20. The Ultimate Evil
Tapan Sinut(I will kill you)
Hirvittävän Unromantic(Horribly Unromantic)

Melodies:Työlki ellää, Kuunkuiskaajat

Horribly Unromantic was waiting at the Green Room. They were not that nervous about performing. Anastasia Kaprov, a 27-year old half-Luziycan was playing video games while Tiny Johnson Bush, a 9-year old transvestite was checking the reliability and power of his latest weapons(which will not be revealed specifically). They only came here to perform because of their singing skills. Despite their male appearance, their singing voices are high-pitched, feminine voices.

The Ultimate Evil didn't play in the WorldVision stage for last 2 editions, because of many reasons. Firstly, the defection of 6 Evilean teenagers via JWHF led to huge scandal over the TUETV not checking their list of delegates to the JWHF. That led to many demotions within the WorldVision Department, with some executions to make up for it. Secondly, The Ultimate Evil's placing certainly disappointed President Harper DeRomney, who then ordered the immediate withdrawl of participation in WorldVision and World Hit Festival. So, It came to a huge surprise even among the executive members of the Death Eaters when President Harper DeRomney announced that The Ultimate Evil will take part in WV27.

5 minutes later, the Evilean delegation entered the stage.

Just as all the members entered, all the stage lights were turned off and the instrumentalists(who consisted of an accoridan player, violinist and percussionist) and both members of Horribly Unromantic used performance-enhancing drugs to improve their singing. After the instrumental version of their national anthem's played, a huge beams of light shone towards them at the centre of the stage. Both of the Horribly Unromantics entered the centre of the light while drinking a bottle of Russian Vodka. After finishing it, they both threw it to the audience. Ouch.

5 seconds later, the song started with a huge sound of the Bayan played by Anastasia. Then, Tiny Johnson bellowed out the verse one easily, without taking a breath. While singing, he gave a very creepy, intriguing pedophile smile at the audience. Younger audience initially got scared and others looked at them in suspicion. Ignoring that, he continued to sing in his high-pitch, sweet voice.

The tempo, for the first two lines, got slower. After that, It was on Allegro. Tiny Johnson and Anastasia sang beautifully in harmony, matching their voice. At the same time, they tried to evoke the meanings of the lyrics of the lyrics and gave some hand gestures that many did not understood but offended those who knew these.

1. Chorus:
Joten, minä tapan sinut hunajaa,
koko sielustani n palvonta
täynnä haisunäätä anaali tuoksu
ja jotkut brocoli että vihaat

The music took a bouncy turn and soon, all the instrumentalists and Anastasia started to play the music louder. For the Second Verse, Anastasia sang it, while giving out a questionable white substance(from the bag) that innocent kids took immediately. At the same time, Tiny Johnson started to do a funny-styled dancing, before not-so-accidentally took off his shirt and threw it to the crowd.

At the same time, a group of 11 people who all dressed up and looked like Anastasia entered the stage with 2 crowbars each. Then, they started to do crazy fighting sequences with each other. Anastasia and Tiny Johnson sang slightly lower in terms of pitch and notes. Trying not to keep it too serious, they gave a little more expression in their smile. Unfortunately, that only did the opposite and little kids were now getting scared.

2. Chorus:

The violinist and Anastasia play the instrumental for 15-seconds long. The 11 Anastasias, as previously instructed by Tiny Johnson, did a huge fighting sequence with 2 crowbards each. One of them picked out their lighter and lit his crowbar with it, to make a cool, carefully-choreographed dancing with fire. Unfortunately, the crowbars turned very hot and almost impossible for them to hold. not long after all of them were on fire and all of Anastasias had to throw the crowbars at the audience. The security team hired to protect the event managed to extinguish the fires moments after they were thrown to the audience. Fortunately, No one was killed, but some had minor injuries.

Anastasia sang the third verse, in a rather funny, bouncy fashion. That was quite....strange because the content in verse 3 is definitely not that joyful, but oh well.

