Parties swing into action: RSP in lead by 14 points

President Alexandrescu has been aiming at the young voter

Both major parties have swung into full election mode, with the RSP and NLP battling to secure highly contested constituencies and to gain support of the less political minded Rodarian youth. President Alexandrescu has spent the past two days visiting universities and factories that operate large numbers of apprenticeships, something he has vowed to expand to fight youth unemployment. Valeriu Antonescu, leader of the National Liberal Party has been leading the NLP campaign around the rural south, aiming to shoring up support from Rodarian's rural communities through the promotion of more free market based agricultural policies. However RSP MPs in the region have campaigned for the opposite, citing success over farmer driven agriculture policies. Elsehwere NLP MPs have been battling hard to discredit the RSP government's ability to rule from 2009 to today, citing scandals, slow reaction to popular demand and growing authoritarianism.

The RSP election slogan has appeared on it's website and across social networking, "A Christian Rodarion is a Rodarion to be proud of" has been recieved well. However for the first time since 1955, the vocal support of the Church for the RSP has been incredibly mute, this placed down upon the fact that in 2011 the RSP government passed through the Election Bill, which barred the Church from actively supporting one political party, but it's publications may pledge support.

An early poll published yesterday revealed that the RSP was in the lead by 14 points, giving it 54% to the NLP's 40%. However RodPoll has stated that the RSP may most likely take further lead in coming days. Both parties published their manifestos early this morning, with the RSP under Alexandrescu promoting major reforms to education, women's rights, civil liberties and an end to state control over independent media with regards to elected officials. The NLP for its part remains committed to fully privatising Rodarion's economy, making education more equal, restricting state control over private lives, and it's primary policy, working towards tackling police brutality and restricting police powers, which is summarised in the slogan, "An NLP Rodarion, is a free Rodarion".

Many observers have stated that the NLP has yet again proposed the same manifesto since 2005, one which has failed to win them an election since. Minister for the Interior Radu Hasdeu has slammed the NLP's promises, "Yet again we see the same promises, the same old story from the NLP. Who cry wolf over authoritarianism and police state like antics. What can be said, is no thought, no real recognition of the current day, a bad party and clearly incapable of the ever changing nature of government".

The RSP is expected to lose heavily in the northeast which has been let down by poor RSP government's decision to end to the conflict with Premislyd over Vesarius Province, allowing the practicing of Islam and exclusing Premislydic rights to the economic assets such as mines and other natural resources. More nationalist elements of the RSP have visited the region in order to reassure the voters of the RSP's Christian Nationalist founding ideology.

In a related foreign policy success, Vice President and Foreign Minister Ionela Istratescu has announced that the Rodarian government has been conducting extensively negotiations with the Spherian government over their admittance to the Richmond Cooperation Organisation. In a private summit, both foreign ministers signed the Rodar-Spherian Co-Prosperity Agreement, which will see extensive investment of infrastructure in the ESC by Rodarian businesses and the construction of a high speed rail network between the two, and major trade agreements. One official stated that Rodarion will invest some $5.5 billion into Spherian infrastructure projects and other construction plans. However the Spherian entry into the RCO recieved most of the attention at the press conference.

Tommorrow the President and NLP leader will head back to Romula, to face each off on a live television debate, the leader of the People's Movement was not invited due to the party's absence in Parliament due to having no seats.

Valeriu Antonescu vows open government and a new approach to Rodarion's challenges

Leader of the National Liberal Party, Valeriu Antonescu has vowed should his party be elected into government, to transform the Rodarian government into an 'open, respectful and free government' and also continued to crticise the 58 years of RSP government as the cause of Rodarion's relative isolation from it's neighbours, aggression and dangerous extremist currents operating in Rodarion society. Speaking to supporters in Urceni, he stated "It is time for Rodarion to break out of the cycle of extremism and ignorance at the wishes and needs of the great Rodarian people, we need an open government, which gives importance to the voices of which elect them and the National Liberal Party can do it". However the sudden and short election time has resulted in heavy criticism of the NLP from voters and members themselves, according to one rumour should the NLP lose the coming election (on the 28 August), Antonescu will be removed as leader and the party will address it's principles and policies.

As it stands the RSP under President Tiberiu Alexandrescu has seen a sudden surge in the polls, with some 68% of voters being earmarked to vote for them. The NLP for its part has also risen in the polls in expence of the People's Movement, which advocates a populist platform and demands the removal of most of the Church's powers in the political system.

RodGov, the primary poll provider expects the election not to produce a ground breaking result, they expect the RSP to gain at least 12 new seats. Dr. Vladu Vladimirescu gave this statement, "what we're seeing in this election is nothing amazing, both parties are chanting relatively the same tune, albeit some differences, but the main issue is that both are offering the same differences. I expect an RSP government to be returned, but for the first time in many, many decades we have an RSP leader and President who has the charisma and ability to push forward a new RSP and do what he intends to do".

Valeriu Anontescu became leader of the NLP in 2009 following the party's defeat in the election, although their seats increased by 32. He reformed the party into a more broad platform, incorporating several left wing, central and right wing policies in order to shore up support. However the NLP lacks the popular and vocal support the RSP recieves, since the election was announced, the RSP has arranged and carried out hundreds of rallies across the Papal Republic. Last night the 'God's Light Rally' attracted 300,000 people in Moreni, President Alexandrescu is expected to visit Bralia later today and speak before an estimated 840,000 people beneath the treasured Christ the Redeemer statue.

Minister of Christian Guidance and Culture, Traian Basescu led a rally in Berbesti on the border with the ESC, he promoted the RSP's successes in the past 20 years. "This party has delievered so much to the greatest people on Earth, we have improved our education, opening up to all young people regardless of wealth or social position, because there is no class system in Rodarion, we have promoted this since 1955, because God does not see us in class, he sees us for we are, his children working in his name and we do so with such pride. Our working conditions are unrivalled, the relationship between union and government is unbreakable, our economy is unstoppable and we stand united as ever against those who envy us and would do us harm because of that sin".

Father Anton Malaxa was arrested yesterday for speaking in support of the RSP, he was given a warning that he cannot speak publically in support of a political party during election times because of him being of the cloth. He apologised and travelled to Bacău for the Cancer Charity Run. 30 other members of the Clergy have been warned over speaking in support of political parties, something which to many has been a major issue with Rodarion's troubled democratic process. In 2009 the RSP government passed a law which banned the Clergy from becoming involved in elections.

The Live Debate

Both party leaders appeared on live television last night for the first political debate since 2009. Most questions and issues were centered around foreign policy, especially the diabolical invasion of Armavira by the Hegemonic Union and growing accusations of state sponsored terrorism, other issues included preserving the current economic growth rate and continuing the major infrastructure projects in western Rodarion. President Alexandrescu is regarded as the winner, as it became clear that the NLP and its leader Valeriu Antonescu had no real solid plans for the economy or for infrastructure which is struggling especially in Western Rodarion.

With four days of campaigning left, the RSP has been advised to maintain it's current momentum if it does indeed wish to return to its pre-2009 majority size.

BALTAREN, BAHARAQ - The tiny state northwest of Akkadiya has spurred a new wave of problems to the stabilisation and democratisation process of the sub-region, especially during the Baharaqi war in 1985, but now almost 30 years later the wounds are still not healed. There are still well over a dozen Western POWs in detainment by the Baharaqi militarist officials. Furthermore Various sources indicate a presence of WMDs within its borders, even though the Baharaqi leaders reject the accusations.

