Urran wrote:There was a soft knock on Jacob's door. Blossom was worried about him, he needed to eat and get out of his room and get some fresh air. She was determined to get him up and about again.

"Uh...... What?" Jacob moaned quietly. HE rolled over to look at the door, which was on the opposite corner of the room from the door to his reading room, wondering who could possibly be there. He wanted to wallow in his depression and regret more. Actually, it was more like he was afraid to leave in case people now hated him for what he had done. He pulled the covers over his head, only exposing his dog ears to the open air, in an attempt to hide from the outside world.

Albert shrugged. "I feel better than I did earlier, that is for sure. My tail feels a bit stiff, but that might just be from sleeping awkwardly on it." Albert replied. Albert briefly wondered if Ray was worried about him, but assumed his boyfriend was very worried, but just had been asked to go do other things while his boyfriend was in a comatose state, so as to not neglect his health as well. That put a small smile on Albert's lips, as he thought of how emotional his boyfriend seemed to get at times, and that just made Albert love him all the more. "So you are a musician, Misaki?" He wasn't sure what else to talk about with the woman.

Blossom shrugged and walked away and took the food with her. If Jacob didn't want it, then he wouldn't get it. She went back to bed since all of her chores were done.

"Pshh, and you think my parents wouldn't? They'd take the skin off of all of our bones if they found out I was in this much danger again. I don't think we can go straight back to my room as well, our parents have probably already checked there for us." Rachelle huffed, feeling safer within the boundaries. She liked the statues, looking at them as she spoke. "Siduer better be alright, say, when we get back, where should we ask to end up?"

"Oh, I suppose that makes sense. Jacob has not been a fighter for a very long time. Not since the Revolution, really. It took a lot of the fight out of him to see our people fighting each other so viciously..... So something was telling him to do that?" He gathered that from the last thing she had said, seeing as she had said something about his actions being spurred by others. He took the tea and sipped it politely. His nation had a population of people descended from the Britannic tribes, who even in his universe had a taste for tea. Some things are constant between most universes after all. So he had a bit of a taste for tea, but he always preferred wine.

"The rec room, most definitely," Sydney suggested. "We can put on a movie and oh my gosh!"

Siduer ran towards them at full speed, his heels kicking up pebbles and dust as he bolted. He skidded to a stop. "He's... right... behind... me," the boy gasped between breaths.

"Hidden thoughts did," Miskai replied to Ablert. "Deeply seeded ones stirred to life."

She rose and subtly adjusted her kimono. "I leave you in peace. I was only to stay until you awakened. We've notified Ray that you're conscious and yourself again."

"Well, thank you for that. And for the tea. It was lovely." Albert complimented, handing the now empty cup to the woman. "I'll wait here for Ray then. Until them, I might just rest my eyes. But please thank Swith for the help. It was very kind of her to help me." He sat up a bit more to give a small bow, while remaining under the covers. He was going to talk to Jacob later about what had prompted the sudden attack, but for now he might as well relax in a comfy bed while waiting for his boyfriend.

"Hmm, what movie then?" Rachelle asked. Sydney's answer would probably wait though, at the timely arrival of her brother to the group. They might have been all together now, but he claimed to be followed, and that was reason for panic. They would need to get out quickly, she assumed. "Well!? Let's get out of here then! How do we do that anyways?"

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

She was trying to think of what to say. Katya was used to Yoshi's usual style, and this one seemed strange to her. What should she say?

"It's not so bad....I guess I'm just used to your...usual style. So, Swith has you keeping it like this?"

"I-It's okay..I'm not crazy about it either, you can always tell me what you think...oh, she thinks that it makes it too easy for me to hide from the world; s-so I have to keep it like this for a whole week." He nodded to Dora and in a surprising twist of events, hugged her then went and wrapped his arms around Katya's waist. He leaned in and whispered in Katya's ear. "H-have you told her yet?"

"Not yet. I was going to up here, though.", She replied. "Do you think I should?"

Of course, thinking about it made her anxious, but she had to tell sometime. She'd rather tell Dora, than have her figure it out herself.

Around this time, knocking could be heard emitting from the door. Ray simply wished to make his presence be known first, and therefore felt that knocking might be a good bet to avert any unwanted entry times.

Sydney squealed and tried to twist out of his grip. "Filthy daemon traitor," she spat at him. "Filthy traitor scum!"

Siduer, already out of breath, uttered a hoarse scream. The foo dogs weren't working. They were supposed to protect, to spring to life and snatch up any who wished harm. They protected the innocent. And it hit him. They'd come to Japan without permission... breaking a hundred million bazillion parent laws in the process. The dogs wouldn't protect them because they were naughty children.