Mitä minun pitäisi tehdä juuri nyt, kun se kaikki jäädyttäminen pimeässä
Kun kattila on rikki
Kiitos veljeni, joka pelataan salibandya kellarissa
ja ampui kiekko sitä

At the third chorus, the Anastasias quickly took their clothes off, revealing their fat, sweaty body. The dancers, now free from their clothes, performed in a elegant, powerful ballet sequence.

3. Chorus:
Joten, minä tapan sinut (veli), kun luistella lammen
teidän luistimet putoa kurjuutta
Ja jälkeenpäin, voit purkaa aivan kasvot jään
Joten, ota että tekee minut jäätyä!

Both members of Horribly Unromantic dived into the stage and went on a crowd surf. Fortunately, that was successful, as the hundreds of people held them safe right above their head/hands. Anastasia carefully sang, trying to control his balance to sing while being crowd surfed.

Tiny Johnson didn't do much to add. He just went louder in singing, maintaining their perfect singing skills while The dancers made a huge human pyramid but due to the weight of the person at top, it collapsed by the end of the 1st chorus.

1st Chorus

Both Anastasia and Tiny Johnson surfed back into the stage. While doing so, Anastasia took his turn to sing it, which is done by shouting out loud in his falsetto.
2nd Chorus

The bright, white light then focuses all around the stage. The dancers and singers came closer to the audience singing the last lines of the song. Anastasia and Tiny Johnson sangggradually louder and stronger,in Crescendo, until it hit the point of Fortissimo in the last line.

3rd Chorus

After it was all over, The Ultimate Evilean contingent clapped and applauded wildly. Tiny Johnson picked his mic up and shouted at the audience, with his wand raised at audience. "Thank you all. Have a marvelous night! Avada Kedavra!"
After he sent his magic, All of Horribly Unromantic, instrumentalists and dancers quickly bowed, gave a middle finger to the audience and left the stage.

What should I do right now when it's all sunny outside?
I just figured out that my boyfriend cheated for all the time we were together since 12
And he keeps denying it and constantly kisses me forcefully
but thinks of another girl while saying that bullshit[/box]

1st Chorus:
So, I will kill you with honey,
with all my soul's adoration
filled with the skunk's anal scent
and some brocoli that you hate

What should I do right now when it's all watery inside,
with the entire house flooded with the water,
thanks to a very lazy engineer
who forgot to check whether the pipes leak or not

2nd Chorus:
So, I will kill you(the mechanic/engineer) with my clan of bees
and place them right in your throat when asleep
that will screw up with your windpipe :P
Suck it up 'cuz that's what you deserve for making my house flood

Accordian Instrumental

What should I do right now when it's all freezing in the dark
When the boiler's broken
Thanks to my brother who played floor hockey in basement
and a shot a puck at it

3rd Chorus:
So, I will kill you(brother) when you skate in the pond
with your skates fall down in misery
And afterwards, you'll land right in face to the ice
So, take that for making me freeze!

What should I do right now when it's all sunny outside?
I just figured out that my boyfriend cheated for all the time we were together since 12
And he keeps denying it and constantly kisses me forcefully
but thinks of another girl while saying that bullshit

1st Chorus

2nd Chorus

3rd Chorus

'Swag On My YOLO' - Boloqueefa "CantHandleMySwaq" Vealinora
Tune: Tune: Esma and Lozano - Pred da se razdeni
Language: English

Boloqueefa "CantHandleMySwaq" Vealinora walked onto the stage, her beautiful blonde hair done up in a beehive. She wore a beautiful, multi-colored dress, which showed off her beautiful curves. She took the stage with no background singers, as she told her manager that she was 'Too real for dem nappy-headed hoes", therefore, eliminating the chance of her stage performance including background singers of any sort.

As the music began to play, a single spotlight spotlight shone on Boloqueefa as she began to sing. The rest of the stage was completely dark.

