The Swords & Shields of the Principality
-Under Construction-
OOC: format credit to New Azura
From the complete annihilation of Marcus Confederacy in the Grand Experiment to the unification of diverse states that formed the current Principality in the Great Light Storm, the swords and shields of the Principality had evolved from simple devices into a line of highly versatile, adaptive and multi-purpose equipments. Such rapid developments had also helped to actively shape the component states of the Principality to how they're now, each according to their own doctrines and philosophies, in indirect or direct means. The fast technology race was said to be initiated by the sense of insecurities felt by each component states from interacting with each other though they had yet to seen an extra-terrestrial threat, and due to their own agendas to project their influences and dominance. Nevertheless the arms race is a dynamic one as the component states would practically do anything within their power to get a better tool in defending themselves or to gravely hurt their neighbours, although the creation of Principality superstate over them strings a series of uneasy mutual pacts between themselves.

The Sohonzi State
Reliability and cheapness is the game of the Sohonzi state, that seek to make any war efforts joined by them to be profitable as much as plausible. The state prefers old-age ballistic weaponry adapted for use in space while Rhamus-class are justified for being useful for trades and logistics and Nehze-class justified as a 'spending splurge' to economically hurt enemy space assets as much as plausible.
The Gauis State
Contrary to the Sohonzi State, the Gauis State are willing to burn billions upon billions of credits for using top-of-the-line weaponry. Adopting an elitist view on armaments, the state argued using energy weapons are far more cheaper in the long run though maintenance is still a problem not yet solved. Gauis State uses extremely powerful directed energy weaponry such as the Moerl-class and the Ethyle-class, in favour of high initial alpha and lighting fast attack to solve battles quickly.
The Aizilti State
Aizilti State takes a different approach compared to Gauis State and Sohonzi State; unwilling to lose and to spend, the thrifty Aizilti State tend to prefer multi purpose equipments such as the Tizinka-class Hybrid Coilguns as an example. A highly adaptive state, the Aizilti State would go as far as in stealing enemy vessels that they can get their hands on to further fuel their war efforts.
The Haralci State
The Haralci State posses high level of industrial capacity and this made them preferring to use quick and simple to build equipments while leaning toward mass production. Railguns are staple weapon trademark of the state which bases most of its equipments from industrial machines in order to save cost from doing expensive and lengthy research. Although the quality of the state's armaments are somewhat questionable sometimes, the sheer speed and amount of such devices being churned out makes up for the weakness.