"FFFUUUUUUCK!" He focused his energy and opened a Vortex of Doom.

"Oh god, Oh god!" Rachelle squirmed under Toshi's grasp, having realistically no chance of survival, but that's what her first parents had said of the Drones, and she survived them, although Rylli wasn't there though . . . She could obviously be so much help. Of course, she knew nothing of the dogs or what they could do, and frankly, didn't care anymore. Whatever they could have done, didn't happen.

Yeah right. She thought, realizing this was probably the end for her . . .

In the interim, after Yoshi had hugged her (drawing a lift of a coppery eyebrow), Dora had wandered to the edge to have a smoke. Clearly the two had wanted privacy.

She lit up, and glanced down the block, then across the roof.

Tiltjuice wrote:"Well, of course," Chrys smiled as Hans walked off. When he returned, she didn't blink, as her user wasn't quite sure if there was anything to cause her to blink. At the moment though, there was a handy excuse for this, as she was petting her sword in a rather eyebrow-raising manner, not knowing Hans had returned.

Hans regarded her strange behavior. He was torn between brushing it off or else trying to recapture the moments before the Naked Fairy's arrival.

"Thank you for bringing me here, Chrys," he smiled to her. He set his hand on her shoulder and leaned forward to mimic the gesture she'd offered to him prior.

It would have been flawlessly executed if a child's hand hadn't latched onto his collar. The energy arced due to his physical contact with the Conservator. Both were hauled out of the pub and dumped onto a gravel path somewhere in Japan.

They found themselves a few feet from a torii. A man stood within the old, wooden gate. He held on to two small, screaming girls. A boy stood behind them. The Vortex of Doom snapped shut.

"What the fuck?"

Hans' bewilderment vanished a moment later. His eyes widened in recognition as did Toshi's.

Albert simply decided to smile and jump out of the bed and run up to the door. He threw open the door and embraced Ray in a hug. He could tell it was Ray before opening by the sheer virtue that his boyfriend's scent was stronger near the door than it had been earlier. He didn't care if he had been redressed or not, he just hugged his boyfriend happily as his tail swished behind him. "Ray!" He shouted happily, for the sheer virtue that his boyfriend was there.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEGGGGGH!" Sydney tried to twist around to bite Ogoti's former cultist leader but couldn't reach his skin. The flash of light startled her, and she squealed again when Hans and the lady with the sword popped out of nowhere.

Siduer wobbled from his efforts. "Hans! Hans he tried to grab us, and the shop blew up, and he chased me down, and kicked my ass and I lost him, and he came here, and he's got the girls and Rachelle's mortal and could die!" This all came out in one breath and very quickly.

"Shit, really!?" Rachelle shouted, looking as if she'd just committed murder for what she just said, but if it was her last moments, she'd certainly be expressing her anger about it, having learned the words from all the other people she was held with by the Drones. Hearing them was second nature, sort of, but saying them? She couldn't bring herself to do it in most situations.

Her friends were really good at calming her down, what with saying she could die and all that, like she was the only one really in danger, and her friends would be just fine. Well, better just her than all of them, she thought.

(OOC - Oh my, Torsi. :lol2: Poor Yoshi got thrown over for Dora...unless it turns into a true menage a trois.)

Dora's gray eyes turned up to look at Katya. "What's up?"

The PI crushed out the cigarette on the edge of the roof, then wandered back over.

Tiltjuice wrote:"You're welcome!" Chrys said, and then jumped as she felt the energy arc. "Ahhh!"

She looked about curiously. "Where are we? Who's that?" she asked, referring to Toshi and Sydney.

Hans was mildly concerned for Sydney's sake. His eyes darted to the other girl. Bran's daughter, Rachelle.

"That is the traitor, Toshi," he growled. "The screaming brat is Swith's child. The silent girl is Bran's only daughter. I think - I think this is Japan?"

Hans hadn't any weapons. A rocket propelled grenade wouldn't have damaged the plague cultist anyway. He growled.

Toshi's grip on the girls tightened and made their arms tingle.

Klaus (still sitting in a lawn chair and holding a box of popcorn) wiggled his fingers at Dora. The woman turned away before he'd been noticed. He popped a few kernels into his mouth and leaned forward to listen.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

She fiancée back at Dora, who had walked away. "Hey, Dora? Come here?"

Yoshi giggled happily. but he really did need to talk to her about something important later. Specifically their child. There was a nagging feeling that it might not be his. After all, they were two separate species.
A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority.
