Quick post, because I really should be returning my attention to the lecture I'm in, but I've been doing some creepylurkism around Nat and NEI's threads (May First in particular) (also, those avatar swaps are disorienting) and thought: how about having a team of RPers of that quality in some weird-scenario-of-the-month thing, except with different guest hosts? It'd be a great way for inferior RPers to lazily amuse themselvesobject lesson in good character roleplaying.

Dragons. Many think of them as legends or fairy tales; mythical beasts that breathe fire, fly, eat livestock and kidnap princesses and lock them in towers. Well, aside from the last one, all of those were true about them. You see, dragons existed at one point, long ago in a world forgotten by the sands of time. The most notorious and enduring legends about them make them out to be harbingers of the end times, arbiters of destruction and darkness, and generally the embodiment of evil itself.

However, this was not true of all of them.In fact, most dragons really had no quarrels with humans other than the occasional missing sheep or cow. Humans though, being the over exaggerators we are, freaked out about it and started killing them off. So, through centuries of slaughters and killings the humans eventually wiped out dragons.......Pfft, yeah right!

In truth, what few dragons were left went into hiding, using the magic given to them by some higher power (will elaborate on this later) to assume a human form and hide amongst their killers. Throughout the generations, they mingled and blended in, some taking humans as partners and having offspring, which eventually leads to this RP which takes place in the 21st century in and around the small little town of Azle, Texas.

Drugs. Lots of drugs. And then more drugs, followed by hordes of hot fanservice lesbians. Then, we have a torrent of racism and stereotypes, punch some assholes, followed by drugs and dick jokes. Legend says there's a "plot" in there, but the mythical beast hasn't been seen in centuries. Then we ignore the plot for fanservice, dick jokes, punching things, and getting lots of KFC.

I'd say drugs, except for Olthar and myself. The Penis Queen must have some funky Wisconsin cheese to do that sort of stuff. How a Mormon manages to come up with nonsensical crap like the rest of Night's homesizzles without any drugs is something you'll have to ask the Lord about, since I don't have a clue.

Despite this, Elfen High has a very rigid and solid canon that stretches across not just three arcs, but possibly a dozen roleplays and has a very in-built world.

Basically,

If there's something I'll miss about this rp itself, it's the huge, massive world we've built up. There's so much shit and history here.

Which, mind, is also going to make the ending of this arc hell because of how many things we need to wrap up.

We've accidentally crafted a Tolkien-esque world, complete and resplendent in its complexity and comprehensiveness, all built around dick jokes and lesbians.
