Trescott, officially known as The Monocratic Quintessence of Trescott (also referred to as the Quintessence of the Monocratic Empire, The Monocratic Quintessence, the New Trescottian Kingdom, or the Reformed Kingdom of Old Terrascotia) is a constitutional elected monarchy comprising of several large islands that are divided up into state-provinces, and one capital district. It is situated in the Eastern Judean sea with The Monocratic Dominions of Alahastra to its North, and the Imperial Republic of Sensal to its South-West. Most of Trescott's territories lie in the middle of the Tulgian Sea. The entirety of the close diplomatic and military entity of the Quintessence Empire (consisting of Alahastra and Trescott) or both conveniantly located in the Tulgian Sea. However, Trescott also holds territory in southern Sensal, as a part of a trade deal. The nation also possesses other territories in the Judean region and also forward-operation bases in several nations.

Trescott's main landmass is roughly 15,165,600 square miles (39,278,724 squre kilometers) and has a total populations of over four billion people. It is a nation diverse in culture, though most of the population is split amongst native Trescottians and Alahastrans with few immigrants from around the Judean land. Although, much of the nation practices in the ways of Revosism which often at times finds conflict with other religions within Trescott. However, even with the flares of religious persecution, many flock to Trescott to find work and to enjoy its natural beauties.

The native population of the Trescottian land (First "Trescottians") were traced back to thousands of years prior. These native people slowly evolved over the course of centuries to become the new Trescottians of the modern generation. They survived in Trescott's warm climate and soon, began to harness the natural materials around them to their advantage. Technological advances, growing numbers, and political fueds resulted in the emergance of ancient, native kingdoms. After the emergance of Revosism around the years of 117 A.D in the Kingdom of Terrascotia, religious wars began to break out between the relatively small kingdom and its pagan, animistic, and druid neighbors. These wars would span for around five-hundred and fourteen years before the final conclusions around the year of 634 or 635 A.D. With the power of faith, advances in superior technology and tactiful diplomacy, the Kingdom of Terrascotia emerged from the "Five-Hundred Years War" as a strong military power and influence. In addition, the new nation of Alahastra was formed in the islands to the North of ancient-Trescott by ancient-Trescottian druids that fled the warring land in the midst of conquer by the Kingdom of Terrascotia, at around the end of the "Five-Hundred Years War". From the study of the history of both nations after the finds of ancient relics in the designated "Equally Occupied Territories" located in the middle of Trescott and Alahastra, it was discovered in 2010 that Alahastrans traced their ancestry back to the "First Trescottians". The historic discovery would forever tie the nations of Alahastra and Trescott in a history bound by blood.

During the Tenth Century, much of the current-nation was under the control of the Terrascotian Kingdom, with little sections of the entirety of the Trescottian lands having been undiscovered, or having been unreachable. However, due to political and social discontent during the 10th Century, the "Old Kingdom" was toppled by wide-spread revolution. The "New Kingdom" of Trescottia (or simply known as, Trescott) was formed under the banner of a new leader and a new system of governance; a Monarchial-system was put in place to remove discontent with the Oligarchy ruling of the "Old Kingdom". A constitution was written and ratified in the year of March 5 959 A.D. The ratification of the document united the Kingdom under one banner. Afterwords, a Decree of Humanity was written, debated on, and ratified in August 964 A.D to ensure the liberties of individuals across the nation.

A period of expansion and imperialism by the Trescottian state ensued during the 14th and 16th century. During this time period, Trescottian explorers and colonists charted the regions of Judea and established colonies in foreign lands. Though various military operations of the time were met with mixed results (see the Incident of the Ewacian Isles for example), advancements in technology were made, nevertheless, followed by more colonial expansion. It was at this point in history that the Monocratic Empire was ascending to become a regional power. The 200 years of growth in both land and industry was the beginning of what was to be known as Trescott's Golden Age. Coming with the explorers and colonists was the culture of the Trescottian people. Examples of such culture still linger in areas where Trescottian influence were established. Parts of Trescottian culture can be found in modern-day Minnysota, Ewa Beach, Bellganamos, and Alahastra. It wasn't until many years later that the Monocratic Empire would reach its height in economic and military issues.

In the 18th century, Trescott officially emerged into the international scenario as a regional power. Only a century earlier, the Trescottian state had ended a period of expansion and imperialism. To focus more on economic development, Trescott had entered a period of political isolation during the 17th century. During this time, great advances were made in the industry and in the military. A century later, the nation renounced is political isolation to rejoin the region's politics. As a first priority of the state, Trescott began to establish diplomatic ties with its fellow nations. A key alliance was established between the "sister" nation of Alahastra to the North of Trescott. Over the recent turn of the century (which was viewed as the end of the Golden Age of Trescott), Trescott would face a number of crises. The early 1900's Minnysotan incursions into Trescottian-Minnysota would result in much death for both sides. Although the Minnysotans of Trescottian-Minnysota would gain independence from Trescottian rule casualties on both sides were so high that the political viewing of such a conflict would be considered a stalemate. Other crises would involve a regime takeover of Alahastra, economic recession, and multiples riots. In recent years, the Trescottian state has, once again, began to invoke imperialistic views on neighboring nations. Recently, tensions between nations within Judea have sparked political anxiety. In light of the recent fear of war, Trescott had recently brokered a deal between its neighbor to the Southwest, Sensal, to acquire land in the nation's Southern portion in exchange for a Mutual Defense Pact between the two nations in the face of war.

Author's Note

[3/23/2011] And here it comes. The Religion section will be getting a major update, as i am introducing a new religion for Trescott: Revosism. The new religion will be basically spiraled around the term of "Revered Following". Along with Revosism, shall be added "The Order of The Savidicii", which is a sort of Battle Priest centered Para-Military Society that upholds the way of Revosism (Think Templars, but more... Holy, if that is possible). Again, more details to be added soon. Also, i shall be completely re-amping my History section (in coordination with a joint Trescott-Alahastra history). Expect a fable of sorts to replace the current history. This fable will be entirely RP, and will give the factbook a much needed kick. More details to come.

Etymology

The earliest reference to the nation of Trescott can be traced back to the beginning of the 1st century. It was at this time that curiosity of the full extent of the Trescottian landmasses were at its height. Up to the 1st century, the entire Trescottian region had not been fully explored. Multiple explorations were funded by various kingdoms to explore the entirety of the Trescottian region. These expeditions resulted in the startling discovery that Trescott was comprised of not just a single island, but four main ones. The new fact prompted many of the early kingdoms to name the lands, Quatre îles Grandes, French for "Four Great Islands". It wasn't until the early 10th century that the usage of "Trescott" would become a permenant reference to the entirety of the Trescottian lands. It was up to that point, from the time of the sixth century, which the predecessor to the Trescottian state, the Terrascotians, had been in ruling. After a wide-spread revolution toppled the oligarchy of the Empire of Terrascotia, a new kingdom was formed under the name of Trescottia. The word "Trescott" is a simplified version of the conventional "Trescottia", which was a derivative of the name "Terrascotia". Ever since the Kingdom was formed under the rule of the Monarch, the official name of the nation has been the Kingdom of Trescottia (Trescott).

The shortened conventional, Trescott, is a common reference to the nation in modern times. Its official long-form conventional name, is the Monocratic Quintessence of Trescott. Other names include: The Monocratic Quintessence, The Monocratic Empire, Kingdom of Trescottia, Reformed Empire of Old Terrascotia.

It is standard to refer to a citizen of Trescott as a "Trescottian". Culture originating from Trescott is also deemed as "Trescottian". The deregatory name given to Trescottians first starting to appear around the Minnysotan-Trescottian conflict. At this time, "Trescotter" was used in place of "Trescottian" to instigate members of the Trescottian military, and was said as a sign of disrespect. As such, a member of the Trescottian nationality will find it offensive to be called a "Trescotter".

Geography

General Description of Geography

Trescott is a giant landmass. Its approximate size is 39,278,724 square kilometers. However, with the addition of new colonies, the Empire's total landmass is nearly tripled. This makes The Empire of Trescott one of the largest empires around the world. Its vast expanse allows for many cities and towns to appear. Many of these towns and cities are connected by a series of national highways. Though, because of Tresoctt's vast land, it is difficult to maintain and create highways that connect the entire nation. However, because of the vastness of land, the government can safely perform experiments and tests without endangering the majority of the population. With the addition of colonies and claims, the Imperium is slowly expanding its reaches across the known world.

The nation's climate is temperate, with the occasional spike in humidity, causing for random spikes of weather patterns to occur in the years. Though such a thing happening is rare, the ever-changing climate of the world could cause a severe change in Trescott's weather patterns. Such fears have caused the weather and climate of the world to be closely monitored by scientists.

Due to its size, Trescott is home to many ecosystems and animals. Each region of Trescott has a specific environment that are suitable for certain type of plants and animals. Poaching of these animals (except during hunting season for certain animals) is considered illegal and can be punishable by at least four years in jail. In addition, the environment in Trescott is closely-guarded. Many tourists and vacationers come annually to relax and tour the abundant natural wonders spread throughout Trescott. Though, many just tend to relax on the long stretch of beaches or country home. These environments are protected by laws which prohibits pollution, littering, and forestry of these natural sights.

The nation of Trescott is an avid PRO-environmentalist. It supports protecting the environment and encourages eco-friendly ways of living. Though most of the nation is still dependent on oil, the government of Trescott is trying hard to bring the nation out of its dependency on oil. Many solar systems and wind turbines are located near towns and cities. Natural energy is among the top priorities of the Trescottian government. As well as containing many lush forests, rivers, and other breath-taking features of nature, the nation also contains many natural resources and elements.

Southern Region
Image
A tree located in the vast Trescottian deserts

To the south, the area is dry and hot, creating a small region of deserts. Occasionally, strong winds blow northward to create massive sandstorms, which may reach towns in the center of the island. This part of the island is sparsely populated with the area mainly used as a military test and training range. Some areas, however, are supposed to be abundant in gems and minerals, leading mining industries to set up operations in parts of the deserts.

