Air Miraco is the flag carrier of Miraco with its head office in Mertz, Miraco, primarily operating scheduled international flights (in addition to regional flights operated by their Air Miraco Express subsidiary throughout Miraco) from it's main base at Mertz International Airport (Aéroport de Mertz). Air Miraco is a member of the Star Alliance, Aegirium Hospitality Group, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and a co-founding member of the International Civil Aviation Safety Board (ICASB).
In Q3 2013, Air Miraco announced the acquisition of World Wide Airways (former flag carrier of Absolute Power) with plans to consolidate cargo operations and frequent flyer programmes under the "Flying Blue" trademark as well as downsize the airline focusing primarily on domestic routes throughout Absolute Power and Miraco as well as routes not currently operated by Air Miraco, World Wide Airways has subsequently been rebranded as "JETT!" and later "Air Miraco Express".
In Novemeber 2013, Air Miraco and Skyway Airlines came to a merger agreement regarding their cargo subsidiaries effectively combining Air Miraco Cargo, Intercargo and Skyway Cargo to form the new SkyCargo, the service is expected to fully resume operations soon.
In April 2014, Air Miraco announced a transition from the SkyTeam alliance to the Star alliance, following their new restructuring plan.

Luggage Policies
All checked bags are free onboard Air Miraco Passengers are allowed to carry one piece of luggage weighing 23 kilograms or less on all short/medium haul flights, passengers travelling on long haul flights will be permitted up to 2 pieces of luggage. Exceeding this limit will result in a €10 fine per piece. We kindly ask passengers to not exceed this restriction for safety purposes, weight distribution is known to be a serious problem and a potential source of danger if done incorrectly. If baggage is lost, we will do our best to retrieve it and to provide passengers with compensation should we fail to retrieve it; simply contact our gate personnel and they will be more than happy to assist you.
Safety Policies
Air Miraco does not operate any flights to airport deemed unsafe. All airports must have adequate security procedures including passenger scans, luggage scans, weapon checking, proper constant maintenance and air control. Passengers deemed unsafe will not be allowed to board the aircraft. We do not allow passengers to carry any undeclared weapons in carry-on/checked luggage (in compliance with Miraco and EU law) such as, but not limited to, knifes, mace/pepper spray, firearms, blasters, swords. Failure to declare such weaponry will result in seizure, heavy fines up to €1000, and possibly criminal charges. All controlled substances such as, but not limited to, Alcohol, cigarettes, cigars, marijuana must be sealed and be within the legal limit permitted by both destination and current locale laws. Uncontrolled substances (excluding prescribed medication) are not permitted on board under any circumstance. Safety is our utmost priority and therefore any passenger causing mischief will face consequences including potential criminal prosecution in accordance to the laws governing the airport where such incidents occur.
Ticket Policies
We offer full refunding of your ticket if you do not choose to board your flight anytime prior to a week before the flight is scheduled. Immediate and exact refunding of the ticket costs will be given to all passengers if a flight is canceled for the following reasons: weather, safety, diplomatic and/or damage to aircraft. If your flight is cancelled or grounded, we will do our best to conveniently provide alternate means of transport as quickly as possible in addition to providing passengers with a voucher with a 10% discount on future flights.
Departure and Arrival Policies
We recommend that passengers check-in at least 120 minutes before the scheduled departure time on domestic flights or 180 minutes on international flights. Please note that check in closes 45 minutes prior to boarding. Should a passenger fail to check-in, no refund will be issued and the passenger will be forced to re-schedule their flight.
Environmental Policies
Air Miraco is committed to policies that will reduce our environmental impact, for this reason we include an optional opt-out carbon offset fee on all tickets which is used for reforestation, funding energy efficiency ventures and renewable energy development. Furthermore, all meals served on-board are minimally packaged and all ingredients used are organic and fair trade certified. Finally, we are recycling as much waste as possible and reducing consumption of things such as paper through the use of our eTickets which can be stored on passengers phones as well as pilot’s aviation publications which are provided in electronic format (this is dually useful as it allows us to eliminate heavy flight bags containing the publications and easily re-issue updates to the publications).
Passengers enrolled in the "Flying Blue" programme can earn points on any flight within the Star alliance, passengers travelling Economy class (or the Star alliance airline's equivalent) will earn the amount of miles travelled, passengers on business class can earn 20% more miles while first class passengers earn 30% more!