Two weeks ago, President Shalom requested an exchange of prisoners which according to the Coffee Party movement is "absolute madness". Claiming that the exchange is not on even terms, since there are well over 350 Terrorist prisoners to be released from the highly classified Victoria prison. "It's an unlawful act," proclaims protester Russel Johnson waving the 7-star in front of the House of Legifero Omnibus. "I lost faith in the government, if this is what they want."

Nobody blames him, for he is one of the few survivors of the 2003 Hilton Hotel bombing in Georgeston a city with a dominant Western majority in Talibastain. There were 154 casualties of which 141 confirmed fatalities, which then accounted as the biggest act of terrorism in the states until the Sincere Tower bombing by the TPSDF [Tehraani People's Self-Defence Force] in 2009. The perpetrators of the Hilton bombing were affiliated with the Baharaqi regime, and the crime was later openly applauded by its leaders.

This means that the militarist banana republic, with its belligerent attitude is an enemy of the state, proven over and over again. A military occupation of Baharaq was profoundly planned but was halted by Candahasti and Hegemonic Union leaders. Now the ISA [Intelligence Service Agency] certified that satellite imagery indicate an evident presence of Weapons of Mass Destruction in the northernmost province of Baharaq, Al Hardesh. If these sources are in fact 'evident', then it can cause great concern to the Westerners living in Pardes' Middle East.

The Government subsequently requests OPA inspectors to verify if these sources are reliable, likewise to ensure Baharaq's compliance with policies concerning Baharaqi production and use of weapons of mass destruction. The Western CDI council also requested a seating in laesico with the members of CDI in regards to the ongoing events in Pardes. But as for now, it seems, the government averts direct military intervention, especially now that the armed conflict in Armavira unfolded which intensified the already fragile bilateral relations between the Papal Republic and the Hegemonic Union.

Rodarians head to the polls

President Alexandrescu has used the final day for television appearances

Polls opened at 6.30am thismorning, the leaders of the two political parties have rallied around the last chance to gain support from voters. President Alexandrescu has used the final day and last night to appear on television and radio, hoping to catch as many voters as possible for today's election. He spent two hours on an PRRB special programme, as well as spending two hours on Good Evening Rodarion last night. National Liberal Party leader Valeriu Antonescu spent the final day campaigning in Bacau. As it stands, RodGov declares that polls suggest the RSP is at 68% and the NLP at 31%. Many political analysts expect an RSP victory yet again and a further five years in government, however they suspect a fall in seats for the RSP. Though most agree that Valeriu Antonescu will be removed as leader of the opposition by this evening.

The past two weeks have produced major tense debates and division within the Rodarian electorate, however turnout is expected to fall tomorrow due to the hot weather and the recognisable similar promises. Yet the RSP is not wishing for a enthusiastic election, simply a average election that produces a continued majority. Somthing to many analysts has helped them reclaim some lossed support following the poor standing the party has reached since the start of the year.

Speaking on Good Evening Rodarion, President Alexandrescu expanded this, "I nor the party wants this election to be a ground breaker, it simply isn't that vital of vote, the next election will be. Because following this, should the RSP and I be re-elected we can truly begin our work to continue to build a prosperous Rodarion, an open Christian Rodarion. The NLP has failed to even grow out of 2009, they're stuck in the past whilst the RSP looks to the future and the path set before us by the Good Lord".

He continued onto plea to the Rodarian people, "I ask you to vote for the Rodarian Salvation Party again, to lead this great nation onward still towards continued prosperity and growth, mistakes were made this year, horrific mistakes, but as President, I am not my predecessor, I do not intend to fail the Rodarian people as he did, the Party has learned its lesson, a lesson that will haunt our collective minds, which will remind us of our obligations to serve the Rodarian people with humility, care and kindness, give the RSP the chance to right our wrongs, before you all and God himself".

President Alexandrescu has rallied the RSP towards improving its standing, promising freedom of media and the release of political prisoners and a major reform to women's rights allowing them to teach in all boys schools. He also wishes to reform the social welfare system, making it more streamlined towards the most needy and elederly, vowing to cap gas and electricity bills for the elderly at 50 Leu a year.

The NLP has remained on the 2009 pledge, offering political reform, end to state media, reduction of the states roll in everyday life and a further privatisation of the economy. The NLP has been heavily criticised for not adapting their manifesto to best meet the needs of the population, or addressing new issues such as the rising cost of living.

Earlier today, the number of voters was much higher than anticipated, the National Electoral Commission has increased its estimated turnout from 76% to 89%, up 13% from 2009.The atmoshpere in the capital appears to be that of excitment, all 285 seats in the capital are held by the Rodarian Salvation Party and it would seem that the governing party is calm in knowing that it's support though less than in 2012 will still produce a return to government. However today has not gone on without incident, last night 29 people were arrested following a violent confrontation between the People's Movement and the Orducii, six people were hospitalised. This has been a continuous occurrance throughout the election two weeks, further expanded calls from within the NLP and RSP to legally ban the People's Movement due to its anti-Church policies which go against the 1905 constitution.

Eight people were arrested this morning after they threw eggs at an NLP MP in western Brailia. Concerns over political stability after the results announcement tomorrow is concerning the National Police Command, who wish to preserve stability over fears of a return of the troubles seen in May.

Due to Rodarion's electronic voting system, the mid-poll results are expected to take place at midnight, many expect an RSP victory to be made clear by then. Poll stations will remain open until 9.30pm.

RSP set for victory

President Alexandrescu voting in his constituency, RSP has already retained 286 seats

Following today's poll opening at 6.30am, the midnight exit polls have indicated a comfortable RSP electoral victory. According to the National Electoral Commission, the RSP has secured 286 seats so far, with no losses or gains confirmed as of yet. Estimates by the NEC put the final RSP seat count at 579 seats, an increase of 36. The NLP is expected to lose those 36 seats, due to it's poor standing in already counted constituencies.

Turnout is estimed at 91% despite the 31 degree heat experienced today, over 985.4 million votes have been counted with a further 1.3 billion to be counted.

The final result will be announced at 12.00pm tomorrow.

Rodarian Salvation Party secures 15th electoral victory

Celebrations began at midnight following the announcement from the exit-polls

The National Electoral Commission has confirmed that the Rodarian Salvation Party has been returned to government for the 15th time following yesterdays election. The RSP won 584 seats, an increase of 42, further expanding its majority despite concerns it would's majority would fall due to blunders made by the Ceausescu administration. The National Liberal Party lost 45 seats, with the People's Movement gaining 5 seats in the western city of Voineasa, that declaration caused some heckling by audiences at the announcement ceremony at 12.00pm. NLP leader Constantin Pîrvulescu is expected to resign as leader later this evening, following an agreement he made with his party in 2012. President Alexandrescu is to be reconfirmed as President of the Papal Republic this afternoon by his Holiness.

Celebrations however took place hours before the announcement, as thousands stayed up late for the exit-polls which continued from mid-night till 3am this morning. At 2.46am, it became relatively clear that the RSP had secured its victory, resulting in thousands of people taking the streets in celebration, huge fireworks displays took place in Romula and Bacau. 38 people were arrested following clashes between the People's Movement and the Orducii, as the People's Movement supporters in Voineasa took the streets. The Office of the Sacred College of Cardinals has revealed that 173 Cardinals have written a letter to the Holy Father expressing desires to ban the People's Movement due to it's anti-church government policies.

What are we to expect now?

