Yeah. I don't really want it, but I feel it can curb the tide a little bit.

4.The current contest thread will now be known as a "draft thread" (a figure that from now on will be in ALL WHF editions).A "draft thread" will be made. This draft thread is meant for you to post your performances, and edit them as much as you want, change, tinker, etc.
5. The host will place a deadline in the draft thread. In that deadline, he'll take all that information and transport it by himself to the real contest thread.
Now, you might be wondering... What's the point of having a draft thread and a contest thread?
Well, it's very simple:
1 - The host will have total control over what is posted (and in which order) in the contest thread, making everything look more pretty and organized, with the postcards, the intervals, and everything. (Take note that the host will not be able to change a performance itself, just add or substract things after it, or before it. However, the host may suggest a few changes to the respective writer of the performance, if he/she feels there's actually something to add).
2 - The other participants will only be able to post commentary in the "clean" contest thread; but since there will be an organized, updated, complete, information; there will no longer exist those "to be updated when performance is completed".
3 - This will also enable the host to provide a week of constant, daily RPing for all of you... Which will hopefully be rather more interesting than waiting around for someone to post.
4 - The pass between 'draft' and 'contest' thread will work as a filter for incomplete placeholders or zero-quality RPings.
This all emulates Eurovision's tradition of handing over songs before the actual contest takes place. This will also mean that a running order will be sorted out.

I don't really have an opinion on this... umm... maybe we could use the OOC idea Euski originally wanted to implement for WHF12 (I've edited it slightly):Euskirribakondara wrote:Ok, so, people... Here's how it will work.

Of course, this will mean there are 3 Contest threads (2 semifinals + 1 final), unless you want 1 contest thread for all 3 shows, and 1 draft thread (for everyone to post, since it doesn't have any IC effect). Regarding the voting, countries participating in that semi-final should submit their votes to the WorldVision committee, which then inform the host on the 10 countries that qualify for the final. In the contest grand final thread, the host will post the entries of the nations and then people can start posting their votes.
Also, last night I saw this Malaysian-Indonesian friendship concert on TV and the stage design was somehow similar to the WV27 stage and one of the songs performed was the song which Fromulya's WV27 entry was based on and it felt like watching WV lol

Also, in case we introduce the semifinals: I am totally against the idea of the Committee having a spot in the final already, I would personally hate that, it would make participating incredibly boring for me. Instead, just let the top 5 of the previous edition qualify for the final already.