The region is also a popular tourist attraction. Because of the humid and rocky conditions, the area is a good place for cave explorers. New caverns and rock formations are discovered on monthly. These discoveries usually spark a new wave of hardened adventurers to test their skills. On an annual basis, rock-climbers and explorers come to explore the Trescottian desert. Due to rising concern of these tourists becoming lost in the vast, dry region, officials have been sprawling to somehow maintain the popular tourist attractions located in the Southern region, all while keeping the people who come to see them safe.

The Southern Region has various details that distinguishes it from the rest of the other regions of Trescott. Many natural resources are located in this region. These resources can be ores of all kind, valuable building materials such as granite. and gems ranging from amethyst to rare diamonds. Two percent of the region is irrigated. Military outposts and research facilities are scattered throughout the region. Temperatures range from 120 - 160 degrees Fahrenheit. It is estimated that about six [6] to twelve [12] towns are located in this designated region of the island, however only two major cities has been mapped.

Western Region

Image
A pristine beach maintained and owned by the Trescottian Government
To the west, shallow water off of the coast allows for the establishment of beach spots. The Western region of the Trescottian state is made up of many beaches and lush forests. Humid weather and tourists give the region a tropical vibe. The various beach spots along the coast are privately owned by the city/state-province that they are located in. However, the adminstrations and managements of such environmental beauty is reported to the government.

The shallow to deep waters along the Western coast allow for small islands to form. These islands are usually sights of tours and attractions. However, though rare, people have sometime taken to populating the islands. There are a few handful of villages amongst the vast amount of islands located in the Western portion of Trescott. On occasion, a tour may also stumble upon an island which is privately owned by an individual. Though, the government is rare to grant out leases to those who wish to own valuable land such as the islands. Certain requirements must be met before a person may own/populate an island.

Temperatures here are about the same as they are up north, except for the distinction of heat spikes, causing the range of temperatures to be from 100 - 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Humid weather can cause hurricanes and tsunamis during the summer season. Precautions have been prepared for such disastors, as they are fairly common during the peak of the summer heat waves.

The natural resources located in this area are massive forests which provide many supplementary goods such as maple syrup and paper. An abundance of fruit also grows in this region. In addition, fishing communities along the coast provide the various sea creatures that go on for sale in the market. The opportunity to find pearls and diamonds is also there, though, such happenings are reported to be extremely rare. Oil is also drilled off the coast, though precautions have been made to prevent a disastor to befall the surronding area.

The Western Region is usually filled with tourists or vacationers seeking a good time. Fifteen percent of the area is irrigated. Some military bases are scattered throughout this region. It is estimated that twelve [12] to twenty-four [24] towns have been mapped in this part of the island. Four major cities have been mapped.

Northern Region
Image
Lakes and forests in the northern region of Trescott

In the north, the area is filled with lakes and streams. Temperatures range from 60 - 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Here, the forests and various wildlife are abundant. A network of rivers dominate the surronding landscape, creating wet lands and lesser rivers. These rivers allow for the growth and supply of many of Trescott's timber products. They are also apart of a complicated ecosystem, from which the different assortment of animals of the North benefit from. Trescottians have long seen the use for the rivers for transporting goods. Towns have periodically sprung up around many of the major river sources. The beauty of the Northern Region is one of Trescott's national pride.

Many people populate this area due to its mild, temperate climate. The soil in the North is suitable for farming and development, thanks to the various fresh water sources. It is here, that some of Trescott's major cities thrive. A variety of establishments can be found in the North. These places range from zoos, schools, and companies. However, with the ever-increasing presence of humans in the once tranquil North, the government has enacted laws to lessen the environmental impact caused by humans. Thus, the North is regulated with a firm grip.

The natural resources that are located in this area are mostly crops from farmlands. Because of the various fresh water sources located throughout the Northern Region, the North is a major provider of an abundance of agricultural goods. Twenty-five percent of the area is irrigated. The rest of the North is filled with forests and mountains. These forests provide timber and timber by-products to the rest of Trescott. These goods are sent to various markets and companies around the nation.

Though the North may seem peaceful and serene, floods are an occuring problem with the long duration of rain during some seasons. The flooding that occurs can damage structures and ruin crops. To counter the ever-growing problem, the government had taken to constructing dams on some of Trescott's more uncertain rivers. These dams regulate the amound of water flow that occurs annually. The massive structures also provide energy for about 20% of the entire Trescottian population.

The North is a unique jewel of the Trescottian nation, not because of its beauty, but also because most of Trescott's military bases are located in the region. Many natural harbors litter this area of Trescott, making the North an ideal area for naval bases. Harbors and naval stations can be found in an assortment of places along the Northern coast. Many Airfields and military bases are also located in the North. Essentially, the North is the main military zone of the Trescottian Military.

It is estimated that about fourteen [14] to twenty-eight [28] towns have been mapped. Five major cities have also been mapped.

Eastern Region

Image
Mountains part of the Trescottian Alps
The eastern part of Trescott is filled with high, snowy mountains, similar to the Alps. Fresh water flows from the mountains, creating various rivers and streams. It is here that the freshest of any water can be found. This constant supply of fresh water and all-around natural beauty has made the Trescottian Highlands, thought not the most perfect of places, an ideal environment to live in.

Temperatures are seemingly always cold, ranging from 30 - 60 degrees Fahrenheit. In the mountains, temperatures can range from -20 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Meteorologists and Geologists flourish here as the result of the mountains that litter the area. It is here that many of Trescott's environmentalists and scientists come to perform research. However, not all of those who populate the surrounding area are men of knowledge. This region also contains some towns and resorts, which Trescottians flock to during times of vacation.

Though the natural beauty of the mountains are amongst some of Trescott's many natural wonders, low temperature around the mountains may cause the rivers and streams created by the melting ice and snow to freeze. When warmer temperature hits the Eastern region, the frozen water begins to melt, causing a massive flood once unfrozen. The government has tried to find a solution to the problem of periodic flooding, but none have yet been deemed adequete. It is with hope that in later years, a solution that does not hamper the natural beauty of the mountains can be found.

Natural resources in the Eastern Region are hard to find, but rumor has it that along the eastern part of the Alps, there is a large supply of oil that has been untapped. It has been speculated, that throughout the mountains, there are natural minerals and gems deposist which have laid untapped. Such rumors have led some to try and discover such deposits, yet wind up finding nothing. The government has sent teams to also try and find those natural deposits, and as of so far, the searches have yielded some results. Veins of gold, iron, and copper have been found along the mountain range. Further scouting of the mountains may spring more results.

The Eastern region of Trescott is also the location of some irrigation of structures. Ten percent of the area is irrigated. There are few military bases located in this area but many airfields, outposts, and surveillance positions can be found. The land is morphed, giving way to high mountains and artic coves. It is estimated that about eight [8] to [22] towns have been mapped. Three major cities have also been mapped.

Center Region
Image
Agricultural plains located in the center of Trescott

In the center of the island, the diverse environments of the Trescottian Super-mass combines together to create, what one may call it, a "paradise" of mixed ecosystems. The land in the center is diverse, but not that diverse to prevent building or access. Here, the weather comes together to create an atmosphere around this area that is not too warm or cold, making this center land a serene area for living. Temperatures, however, may suffer spikes depending on the direction of the wind from the cardinal directions. Wind from the south, carrying heat, may cause the temperature in the center to jump up by 20 degrees. However, such happenings are rare, and so the temperature remains in the range of 50 - 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Here, the nation's capital, New Bastion, is located. Many schools, companies, and suburban areas are found throughout the center of the island. It is here, that the minds of Trescott, from all of the various regions, come together to form a coalition of thinkers and idealists. Most of the central part of Trescott is farmland and industry. Thirty-five percent of the area has been irrigated. Most of Trescott's military bases are located in the center of the island. About twenty [20] to forty-five [45] towns have been mapped. Seven major cities have also been mapped. The capital city, New Bastion, has been mapped as well.

History

The Founding of Trescott

Image
A portrait of Sir Trescott during the expedition
The history of Trescott began at the time of its founding in the year 958 AD. It is broken into the eras of the kings and queens that ruled over the previous commonwealth, starting with the first ever monarch of Trescott, King William. After being sent out on an expedition of colonization funded by the Duke of Farle, Duke Harold Rutoire, Sir William Trescott (then an explorer from a patrician family) landed on what would be now known as "William's Point" in the year 907 AD. He arrived on shore with the 200 soldiers, and 350 settlers who had come with him in hopes of glory and wealth. They quickly set up camp, and named their new settlement, New Farle, (in honor of the Duke of Farle) and named the region as Trescott, after their leader of the Expedition, Sir Trescott.

After a week of construction, the settlers encountered the native people, The Fetachi. the natives were curious about the strange newcomers, who they were also curious of them. The two factions began to trade with each other. The settlers traded beads and glasses for valuable products such as furs and gems. Most importantly, the Fetachi also taught the settlers how to survive in the new land. Through the tutelage of the Fetachi, after a few years, the new settlement began to prosper.

Years passed, and the settlement became an instant boom-town. Under the leadership of the newly appointed Governor, Sir Trescott, New Farle grew from a settlement into a town, and from there, into a city. The expansion, however, did affect much of the Fetachi population. Most died from diseases brought in by the settlers. As the population increased, so too, did the desire to settle new territory. There was already well over 20 towns in the region of Trescott. However, tragedy struck in the year 973, as the Duke of Farle and all of his family was assassinated by members of his own party in an attempt to take over the government. This act threw the kingdom into chaos, with various factions fighting for control. This left the Colony of Trescott as the last safe haven for the Farlesians to go.