Throughout the campaign, the Rodarian Salvation Party vowed many different things, vastly different from previous elections. President Alexandrescu is seen as a moderate within the RSP, yet has managed to secure the support of the RSP's mostly hardline MPs. President Alexandrescu has vowed to reform woman's rights, he wishes to reform their position within education, opening up all boys schools to women teachers as well as the introduction of mixed schools. He also wishes to crackdown on the teaching of evolutionism within independent schools, by forcing them to teach both creationism and evolutionism. Women will also be able to enter the legal sector, which will hopefully see for the first time ever in Rodarian history, women judges.

Economic wise, the RSP wants to bring more women into the workplace, something which may contribute a further 3% to economic growth. Heavy industry will have further trade union influence, further securing the solid relationship between the government and the worker. Social welfare will be capped for those earning over 34,000 Leu, especially those who recieve single parent support, disability benefit will increase by 5%. 580,000 homes are to be constructed by the end of the year, with a set annual target of 860,000 from 2014 onwards.

Defence wise, the RSP has vowed further expansion of the Papal Navy and major reforms to the benefits of voluntary service after national service, by removing all tax burdens except National Health Duty, giving armed forces personnel free health and dental care as standard but also limiting the financial difficulties on the spouses of soldiers by removing all taxes. The Papal Army will increase by 120,000 personnel, alongside a budget increase of 3.4% mostly towards the research and development of improved ballistic missiles and missile defence.

The media is also to face a major revamp, with the removal of major restrictions on media freedom in regards to critisms of the elected government. It shall be made legal for papers to criticise the President and Cabinet ministers, papers may also publish columns on Church activities, albeit without any negativity. Playwrites who produce works critical of the elected government will no longer face censorship or punishment, over 3,000 journalists, playwrites and others will be released from political imprisonment as part of the RSP's move towards 'Cooperation through Openess'.

The biggest moves will be seen in foreign policy, with President Alexandrescu promoting the development of close ties with Rodarion's direct neighbours, especially the Western Confederation and the Social State of Natalia. Further ties will be developed with Orlessia as well as futher Rodarian led projects in regards to the Richmond Cooperation Organisation.In regards to the Hegemonic Union, the President has vowed a more bold and direct policy, prompting concerns over a Rodarian intervention in support of Armavira. Speaking two days ago, the President vowed a more direct approach to the HU.

"They have invaded Armavira, by extension they have invade God's Kingdom. If they have the will to commit such a crime and such a suicidal move, then we shall we commit ourselves to a more direct approach, we shall do our upmost to keep the threat away from our door, we shall stamp down the closest threat ever so more boldy, we shall keep the closest threat across the sea ever so quiet, we shall protect our way of life by whatever means that be at our disposal". He said.

The RSP won 1,453,411,092 votes, 66.5% of the votes cast, the NLP secured 728,360,807 votes, coming a far second with 33.4%, the People's Movement recieved 5.3 million votes a 3.2% share of the overall count.

Artyomsk, Gratislavia - After months of peaceful rallies and seven years of near constant quarterly petitions Tsar Peter Kulikov, his Imperial Majesty of Gratislavia has agreed to peacefully concede powers of government to an elected legislative Parliament. While Kulikov shall retain powers of state this is seen as a monumental leap in Gratislavian history as for the first time since 932 A.D. A Democratic Gratislav state will exist. In saying such Kulikov has announced that the new Gratislavian government shall be led by a Bicameral Duma or Congress consisting of the "Cabinet of Gratislavia" and the "Parliamentary Body of Gratislavia" operating under Dualistic principles. Likewise Kulikov has assured the people of Gratislavia that a formalized Constitution shall be written and approved by an elective body securing their rights by this time next year.

On the topic of the actual voting system Gratislavia is expected to adopt a Proportional Majority-Minority Democratic system to decide it's legislative structure. Kulikov will retain Government powers till December 1st, one month after the election day now set on November 1st. Kulikov has given parties and coalitions till September 30th to register for the vote and justifies this limited campaigning period as the only legitimate way to quickly and efficiently establish a Democratic government and absolve absolute government power invested in the Monarchy. Some critics of this policy however have stated that it's a way to force Gratislavia into a Pro-Monarchy elected government though polls show the majority disagree with this assertion.

A major question regarding these elections is what stance the Majority party of the new Parliament will take on Gratislavia's continued war effort in support of the The League of Imperial Nations against the Unified Front Alliance. With Gratislavia now preparing to debut its new model navy for the first time major questions are being raised about the possibility of peace with the United Front Alliance, should the majority party favor a pacifistic and non-interventionist foreign policy. In saying such GNNN reporters set down with two major projected party leaders from opposite side of the spectrum to discuss the war in Karthay and Rhydin.

Kirill Maksimov, PhD of Law and former Dean of Legal Studies at Suvekov University as well as possible Parliament representative of the National Conservative Party of Gratislavia gave us a rundown on his parties view about the war. "Victory in Karthay is not victory over the UFA, we as a people have a responsibility to the fallen to pursue this war until total victory is achieved in Karthay, BYD, and the Rhydin region itself. It is the opinion of the NCPG that until the League as a whole deems peace an appropriate action for the entirety of nations involved in the conflict that Gratislavia should continue the war against the UFA and seek the destruction of Alliance capacity to wage war and spread mass destruction."

Boris Fyodorov, graduate of Artyomsk University and PhD of Foreign Studies and Sociology. As well as possible Parliament representative of the the Social Labor Party of Gratislavia had this to say on the war against the UFA. "It is the opinion of the SLPG that the war should be ended as quickly as possible, preferably after a victory in Karthay and in BYD. While we understand the importance of defeating the UFA where we are already engaged it is our opinion that Gratislav lives are too precious to begin a third front against the UFA or take the fight directly against UFA nations in an invasion that would cost thousands if not millions of lives. Likewise the immense sums of money needed to wage another front could be better spent improving the lives of our citizenry."

Cinigrad, Capital of Estovakiva - Today the Assembly of Stratocratic Generals approved a humanitarian aid plan that was put forth by Minister of Foreign Affairs Marshal Pavel Kherkov himself being supported by several other high ranking assembly members the plan was quickly approved by 86% of the assembly in the upcoming poll and is soon to be implemented with the approval of the Autarch.


Pavel Kherkov stressed that it is being implemented so fast is due to the recent talks with the Megrelian goverment assisted by the Hegemonic Union regarding the crisis which did deeply concern the Autarch due to the situation of the many innocents which has been scarred due to the ongoing hostilities.


"The Megrelian Goverment did personally contact the Assembly of Stratocratic Generals, through me and after talks in Cinigrad. Where we, were shown information and updates on the refugee situation within Megrelia and its assosicated humanitarian disaster which is becoming worse every day, which is why we we are responding so quickly with the aid the people desperatly needs, which translates into modern medicine food, shelters, and goods which will make their temporary displaced lives much easier"


The Assembly of Stratocratic Generals has as well allowed the useage of several billions to be sendt as official development assistance, to the Megrelian goverment which shall be used to contribute to the Megrelian society as a whole.

VIRIDIAN CITY, STATE OF THE CAPITOL, WESTERN CONFEDERAL STATES - Another rally in central square led to commotion, being it is a pro-Tarsas rally a dozen of the VPD personnel had to be deployed to counteract anomalies. Despite the efforts of the Viridian Police Department they failed to prevent escalation. Two Tarsan supporters have been hit by stones and left with critical injuries. Four stone-throwers, predominately of Akkadiyan descend, have been arrested and taken into custody, whilst 20 are still on the run.