Ya'll can't handle me
When I come by da block, dem bitches be flockin'
Poppin' dem pussies
Trying to out-swag me

The lights began to brighten a little bit, so that the back of the stage is visible. The background screen shone a deep red color.

Swag on my YOLO
Ya'll bitches can't handle me
Queefing at me
Why don't ya'll fuckin' swerve?

Swag on my YOLO
You basic barbie bitches
Ya'll jealous of me
And my fucking swag

Swag on my YOLO

The lights began to flicker on and off, and she began to walk around the stage, singing (Quite terribly)

Boloqueefa's here
Time to take ya'll bitches out
Boloqueefa's here
Ya'll best be stepping off my swag

Or ima throw ya'll basic asses
To your mothafuckin baby daddies

Swag...
Heyy...
Oh...

The lights shone bright, illuminating the rest of the stage. The lights shone in shades of yellow and red and spotlights shone around the stage and the audience.

Got my snapback on
Obey my mothafuckin swag, yo
And my dope-ass Jordans
Stole them from the thrift shop

Swag on my YOLO
Ya'll bitches can't handle me
Queefing at me
Why don't ya'll fuckin' swerve?

Swag on my YOLO
You basic barbie bitches
Ya'll jealous of me
And my fucking swag

Swag on my YOLO

Boloqueefa's here
Time to take ya'll bitches out
Boloqueefa's here
Ya'll best be stepping off my swag

Or ima throw ya'll basic asses
To your mothafuckin baby daddies

Swag swag swag swag swag
La la la la la la la la la
OHHOHOHOHOOHOHHOHOOHO

Swag on my YOLO
You basic barbie bitches
Ya'll jealous of me
And my fucking swag

Swag on my YOLO

The Avalanches: Transfiguration

Source (Ignore the first and last few seconds of the tape...the actual song begins at 0:05. It's also kind of hard to tell where the words line up with the melody, under the circumstances--the sung part starts at 0:19.)

There are three main performers--Matt Toser (tall, dark green clothes) J.T. Kira-Nibey (much shorter, bright blue) and Evan Barre (towards the back, doesn't sing as much--bright silver shoes, but reserved, dark costume). The pit is also full of backing instruments, producing a somewhat synthesized effect, but full of energy.

During the introduction, the main band just claps in time, while the pit handles the music. When Toser begins singing, Kira-Nibey and Barre immediately launch into their guitar and bass, respectively.

Change!
I find it strange
That after all
We couldn't fight
We let the night
Destroy us all
But still

We're
Alive and here
You're on the rise
I have to blink
It's hard to think
They weren't all lies
Until

The backup dancers are moving up and down the stage, in different directions; they wear dark outfits with pale, somewhat pastel-looking necklaces. As they pass by the main performers, some of the dancers place similar necklaces and bracelets on the band, who don't break stride as they continue...

Change
Happens to us all
In slow degree
It's hard to view
At least to you
But not to me
Not anymore.

She thinks I'm kind of odd
Cause I'm no god
I just repeat
The breaking news
Who's gonna lose,
What met defeat,
Ooh.

At this point, most of the lights go dark, revealing the necklaces and bracelets to be much more vibrant glowsticks. Kira-Nibey begins singing the backing vocals (in parentheses), while Toser continues the repetitive melody. The dances are energetic, looking somewhat like long lines of individual exercises--be those jumping jacks or jogging in place--as each dancer is lit up by their individual glowsticks.

Dance with me now (Dance through the fire)
Dance with me now (Make me a liar)
Come and see now (What are you seeking?)
Come and see now (Wins are for streaking)
Take a hike now (You know she'll let you)
Take a hike now (She'll just forget you)
We're alike now (Though I resent it)
We're alike now (That's how she meant it)
Listen up now (Everyone's grooving)
Listen up now (Time to get moving)
Make a change now (Changing your station)
Make a change now (Transfiguration)

Kira-Nibey cuts out of the vocals, joining Barre on more instrumentation, as the dancers come together--by this point they are holding hands, and swaying together in time.

