The current scientific consensus is that God is not required.

That's not the "scientific consensus" I encountered in any of my biology/evolution/microbiology/anatomy/physiology/rheumatology/ courses. Who are you to speak definitively on scientific consensus? Are you in the field? The reality is there is no consensus as there is no evidence one way or another, there can be no scientific opinion on the matter.

Yes I am aware of evolution. God did not just create us all. If you think he did, give me proof.

Yes there is. "There is no evidence to suggest this is necessary" is a consensus.

Exactly, the existence or guidance of God in evolution is unaddressed by the theory of evolution, neither the claim that He does exist and did so intervene, nor the claim that He does not exist or that He did not so intervene. Those who hold to the theory of evolution are therefore free to claim either that God exists and guided evolution or that He does not exist or did not guide evolution, as the theory itself makes no claims contradicting either.
Thus, the proponent of theistic evolution is in no way in violation of the scientific consensus.

Either prove it or stop trying to dishonestly shoe horn your god in.

Ah, but you will note that I did not claim that the participation of God in the mechanism of evolution was provable, or that it was provable through the scientific process, or that it was provable through the specific theory of evolution. I need not make such a claim.
All I need do is show that, as regards the theory of evolution, no claim is made either way as to the existence and direction of God. Therefore, both those who believe that evolution was initiated by God and guided by him, and those who do not so believe, are equally faithful to the theory of evolution itself. The proponent of unguided evolution not initiated by an external power is in no better standing as regards the theory of evolution as is the proponent of theistic evolution.

Numerous contradictory religious books. If it's just the bulk of books that matters and not any actual evidence then you just proved elves, dragons, fairies, and interdimensional travel all exist.

Why do we bother attempting to find out where we came from?
Unless you invent a time machine and follow EVERY POSSIBLE SPECIES that could have made us we will never know! So, again, it is pointless to debate.
For all we know we sprung out of a hole in the ground or just grew from a corn plant, I don't know.

"It says so in numerous books". Okay, no. No. If i wrote 5 books about how Lee Harvey Oswald was a women, does that automatically make him a women? If I wrote 5 books saying God doesn't exist, does that automatically mean God doesn't exist? On your logic, yes.