The Tarsan government has been a valuable partner of the Confederacy for many decades, both Confederates and Unionists tend to agree. The relations with the Enlightened State dates back to where fellow Tarsan emigrants settled on the shores of the Confederacy and-quickly integrated into the Western society. According to the latest estimate of the Domestic Western Investigation Agency 1 out of 20 Westerners have Tarsan ancestry, most of which perceived the Enlightened State of Tarsas as their first motherland.

Even now, as a new generation Tarsan Westerners walk through the Viridian Central Square they hold up Tarsan and Western flags. They were supported by other Western patriots, nationalists and conservatives. According to a poll on Eaglenews.wst as many as 87% said they see Tarsas and the Tarsan people as having a special connection with the Confederation and Western people even though both are relatively on the opposite side of Pardes.

On a political level the Tarsan and the Western government seem to be on good terms as well. As former Western President H. Truman during a joint press conference in Civitas Tarsae said: "We will always be united." Giving words of support to Tarsas in its war with Canhadast, which was at the time when Canhadast declared its involvement in the Baharaqi war, forcing the Western soldiers to leave the state of Baharaq. Vice versa, the Tarsan government never in a way condemned the military occupation of Talibastain, in contrast to every other nation on the sub-region.

The Azuran Komitet today announced an ambitious new social initiative designed to increase the qualitative status of the new Civilian Loyalty Facilitation Quotas in designated areas of the Evenguard. The move, announced this afternoon by Honorable Counsel to Her Empyreal Grace the Kozhukhina Siragan Ryzhkov (pictured Right) comes as an unexpectedly swift implementation of the controversial Azur Reconstitution Acts, a series of initiatives launched by the new regime in Legnica designed to counterbalance with the need for social welfare programs with the need for more stringent state security. The current timetable suggests a possible launch date in early November.

"This plan is absolutely vital to Her Empyreal Grace's grand vision for the future of the Evenguard," Counsel Ryzhkov mentioned in a prepared statement for reporters gathered at the Obsidian Estate today for the public news conference. "It creates a mechanism by which we can distribute aid to those who need it, and protect our vital state functions at the most base level possible."

Among the major programs expected to be rolled out in the coming weeks is a comprehensive education reform package that will require specific input from the Adjutant Commander's Office of Military Enlistment, pursuant to the nation's compulsory enlistment program initiated by the Kozhukhina's penultimate predecessor, Kozhukh Gael Raziya II Colossus. Beginning in 2014, primary school students beginning at the age of six will begin formative drilling to help prepare for the increased military curriculum taught in lieu of mandatory enlistments. A part of this new program is a novel physical conditioning requirement for graduation, which mandates certain physical attributes necessary for primary school students to graduate with their degrees. These measures coincide with increased public funding to the Evenguard's academic nexus for the further development of primary and secondary educational institutions, along with more than $500 Billion in research grants to the Research and Development Bureau of the Conservator Corps.

The highlight of the press conference however was the announcement of the Index Grade for the measurement of the Civilian Loyalty Facilitation Quotas, a controversial initiative designed to ensure cooperation and fealty from all Azuran citizens looking for work in the Evenguard. The measure would require all employers to provide proof of validation on an employee's Index Grade rating, a measurement of the new work requirements necessary to hold employment and receive government assistance. According to Counsel Ryzhkov, most of the grades would be issued for civil service rendered to the Evenguard itself.

"There has to be accountability and fiscal responsibility in every aspect of our government," the Counsel espoused during his closing statement. "For people to gain employment and enrich their lives, they must help their fellow citizens enrich the safety and strength of the Evenguard. This means serving one's duty to Kozhukhina and Country if militarily fit, being able to pass a literacy exam, and being deemed physically fit for emergency reserve service. Without these mechanisms in place, we could never insure the continued viability of our social welfare programs."

The plan, despite drawing criticism abroad from human rights groups claiming that the Legnica government is attempting to extort servitude from the populace in exchange for welfare, is expected to pass in the historic reconstituted Saeculum's first legislative assembly under the new Kozhukhina. The passage will allow the Legnica Government an umbrella of legitimacy as it seeks to clamp down on internal strife and division that has led to increased economic and political instability since the Spring Insurrection which led to the evacuation of the nation's former capital, Tsyion.

385 people arrested for Faith Crimes

Vladimir Bratescu has been sentenced for 98 years

385 men and women have been arrested across the Papal Republic this morning, in one of the largest coordinated police raids in recent history. The National Police Command conducted 302 dawn raids on homes across the country, aimed at collecting citizens who have broke the nation's Sacred Faith Protection Laws, 233 of the condemned are those who have broke the Faith Media Protection Law, through reading illegal material or anti-theological material, the other 152 were arrested for breaking more than one of the Faith Protection Laws, one criminal, Vladimir Bratescu, 24 was arrested for eighteen counts of Overt Sexual Behaviour, six counts of confirmed homosexual behaviour, seven counts of distributing pornograhpy, five counts of reading illegal material and three counts of distributing said material. The Ministry for Christian Culture has stated that the huge operation 'was necessary for the preservation of religious unity and continued social stability'.

The large number of arrests has given credance to circles within the government and Vatican that are requesting stronger restrictions on media and published materials, several MPs have already written to President Alexandrescu demanding the reversal of plans to remove several blocks on the internet to promote openess and media freedoms. Other MPs have threatened to vote against the proposed reforms. Members of the National Faith Preservation Union (NFPU) the largest pressure group in the Papal Republic has voiced outrage and the apparant rampance of faith crimes. The NFPU has even called for Vladimir Bratescu to be executed for the severity of his criminal activities. His case has become a unique one and we have been given details about his crimes and personal life by the National Police Command.

Vladimir Bratescu, born 8th June 1989 in Romula son to a teacher and bank clerk, was brought up in a solid Catholic family and went to a Church School and university in Bralia. It is there that the police suspect he became what is commonly known as a 'sexually minded deviant', he reportedly had many sexual partners and many lecturers and fellow students when asked about him this afternoon by Police said he was very full of himself, both physically and mentally was considered to be sex obsessed. He succeeded in getting his degree in computer science and secured a high paying job at the major bank, LSL National as an IT Consultant. There he also engaged in many sexual activities with his co-workers, including several condemned activites with male co workers. His Office Manager reportedly at the Office Christmas Party he was found to be engaging in low key sexual activities with his personal friend who was a male. Outside of work, he spoke inappropriately about his sex life in public and was addicted to pornography, utilising his computer skills to bypass state censorship, and viewed homosexual material as well as hetrosexual. His activities were spotted by the NPC Online Watch Force and was followed constantly for two months prior to his arrest this morning. He also told his friends how to bypass the censors to view the illegal material, which is against the Faith Preservation Law against Pornography. He also was confirmed to be reading illegal anti-Papal Governance material hosted by an Emmerian website and distributed the website's address to friends and co-workers. He was sentenced to 98 years imprisonment and only escaped the death penalty because the Police could not confirm he engaged in sodomy with women or men.

Upon his arrest, several housemates he lives with, have reportedly gone to the Independent Police Complaints Council to complain over their suposed case that Bratescu was assaulted by police upon his arrest. The IPCC rejected the appeal, however we recieved word that upon his entry to Sister Otillia Prison he was assaulted by other inmates.

Bratescu's case has fuelled further cries from the NFPU and public for tougher state controls over the internet. Speaking to reporters this evening, General Secretary of the NFPU, Father Petre Frudescu stated, "The case of Vladimir Bratescu is perhaps the most disgusting to be presented to myself and the entire nation, he has conducted in such a way that he literally spits upon this nation's morality and the sacrifice of Christ himself, he should be executed for his gross violation of our nation's shared values and morality and the very meaning of our faith".

