Well, it's possible to do word plays, but those aren't really as easily integrated into conversations as puns are. I'll give you an example.

- "Kokko, kokoo kokoon koko kokko!"
- "Koko kokkoko?"
- "Koko kokko."

That's a legit conversation. Anyone want to gues what it means?

I've also had a long-ish text message conversation with a friend of mine where we both only used words starting with "K". It was fun.

But Chinese, there is a giant poem composed entirely of different pronounciations of si, which, in different tones and contexts, can mean lion, wet, stone, four, death, poo, to rip, ten, sturdy and try, as well as probabl more I can't think of. As Chinese has no articles, tenses or stuff, it works quite well
