What are the Gun Rights or Lack of there of like in your nation, and how is the society effected as a result of these previously mentioned Gun Issues?

In JJ Place, there are absolutely no restrictions placed by the government on guns; guns can often be found being sold freely (no, not for free, but without restrictions) in most Mega-Marts or even in smaller stores. A heavily armed society is a happy society, as well as an incredibly safe society.

Everybody who will or does use a gun legally and responsibly has one. Everybody who wouldn't or doesn't, does not have one. In Soviet Russia, guns make you!

The Swiss policy is adopted in our country. It is illegal to NOT own one machinegun (equivilant to three rifles or six handguns).

However, thanks to the Commune Act of 1996, weapons may be purchased collectively by a community and stored in the local branch of the People's Militia under tight lock and key. Because of this youth related crimes are crippling since the adults are taught to not shot unarmed people, so the kids go crazy at times, These youth's are usually from the more liberal families in the nation that have not properly taught their children proper respect for a person or property. Otherwise its ok because criminals do not dare commit a crime upon people for the fear that every person within earshot will level their service issue M1911A1 at them.Burglaries and such do happen. Crimes of Passion are rare since Duels are allowed for Honor sake.

Well, sub machine guns are considered Assault weapons as defined by my nations charter.
And they don't have to be In their hands. The Surgeons manage.
Plus, the time period my nation takes place in is less than 5 years after a brutal civil war, almost everyone is a veteran, and the punishment for breaking that law is only deportation.

We have a socialized gun system. Every Union citizen can get at least one firearm of their choice along with as much ammo as they need. We have no restrictions on weapons, which means as long as you take your mandatory socialized safety and training course you can get whatever kind of gun you want. However, different weapons require different safety and training courses. Everyone may also conceal their weapons if they wish. Because everyone is armed, nobody shoots each other because they know they'll get shot at back. We have no crime at all in the Union, much less violent crime. The people here work together rather than shoot at each other.

Pretty much anything you can carry is allowed, though full auto weapons and anything with a caliber .45 or higher needs to be registered. Only adults may purchase (18+) though any are allowed to carry (13 and under requires parental supervision). Violent felons are not allowed weapons, but since we make considerable use of the death penalty thats not much of an issue. Gun safety is taught throughout school. Obviously weapons are not allowed for civilians on most government property.