As the refugees flooded into the Colony, more and more jobs were created to fund this new surge of population. Eventually, the region was so vast in numbers that Sir Trescott declared the colony a new nation, one succeeding that of the late Kingdom of Farle. He proclaimed his capital city to be New Farle, and changed its name to New Bastion, after all the refugees the city had taken in. Sir Trescott then proceeded to crown himself king, becoming king at the age of 58, and began preparations to build a capital from where he would lead the nation. From then on the Kingdom was born, and its history continued with the following of new eras of kings and queens, to the present leader.

Trescott Era
(Early-High-Late Medieval Age/Early Renaissance Era)

Chapter I

A New Nation with New Problems

The Trescott Dynasty was a time of progress and new thinking. After crowning himself king of Trescott, King William began to see to the problems of his new fledgling nation. Without the support and trade that had long funded the colonization efforts, Trescott was on the verge of bankruptcy. The new refugees that had arrived from Farle were consuming more and more of the food stores. Whats more, various settlements across the lands felt that they were still Farlesians and would not accept a new king that easily. Just as the new nation had been created, it seemed as though that it would fall easily apart. However, King William saw to it that his new nation would not die out so easily.

First, King William tackled the issue of bankruptcy. He ordered the tapping of natural resources to account for the lack of goods coming from trade. With a newly enhanced work force, the tapping of such resources became more efficient and bountiful. Then, King William started to pave roads through the vast forests to connect and expand his domain. It wasn't until the year 1261 A.D that all of his towns had been connected. With the newly carved out roads came goods transported from town to town. Thus, trade began to flourish in the kingdom. However, it was still not enough. King William extended his sights to the vast ocean, where new riches awaited those that sought its treasures. He ordered the immediate construction of merchant vessels that would sail the high seas and search for valuable goods and merchandises. Within 8 years, the kingdom had at least twenty-three (23) merchant fleets, consisting of at least three (3) merchant vessels and various number of warships each. Soon, the economy of the new nation was secure. Trade flourished, as more and more towns were constructed. However, there was always the threat of those who did not join the kingdom. In addition, food was still running short.

Food. There was always that topic of whether there would be enough to feed the entire kingdom or just one family. King William understood the importance of crops and farms. However, most of the region was covered with thick forests that ran on for miles on miles. King William started a project to expand agriculture in all towns by reducing the forests' thickness. At the same time, he encouraged the usage of boats to gather fish and other seafood. This, he hoped, would succumb the growing population's demand for more food until the expansion of farms could be completed. Although the people still were mostly hungry, they were at least not starving. As more and more trees fell by the axe, more and more farms began to appear. Soon, farmlands could stretch for miles. With more sources of food available to them, the majority of the population were relieved of their starvation. Even to this day, farmlands dominate most of the central and northern regions of the nation.

After solving the hunger and economic crisis, the only other problem for King William to contend to now was the newly formed kingdom of New Farlesia. The Kingdom of New Farlesia was comprised of many Farlesian colonists that did not accept the new government or king of the heretical Trescottian nation. To them, the newly formed kingdom of Trescott was a blight of treason on the principals and rights bestowed upon them by their homeland, The Kingdom of Farle. As such, the Farlesian government, under the rule of Duke Gaffon Le'Quis, formed its own kingdom directly to the west of The Kingdom of Trescott. Among the first of its decrees, the Kingdom of New Farlesia declared war on the Kingdom of Trescott. The land that the Trescottian people had first landed on had not known war until then. However, the peaceful tranquility that the land had known for years will now be broken with the forge of steel and blood. The era of calmness was over, and the age of war had begun.

Chapter II

The Age of War

By the time the famine and economic problems came to an end, King William was now sixty-seven (67) years old. Death was creeping around the corner, a fact that King William knew all too well. As he laid in his bed awaiting the darkness that would soon engulf him, King William called for his only son, Marcus Trescott. The king spoke with his son, telling him how much he had loved him and how he regretted that he had not spent as much time with him as he would have liked to. Before parting from the world, with his last breath, the king tasked his son with uniting the Kingdom, and destroying all of those who threatened her peace and serenity. King William passed away on August 25, 1267 A.D.

The task of leading the nation to glory fell on the newly-crowned King Marcus. Upon hearing of the death of King William, Duke Le'Quis of New Farlesia quickly mounted an offensive attack on the Trescottian border. Outraged by the sudden aggressiveness of the New Farlesians, King Marcus assembled an army of 2,500 soldiers. He left New Bastion with trumpets blazing and citizens lining up on the roads to wave good-bye to the king and his men. The time had came to meet the Farlesians in battle.

The Monarchy - The High Empereur

Image
William II, as portrayed by this portrait

The Monarch is the dominant power and leader of the nation. He or she determines everything, with part of decisions going to Parliament. The Monarch is the Supreme Military Commander of all Trescottian Forces. His decisions are final with the further approval of Parliament. The general role of the Monarch is to carry out and enfore the laws made by Parliament. He is also the Commander of all Forces during wartime. All national and foreign relations are managed and met by him. His job is also to co-manage the whole nation with the Prime Minister, and with the consultance of his ministers.

The Monarch, however, is succeeded in a different manner than most other monarchies. It was followed in the old days of the Monarchy that the eldest child would succeed the throne of Trescott. However, it was after the death of the childless late-king Hubar I (Of the Fredrich House) that the old provisional ways of succession were cast aside. After Hubar I's death, the kingdom was throne into great turmoil. Claimants of many aspects stepped up to seize the throne for themselves. It wasn't until an army sponsored by an alliance of nobles having pledged allegiance to Hubar I's great nephew and also distant relative of a Trescottian-Ernheart marriage, Victor, crushed the claimant armies that peace was restored. After much discussion, the nobility decided that it was best to reorganize the succession structure by having an elected-monarch rather than having a lineage procession.

Though the process of electing a monarch was an arduous task for the noble houses, it allowed for the assurance of the throne never being un-occupied. It was revised over the next years that the act of voting for a monarch only comes whe the majority of the noble houses call for such a vote. Though it is generally expected that the noble houses call for votes regularly, if a Noble house of great respect currently occupies the throne, though a vote would be technically in place after the Monarch dies, the noble houses would not vote and thus, the de facto ruler would be that of the Monarch's lineage as protocol dictates under the Reformed Trescottian Constitution. The Trescottian royalty would then follow a standard succession line. If the noble houses were to favor the current Monarch (thus, pledge their sponsorship to the current line's claim to the crown) the Monarch would be succeeded by his eldest child. If the eldest were to die, then the next in line for the throne would take his place and so on. The royal line is secured by the birth of any sex. That means a man or a woman could rule the nation. The Monarch and his family is protected by the Trescottian Vieille Garde d'Honneur Impériale (Old Imperial Honor Guard), which consists of men and woman trained under harsh conditions and mental challenge to be prepared to protect the majesty and his family. The veteran of the Honor Guards are referred to as "the Old ones".

Image
The Césiliôn Palàis Royàl during the morning

The Monarch and his family live in the Césiliôn Palàis Royàl. It is here that the Monarch spends lives and performs recreational activites. The Palace is located on the outskirts of New Bastion in a private area of the country. It is monitored by an elite security team, consisting of Elite Trescottian Special Forces, and also of the Old and New Imperial Honor Guard. The New Guard monitors and patrols the outskirts of the Palace; the Old Guard guards most of the interior perimeter of the palace, and portions of the outskirts. Extensive security measures had been taken to ensure the protection of the monarch and his family.

Over the past centuries, many kings/queens have renovated the Palace to their own likings. For example, the late Queen Isabelle IV added an extra section to the palace to include her very own personal spa area. In addition, the Late King Gregoire II, constructed a series of miniaturized walls that surrounds the palace grounds to this day. The walls were constructed to keep out any and all enemies of the crown. These walls have become the means by which some of the guards have stationed themselves on. Although, the grounds of the palace had been extended more than once, and the walls were pushed back with every extension.

The Monarchy - Ruling House

The Ruling House is the house of the current ruler of Trescott. It is a title bestowed upon a Noble House of Trescott when a person of such a house is elected as the Monarch. The Ruling house consists of descendants and relatives of the current ruler of Trescott. However, the members of the house are only those of the closest relatives to the current monarch. That being, siblings, children, sibling's children, etc. A person whom is of distant relative birth can not be a member of the Ruling House. They are instead, only a part of the Noble House of descendant. Though the title of "Ruling House" has no real sway over the government and the current Monarchy, it alone is a contributing factor to respect of the Ruling House's members between the other houses and citizens of Trescott.

Being a member of the Ruling House entitles a person to special protection. As people would exploit a member's position in the house to gain leverage in the nation, special protection must be handled to all members of the Ruling House. However, being a member of the Ruling House does not permit the breaking of the law or any other form of state crime. A member also does not gain any special privilages in social/economic related issues. Using one's position in the Ruling House is frowned upon by other Noble Houses and members of the Ruling house. However, such persuasion of status is not entirely illegal.

If the current Monarchy line dies out, and there is no other surviving family member of his or her household to take up the throne, then a member of one of the surviving house shall be able to contend for votes in the hopes of becoming the next monarch.

The Aristocracy - Noble Houses

Noble Houses have been embedded in the history of the Monocratic Quintessence of Trescott for centuries. In the beginning of the "Old Kingdom" the first king of Trescott began to entitle those whom were most trustworthy to his crown to seats of power and prestige. Slowly, noble houses began to become common throughout Trescott. Even after the first king of Trescott's death, more noble houses were added by the next monarchies. However, as the number of noble houses grew, so too did the danger of ursurption from those whom would seize the crown by force. It was that fear which was realized during the "War of a Hundred Crowns". During the time after the last Monarch of the Fredrich dynasty, King Hubar I, ruled, a state of civil war betweent the various claimants to the throne of Trescott was underway. After years of fighting, the emergance of the next monarch, King Victor the Just, gave way to a period of de-nobilization. During that time, all noble houses except for the ones which had allied themselves with him were to be disbanded. This act prevented the slightest possibility of another "War of the Crown" to take place. Furthermore, certain laws and decrees of the land were established to limit the nobility's powers and influence. The current "Law of the Nobles" bind the noble houses to defend the power of the state and the rightful heir to the crown.