Though the world is blazing
That's not as amazing
As the light and thunder
And it makes her wonder
Can we build the ceiling
Can we save this feeling
Though the world is shining
Let's not stop for dining
It's not really hunger
We're not getting younger
Change will break your chains now
Dance to new refrains now

The lights come back stronger again. One by one, the backup dancers twirl off to the side, as the spotlight gradually broadens from focusing on Toser, to the main band, then fizzles to nothing.

When you're changing
You're still you.
Hold on to all that
Still holds true.
Don't be afraid of
Fear that dies
The changes come
From brighter skies.

in the tune of Pika Girl - s3rl

Elizia Del Valleta (24), is one of the biggest names in De La Fleur, She was originaly a Porn Star, for the "From Horny Guys to Horny Guys" which ended up bankrupt Last Year, She became famous when she sang in her last porn movie, "Whorelyn Monroe", after that movie the NSM gave her a 2 year recording contract. Her Debut Single, "Regrets", ended up on the top on the De La Fleur Top Hit Charts for 8 weeks, which is the longest time for a debut single to be on the top hit charts. She has been married for 7 times, and is currently engaged to basketball player, Jonavin Delaur. In the "Fleur Music Festival" which was to find a singer to be represent De La Fleur in Worldvision, she didn't win, Gemma Monterri did, but later the De La Fleur Worldvision commitee realized that Gemma Monterri used the same tune as worldvision winner in WV22, or Zannania (Is the pronounced correct?). Since Elizia was the runner up in that contest, it was decided that she would represent De La Fleur in WV27.

The stage was being set up, and Elizia was wearing a pink-glimmer mini-dress, with her dance partner, which was wearing nothing but red shorts. When they came on the stage, the led screen was bright, really bright, that almost nothing could be seen on the stage. The front lighting was also really bright, when the tune began the light became a bit darker and kawaii styled hearts and notes appeared on it, with a red background, Elizia was sitting in a chair on the middle of the stage, she looked a bit sad, but also like she was expecting something, while her dance partner is in the far-left side of the stage, which looked worried, and stressed, and was walking in circles, when Elizia was going to begin to sing, she was still sitting on the stage, with a dissapointed smile on her face, and of course, started singing
Tonight I wish, that you and me,
Were together in my room.
It would be so wonderful, also magical
Because we were meant to be

Elizia stands up from the chair, and when she stands up she pushes the chair, softly, so it wouldn't make much noise, she looked a bit happier since the start of the song, but she still had a bit of sadness in her face, but also had a bit of a smoothing effect on her face. Her dance partner stopped walking in circles, and takes up a mobile phone, and so does Elizia, and she begans singing in to the fake mobile phone she was holding
I know that you are ma-arried
But it's just one night
And you're so wonderful

She walks slowly to him, drops her phone, and so does her dance partner, the dance partner had a surprised look on his face. she sings while walking slowly...
And when you hold me tight
And you kiss me all night
I know what you're to me

She looks at her dance partner with a sexy look, and her dissapointment/sadness had vanished off her face, but on her dance partners face, you could see that he is a bit worried, but then, she jumps on him, grabs her legs around his back, while her dance partner holds her, and she begins singing, having a happy look on her face, looking straight into her partners eyes, And all of the lights go crazy, going in every direction, the hearts and notes on the LED screen also go crazy (that is supposed to happen if you're wondering)
You're my Loverboy
That i'll love all night
I know that your leaving
But you are my life

There she jumps off him but stills looks into his eyes, and there someone pushes a bed to them, but they do nothing about it, and she continues the verse
Loverboy, that i'll love all night
And now that you're here, yeah
we can do it all night

While singing the chorus she was pulling her dance partner in a sexy way towards the bed, and when she ended the chorus she pushed him on the bed, she was still looking sexy, and as she begins the second chrous the LED screen gets bright like in the beggining and so does the front and head lighting, and smoke was also going on the stage
I'll give you my heart if you give me your ...

