The United Duchies of Fedeledland feels honoured to declared its opening of an embassy programme. I am pleased to announce, as the Doge of the United Duchies, said opening, and offer salutations and good relationships with any nation that wishes to establish an embassy and diplomatic relationships with Fedeledland in hopes of a new, more glorious relationship between the two nations.

Fedeledland, after a long period of isolationism, is now coming out into the light of diplomatic relationships. Any nation that so wishes to help Fedeledland become a member of the international stage might do so by filling in the sheet further below.

(TDLR; behave nicely, don't use a lot of military personnel, you can freely use Fedeledlandese services, we WILL persecute you for any offenses to Fedeledland not excused by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your nation)

I. All ambassadors are to be established in the name of peace. This means that no excessive military force shall be used within the Fedeledlandese frontiers and that if a military exercise or incident happens it must be immediatly and thoroughly explained to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Any act of agression towards Fedeledland will result in an expulsion of the embassy, although the Fedeledlandese government assures that in the case this happens the diplomatic personnel will be allowed to leave safely and without any inconvenient, and protected and escorted by the state's army.

II. All diplomatic personnel shall be given partial diplomatic immunity. Even though Fedeledland is not a member of the World Assembly, it has promised to uphold World Assembly Resolution #22 in concerns to diplomatic immunity. The one exception to this is Fedeledland WILL prosecute diplomats that have commited crimes during their term of service when the diplomatic immunity is revoked, and Fedeledland will reserve the right to search diplomats' property for anything breaking any of the conditions.

III. The territories within the embassies shall be considered the sovereign territory of said applicant nation under Fedeledlandese jurisdiction. Local civil laws will be upholded within the embassy and if the embassy chooses to agree, it will be able to hold refugees without any repercussion from Fedeledland's part.

IV. Diplomatic personnel and locals will be required to follow Fedeledlandese civil law as soon as they leave the embassy's grounds. His/her local laws will not apply at all outside of the embassy's territory and there will be no excuse for breaking Fedeledlandese law (although diplomatic immunity still prevails).

V. Fedeledlandese culture as well as civil law must be respected outside of the embassy. Derogatory terms that might be commonplace somewhere else (such as the term "Lolo" referring to the Lombards, used in Aram as simple slang but an extremely insulting term in Fedeledland proper) will not be tolerated any more that they would with a Fedeledlandese civil.

VI. While there is not a limit to either bureaucratic, mantainence or diplomatic personnel, military personnel is to be the size of a platoon at the most. The host, if its large enough, will only be able to have light firearms (defined in Fedeledland as handguns and hunting rifles) and white arms (non-firearms). For smaller hosts, rifles of larger calibers will be allowed. In the case of a consulate, the military personnel is to be the size of a section or patrol at the most, while the other personnel shall be limited to 20 each. These are to be very lightly armed. Land vehicles have no official limit, but it is more likely you won't be accepted if you bring non-civil vehicles or too many of them.

VII. All weapons within an embassy will be strictly registered and inspectioned by the Department of Defence before being allowed into the nation. Heavy firearms, laser and plasma guns, WMDs and other such weapons shall not be allowed without explicit permission by Parliament, the Department of Defence and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

VIII. Embassies are free and welcome to use the local work force. However, if they are to hire Fedeledlandese, they are to abide by the Fedeledlandese laws of wages, work hours and conditions. They are free from following these rules if the workers do not have Fedeledlandese citizenship as long as the conditions are seen as "humane" by the Fedeledlandese Department of Work.

IX. Fedeledlandese institutions (schools, hospitals, et cetera) can be freely used by diplomatic personnel. The personnel also are entitled to all Fedeledlandese rights.

X. The diplomatic personnel will be able to remain in their full rights no matter what in the case of a diplomatic crisis until the moment of breaking off relations; then, they shall be safely escorted back to their home country.

XI. While hate speech shall not be stopped within an embassy, if the embassy actively discriminates against a member of the staff or a citizen of Fedeledland for his or her race, religion, sexual orientation, species, or other, the government in charge of the embassy shall be given an immediate message of complaint and the dismissal of the ambassador locally shall be requested.