There are currently twelve (if counting the current Ruling House of Trescott, thirteen) noble houses still functioning in Trescott. They are of a long standing traditions of the nation and a reminder of the driving force that helped to preserve the fragile balance of the old kingdom. These houses, for a long time, have been one of the major speakers in Parliament. They have also been the most influential, having sent many members of their houses to serve in Parliament, or other forms of government. Though diminished in influence over the past years, the Noble Houses still have a great sway over the majority of Parliament.

The current noble houses (by order of timeline):

House of Ernheart (Ruling House) - The Ernheart family is a long surviving family from the very early beginnings of the "New Kingdom". It was established by the grace of William the Insightful in 967 A.D and its first head was the valiant Commander-At-Arms Denard Ernheart. As the king's closest advisor and friend, Denard was all but grateful and eager to accept William's offer as to bestow upon himself a title of nobility and fielty. The Ernheart family are also distantly related to the old Trescottian blood-line through the marriage of Denard's great-grandson to William's great-niece. Ernheart's regard themselves as natural defenders of the nation's sovereignty, moral diplomatics, and masters of the international communique. They are on good-relations with a majority of the noble houses, and thus, have ruled for a substantial time.

House of Vercruz - The Vercruz family are a family established around the early years of the "New Kingdom". It was established with the consent of William I of Trescott in 970 A.D. The Vercruz first head of house was the highly-successful merchant, Marqui de Vercruz. It was thanks to the Vercruz intervention on certain trade negotiations and their later involvement with the government trade and finances department that Trescott was able to bring in income during its early stages. Because of their friendly terms with the Trescott's and also because of the family's indisposable characteristics for figures and trade, the Vercruz were established as a noble house within the confines of the Trescottian state. They are on fairly good terms with the rest of the nobles houses, and thus, hold a reputable existance within the noble class.

House of Weister - The Weister family are an old breed of lawmakers and peacekeepers. They were formally established as a Noble family during the year of 981 A.D. The first head of household was Leopold van Weister, who was an avid Judge and later Justice of the Court. It has been credited to the Weister family of convicting and sentencing many criminals to jail/death during the "Old Kingdom" years. Furthermore, the Weister family has also been credited for establishing the first law system of the Trescottian state. For their avid pursuit in Law and Order, the Weister family were inducted as a noble house. However, due to the nature of the family's affairs, they are enemies of the common criminals and various crime lords of the underground.

House of Tricartes - The Tricartes family pay homage to the early sailors of the Trescottian "New Kingdom". It was formally established in the 1004 A.D. after the Battle of Hazat, during the "War of Waves" during the early to mid tenth century. The house was formally established under the leadership of Naval Admiral Hansel Tricartes, whose valor and heroic command during the Battle of Hazat earned him reputable fame and notoriety. Ever since, the Tricartes family has been a source of strong and admirable sailors. They're enemies, however, are the House of Kothers, for a long dispute between the naval characteristics of the Tricartes and the army features of the Buhr.

House of Buhr - The Buhr family have been a long distinguished military-capable family which focuses primarily on the army. Formally established in 1039 A.D. by the blessing of the King, the Buhr family are men of hard-working and disciplined nature. However, the Buhr's also feature a religious context, and thus, follow their moral teachings to the letter. These qualities are perfect for future soldiers of the Trescottian Army. The first head of house of the Buhr family, was the Trescottian Captain of Knights Pator Buhr. A dispute between the predominant naval family of the Tricartes have long soured the relations between them and the Buhr family. Currently, the dispute still lives on, and the two families continue to hate one another.

House of Stowall - The Stowall family have always been engineers and masters of construction. After the construction of the Trescottian National Monument, the Stowall family were offered the opportunity to become nobles in the year of 1092 A.D. The monument was commissioned by Peter I of Trescott as a monument to his father, William the Insightful, and was also dedicated to the first 100 years of the Trescottian state's existance. Having already accomplished many great engineering feats, the Stowall family had already made a name for themselves as great architects. It wasn't until the completion of such a monument that they were formally inducted into the Trescottian nobility. Their first head of house was the Master Architect, Galihad Stowall. The Stowall family now run great construction projects throughout Trescott, along with being on good terms with a great majority of the other houses.

House of Wilke - The Wilke family have been a leading figure in education and sciences for as long as the "New Kingdom" Their family members all have a keen interest in the educational state of the country, and work to educate themselves and others. After the great educational reform of the mid-11th (around 1162 A.D.) century in which the Wilke family were a leading sponsor and major contributor of, they were then granted the honor of becoming nobles. Their first head of house was the early scientist, Karson Wilke. The Wilke House is on relatively good terms with the other Houses.

House of Parson - The Parson family are a family of renown journalists and news-bringers. Having bore important messages from the front-lines of war, usually risking one's life for the purpose of such duties, the Parsons were granted titles of nobility during the year of 1234 A.D. Years after the serving of kings of old as messengers, the Parson have recently made a name for themselves as hunters of the truth and stout activists of free journalism. The first head of the house was a Cavalry Messenger by the name of Logan Parson. Due to the nature of their profession, The Parson's are thoroughly hated by the other noble houses, for their unrelenting attacks via the media news.

House of Morsted - The Morsted family are a family renown for its brewing of alcoholic beverages and their monopolies of agriculture. They were an extensive family of farmers and brewers. During the famine of 1324, the Morsted's worked hard to provide the nation with food. Most of its family members were killed off during the famine. Some were robbed and killed for what little they had, while others died of the lack of food after having given most of it to others in need. For their noble sacrifice during a time of great crisis, the monarch bestowed upon the Morsted's titles and estates in 1325 A.D. Though the new-found wealth did little to make up for all of their lost relatives, given time, the Morsted's were able to recuperate. Ellis Morsted was the first family head of the Morsteds after their annointment to a noble status. They now are active farmers and environmentalists whom are respected by all.

House of Dewaigh - The Dewaigh family is renowned for their spiritual belief in the ways of Revosism. Their family is trained in the ways of the "Revered Following" and follow the teachings of the "Revered Mother" to the point. Many of the members of the Dewaigh family are sent to study under the priests of Revosism. However, not all of their teachings involve religious texts. The Dewaigh's are renowned for their religious zeal and also with their adept knowledge in the way of the Order of Savidicii. It is a common sight for a Dewaigh to be inducted into the Order of Savidicii. During the "War of Intolerance", before the rise of Trescott, Old Trescotia was ruled by religious zest. The Dewaigh's made a name for themselves as religious warriors during that time, and their house was officially recognized as one that should be respected and feared. Markus Dewaigh, a Captain of the Revered, was the first leader of the Dewaigh house. They joined the ranks of the aristocracy in 1398 A.D, and are generally liked by all.

House of Werwick - The Werwick's have been a long time contributor to the fine arts of the nation. Trescottian plays of the past and present have mostly been written by the Werwick family. They have long entertained the King's court and have also provided the foundation for all future cultural events and literature. After producing many fine works of literature and the arts for a great many years, the Werwick family were granted titles of nobility for their centuries of devoted contribution to the arts. Zander Werwick, an esteemed poet and playwright, was the first head of family of the Werwicks. The Werick family was officially a noble family by 1478 A.D. However, due to some of the language and personal attacks involved using pieces of the arts, the Werwicks have made a few enemies in the past.

House of Berno - The Berno family is one which was shrouded in mystery. Some say that the family was started after members of the family threatened the current ruler to do so, while others say it was established due to the agreement for which one would have a Berno do. Regardless, the family is one which is well-known in assassinations and sabotage. During the early years of armed conflict between neighboring countries, the Berno's were once a band of roaming assassins employed by the Trescottian government. Though not originally of Trescottian birth, the Berno family were deadly in the field of "secret killings". However, the very nature of their official establishment as a noble family is still shrouded in mystery. No one even knows who the head of the Berno family was, or is currently. The only real date that can be traced back to the Berno's, was that the family was established some time around the late 1600's. Due to their secretive nature, the other noble houses regard the Berno family with much suspicion.

House of Vanderhoff - The Vanderhoffs are an arrogant but equally powerful family. They specialize in aeronautics and are considered to be Trescott's finest fliers and innovationists of air-to-air combat. It is typical of a Vanderhoff to enlist in the Royal Air Academy when they are of age. Due to their political influence and fame, the Vanderhoff House was established under controversy and skeptism. The first family head, Arthur Vanderhoff, was a secluded and equally shady-character. His dealings with the "wrong" people along with charges of corruption are still a topic of serious debate. The Vanderhoff family was officially established in 1920 A.D and because of their "dealings", the Vanderhoffs are looked down upon by the other Houses as un-worthy of their current status.

Executive Branch - Lord Chancellor

The Lord Chancellor of Trescott is an important figurehead and political icon of the Trescottian government. He is tasked with maintaining and overseeing the government. Unlike the High Empereur, The Lord Chancellor does not lead the country in international conflicts and events, but instead, is restricted to the leadership of the government. However, on many occasions, the Lord Chancellor acts as the Co-Leader of Trescott along with the High Empereur.

The executive branch of Trescott is consisted of departments that run the Country's day-to-day business. This branch is tasked with carrying out the laws created by Parliament. It is also tasked with overseeing the nation's welfare as a whole. Each Department of the Executive Branch plays a role in the development and stability of the nation. These departments are headed by Ministers who are handpicked by the current Prime Minister. These Ministers can be removed by the Lord Chancellor or Parliament if needed.

The Lord Chancellor has his/her own residential living area in the capital of New Bastion. It is located near Parliament, but placed on a private lot owned by the country. This structure had been apart of the Executive District of Trescott for over 400 years, after its construction in the early 1600's. Security is maintained on a daily basis, to ensure the protection of the Prime Minister and his/her family.

