mmkay! I can have Sterling tell about Hearth's Warmings Eve probably.
The Khydir might be confused about everything and sitting by himself shivering from the cold and wet(he doesn't handle he cold very well obviously)
Jacob and Albert: I dunno. Chatting in Latin about something or another? They don't know Ceril but know well enough to not talk about anything with others right now.
Octavian might be sulking about having his vacation be cut short like it was.....
Sig.... I don't know what he'd do. Probably be waiting around for something to happen or chatting with the group.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

If push comes to shove, break out Misaki. She can be the one doing Christmas dinner. Revive/Save Naomi as you want. Swith. Well, you know my feelings on that character. It's up to you. If you don't kill her off by Christmas Eve, I'm retiring her. I only kept her for a specific reason.
Alrighty, I'm off to scrub the counters. Goodnight Peeps!

Character Species: Cat
Character Physical Description (height, weight, apparent age, actual age):
About ten inches tall when on all fours and facing straight ahead. Weighs 14.5 pounds. Brown tabby. Appears to be an adult cat. Is 6 years old. Head is somewhat larger than that of a typical cat of his size.
URL to Character Picture, if any:
Character Unique Skills(if any): Can pick relatively simple locks if he can actually reach them and has a tool, such as his claws, which will work. Can hide very well. Can use the Internet. Can navigate busy streets, which is an accomplishment in light of his size.
Character Powers (if any): Is sentient and intelligent (originally under skills, but neither are learned.) IQ is about 110. Can communicate through touch-"telepathy" by sending signals through nerves. Can sense things coming a few minutes in advance, but only feels the emotions which the event will cause him to have.
Character Weaknesses/Flaws: Is very lazy. Is less than a foot tall (almost 2 feet when standing on hind legs with forelegs fully extended.). Oversized head makes moving somewhat awkward-he loses his balance easily-, though he's learned to compensate to some extent. Paws are not prehensile.
Character Background/Biography:. Frankly, no one knows. He randomly woke up in a dark basement with no memories beyond infancy and a large appetite. Fortunately, his instincts remained functional, and there were some mice in said basement. He eventually left the building in question, and got picked up by the local animal shelter. As cats dislike cages, he eventually figured out how to open the lock. He then wandered around for awhile, occasionally getting picked up by shelters and hence honing his lock- picking skills and, due to interaction, picking up basic English. Once, someone adopted him before he left. He ended up talking to one of the family members (see powers) resulting in them freaking out, being really annoying, and attempting to dissect him. Fortunately, the minor precognition kicked in and he was able to duck when an attempt was made to grab him. He then ran out. He had started to understand written language by this time, and eventually, after watching someone using a computer, he got on and did some research. He confirmed what he had already started to supect: being sentient was abnormal for animals. He also found a site stating that there was a city-state where many highly abnormal things happened and abnormal creatures lived. There was no evidence that the site was accurate, but he decided to try and find said location in the hope of eventual acceptance, and, you know, maybe getting to talk to someone who wouldn't freak out. By stowing away on planes and a few cars, he got pretty close to Bielefeld; he then traveled the remainder of the way on foot. Well, paw. He then spotted someone very odd looking, and followed them to the apartment building.
Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation:See above/Sleeping, eating, meowing, sleeping some more, and thinking.
URL to Apartment Picture: N/A at present as he's basically going to be living in the halls and sleeping under the stairs.

IMPORTANT:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details: Nick is a sentient, intelligent, very lonely, awkward, and lazy cat with a few minor powers. He has problems trusting others but is an optimist despite everything he's been through.
(I know that this is semi-open and technically I should TG for entry; however, Cerillium suggested that I check out this thread.)

SITREP CURRENT CONDITIONS:
New Day We've done a time transition. It's now morning and the storm has passed. There's a large yacht anchored near the cave. Current description here. Please don't waste a lot of time RPing this inside the cave. Ogoti's the anchor. Get your characters down the line and to the water's edge so Sig can pick them up. He'll make trips to get them to the yacht. People will pull them on board. Feh. Sleepy. I'll be on in the afternoon. This is mainly for anyone who logs on before I do. Christmas dinner will either be in a new pavilion or on the yacht. It'll probably happen Wed night after Swiths' family's gone. |

Good to see you again Fvaar!
This character works. Bear in mind that you don't want it touching some of the other characters: telepathically linking to chaotic insanity would cripple your character. I know your play style so let's give this character a try.
Accepted.
We're in the middle of a story. What I can do (if you're going to be online today and Christmas) is add him to the boat group. (Don't touch the cultists. Those are the chaotically insane ones.) We can say that someone grabbed him before the battle broke out in Bielefeld and thus he's just earned himself a nice vacation on a tropical island (which has just been hit by a typhoon.) The boat was just introduced here. Let me know if this works. He'd most likely have been stuck in a pet carrier for his safety but other characters can let him out once they've been rescued. He'd have no knowledge of how he got in the carrier or on the boat.