There she covers her mouth in a really innocent and fake way and pointing at his crotch, when she continues the second chorus the LED screen goes like it went in the beggining of the first chorus and the lighting goes crazy as well
You're my loverboy
And i'll be your lovergirl
and we'll be up all night!

While it's instrumental they dance on the bed, the dance partner lifts her up, kisses her neck and all that stuff, the audience were waving their flags to the beat, there were a few De La Fleurian flags, but there weren't many people from De La Fleur in the audience, when she was going to start the chorus again, the dancer dances a little less with her and just begins smelling her or that thing that hot boys do in music videos when they are with their heads on the girls bodies, you hopefully know what i mean.
You're my loverboy
That I'll love all night
Now can you hold me tight
So you can kiss me all night
You're my loverboy
and i'm your lovergirl
If you want my body
you'll have to give me your heart

Nothing much changed at the stage but what was currently happening but the LED screen got really bright again and so did the lighting, the got off the bed and began to ran at the hexagons, which were also going crazy (i just got that idea and i didn't want to erase everything i wrote so now you know) but as they got closer the hexagons went slower and when they reached the hexagons they stopped moving, Elizia and her dance partner got on the hexagon in the middle, and as they reach the middle the rest of the hexagons went crazy again (except the one in the middle) and Elizia, begins her last verse
I know that we met at a stinky old bar
but you're my loverboy
and someday, maybe more
but for now it's just all right

the LED screen and the lighting go normal again, and so do the hexagons, now they sit on the hexagon, looking pleased and stuff, while the short instrumental is, and then she starts singing the verse
Wow, that was wonderful
Also Magical
We were really meant to be
I want to love you more,
But that ain't possible
Because you're a married man

There she goes off the hexagon, her dance partner looks confused, and she looks dissapointed, she acts like this was nothing, and that it could change, the LED screen is still normal, the lighting is only lighting them, and the hexagons don't move at all, there are a few flags being waved now, since there is no beat now, but it will, she continues
I wish you weren't married
So this could be all right
But this is just a sin
But i'm a naughty girl
So i wo-on't care
Now lets carry on with our love

He stands up quickly, and she runs towards to him, and jumps on him, with her legs around his back, like in the beginning and she begins the chorus..
You're my loverboy
Someday, maybe more
And now that you're here
We can do it all night
Loverboy
That i'll love all night
You don't have to leave
If you lo-o-ove me

she looks at him, and he looks at her, it begins raining on them, and the firework thingy goes down too, with the rain, making it kind of dramatic, the LED screen changes to a gold-white background, with a giant gold-white heart on it, the lighting is everywhere, it's not moving, but the stadium becomes really light, and Elizia begins the second chorus
I know that you love her, you don't have to lie
You're still my loverboy
and i'll be your, lovergirl
I hope you wont forget

The Lights go crazy, and the heart on the led screen goes crazy as well, and so do the hexagons, her dance partner is again on the far-left side of the stage and Elizia take up the chair and sits on it and continues, with a sad face
You're my loverboy
I'm your lovergirl
I know that you left me
But i miss you so much
Loverboy
In my own dreams
I wish you were still here
so you could kiss me all night

There comes smoke on the stage, it goes bright, the led screen and the lights, and it looks like in a dream, Elizia and her Dance Partner are together, you can see that they changed clothes, Elizia in a wedding dress and her dance partner in a tuxcedo, and it looks like they're getting married, she continues the last verse
I wish we could hook up just one more time
You were my loverboy
That i, loved one time
But now it's just a dream

The crowd roars, Elizia looks happy and revealed that she finished it, and so does her dance partner, they hold hands and bow 3 times, Her dance partner leaves the stage while Elizia is giving blow kisses to the audience, and before she leaves she says "Thank You Monterra, Thank you NationStates, and have a good evening!!" She then left the stage, being set up for Rugenia, the next act

She's very proud to represent her home country in this big compitition and wants to make new friends there. After her victory Bergström got very famous in the rugenian gay community. After a good 14th place in the last edition she wants to bring Rugenia back to the top 10 with a german song. Hannah said that we already won this contest 2 times with a german song, so we will try it again! (Bergström was on of the backings when Johannes won the contest!)