The people appointed to these positions are supposed to be an expert in that field. These men or woman serve for the remainder of the Prime Minister's term, and will respectfully leave office once the term of the Lord Chancellor is over.

Minister Requirements
-Have been born in Trescott
-Have served in Parliament for three (3) years
-Appointed by the Lord Chancellor
-Approved by majority of Parliament

The Executive Branch - Departments and Simplification

Before the great Reform of the 1880's, the Executive Branch had been in unorganized state. The Departments worked independently, and could not be relied on to complete their jobs. It was a time of great hardship upon the administration and also on the people under it. However, all of those hardships changed around the late 1800's, when the Ernheart Dynasty was taking back control of the crown.

When Harold II (Of the House of Ernheart) removed Bartholomew IV (Of the House of Flarence) and seized the crown in the late 1800's, he ushered in a wave of political and commercial reform. One such such reform was the simplification of the government. Before, the government was a mess. The departments stole money and were self-interested in filling their own pockets, while the people suffered under such corruption. Finally, after the joke-of-king Bartholomew IV was ousted, things began to change in the government. Harold II removed most of the corrupt nobleman from their administrative duties, and replaced them with fresh-minded common folk. Though this was scourned by the nobles, the common people rejoiced under such blessings.

Next, Harold II decided to simplify the branches of the government. Having so many departments running different things was utterly confusing. So, the king formed commissions of the Executive Branch, with related Departments falling under these Branches. To this day, the Trescottian people still use many of the reforms issued by the late Harold II, and he is regarded to be one of the greatest kings at the turning point of the century.

The Legislative Branch - Imperial Parliament

Image
The Current Parliamentary building of Trescott
The government of Trescott consists of two governing powers. One, is the High Empereur and his royal family, while the other is Parliament, which is split into the Quintessential Senate, and the House of Regulars. The High Empereur controls everything that happens in his empire, but the Imperial Parliament gives power to the common people, and can overrule some of the Imperator's decisions if necessary.

With a Parliament in place, the happiness of the people are ensured, and total power to the High Empereur is avoided. However, if the High Empereur dies, and has no heirs, then Parliament can, for a short time, take control of the government until the royal accenssion to the throne can be secured. To ensure that Parliament does not use this power to take over the government completely, a limit is set to how long Parliament can control the government. The limit is set to four years, and if an heir cannot be found within that time, then the various noble houses of the land will elect a new High Empereur. Parliament must vote on whether or not to let the proceeding votes begin. To further ensure that power cannot be seized through force or manipulation, the Quintessential Senate and The House of Regulars must approve the accession of an official to at least a full majority (around 85% for each).

Parliament's main duties are to pass laws and bills that benefit the country. To pass a law, a division of Parliament (either the Quintessential Senate or the House of Regulars) must first come up with a draft and get it passed by a majority of votes by Parliament members before being able to change and revise it. Then, once the new law is passed by the other house, it is
revised once more into a finished version and sent to the Imperator for approval.

The Legislative Branch - Quintessential Senate

The Quintessential Senate, or just The Senate, is the more infleuntial part of the Imperial Parliament. The Senate consists of various members of society, a portion coming from Noble Houses, while the rest being common people elected to the governing body of politics. Just like the House of Regulars, the Senate is tasked with creating new bills and laws for the people of Trescott. Though the two are both regarded as equal, the Senate is seen to be the more "experienced" half. Most Senaters regard themselves as the seniors of House members. There are a total of 150 senate positions in the Parliamentary Senate.

Some Senators are Nobility, while the majority are usually high-class or middle-class Trescottians. They are elected by the people or appointed by the Governor of State in cases of resignation or death. Unlike the House of Regulars, Provinces are only to have 2 senators. These senators serve a 4-year term and can be re-elected as many times as they want.

All delegations and meetings of the Senate are held in the confines of the Parliamentary building in Trescott; the House of Regulars have a seperate building where members may debate the issues. The structure from which the Representatives of the House debate their issues, are not too far away from Parliament.

[b]Senator Requirements
-Minimum age of 33 years
-Citizenship of Trescott for more then nine (9) years
-Elected by the Common People
-May be appointed for a set number of time by a Governer of a Province, in cases of emergency

The Legislative Branch - The House of Regulars

The House of Regulars is a part of Parliament which keeps the Parliamentary Senate inn check. Through them, appeals and requests from the common citizens are made to Parliament. House members will often at time debate new laws or acts created by the Parliamentary Senate, and change them if necessary. The role is reversed if the House of Regulars make a law or act. If that is the case, then the Senate will debate and change the law or bill if necessary. Both government bodies need to agree and pass the finalized version of said bill or law before sending it to the imperator.

Most of the House of Regulars is consisted of middle-class citizen who were elected by their fellow citizens. These representatives represent the people of their provinces. Unlike the Senate, the number of House members are determined by the population of a province. For every 50,000 citizens located in a province, the province can elect another representative. Representatives serve a 2-year term. They may be re-elected as many times as they want.

The House of Regulars is headed by the Archduke of Trescott, who is currently: Archduke Lucifer

Representative Requirements
-Minimum of 27 years of age
-Citizenship of Trescott for seven (7) years
-Elected by the People

Constitution

The Constitution of Trescott is a document written in the late 1400's, that describes the two branches of Parliament. These branches were to be the Parliamentary Senate and the House of Regulars. The document states that the Parliamentary Senate and House of Regulars would be the two branches to make laws for the nation. However, the current monarch can also propose laws. Each part of Parliament comes with a check and balance system to make sure one office of power was not too powerful then the other (excluding the monarch of course). The rest of this constitution are the details on what the government can, and cannot do. This document ensures the right of a free, and mostly uncorrupted nation. It was written by the current monarch of that time (though history does not clearly say), and members of Parliament.

Judicial System

The Judicial System is ran like an average court, judging cases with the final verdict going to the jury. The Supreme Court is the head of the system. It has 7 members, who serve for life or until retirement. These members are elected by Parliament, with the recommendation from the imperator/empress. All cases involving Parliament or the imperator/empress, will be tried by the Supreme Court. Cases involving Parliament members are also tried by the Court.

Though the Judicial System does fall into some of the jurisdictions of the Minister of Justice, the actual hearings and decisions on how to run the court system falls to the Supreme Court. The Minister of Justice can have a say in hearings and trials, but his/her jurisdiction falls in range of crime and punishment, rather than the actual system of law.

State Provinces

The Nation of Trescott is divided into provinces. Each province has its own Governor of State, appointed by the people or manually appointed by Parliament. Each province has its boundaries and rights. These rights could include gay marriage, gun rights, and etc. Provinces range in size, but for a land to become a province, the general people living in that area has to be 50,000. Then that area can apply to Parliament to become a province.

Colonial/Protectorate Management

The management of a colony founded by people whose roots trace back to Trescott, are left to the people of said colony to decide, in a general sense. The people are left with the power to make decisions for themselves without the interference of the Imperium. These executive/community decisions are entirely democratic, based on the value that all people of different races and genders are guaranteed the same liberty to vote, and would result in the change of the colonies for better or worse depending on their decisions. While general and state decisions are not to be interfered with by the home country, the Golden Imperium will interfere if a colony is threatening to violate the Bill of Colonial Possessions that was set up by Parliament at the time of its founding.

A protectorate shall be defined by the Golden Imperium as a nation who had previously signed and agreed to enter a defensive (big brother) pact with the Golden Imperium. This defensive pact shall provide the nation at hand with complete protection from the Golden Imperium, at the expense of a reduced government and say in international affairs without the consent of the able-body of the Imperium. If said protectorate is found violating the Bill of Colonial Possessions, it shall be immediately removed from a defensive pact with the Golden Imperium.

A colony will always be managed by an Parliament elected Governor-General. This Governor-General would have been nominated by Parliament itself, or by the Prime Minister or Emperor. He/She will head the government of the colony, along with its elected council or government. The Governor will have to abide by the rules set in motion by the elected-council, but he/she is in overall charge of the well-being of said colony.

A protectorate will be entitled to the protection of the Golden Imperium. Said nation will be managed by its own government, however, with a lessened say in international affairs. A representative will be sent from the Trescottian government to oversee that the protectorate is being managed well.

Annexed/Conquered Nations

When a nation is conquered or annexed by the Golden Imperium, two outcomes result from this. One of those options are reserved for a kingdom, ruled by a monarch and its royal family. This nation would be allowed to keep its current ruler (at the choice of the current Imperator and Parliament), but only as a regent. The true ruler of said kingdom would be the current Emperor of Trescott. If the ruler of the conquered/annexed nation is not suitable to rule (as of the choice of Parliament and the current Emperor), then said ruler would either be removed from power or executed along with his family to prevent any chance of uprisings or dissatisfaction amongst the nobles.

The second outcome, if the nation does not have a ruler of royal descent, would be to remove the current government from power and replace the head of this government with a Governor of Region. Then the governor of region would fill in his appointed cabinet with people who have been screened and deemed worthy by the Trescottian Government. Though Governor of Regions usually pick some of the old former cabinet to prevent dissatisfaction amongst the newly conquered/annexed nation.

Important Bills and Legislations

The Bill of Colonial Possessions

Article I - The Formation of a Colony or Protectorate

Section One - Establishment of a Colony or Protectorate

Any nation wishing to become under the banner of the Golden Imperium, whether as a a colony or a protectorate, must first send a letter to the head of nation (in this case, the emperor of Trescott himself) stating as to why said nation would want to come under the protection and infleunce of Trescott. Such reasons could be of diplomatic means, defense, or mutual protection in exchange for exclusive rights. Whatever the reason, nations must be as formal as possible in these requests.