Other groups that support the reversal of the extensive censorship laws have hit back, the National Association for Civil Liberties, which is now the largest reformist entity in the Papal Republic following the merging of all reformist groups after this year's troubles, has stated that 'the use of Bratescu as a scapegoat for the hardliner's desires for more control and the further development of Rodarion as a religious police state is unacceptable, since Bratescu is a single case, it should not be used as a smoking gun for more repression'.

President Alexandrescu has not commented on the raid or the Bratescu Case, the Holy Father has also not given a comment, but is expected to address the issues arising from today's operation tommorrow at a session of the Sacred College of Cardinals. The National Police Command has heralded today's operation as one the greatest successes against the war on secular crimes ever.

The single-largest appropriations measure in the history of the Azur Saeculum—both past and present—was ratified early Tuesday morning at Vulkanicheskoye. The colloquially-named Voyna Military Act [Cirazur: Voyna Akt] was met with fierce resistance from Progressives and Libertarians due to the increased authority of the government to intervene in times of a national emergency. Conservatives and nationalists praised the measure as a major step forward for the Azure Army and the establishment of two new paramilitary bodies, the Aviagruppa and Gruppa respectively. More than $50 Trillion Valyuta has been appropriated for the measure, which encompasses a wide arc of both intangible directives and materiel gains made by the Conservator Corps of the Evenguard.

The measure, first proposed in 2009 by Order of the Nera Strega commandant John Cailean as a means to prevent the erosion of military control over the territorial dependencies of the Evenguard, was expanded upon and reintroduced by Sovetnik Vasily Karin during the Autumn Session of the 1st Restored Saeculum. Enjoying much support both from the Imperial seat in Legnica and conservative and nationalist voices inside the Vulkanicheskoye, many believe that the vast expansion of military authority was a trade off for the increased spending in entitlement areas of the new Legnica Welfare Index Initiative proposed by Her Grace the Kozhukhina Vespertine I Celeste.

"This is critical for the furthered development of the Evenguard as a world power," General Vache Ardzuni repeated in a statement issued to the press bank gathered outside the hall of assembly awaiting the vote. "Without this measure, Legnica is handcuffed in its ability to forcefully put down dissidents threatening open revolt as we saw during the Midnight Crisis or the Autumn Circle insurrection."

Opponents of the Voyna Act claim that the measure gives almost unlimited emergency authority to the military in times of crisis, rendering the tentative steps towards democratization null and void. It is claimed that, in the event of a national emergency, the military could essentially function as its own form of law and order, imposing itself on the Azur people with its new-found infusion of surplus funds. Advocates of the measure claim that a strong military is vital to the protection of the Evenguard from both internal and external threats, highlighting the slew of domestic crises which took their toll on the Evenguard's ability to remain economically competitive in a fierce Pardesian market.

Among the projects included in the measure is the refurbishment of the Dvoichnykh Liniy, the nexus of high-speed maglev lines running along the northern and southern borders of the Pardesian Azur homeland for the purpose of rapid deployment and military defense. Also included in the Voyna Act is the long-fabled Brigada Stena Projekt, a series of imposing fortifications limiting access through the four largest passes in the Strzelnica Range, including the Vyashchiy Sol Lake Cwm near Neschastnyye. The act also creates the paramilitary Aviagruppa and Gruppa organizations for the burgeoning Komitet institution's deployment, providing a rapid response force to help safeguard Azur interests both domestically and abroad.

Curiously, a hefty appropriation of funds in the Voyna Act is directed towards MNT Khrustal Kholme, an aging supermax prison facility in the heart of the Vustynya Desert in Far East Azura which has been abandoned since the 1880s. The Azure Army had established a radar monitoring facility in the 1950s that has since been decommissioned, though the Conservators have maintained ownership of the facility since then. There is no current plans on record for a re-purposing of the old prison grounds as of press time.

Vladimir Bratescu to be executed

Cardinal Secretary of State Remus Dragescu announced the decision to Cardinals just now

The Sacred College of Cardinals has voted for a Papal By-Order on the case of Vladimir Bratescu. The 24 year old will be executed on Tuesday for 'Extraordinary Crimes against the Faith of Christ'. The By-Order recieved 233 votes to 17, thus becoming an executive order of sorts from the Mother Church, the By-Order was proposed by His Holiness himself and was widely supported by all members of the College, the 17 who voted against, stated it was due to Bratescu's case not involving sodomy. Cardinal Secretary Remus Dragescu announced the result of the vote and also announced that Bratescu will be executed by hanging on Tuesday at 9.00pm.

The 24 year old IT Consultant, Vladimir Bratescu who was sentenced to 98 years in prison for 34 breeches of the FPA, including overt sexual behaviour, distributing pornography and anti-papal material.

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) has criticised the decision for Bratescu to be hung, after he was seriously assaulted by fellow inmates at the Sister Otillia Prison. They claim that Bratescu should at least be able to recover from his wounds before being executed by hanging, their comments were rejected by the Ministry of Christian Culture and Ministry of Justice. In relation, six male partners of Bratescu, were arrested after extensive interrogations by the Prison Security Services, all six will face charges of Homosexual Behaviour Crimes, none will face the death penalty due to the absence of evidence that they engaged in sodomy with Bratescu. Two women co-workers were arrested and released with recorded warnings due to their relations with Bratescu, both engaged in open sexual acts with Bratescu at Office and friends parties, which is illegal under the Sexual Behavioural Correction Act 1961.

The Cardinal Secretary also explained finer details of the execution, "It has been decided by the Papal Continuing Committee that the execution of Vladimir Bratescu will conducted in private, this is due to the high publicity of the case and we cannot allow the case to become a public spetacle, risking further division over this case within society. Bratescu's immediate family will be free to witness. His body will then be passed onto the family for a private funeral, he will of course recieve the opportunity to confess his sins and request forgiveness from the Lord".

Cardinal Julius Fradescu spoke after the session to the National Times, stating, "This case is a shame upon the nation, It is such a shame that this disgusting event went on as long as it did". When asked which way he voted, he laughed and walked off towards his car.

President Alexandrescu has come under heavy fire by hardliner Salvation Party MPs over his Civil Censorship Reform bill, which is to be passed onto Parliament for reading next week. Over 200 MPs have signed a letter to the President, demanding that he destroy the bill or change its contents so further blocks are placed on the internet. The situation in the Holy Assembly has become increasingly heated, with NLP and modern RSP MPs siding in support of the bill, as it stands the bill may pass on to the Sacred College, but most experts believe that the Sacred College will reject it, but may very well quash it for the sake of political stability.

Nos Callis, Belfras - Police say that roughly five-hundred people were involved in a riot that took place in the financial district of Nos Callis late on thursday. The crowd had gathered for a televised address of Rodarion Pope Pius, as was usual in the city which has a large catholic population, only this time things got out of hand. Following the end of the address, a fist fight reportedly broke out between two of the crowd and a local shop owner, who apparently started to walk away prior to the address ending. From this point the violence evolved as rioters burnt out shops and lynched people.

The riot, which left a trail of destruction in the millions of Belfries, went from Galveston Avenue to LeMeurta Freeway on a fifteen mile rampage until dispersing three hours later. The damage, however, was done. Multiple shops were left burnt out and twenty-three lay slain in the aftermath of a merciless and, some say, targeted act of violence. Several witnesses reported hearing religious slogans and the name of Pope Pius being chanted as rioters took turns beating five people to death and hanged a sixth - A transexual who's name is being withheld.

