Yet another time, the world had ended, one way or the other, even if not physically destroyed. The land was in ruins, over run by the undead hordes of the Mongols, of America or of the Red Army, brought there for that purpose; to end the world so that the cycle may continue. All the nations inhabiting the world and their people, and of course, personifications destroyed. The latter were heading for the afterlife, once more, after experiencing death yet again-or the first time for some.
Or were they? England sat on a chair in the strange afterlife the personifications inhabited. Russia, America, China and the Mongol Empire had joined him, now finished with bringing about the end of the previous world. "I think that our descendants and acquaintances would be displeased with us about now." He began, the others there nodding in agreement. "And perhaps not altogether willing to listen to explanation, which they might not be happy with even should we give it."
Japan cleared his throat, having just joined in Englands little meeting. "So what exactly do you want to do, then?" He inquired, still with a slightly reproachful tone of voice; he hadn't fully agreed to the necessity of this. Some others had felt the same, though most had eventually agreed to it, and the more willing candidates were sent forward to see to it's fulfilling.
"I suggest we hasten along their arrival into the next world, instead of meeting with them here, so we don't have to deal with it." He said. This started up some chatter among the nations, some agreeing and some disagreeing to it. America was particularly vocal, as usual. "Why? I'm sure they'll understand when we explain!" 'Not to mention still thick-headed', England thought. "Enough!" He said. "They'll be here soon, and most of us are in favour of this, so this is what will happen. If you really want to, you can go visit them some time later."
"One thing." Germany began. He'd not been altogether in favour of the destruction, though hadn't particularly been opposed either. "Since we've gone and destroyed their work, I suggest we cut them some slack and leave them with their hard-earned technology at the very least." He proposed. An idea which would be helpful to the new nations, no doubt, and the others were in agreement.
So rather than the new world nations arriving where their predecessors now lived out their own daily lives, they would instead be taken to the their new homes, once more, arriving in whatever lands were theirs, with all the access to the needed levels of technology as they desired.