Image

Tonight Hannah is wearing a beautiful white dress and white-silver high heels made by Rash Ibrahimi. Her 3 backing singers (Frida, Anastasija and Sofi) wearing black dresses and black high heels. They're standing on the right site of the stage in the background. Hannah is in the front, she's very nervous! Good luck!

Hannah is standing in the front of the stage, the stage is dark! There's just a spotlight on her.

Heute Nacht sind wir Zwei allein
Schwerelos so soll es wohl sein
Ich kann es fühlen
Ich will noch mehr von dir

Hannah's looking back into the camera and winks. Shes walking down the stairs to reach the other part of the stage. She's screaming "Clap your hands!"

Bleib doch hier, in meiner Welt
Du bist das, was mir so gefällt
Atemlos geh ich auf dich zu
und sag zu dir

Together with her backings she's doing some cool moves. The stage is getting bright. The LED-background changed to blue.

Chorus:
Und heute Nacht,
sind wir Zwei allein
und ich kann es fühl'n
Ich lieb dich so sehr

Hannah is just smiling, she looks so happy!

Du sagst zu mir,
dass du nicht mehr weißt
wer ich bin und wie ich heiß
Ist das dein ernst oder lügst du nur?

Oh...

Atemlos sitz ich hier
trinke Wein, einsam, allein
und denke mir
wie soll es weitergeh'n

She is walking through the stage and smiles a lot to her background singers! Now she put her hands up and turn around with the camera.

Chorus:
Und heute Nacht,
sind wir Zwei allein
und ich kann es fühl'n
Ich lieb dich so sehr

The stage is getting dark again. Hannah walks to the right site of the stage and pose in front of the camera. They use cool effects for the camera!

Du sagst zu mir, dass du nicht mehr weißt
wer ich bin und wie ich heiß
Ist das dein ernst oder lügst du nur?
Ich will die Wahrheit einfach wiss'n

The final chorus starts. A pyro-firework starts in the background and the stage changed to blue and white. The audience screams! Hannah's playing with them and give her very best vocals for the end.

Chorus:
And to-onight Oh..
We are only two
I can feel it, Oh yeah..
Yes I love you so much

Love you so much

Cause I love you so much..

Hannah is laughing now, she's very happy and proud! She winks into the camera.
Hannah:
Thank you very much! We love you! ♥

25. Tödlichebujoku..........................My Only Love............................. Tune (A Whole New World)

Sakura Jäger felt incredibly pressured. It was Tödlichebujoku's first time at WorldVision and she was determined to make an impression. She was reasonably successful in the home country and had performed before, but never at an international level. Sakura hoped her previous experience would help her. Smoothing out her outfit, she stepped onto the stage.

The stage is dark and dimly lit with blue. A spotlight turns on and illuminates Sakura standing with a man on the front stage

You have shown me the world
Gushing with love and beauty
That misty morning we met
Is now etched inside my mind

The man steps out of the spotlight, the dim blue lights begin to change to gold
You have opened my eyes
Taken me finger by finger
Over, sideways and under
On a mystic pleasure ride

She looks to her left, then to her right and behind her
My only love
I'd say for sure I never knew
Just a short time ago
I'd have told you no
And left with my lips screaming

The stage flashes white as every light available is switched on for half a second and Sakura is found to be passionately making out with the man, her groin rubbing vigorously with his. She turns her head to the camera with nearly desperate eyes, and then to the crowd, giving all her passion to her singing
My only love
This glorious joy I never knew
And when I feel you near
I have no fear
I love you now, but I wish you loved me too!