Chief of Police Michael Garner said that riot police were deployed but that "the magnitude of violence" hampered efforts to quell the riot, leading them to only be able to "protect people and prevent the riot from growing in size." he regretted that several of the rioters were hospitalized after engaging in hand-to-hand combat with riot officers, resulting in non-lethal action being taken on the officers behalf's. Chief Garner said that "Seventeen shops have been burnt out and an apartment block has been evacuated following a fire gutting the first two floors. We've managed to arrest somewhere in the region of thirty."

The violence has been condemned by Prime Minister Ian Davies as a "religiously motivated attack" against people either not of the Catholic faith or known to breach Rodarion religious law. One of the victims, who's family do not wish to be identified, was attacked because the shop she ran was an underwear store, with pictures of women scantly clad in the shops merchandise. Another victim had anti-religious pamphlets in his vehicle and was dragged him his vehicle, which had been forced to stop by an on-fire dumpster being wheeled into the front.

The Royal Investigation Ministry (RIM) commented on the attacks, noting that they had been monitoring several people who are known to have been involved in the riot. Senior Agent Montgomery Seymour said that the men in question were "known to the RIM as having committed several religiously motivated crimes in the past and are known members of Unity, a terrorist group that operates to bring Catholicism to Belfras through violent means. I am joined by ministers and law officers alike in condemning this riot and promise all lawful citizens that efforts will be made to crack down on such actions occurring in the future."

As a result of this riot and a looming possibility of further rioting on Sunday, following the passing of a Rodarion by-law on the matter, the Nos Callis Police Department is due to make a full deployment of the anti-rioting unit over the following few days.

On what is supposed to be a day of celebration with the announcement that the College of Electors have chosen Carlos Antonio Januario de Santiago, the most vocal opponent of Hernan Povedilla during his reign and his war and described by some as a Renaissance Man, as the Emperor-Elect has turned into a day of mourning, anger and desire for retribution. For as the Empire descended into celebration that a monarch will soon sit on the Golden Throne, the people on the border felt the full sting of the Seukuti border crisis where two trucks erupted in the Governorate of Al-Qaisya, where the Empire's Muslim minority reside and a mass shooting taking place in the Ecclesiastical Territory of Sevesa where a large number of Seukuti Ulthrians have come to work and live, respectively. Al-Qaisya local forces, the Qaisyan People's Defence Corps were rocked when a truck bomb crashed into the Hayyab Barracks in the governorate's capital of Diriyah and exploded, killing over two hundred personnel and some twenty civilians that were close to the QPDC's barracks. The other truck bomb detonated and devastated the Farooq Mosque and the adjacent apartment block, killing over a hundred innocents in the blast and wounding untold others. In the border town of Corvus, Sevesa two gunmen entered and slaughtered forty people in a local Casa del Mensajero mourning the death of charity figure and local community leader Miguel Guerrero de Fe.

Mikael Bruyner, a Seukuti warlord who rules over a section of Northern Seukutan and is only one of many autonomous leaders who have sprung up since last years political crisis in the country and has claimed responsibility for the attacks. In a statement from the warlord, Bruyner states that the attacks were done 'as a way of cleansing the world from those who are less enlightened' and to dissuade Ulthrannia from intervention in any potential civil war as he spreads his radical view of Christianity. Bruyner, who leaders the Christ's Liberation Army, a radical Christian paramilitary force that has been engaging in a stand-off with local Muslim warlord Khalid Mohammed Abdullah who leads a small confederacy of towns where Muslims dominate and Seukuti Ulthrian militia led by Diego Juanez who, unlike the other two, only exists to protect lower class Seukutii in the northern region from religiously motivated violence and to convert people to the faith. The CLA has been accused of ethnic cleansing and waves of religious persecution in territory belonging to them and are known to cause border clashes, even murdering people on the Ulthrannic side of the border.

In response to the statement on the same program, Prince Francesco Miranda, known for his campaign in the Itailian Home Islands and ultimately his rebellion against Emperor Povedilla as well as for his best-selling book about his involvement in the war The Conscripted Prince as well as having voluntarily removing himself from the aristocracy to enter political life refuted the statement as 'utter tripe'.

While many others in Los Reyes have remained quiet about Seukutan beyond condolences to the lost, reports coming in from sources within the government have alleged that Vicar Rojas has had extended conversations with Governor Ibrahim of Al-Qaisya to which the quick conversations ended with the Vicar screaming into his phone with the sentence "Get your shit together or heads will roll" apparently said and also called members of the intelligence community about appropriate action on the border. But while all of this was happening, it was the Emperor Elect, Carlos Januario de Santiago who gave his statement to the world:

Within twenty four hours the border region between our nations shall be protected by the Imperial Army, the security forces of Al-Qaisya and Sevesa and with volunteering Civil Guard units. We will begin a massive sweep of our territory for suspected Seukuti criminals and associates of the warlords that you are seemingly unable to stop.

Tomorrow is my coronation day, the day I rightly become the leader of a people who have been crying out for someone to represent them honourably and in their name and not the name of themselves of a selected few. Hear me when I say our threats are not idle and our justice is pure; your government has forty eight hours to begin prosecuting and combating the terrorist threats that exist against both our peoples, terrorists who have murdered hundreds and escaped justice thanks justly to your incompetence. When that time is up, your nation will feel justice. The government of this nation is willing to co-operate but we are only willing to help you if you are willing to save yourselves otherwise your fate is sealed and we will do what we must to ensure retribution and safety for the millions on our border.

Vladimir Bratescu executed

Vladimir Bratescu was executed today at Sister Otillia Prison

Vladimir Bratescu, the 24 year old IT Consultant who was arrested on 33 cases of breaking the Faith Protection Act, has finally been executed after two days of health checks and apparent signs of repentence. Bratescu was executed by hanging at 6.00pm, with his immediate family present, he was offered last rites which he accepted, however the Prison Office did not comment on whether Bratescu repentended for his crimes, stating 'We are not at liberty to disclose such information, all that matters is that his lasting judgement now lies with God'. The Bratescu Case will become renowned in Rodarian history as the most extreme case of secularised criminal acts orchestrated by one individual. The case itself unleashed huge uproar across the Papal Republic, with many demanding he burned alive, which is reserved for serious crimes against the faith.

The case which stemmed from a nationwide Police operation on the 26 October, also saw the arrest of 384 others. The case itself has also brought political tensions to the government, as President Alexandrescu's controversial censorship reform bill has been put into major question, with many hardline Salvation Party MPs refusing to let it pass the Holy Assembly, instead demanding censorship be increased. President Alexandrescu however has been widely praised for his response to the vile acts committed by the former Bratescu, however he has stated that the reform bill is something that the majority of Rodarians do wish to see enter law. Yet many analysts predict that Alexandrescu will secure support of some hardliner MPs allowing the bill to pass the Holy Assembly but it will most likely be rejected by the Sacred College of Cardinals, and would almost certainly be vetoed by the Papal Continuing Committee, even if it reached that stage.

Many experts now look to the fallout of the Bratescu Case and how it will effect future government policy, many have hinted at a possible division between moderates and hardliners within the Salvation Party, whilst addressing the Church's current stance on the issue, they have made clear that the coming months will prove highly difficult for Alexandrescu and his allies within the government and the larger party machine.

