.
Popular Attractions
Grant Pavilion
Founded by former President Osthisia Grant in 1981 as an international cultural center, the Grant Pavilion entertains foreign envoys and politicians frequently and hosts some of the most popular exhibits of fine art and music in the country. Pop culture and classical artists from all over the continent frequent the Pavilion to perform for dignitaries, the Summer Sky outdoor concert being a particular favorite for visiting emissaries ever June.
Ambassadorial Palace
The Ambassadorial Palace draws its name from the 18th century tradition of Queen Esthia I who constructed a special palace in the city of Norslem for her foreign visitors. This modern structure in Ancot has a similar purpose. It frequently hosts banquets and concerts for foreign dignitaries and acts as a cultural medium for the many national envoys Repulaea hopes to welcome into the country.
Drako Concert Hall
The famous Repulaean architect Maxwell Drako opened his concert hall in 1944 and it has been entertaining thousands of guests every year since. Undergoing a totally modernized renovation in 2002 (during which it still hosted multiple venues), the Drako Concert Hall is now one of the most popular attractions in the Embassy Gardens. Hundreds of concerts occur at this famous center of music year round.
Repulaean National History Museum
Likely the most famous museum in Repulaea, the Repulaean National History Museum, which opened its doors in 1947, houses the largest single collection of historical artifacts in the country, many of the exhibits even featuring pre-11th century nomadic artifacts. Though tecnically not within the bounds of the Embassy Gardens, the museum is frequently visited by foreign visitors and is currently the most visited museum in Repulaea next to the Royal Aerospace Museum at far the southeast end of the city.
