I don't care. I don't believe in god and I don't consider the idea of any type of god existing valid in any meaningful way. I get over it. I frequently reference god in my speech I use god as a metaphor I invoke his name in anger it's a cultural thing and I don't particularly care that it isn't all inclusive.

It should be removed, yes. I agree fully with Regnum's reasoning. (really, the whole Pledge thing should be removed altogether, it's a waste of time, considering schools are supposed to be there for the benefit of students, not to act as indoctrination centers, supposedly anyway)

I expect anyone who tried would be committing political suicide, however. (imagine the racket the "Obama is fighting a *war* on Christmas!" people would be making if he suggested removing the references to God).

I think the only way it will be removed is through a judicial decision (people like the President would still get bombarded with flak for that, but hey, that's American politics for you).