The Golden Imperium has the power to reject or accept the proposal at any time. If a nation is rejected, its head of state will be immediately informed as to why. If a nation has been accepted to be under the care of the Golden Imperium, its leader shall be notified immediately.

Any accepted nation will be put on a two-week (real-life time) trial so that the Golden Imperium can become better acquianted with said nation. During this two-week trial, the Golden Imperium will decide if the nation at hand is worthwhile to come under the protection and leadership of Trescott. Those nations who are in the two-week trial must follow all rules stated in this Bill.

At the end of any two-week period of trial for any candidate nation, the Golden Imperium will finalize its decision on whether or not to accept the candidate nation as a Colony/Protectorate, with a majority vote from Parliament.

Section Two - Independence of a Colony or Protectorate

A Colony/Protectorate will not be granted independence until the State or said colony/protectorate has proposed a legislation to Parliament, from which it would be voted upon to either proceed forward to the main body of votes, or denied. Said votes will be made with the attendence of every able parliament member available at the time, and must pass with a 9/10 (90%) majority. If said legislation is passed into the main body of votes (with another 90% majority), and has thus' passed and made its way to the Prime Minister's desk (from where it can be either vetoed or accepted, at which point Parliament can revise said document and then re-pass it through to the Prime Minister once more) and then to the Emperor's desk (from where it can be eithered vetoed or accepted, at which point Parliament can revise said document and then re-pass it through to the Prime Minister and then to Emperor once more), then the colony/protectorate at argue would have been granted its independence on the twelfth strike of the clock at noon on the day following the passing of such legislation.

Section Three - Dissolvement of a Colonial or Protectorate Agreement

The Golden Imperium reserves the right to, at any time, dissolve the current colonial or protectorate agreement between any nations currently under its wings. If the agreement between a nation and Trescott is dissolved, the Golden Imperium will send a letter of notice to the head of nation stating the reason as to why.

Article II - Rights of a Colony or Protectorate

Section One - International Agreements

A Colony/Protectorate will NEVER make an international decision or treaties without first consulting the homeland. Such agreements must go through the able-government from where it will be decided whether or not to proceed with such proposal or reject it. From there on, the Colony/Protectorate will have an active say on the proposed agreement (with the involvement of the homeland). However, if an agreement threatens to violate the Constitution of Trescott, it would be immediately rejected, regardless of the thoughts of Colony/Protectorate or Foreign State

Section Two - Declarations of War

A Colony/Protectorate shall not have the permission to declare war on any foreign state, unless otherwise instructed so by the Trescottian government. However, if the Golden Imperium or said nation is attacked by any foreign entity, an immediate state of war will exist between Trescott and said colony/protectorate, against the aggressor.

Section Three - Mutual Defense

A Colony/Protectorate will be obliged to enter a fully-committed defensive pact with the Golden Imperium. If the Golden Imperium is threatened by a foreign entity, then said protectorate/colony will be entitled to come to the defense of Trescott. If said colony/protectorate is threatened, then the Golden Imperium will intervene with a diplomatic solution at first, but if needed, will resort to a more militaristic approach in solving the situation at the current.

Section Four - Human Rights

A Colony/Protectorate will not threaten, reduce, or abolish the human rights of any and all human individuals, regardless of ideals, sexuality, or gender. Said colony/protectorate will respect the rights of all human individuals with contempt. These rights are clearly defined in the Constitution of Trescott and the laws which the state of Trescott follow in the World Assembly (for so long as it is apart of).

Section Five - Abolishment of Slave Labor

A Colony/Protectorate will abolish slave labor of any kind. No person, regardless of gender, race, and age, will be forced to work under another human being as said person's "property". Any state permitting of such horrid acts of mankind will be severely punished.

Section Six - Usage of Military Structures

A Colony/Protectorate will allow for the usage of any and all military structures by the Trescottian military, during war and peace times. Though the Trescottian military will not be allowed to do anything that may harm or damage such structures, said nation will not have the right to deny the usage of such buildings at any given time. However, any military personnel of Trescott will abide by the standard rules and regulations of said colony/protectorate.

A Colony/Protectorate does not, however, have the right to use any Trescottian military bases, without the consent of the government.

Section Seven - Open Borders

By agreeing to a Colonial or Protectorate pact, a nation will be encouraged to share open borders with the Golden Imperium. These open borders will not be mandatory. However, Trescottian military personnel are required to be allowed free access between borders.

If a nation agrees to open borders between the Golden Imperium, then any laws regarding the illegal crossing of these borders for any reasons will be invoked. A nation will be entitled to enforce its own laws, or follow those made by the Golden Imperium.

Military

General Overview

The military of Trescott was formally created under the Nationalized Arms Act of 1172. Before then, armies were assembled by sending riders to scour the lands for any and all who could wield a weapon. This proved to be a problem, for by the time armies were assembled, enemies would've made deep intrusions into Trescott. King William The Honorable noticed the problem of not having a standing army. He wrote legislation with the help of his advisors to formally create an army that will always be ready to counter invaders and enemies of the crown. Thus, the Trescottian Army was born. Since the times of King William, the Trescottian Army grew and adapted, becoming one of the most feared armies in the world. By the time it had reached its modernized stage, the Trescottian Army was a deadly force of awe-inspiring reckoning. To this day, the Trescottian Armed Forces exists for one thing: To serve and protect the Kratocracy of Trescott.

Establishment

It is without a doubt that the world and its inhabitants are not perfect. Strife and conflict are all too apparent amongst different people, and different nations. It is in the light of those conflicts that a threat is born. No matter the circumstance; no matter the date or time; War is always looming. Wherever it arises, death and destruction is sure to follow. Though war in its simplest of ideals is a horrific aspect of life, its concept is still a necessity. Because brothers, friends, and strangers are destined to fight each other, accomplishments are made and history is written. Survival is rewarded to those who understand war; death is the punishment for those who do not.

Because of war's unpredictability, nations must be vigilant of ever-growing threats within their sphere of influence. These threats could be from a foreign source, or even within the nation itself. If ever a large-scale conflict does break out, and the lives of many are at stake, the nation must rely on its Armed Forces to combat any and all hostiles. The men and women of a nation’s military are all which stand between the survival of a nation, or its ruin. However, at times, a nation's defense force may be inadequate in combating those forces of a hostile nation/organization. In the event that a force is inadequate of proper protection of a nation and its people, disaster is all but certain. Without the proper response and defense, war would have claimed another victim in the analogs of time.

To ensure that the protection of the Trescottian homeland is provided, a defensive force shall be established. This armed force shall consist of select individuals from the different backgrounds and nationalities of Trescott. They shall have only one overall objective: to defend The Trescottian Quintessence from any and all hostilities. In the course of fulfilling this goal, the Trescottian Armed Forces shall be equipped with custom-made equipment from various arms providers and shall be compensated by the Trescottian government. These brave men and women shall be stationed within every region of Trescott to ensure for a quick and organized response in the wake of alarming trouble. They shall work alongside the local policing forces and aide the local residents in whatever way possible. In this manner, the Trescottian Armed Forces should have fulfilled its purpose and shall continue to do so until the dissolution of the Trescottian homeland. And so, the Trescottian Armed Forces is thus established to protect, serve, and fight in the defense and honor of the Kratocracy of Trescott.

Structure

The Trescottian Armed Forces is managed and organized by a council of military officials from each branch of the military. These military officials convene at a location of secrecy (or via a secure line), usually at the Trescottian Joint Military Operations Center (MJMOC), to form the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare (MMCGW). The council is tasked with maintaining and protecting the various provinces, colonies, and allies of Trescott. Along with its main duties, the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare also oversees the production of Trescottian military equipment, budget spending for each branch, and the promotion of peace and prosperity, via force if necessary. The council abides to laws and amendments passed by The Principate. It is placed under the strict observation of the Trescottian Government, but has the freedom to manage itself and make sound decisions for the better of Trescott. The Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare is the central hub of all Trescottian military related activity. It stands as a proud symbol of freedom and hope amidst a world full of conflict and strife.

A high-ranking military officer is selected from each branch to represent it in the Trescottian Military Council. Selections are taken care of as soon as the review period has ended. The choosing of an officer from a branch is not encumbered by bigotry or dispute. Because of the general belief of the Trescottian government and people, the selection of a ranking officer is neither limited to race, sexuality, religion, or gender. Those who have been nominated to be a part of the council shall serve until a set term limit has expired. Once appointed, the various military officials will work together towards the protection of Trescott and her allies. The set term limit for council members shall be a time of four month.

The Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare elects one of its members to preside over the council. This "Chief General of Military Operations" (CGMO) is elected by his fellow generals/commanders by an aye or nay vote. Once elected, he (or she) leads the Trescottian Armed Forces for a set term limit. A council member elected to this position retains it for a term limit of five months. During the time of a Chief General's term, he has the responsibilities of effectively managing and leading the Trescottian military and its various branches. The Chief General of Military Operations is the overall director of conflicts and defense during his term. However, the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare can, at any time, intervene or block one of his decisions with an aye or nay vote. His status would be that of second-in-command in the Armed Forces, under the Commander-General of the Armed Forces.

If a series of heinous crimes are committed by any member of the presiding council or Trescottian Armed Forces, a swift punishment is dealt by The Principate and the Kratesti of Trescott. Any military official accused of breaking any of the general laws and ideals of Trescott or found committing crimes of serious offense (i.e. Murder, Genocide, etc.) shall be suspended from the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare until an investigation can be launched. Such an investigation shall be headed by the current heads of the Government, and that of The Principate. If any evidence of crimes being committed by any person in the council is found, the general is then be taken into custody by the Trescottian Military Police (TMP). A trial is then to be scheduled to take place. During the trial, if a military official is found guilty of the crimes that they are accused of, then the person-at-hand will then be punished for their actions (depending on the severity) by The Principate and the Kratesti. Furthermore, if a foreign general is found guilty of such crimes while in Trescottian land, the nation from where the charged person had originated from will be contacted so that an investigation can be launched. This investigation shall search for the nation's government (or any member of the government's) involvement in the crimes of their military official. If information is found that the nation had been involved in a general's crimes, then it may risk trade embargos, sanctions, and more. A public vote of aye or nay shall take place in The Principate, as to whether or not a nation shall lose or retain good relations between the Trescottian people. If the former, then a nation shall be nationally sanctioned and lose all agreements between them and the Trescottian government (i.e Trade Rights, Special Military Movement, etc.) for a set number of days. A nation shall lose all the benefits that come from these agreements, and must wait until the Trescottian Government sees fit to grant said nation back such privileges.