A trio of unseen singers chorus in the darkened background
Love you now, but I wish you loved me too

Her body turns to face the crowd and the man steps back once more
Your glowing face is my light
Indescribable feelings
Everytime I start dreaming
I need your body next to mine

Sakura closes her eyes and tilts her head upward as another flash of light occurs. Golden fireworks stream down from the ceiling as the man kneels down, unzips her clothes, and performs on her lower body. The background singers, now slightly better lit, are revealed to be dressed as female security guards with their backs to the audience. Sakura's voice grows stronger with the music
My only love
Simply must close my eyes
A hundred thousand things to feel
Gasp for air-you will need it
You're like a shooting star
You've cummed so far
I wish you could do more than just kneel
My only love
Every touch a surprise
With new positions to go through
Every moment gets better
You take me everywhere
I have cash to spare
Let me live like you love me as I do

The fireworks stop and the lights dim somewhat, becoming a deeper gold. The man stands up and holds Sakura's head as she kneels, reciprocating his own effort. She disengages and turns to the camera, still kneeling, and sings with a slightly cracking voice
My only love
My only love
I wish you knew
I wish you knew
What's true for me
Eternally
For I love you

Sakura stands up after zipping her clothes and the pair vigorously kiss as the lights return to normal

"Thank you, everyone! Kiitos!" she said after breaking away from the man and bowing. Stepping off the stage, she breathed a sigh of both relief and contentment. She had done her best and successfully represented her home country without accident. Sakura wondered how long the grin that plastered her face would stick around.

She knew it would last a long time.

26. THE ATLAMMES
OLEXANDRA CYNTHIOS
OCEANIC

Image

The stage is full of bright lights in colours of white, soft yellow and light blue. The floor shows the visualisation of the waving water. The screen behind shows the horizon and the sun in the highest point of the stage. Olexandra stands on the lower stage in the long delicate dress that is more like the big bedsheet that moves accordingly to the air blast from the special machines that are regulated in pursuance of the music. There are also three girls on the higher stage that make the backing vocals. Olexandra starts the first versus:

Swimming, floating in water
Like mermaids
I play with them in the deep
I hold their wet skin
Listen to them

Then the dress is getting crazy because of the air intensity. Olexandra makes different gestures around her face but doesn't stop looking at the audience. Her eyes are magical.

The ocean still calls
And softly wraps my feet
The ocean still calls
Until I dream 'bout it

The ocean still calls, I can hear
I hear that the ocean still calls
The ocean still calls, I can hear
I hear that the ocean, the ocean still calls

Then the air is gone. The sun on the screen descents lower and is getting orange. The lights turn into blue, yellow, and orange. The two dancers appear on the stage and take the white dress off. Olexandra has got the long orange dress underneath. The dancers takes two pieces of the white fabric and dance with them on both sides of the stage.

I am sinking, water makes me dream
Fluid movement - I feel it in me
The ocean's taking my soul
Kidnapping it in the cay
Seaweed under my toes

The dancers create the seat from the fabric and Olexandra sits down on it. They take it up and she sings the refrain. The air starts blowing even more than previously.

The ocean still calls
And softly wraps my feet
The ocean still calls
Until I dream 'bout it
The ocean still calls, I can hear
I hear that the ocean still calls
The ocean still calls, I can hear
I hear that the ocean, the ocean still calls

Ocean, let the ocean still call
Ocean, ocean, let the ocean still call
Ocean, let the ocean still call
Ocean, ocean, let the ocean still call

Olexandra comes down from the seat. The dancers cover her with the white fabric and then they fall down on the floor. The light goes off. The air stops blowing too. The stage is in the dark. Olexandra softly sings:

Y en zymgymk, fetal negaz na tlaen (I am sinking, water makes me dream)
Vroyt nufanamd - y vaar yd ym na(Fluid movement - I feel it in me)
Dca uhaem'z degymk ni zuor (The ocean's taking my soul)
Gytmebbymk yd ym dca hei (Kidnapping it in the cay)

Then everything returns to the previous state. The dancers make their modern dance around the singer that still look at the audience with her magnetic eyes.

