DCA remains as the regulatory body for the airports and aviation industry in Malaysia whilst the newly created entity, Perbadanan Lapangan Terbang Negara (National Airports Corp.), was established in 1992 to focus on the operations, management and maintenance of airports. Temenggung Jugah International (IATA: JUI, ICAO: TJUH) is an international airport located serving Tanjung Laksamana, a capital city aof Tongkang Pechah. The airport is located 7km southwest of Tanjung Laksamana. It is Tongkang Pechah's busiest airport, with both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter traffic for the offshore Teluk Karimon oil installations. In addition, the Tongkang Pechah Air Force operates search and rescue helicopters from Jugah Air Station. Temenggung Jugah International has five passenger terminals, one for domestic routes and four for international. It was the first airport in Tongkang Pechah to have skybridges.