The Trescottian Armed Forces consists of four main military branches. These branches are: The Trescottian Strategic Defense Force (TSDF), The Trescottian Oceanic Navy (TON), The Trescottian International Aeronautics Response Force (TIARF), and the Trescottian Service of Special Operations (TSSO). Individually, the branches highlight the different specialties of modern warfare in the Trescottian Armed Forces. They are financed by the Trescottian National Treasury (as well as the Treasury's many banking assets), and managed by the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare. The three branches have their own unique ranking system, military equipment, bases, etc. Each branch shall operate under separate clauses of the Trescottian Military Doctrine, but in the end, the four sections of the Trescottian Armed Forces work together to accomplish their overall objective: the protection of the Trescottian Empire and her allies. These four branches are the heart of the Trescottian Armed Forces. Without them, the Trescottian Military would be a dysfunctional organization.

The various branches is headed by one leading military official from each branch. Each "General of [Aerial, Naval, Ground, Special] Operations" (condensed version vary) are appointed by the current Chief General of Military Operations. The main duties of a General of [insert branch] Operations shall be to maintain and regulate their own branches, promote the ideals of Trescott, and to follow the instructions of the current Chief General of Military Operations and the Trescottian Military Council of General Warfare. Each appointed official serve until a set term limit has expired. The term limit for the General of [insert branch] Operation shall be the same as the Chief General of Military Operations (five months).

The Trescottian Strategic Defense Force (TSDF)

The Trescottian Strategic Defense Force is the largest branch of the Trescottian Armed Forces. Many of the volunteers or drafted men from the various state provinces of Trescott are categorized by speciality - usually by the standards of modern ground-based warfare - into this one branch. Because of its size, The Trescottian Strategic Defense Force is a unique branch of the Trescottian Military because of many soldiers' different skills. Having a variety of expertise in one section of the military allows for a variety of sub-branches to be formed. These sub-branches of the Strategic Defense Force range from the regular infantry, to medical, to armored divisions. The overall goal of the Trescottian Armed Defense Force and its sub-branches is the overall ground-based defense for each Trescottian asset and ally. However, not only is the Trescottian Strategic Defense Force tasked with the aiding of ground-based defense for each Trescottian territory and ally, but it is also used for humanitarian and policing assignments as well. Because of the size of Strategic Defense Force, and also because of its ability to adapt to any given situation (with its many sub-branches), the TSDF is one of the most respected and feared collaboration in the known-world.

Personnel in Service

The Trescottian Strategic Defense Force accounts for Fifty-Five percent (55%) of Trescott's total Armed Forces. Its active personnel primarily consist of those who are ages 18-35, although, this age range is subject to flexibility.

Infrastructure

Science and technology

Image
Touchscreen devices in Trescott
The Monocratic Quintessence of Trescott has always been an avid promoter and leader in the scientific and technological innovations. While not boasting the strongest of military advancements (and usually acquiring technological improvements from foregin sources), the Trescottian scientific community does have a strong agricultural development sector, as well as being a leader in promoting the usage of environmentally friendly energy sources. Though there are a few collective groups of scientific minds located throughout the Trescottian nation that work for a common goal of scientific improvement, reasearch in a field of science is left primarily to the individual. Trescott welcomes creative people from all over the world. It hopes, that one day, new innovations can come from the hard-labor of individual thought. Although the Monocratic Quintessence is an avid promoter of science, most funding for research usually comes from the private sector.

Technology in Trescott has rapidly improved over the centuries. Having since entered the Atomic Age (with the first Trescottian Atomic Bomb being tested and detonated around the early 1950's), a good amount of the country's military vehicles (primarily Naval vessels) are nuclear-powered. However, though nuclear plants have been a reliable source of energy to the Trescottian state for many years, possible meltdowns from these plants have led to the recent development and research of new, renewable energy sources. This research has led to the construction of many solar grids throughout the Trescottian nation, along with dams to provide hydropower. Although Trescott is a leading nation in the usage of environmentally friendly energy sources, fossil fuels continue to be the main provider of energy throughout the nation. However, predictions of an eventual replace of fossil fuels with new, innovated means of energy production has stirred hopes for many that the nation will become the first of many to switch completely to cleaner, efficient energy sources.

A promoter in the advancement of human intellect and capabilities, the Trescottian government has made it clear that advancements in the Trescottian life-style is affected by the course of human invention. With the introduction of the Internet around the late 1980's, the Trescottian government has thus encouraged the usage of computers and other technological devices to the entirety of the nation. As the use of personal computers and cellphones have grown substantially over the past decades, improvements to the Internet and electronic devices have been made. Wireless phones have become common, with built in features allowing for users to access the Internet using Wifi connections, text, and many more features. The stress for improved computer software have led many private manufacturers to up the standards of the average PC. Now, most computers and laptops are designed for certain categories of usages (i.e. Playing video games, office work, etc). In addition, the usage of "touch-screen" features have also become popularized by the media. Devices such as phones, hand-held touch pads, and even some monitors have the ability for users to directly interact with the interfacing of the technology. In addition, some homes are now equipped with an arsenal of said "touch-screen" features, such as automated commands (starting a sink, turning on the washer, turning on lights (clap activated included)) in one master control unit. These "touch-screen" features have also been included in automobiles. Although, such advanced technology is limited for the rich and wealthy. In the future, the culture of the Trescottian people will continuously change as more and more new technology is developed.

Culture

People

The Trescottian people are hard-working and intelligent. They are practical and loving, but they tend to view the government with distaste. This view can be blamed for the nation's long history of kings. Most people feel as though they do not have a say in the government. They feel that only the nobles control the choices for the country, and they do not have a choice whatsoever. However, Parliament does make up for the fact that the nation is led by a king. So for now, the people are contempt, and happy. Any citizen is willing to die for their beloved country.

Image
A typical everyday family

Most of the country is populated by the typical everyday family. These people are the backbone of society, performing the daily tasks needed to keep the country afloat. They are the working men and women of society. However, these men and women all have a beginning. That beginning is in their birth to the world.

As a child, the citizens of Trescott are taught to respect and treat other people kindly. They act as any other kids do in their early-lives... eatting, playing, crying... It isn't until they begin to experience the real-world (school, homework, money, etc.) that the children of Trescott really begin to grow up. Though generally brought up with a mostly easy life-style, the children of the nation face troubles in their early existance. Such troubles are the usual bullying, harassment, and rare racial discrimination. In addition to those, children also face problems within their on family, as many of them usually do in their lifetime. What troubles they do have are eased by Trescott's firm stance on Education and Welfare. The children have access to fine counselars and mentors who nurture their growth and learning from an early age. By doing so, the children grow up to be fine citizens in Trescottian society.

Once the children have reached the age of eighteen (18), then they are considered to be adults in Trescottian society. This is because they had finished most of what they needed to learn to succeed in an average life-style. Now, they have the choice of either attending some of Trescott's finest colleges and academies (some are free), or venturing out into the world to find their calling in life. Whatever they decide to do, the consequences that follow afterward are their own burden to bear. For they are no longer kids, but fully-grown adults. The outcome of their lives will now be decided by their own course of actions.

A person who wants to get married is free to perform their own religions' ways of marriage. Trescott does not discriminate against any sexuality or religion, and thus, the sacred vows of matrimony are not restricted to anyone.

Once these adults have lived most of their lives (having grand-children, touring the world, etc.), when they reach the age of sixty-five (65) they would now be considered elderly. They have the choice of either to continue working (for those that take on the elderly still) or retire to a retirement home of choice or any other place they would want to retire to. When death comes, they shall be remembered by their family whom would pay their respects at a marked grave or scatter their ashes into the wind so that they could travel the world forever (See Death Section).

Nobles tend to have the luxuries of life, and have a more relaxed view on it. They see life as a chance to make a name for themselves and their families. Though Nobles do tend to view the common people with some distaste, this doesn't stop them from befriending the people. There have even been cases of noble-commoner marriages, for there is no law forbidding such love. Most Nobles have estates and are immensly rich. The majority of the nobility serve in the government, while others are CEOs of big time corporations. Only .01% percent of the population are nobles.

Clothing
Image
A nobleman in his business garmets

Clothing in Trescott is a free choice. There is no mandate on any required clothes to wear while living in Trescott, for the nation feels a person should have the freedom and choice to choose what they wear. Though some companies and prestigious schools require the wearing of specific type of clothes, the people can decide and choose what to wear when conducting their day-to-day business.

Clothing is usually produced by various stores and companies. Some percentage of the clothes sold throughout Trescott are either homemade or supplied by from foreign companies. However, though the people do have a choice of what to wear in Trescott, the use of live animal fur is prohibited. A person cannot wear clothing decorated by skinned animal fur/skin. These types of clothing were banned because of the government's and people's concerns of poaching animals to extinction. The exceptions to this law, are snake skin belts.

Nobles do not wear casual clothing. Almost on all occasions of business or government, the nobles wear suits and dresses. These suits are stitched with gleaming patches or badges that represent the family they are in. Most families stick to the old tradition of carrying around gleaming rapiers or swords to distinguish their house from others. However, when a noble is not performing a task of importance, they too wear nothing but casual clothing.