Seraphim Guard to retain traditional uniforms and to be enlarged

The Seraphim Guard which has been the Pope's personal security force at the Vatican since 1522, is to keep its traditional look and to be enlarged to 1,500 personnel after a vote by the Papal Continuing Committee. In an interesting turn of events, several Cardinals and government officials as well as Curia officials noted to the Sacred College to requirement for the Seraphim Guard to meet with modern threats and be reformed to counter modern dangers, they stated that the Seraphim Guard's historic equipment and attire was ineffecient to deal with modern dangers to the Vatican. The Seraphim Guard has maintained it's reinassance look since its founding in 1522, which includes colourful garments, armour and bearing a halbeard. They are seen throughout the Vatican and on Saint Peter's Square. The Seraphim Guard do have access to modern fire arms and it has been noted that several guardsmen have been seen bearing assault rifles or side arms, but the majority retain their medieval spears.

At 5.44pm today, the vote was passed onto the Papal Continuing Committee as it was above the Sacred College's position of voting on national and religious policies. The Continuing Committee went on to vote to keep the Seraphim Guard as it is, yet to increase its number from 890 to 1,500.

Chaplin Major of the Seraphim Guard, Nicolae Tetrescu gave this statement, "the vote by the Papal Continuing Committee has been welcomed by me and my guardsmen, our dress and weapons are what make us unique and identifiable to the Cardinals and the Holy Father here at the Vatican as well as the countless thousands who visit the Vatican every year. However, we have discussed the security issues with those who raised them in detail, the increase in numbers will allow us to maintain our historic style and presence, whilst maintain effective security for the most important and holiest complex in Pardes perhaps".

However several Curia officials made clear their disappointment at the vote, Secretary for Vatican Security, Romulus Graza gave this statement to the Holy Herald, "I do respect the vote of the most reverend Cardinals of the Continuing Committee, but I do see somewhat that they voted in the interest of popular opinion of maintaining the Seraphim Guard in their traditional state, but increasing their number still does not meet the major security issues facing the Vatican, although I do not doubt the professionalism of the Guardsmen, I do doubt the abilities of a man with a spear against a suicide bomber or a man with a gun".

The Spokesman for the Seraphim Guard Barracks later gave a second statement for the Guards, saying that "the nature of the uniforms is rather simple, for ceremonial roles the Guards will wear the intricate Renaissance style wear which does include the armour breast plate and the silver morion helmet , when on duty they will wear the simpler solid blue version of the more colorful tri-color grand gala uniform, worn with a simple brown belt, a flat white collar and a black beret. This does not impeade on their abilities to secure the Vatican, as for weapons the guards on duty will alternate between the historic and traditional weaponry as well as modern firearms, all guards have access to microphones to contact others if danger arises, the Seraphim Guard has trained over and over for that eventuality and our response time is the best it has ever been".

The size of the Seraphim Guards will be another issue that will likely be debated, it's increase from 890 to 1,500 will mean that the Seraphim Guards will need to recieve extra funding and an enlarged command and control structure, however the Seraphim Guard Barracks did state that the number will distributed to the Holy Father's various residences across the Papal Republic that are used by large numbers of Cardinals each year for spiritual retreats.

VIRIDIA, STATE OF THE CAPITOL, WESTERN CONFEDERAL STATES - The Unionist dominated house of representatives and senate passed the 2013 and first Taxation act on confederal level. Causing much controversy amongst liberals and the rest of the political left, as well as the non-libertarian political right.

"Both the Unionist-and the Confederate party are not affiliated with the 'left' or the 'right'", says political analyst Learoy Hopkins. "Both have factions, of those factions the libertarians account as strongest in the Unionist Party. While the Confederate Party comprises of mostly neo-conservative and to a lesser extent far-right factions." He adds, "In a case of voting the congress is not divided by the two major political parties, but more based on the individual itself, [the congressmen] and his ideological background.

This was, according to him, "Definitely noticeable in the the enactment of the First Confederal Taxation act." Where the votes overlapped the parties indiscriminately.

Some movements are in favour of the new tax reforms and the tax haven status on Confederal level. "This act, decreased the amount of taxes to a negligible level", according to Coffee Party activist Harold Zoidberg. "Which is a good thing, finally the era of Western bureaucracy is coming to an end and the upper class is not terrorized any longer."

Meanwhile social liberals in the Unionist Party are not so impressed by the enactment, saying that it will only be compensated by drastic cuts in the Western society. While non-libertarian members of the Confederate party and local parties tend to agree, but on another point of view. "The Western Society is based on a confederation where taxation was never the task of the confederal government. It is for each state to decide. These are the core principles we had agreed on when our ancestors forged this nation."

Terror Plot Partially Thwarted- Seukuti Warlord Blamed

In an event that shocked the peaceful nation of Tarsas, seven people were killed and twenty wounded today in a mass shooting inside the Temple of Titanus inside the city of Rigaria on the Seukuti border. Two gunmen entered the temple during the afternoon sacrifices and opened fire on the priests, killing all seven of the temple's priests. They then sprayed into the crowd. Through what could only be described as the intervention of Titanus himself, all twenty wounded crowd members' injuries were serious but not life threatening. The remaining priests, who were not present, used the temple's own internal armory to bravely keep the gunmen suppressed behind the marble walls of the Great Altar while risking their lives to evacuate those attending the ceremony.

Police and local paramilitary were on the scene in minutes. In the ensuing battle, one gunman was killed and another seriously wounded before police were able to surround and arrest both men. The thirty minute gun battle ended with no casualties and only minor injuries on the Tarsan side. The captured gunmen was taken to Rigaria Medical Center where his wound was tended to before he was moved to the Police Headquarters for interrogation. During the interrogation, a statement was released by Mikael Bruyner and his group, known as Christ's Liberation Army, claiming responsibility. The statement shocked many Tarsan officials. "We of the Christ's Liberation Army were the ones who were responsible for the bombing of the pagan temple in Rigaria, Tarsas. Paganism is a blight upon this earth. We will do our duty to God and destroy Paganism in our country and eventually the world."

People all across Tarsas have expressed their sheer outrage at he threats made against them. "They must be swiftly eliminated for daring to threaten the Tarsan Empire", said one anonymous senator. "We can't let threats like this go unanswered. Soon after the statement and subsequent calls of action, it was announced that an entire Air Legion would begin a series of 24 hour airstrikes all across northern Seukutan. For the next few days, suspected militia holdings will be struck by the 14th Air Legion. This series of operations will be designed to cripple militia operations across Seukutan. When asked for how long the suspected operation was to go, no comment was received from the Air Legionary Headquarters.

Rodarian Tanker sunk from torpedo, says MoD

Saxonople, FCP- The Papal Republic of Rodarion, a nation which sits in Pardes, has been known by the FCP and others over it's theocratic policies. However, nothing has angered the federation more than the passing of the ''Faith Acts'' by the theocratic regime. There was hope however, in late August, the Papal Republic elected Alexandrescu, a man who many outside of Rodarion thought would provide a ''positive'' change. However they couldn't have been more wrong.

In late October, a massive police raid coordinated most likely through the Papacy and the government itself raided homes in the twilight hours of dawn, and arrested 385 people. Including that of Vladimir Bratescu, in the report, he was arrested for breaking the ''Faith Acts'' on ''eighteen counts of Overt Sexual Behaviour, six counts of confirmed homosexual behaviour, seven counts of distributing pornograhpy, five counts of reading illegal material and three counts of distributing said material.'' ''The Ministry for Christian Culture has stated that the huge operation 'was necessary for the preservation of religious unity and continued social stability'.''