XII. Consulates might be established alongside an embassy; if no embassy is requested, the consulate might ask to either be the direct representation or answer to a friendly state to that of the applicant.

XIII. No authority of the Fedeledlandese government can go into the embassy without given permission.

XIV. Any rule broken in the application will lead to a rejection and the request of a revision; if this happens three different times, the applying state need not apply anymore. If any of the conditions is broken while an embassy is functioning, a complaint will be filed, following, if recurring, to the expulsion of the embassy from Fedeledlandese soil.

Local ambassadors shall be located in the capital of the United Duchies, New Florence, while consuls shall be allowed to be established in any city of the nation (although are most recommended in the cities of Florence, Ayr, Byzantium, Pietari, Bukhara, Alexandria, Babylon or Parsa as the capitals of the local duchies). New Florence's old cask was built around the year 1610 AD when it became obvious Florence was too small a city to rule such a large empire. It soon became the house of the King, but Parliament only moved there by 1715. New Florence (ISO: NOF) was then partially re-built in 1965 so to make it more modern and impressive. Even today, the modern buildings are considered striking, although many old ones still exist. It is the capital of all United Duchies, located some 35-50 kilometers down the Arno from Florence, and has a population of some 3 million. It is considered one of the "wonders of modern architecture" with "its both old and new different parts".

Firenze or Florence is the capital of Fedeledland Proper although no real government control is shown there. Founded during Roman times as Fiorentia, it became the capital of the Florentine Republic which would later become the United Duchies. Florence is the heart and soul of the Florentine Rennaisance, and most of its architecture reflects that. However, Florence continues to be a vibrant and modern city in several places. Consulates are open in the Julia, Augusta and Borgia streets.

Byzantium or Constantinople is the capital of Fedeledia (Rome). Established in Greek classical times, it has changed hands several times due to its geographic position. The city offers a patchwork of buildings from different eras, which include classical, Roman, Greek Christian, Slav, Medinan and modern designs. It is considered one of the places with the largest architectural difference. Consulates are open in the Konstantinos, Theodosios and Theodora streets.

Pietari or Saint Petersburg is the capital of Suomi-Novogrod. It was built by emperor Peter the Great in the year 1702 so to establish a new city more centrally located. This boosted the population of modern Izhorians and Votes. The modern architectural design is mostly an impressive patchwork of Enlightenment architecture with a heavy amount of modern architecture. Consulates are open in the Peter, Aleksis and Inkeri Streets.

First built in the 500 BCs, and then rebuilt over a millenia afterwards, Babylon (officially Babylon-Ctesiphon-Seleucia-Veh Ardashir or BCSA) is the capital of Aram. It shows a prominent revivalist design together with Western incorporations, mostly within religious buildings. It also has the impressive Hanging Gardens and the even more impressive Shimun's Palace and Agbar's Palace. Streets are open for consulates in the Kaldi, Shimun, Agbar and Afrêm streets.

Alexander the Great built his namesake city, Alexandria, in Egypt. It grew to one of the largest cities in the world before slightly going into obscurity and then reviving as the capital of Kimit. It boasts of a mostly Alexandrian and Egyptian Revivalist architecture, although until today it is still growing and expanding. Streets are open in the Remetkemi, Ptolemy and Thutmosis streets.

Rayy, Tehran or Bandar-e-Shah is a city founded in ancient times, and revamped by Emperor Bahram IX of the Mihranid Empire in 985, stating that when the city was completed, it would make every city in existance look like only a sand town It contains impressive imperial buildings such as the Temple to Ormazd, measuring more than a street block and taking some 75 years to finish. Consulates are open on the Zarathustra, Shapur and Vahram streets.

Bukhara founded in the mythical past, has a history of the crossroad of Eastern and Western cultures. It has been the capital of several kingdoms, most recently Bujara in Central Asia. Although it has a mostly Persian populace, it also has heavy Turkic, Eastern and Western populations, and their architecture reflects so. It would be hard to find a major linguistic group without architectural representation in Bukhara. Consulates are available in the Shah, Vasílios and Nestorios streets.