Recreation

Image

Most Trescottians love the outdoors. The fascination of the enviroment leads citizens to go out of their way and enjoy the many parks or mountains in Trescott. Mostly all recreational activities are outdoors. The most commonly practiced of these activities is fishing. Almost all Trescottians are avid fishermen. Through these healthy and vigorous activites, many (if all) Trescottians are tough, natural woodsmen, making them very reliable if stuck in the woods or stranded in a remote location.

In addition to them being natural woodsmen, the Trescottian people are also lovers of the sea. They enjoy taking swims in the vast ocean and visiting the beaches that litter the Trescottian coasts. If they cannot get to the coast, the Trescottian people swim in their pools or even in lakes or rivers that are nearby. Wherever they are, many Trescottian enjoy the water, especially on a warm, summer's day.

Although doing things outdoors is a commonly practiced tradition, Trescottians are like any common people. They still watch Television and enjoy doing what many other people around the world like to do. Many of the kids play on their video game consoles and play around with their friends. The adults love to throw parties and go out drinking. The elderly amuse themselves by playing their games and remininsce about that past. To be frank, the people of Trescott are like any others in the world. However, the only distinction they have to most other people, is their distinct love and fondness of nature herself.

Music

The public is free to listen to whatever music they are keen on listening to. Classic Rock and Alernative music have become popular over the past few years. Many new hit singing competitions have been started around Trescott to keep the public interested in the music industry. Radio shows also stream live on the internet and broadcast their genre of music(s) to the entire nation.

However, Nobles tend to enjoy the more classical musics. They view the "loud-rubbish" as an ear-sore and have no part in it whatsoever. To the nobles, such music was beneath them. However, some do enjoy the rebel-rousing music. For example, the current Emperor of the Imperium, Imperator William Ernheart I, enjoys listening to the new Alternative music that had became popular not a while back.

Food

The art of fine dining is very common in Trescott. Most children are taught the proper etiquettes of dining whenever they are old enough to hold silverware. Though this practice has been neglected over the past few years, it is still a common sight for a child to behave properly and accordingly in a dining enviroment, even if said enviroment is in a fast-food resturant. This practice has been usually only taught by noble families.

In almost every home there is a dining room stocked with fine glasses and drinks. On occasions of importance or merriment, the owner of said glasses and drinks would invite his friends or family to drink with him. This is followed by occasional drunkeness and calling of the Trescottian law enforcement.

Much of the food eaten in Trescott is grown, caught, or produced. The majority of the foods are natural, having come from the enviroment and haven't been added with pesticides or other chemicals. There are still measures to assure the food products are not unhealthy or dangerous, but these measures are usually never required.

A special delicacy of the nobles and sometimes common people, is a dish of Trescottian Mudskipper. These fish are small and widely abundant throughout Trescott. If cooked with the right spices and ingredients and served in the right quantity, they become an extremely tasty appetizer/snack.

Death

Image
A Trescottian who has passed away is generally buried in a cemetary

When a Trescottian dies, or is dying, he gets a choice of what he wants his family or friends to do with his body. The most common practice is to bury the deceased in a grave of that person's choosing. There is also the choice of being cremated, though only a few ethnic groups do choose that option.

Once deceased, a person's will shall be read out loud to the present family members to see who receives what from their late family member. A will is not restricted to family members alone, but the common practice is to have one's personal belongings and gifts be given to living family members. If a person does not have any living family present, then the contents of the will shall be kept in safe-keeping until a suitable person can be found to inherit the deceased person's personal items. In the event that no person can be found, and a certain amount of time has passed, the contents of the will shall be donated to charity.

If a Noble or High Empereur dies, then his/her body is buried in the tomb of their respective "House". A noble of high class or someone of royalty dying is a highly immense issue. This is usually because of inheritance to the various sons and daughters. Before being buried, however, a noble's or royal's body would first be set on display for a few days to allow for mourners to pay their respects. Then, the person shall be buried. Only once or twice has a noble or royalty have chosen the option to be cremated.

Religion

Religious Information

Revosism was around and was the main staple of the early Trescottian Order (Trescott was originally ruled as a knightly order sort of thing under Revosism), but under a more religious form, that followed a Christ-like figure, except it was a woman (Revered Mother), who advocated knowledge and reasoning. It Later was reformed and "reinstitutionalized" under the New Trescottian Kingdom, and the "Revered Mother" was made a great advocator of the greater intellectual sphere of thought, rather than a religious figure. It was at this point that the view of Revosism moved away from a spiritual sense, to a more intellectual and goal seeking sense; but variants of the "religion" still linger, though the main view is now of enlightenment through the seeking of individual and inter/outer dimensional knowledges, but the original "religion" played a part in also making certain aspects of Revosism more spiritual (i.e. Concepts, Planes of Dimensions, etc.), which is why Revosism is a sort of mix between religion and intellectual guidance. Trescott remains, to this day, heavily Revosistic, with various influences spreading to Solm and neighboring countries.

An intellectually pseudo-spiritual path through life and beyond

Six Core Values and ways of Life

  • Development - One must understand that the world itself changes and ideals in one time period do not always translate to another. Hence, one must adapt as time moves on to the changing environment. As time changes, everything within the universe changes, and therefore one must understand that.

  • Individualism - To be successful in this world, in the universe, and the ones beyond, one must have the intelligence, the common sense, and the ethics to do the work. One does not understand simple thoughts as they are birthed from the womb; one does not understand complicated thoughts upon graduation of a school of thought. To understand the very simplest thought, one must think differently, act differently, and be prepared for the endless cycle of questioning.

  • Integrity - Always have a relentless desire to learn more. The most important facet of understanding, however, is to not let that desire overpower someone - let it rest solemnly and guide you skillfully and cunningly.

  • Tolerance - One must understand that harmonic life for all will never be accomplished, but this should not deter efforts to do so, as one must understand that the true goal is to have harmonic life be accomplished for as many as possible in the short lifetimes that one lives. One must strive to do so in all ways possible. But, they must understand that all persons do not achieve harmonic life by the same method as another person. Every thing is unique. Every thing deserves a chance at harmonic life.

  • Comprehension - One cannot understand without questioning. One cannot know the truth without questioning. Let questioning guide you, but ensure that it never leads you astray.

  • Wisdom - To understand the world is to realize that one can not understand everything and to be content with the knowledge one has, but always have a relentless desire to strive to learn more. Knowledge is the will to understand and the ability to comprehend, not the accumulation of vast sums of memorized texts.

Goal and Background Information

The goal is to achieve all the knowledge of life and beyond. Once a person achieves intellectual enlightenment, their being becomes intuned with the universe and becomes a fabric of many other enlightened, to the point where they become a part of intelligence itself with projected self-awareness but with a non-physical form; transience. To accomplish this goal, you must travel through the planes of learning and "gain" the knowledges of each plane, as a basis for proceeding to the other planes and a prerequisite to becoming transcience. The planes (known as Etheras) are divided into two Epoxi (Two "Sections" so to speak).

Each plane has an overall "Concept" which can be either an ideal, aspect, or way of life. These Concepts can be interpreted as either gods (spiritual) or guides to the dimensions (intellectual).

The Revosists are divided into Three major factions: The Idealists (Those who believe in the the intellectual interpretation of Revosism and thus deny the overall spirituality of it), The Spiritualists (Those who interpret the Etheras as different dimensions of "god-like" beings (Concepts) but still believe in the core values of Revosism, though they "worship" these Concepts and pray to them for guidance), and a mix of the two groups, The Combinists (Those who believe the intellectual and spiritual aspects of Revosism).

The Planes

Epox of Evanescence

  • First Ethera of Existence - The Knowledge of Existence (Life) (Growth, Memories, Purpose)

  • Second Ethera of Ascension - The Knowledge of Ascension (Death) (Travel, Reflection, Loneliness)

  • Third Ethera of Equilibrium - The Knowledge of Equilibrium (Stasis) (Time, Continuity, Stability)

Epox of Perpetuity

  • Fourth Ethera of Reclamation - The Knowledge of Reclamation (Restoration) (Morality, Preservation, Justice)

  • Fifth Ethera of Illumination - The Knowledge of Illumination (Enlightenment) (Peace, Harmony, Insight)

  • Sixth Ethera of Transcendence - The Knowledge of Transcendence (Beyond) (Will, Intelligence, Conscious)

The Zethra

A disillusioned existance where there is neither real conscious or thought. It is a place where all of those who have veered off the path to enlightenment are subjected to the development of a "lost" thinking, unless they can redeem themselves and resume the journey through the Etheras.

Spreading the Faith

Those who spread the word and teach of the ways of Revosism are called "Docets". They teach of the Two Epoxi and their respective Etheras in places of learning called "Doci's". These teachings may come in a variety of forms, either of Spiritualistic-sense, Idealistic, or Combinistic, which is why Doci's are usually sub-categorized into three specific types. They can be places of Revosistic worship, debate, and/or learning. Regardless, Doci's (Doci, singular) and their respective Docets, all fall under the same category of rank and classification. There is only one difference in Doci's, and that is with Docidiums (singular, Docidium). Docidums are very large structures raised to encompass a vast majority of Revosists and various Revosistic beliefs. They only teach of the core Revosistic values and appeal to all Revosists, regardless of interpretations. Due to their grand scale, only a few are ever present in one nation at a time. The first Docidium, built in Trescott's capital city of Perim was built over a thousand years ago.

All Docets, regardless of interpretations of Revosism, are ranked by their intellectual understanding, committment, and dedication to the core values of Revosism and the world. They all fall under the Conjugation [of Docets], which is divided into the Assemblage [of Peers] (For beginning to lower-moderate Docets) and the Consortium [of the Learned] (For moderate-advanced Docets). All Docets are arranged into a universal chart of rank.

The Conjugation [of Docets]

  • Adept (Tier I-II)

  • Sixth Order (Tier I-V)

  • Fifth Order (Tier I-IV)