The picture which was shown of Bratescu, displayed that these ''criminals'' were possibly living in deplorable conditions. By November 3rd, it was made public that Bratescu was to be executed, this sparked out cries in the FCP with one riot getting out of hand in Sarlia. Including other riots abroad such as in Belfras in Nos Callis. On November 7th, the IT consultant, Vladimir Bratescu was executed, the news which was broadcasted on the media.

After the execution, President Anina called for a meeting with Parliament, the Crown and the Judicial Administration. After the meeting was finished behind closed doors, all three parties were in agreement. Anina who addressed reporter's questions after the meeting stated that, ''His Majesty will address on national television, the situation with Rodarion shortly. After recent events carried out by the government of the Papal Republic. Military Police have been ordered to detain the Rodarian ambassador, his staff, and family, and put them on a flight home tonight. The Rodarian embassy will then be closed, Parliament has stated with majority vote, that Rodarion has lost all trading privileges with the FCP, and that the FCP no longer recognizes the sovereignty of the Rodarian Government.''

His Majesty who was on several news stations last night, addressed the public of the situation. The speech he gave is outlined below;

''My fellow Pravene, Yesterday on November the 7th, the Papal Republic of Rodarion ordered the execution of Vladimir Bratescu, an IT consultant who had broken several laws of the commonly known 'Faith Acts', Madame President Anina earlier today called a meeting with the government where it was decided by the majority. A few hours ago, Military Police were ordered to enter the Rodarian Embassy, and ensure that the ambassador, staff, and family were placed upon a plane and sent home tonight.

This followed the decision during the meeting, stripping the Rodarian government of recognized sovereignty by the FCP. With that, Rodarion will be subject to an Oil Embargo by the FCP, cutting all trades with the nation. Rodarian Oil Tanker with in Pravene waters will be ordered to leave, empty. The Navy has been given orders that tankers who attempt to leave Pravene waters still loaded will be subject to aggression.''

Last night, the Rodarian Oil tanker, Cervescu left Pravene waters attempting to bring the Oil it had loaded back to Pardes. The Pravene navy, pursued the tanker before it was struck with a torpedo. Naval personnel and the MoD stated, that because the ship under it's captain was fleeing Pravene waters, well aware of the orders, and after several attempts by the Royal Navy to have the ship stop and return to the FCP to have its cargo unloaded, that the ship was then struck with a torpedo which ignited the oil and sat much of the ship ablaze.

The MoD stated that the Cervescu was then boarded, and the crew taken off ship. Three were killed in the torpedo hit, and another eight injured, which have been sent to a military medical facility. The MoD said that the FCP will send the crew home to Rodarion, and that the three who were killed in the attack will be flown home. Merchant ships from the FCP have been ordered to steer clear of Pardes, while regulations over the embargo are still under wraps. The Cervescu, the MoD said was sunk in International waters.

Rodarian tanker sunk by warmongering Pravenes

Papal Security Council to meet in emergency session

A Rodarian flagged oil tanker, the Cervescu was sunk last night by Pravene warships whilst sailing home through international waters. Three Rodarian nationals were killed when the torpedo struck and a futher eight were wounded, they were then seized aggressively by Pravene naval personnel as the vessel sunk. The Foreign Ministry gave a statement as it lodged a complaint against the FederatedCommonwealth of Pravengria. The Papal Security Council has also met in an emergency session to discuss a response to the sinking of the RV Cervescu. This comes as the FCP declared a complete end to oil exports to the Papal Republic, as a tool of disagreement over the execution of the faith criminal Vladimir Bratescu.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman gave this statement following news of the sinking, "It is with great sadness and rage that this Ministry declare that the Federated Commonwealth of Pravengria has illegally sunk a Rodarian tanker in international waters, murdering three Rodarian nationals and seriously wounding eight others. This is a complete illegal act, based upon an act that completely zealous in relation the execution of Vladimir Bratescu, who was convicted under Rodarian law.

The Papal Republic unlike the FCP does not comment on the laws or judicial actions of other nations, due to the virtue of respecting a nation's sovereignty. This act by the FCP is zealous, illegal and overtly aggressive, I can announce that the Papal Republic will hereby seize all Pravene assets, the indefinite closure of the FCP Embassy and the deportation of their ambassador. All Pravene nationals current residing in the Papal Republic will have 78 hours to leave the Papal Republic, or will be deported by the Rodarian Border Force. It is with great regreat that the Papal Republic commit to such actions, but it is necessary in the face of criminal acts committed against this nation. We expect an immediate apology from the FCP, if they fail to do so and commit any further aggressive acts, the Papal Republic will approach other states and attempt to form a sanction regime against this extra-regional threat".

Further more, the FCP government ordered the illegal arrest of the Rodarian ambassador to the FCP, which was then celebrated by King Alestei's speech;

Opinions from the Orducii have been furious along with general opinions presented on social media. The Orducii Command Office, gave this statement, "yet again we see aggressive acts against the Papal Republic, based upon secular minded views of human rights and arrogant views towards sovereign Rodarian law. We pray for the families of the deceased and the wounded, we also pray that the Pravene cease their short sighted attempts at exporting foreign laws and morals upon this Christian nation".

The Papal Central Bank (PCB) has stated that some $56.3 billion worth of Pravene assets are open for seizure and 'will conduct the operation as soon as possible'. It is expected that some 132,000 Pravene nationals will be leaving the Papal Republic within 78 hours, the Ministry of the Interior has stated that any Pravene national that remains within the Papal Republic pass the 78 hour deadline will be arrested and deported by the security services. If their reason be that they cannot afford a new plane ticket, the Papal Government will cover the cost.

Rodarion reacts to sinking of Cervescu and FCP policy, MoD says

Saxonople, FCP- Just a day after the sinking of the Cervescu, a large oil tanker that was attacked by a Pravene submarine after trying to flee maritime waters loaded with oil, the Rodarian government shot back at the FCP. The Papal Republic seized Pravene assets, an accumulated networth of 56 billion dollars, as well as ordered the ostracization of pravene nationals in the country. The Ministry of Defense commented that they would return a favor, Rodarian assets in the FCP were seized, accounts closed, and foreign investors of Rodarion have been detained until further notice. The MoE said they had blacklisted Rodarian companies from being listed in the Argent stock exchange, and have gone so far as to seize any accounts associated with the Papal Republic from third party companies in the exchange.

Yesterday, the FCP stated that it no longer recognizes the legitimacy of the Rodarian government, and may be willing to press for war over Human Right Violations by the Papal Republic. Rodarion who has ordered pravene nationals to vacate the nation in 72 hours, has caused quite a stir on social media sites back home sparking outrage at the Papal Republic. Many are urging the government to do something.

The PRR demanded an apology which was outlined in the nation's national media, an apology that the MoD said, they won't get. ''They don't deserve an apology, we apologize for the loss of life to the families aboard the ship when the torpedo struck the Cervescu, but to the defunct government of the country, they won't hear one from us. The FCP doesn't negotiate, or deal with governments that are illegitimate'' Said Deputy Chairman Alexander Vance of the MoD. Many have asked whether or not the FCP is willing to go to war, despite the circumstances, the MoD has refused to comment.

The public outrage however has gone far where it can no longer be ignored, nationals in the FCP demanding that the government take action against the PRR. Human Rights Organizations, such as the Prisoner Innocence Association, have set up polls on their websites to see where the public favors. So far 64% have favored for pravene action, while another 36% have gone against it.