Dca uhaem zdyrr herrz (The ocean still calls)
Emt zuvdri flebz ni vaad (And softly wraps my feet)
Dca uhaem zdyrr herrz (The ocean still calls)
Dyrr y tlaen epuod yd (Till I dream about it)
Dca uhaem zdyrr herrz, y hem cael (The ocean still calls, I can hear)
Y cael dced dca uhaem zdyrr herrz (I hear that the ocean still calls)
Dca uhaem zdyrr herrz, y hem cael (The ocean still calls, I can hear)
Y cael dced dca uhaem, dca uhaem zdyrr herrz (I hear that the ocean, the ocean still calls)

The backing vocals whisper softly in the background:

I am
Oceanic
I am
Oceanic

Olexandra smiles to the camera and waves her hand saying "Dcemg iou" ("Thank you" in Atlammish)

KINGFORDIAN COMMENTARY

WITH
NATALIA MOLOROVSKAYA
ANNA JORGENSEN

Natalia: Welcome back to WorldVision and now we have our next song, and it's coming from... from... coming from....
Anna: Do you need me to say it?
Natalia: Yes... please, I just can't do it....
Anna: Lymantatia....
Natalia: Pass the bottle... I'm gonna need it

LYMANTATIA PERFORMANCE:
Anna: I seriously don't think Lymantatia has any other artists to send to the competition.
Natalia: I know, and their songs are getting worse by the year
Anna: Honestly... it dosn't work for them, they need to try someone else.
Natalia: I think the 12 points from Grandterre each year keep them coming back
Anna: I've heard they actually have DANAE buses in Luziyca
Natalia: Oh god, they're popular there? I thought you had to strip like a porn star to be famous over there
Anna: maybe their next participation will include a stage show that involves a big giant DANAE bus, it'd sure make a nice departure from this empty, standing doing nothing under lights thing they've got going on
Natalia: To vote for Lymantatia add 03

GRANDTERRE ENTRY:
Anna: Them again... are they going to be Grandterre's DANAE? I hope not.
Natalia: A very typical Grandterre entry, I wouldn't expect them to do too well on the scoreboard, but some points from Lymantatia and Groteberg should make sure they don't get nil points.
Anna: To vote for Grandterre add 04

RESERVED FOR GROTEBERG:

KISHRAEL ENTRY:
Natalia: that was my first 'wow' entry of the night... Kishrael is in it to win it this year. They very narrowly missed out on victory by 5 points last year and ended up in 3rd place, they've sent a house entry this time... and it was amazing.
Anna: The performance was amazing, the song and the stage show, which was greatly enhanced by the stage design this year. I like those platforms at the bottom of the stage.
Natalia: And that outfit, loved it. Amazing performance and a candidate for victory in my opinion.
Anna: To vote for Kishrael add 06

Fusha-Me-Bar Entry:
Anna: I love this!
Natalia: Fusha-Me-Bar has sent Xhevahire Gjatara in the hope of reviving its dwindling success in the contest. And I think she might do just that
Anna: Amazing song, I think it will do well, but I think she needs a new stylist
Natalia: I've seen worse, I think she looked great
Anna: To vote for Fusha-Me-Bar add 07

COMMUNIST QUINNTOPIA:
Natalia: Nice change of direction from Communist Quinntopia, after what was their worst result last year they've bounced back with this song called "Fissures".
Anna: The first 2 entries from Quinntopia were rock entries and it seems that they have gone back to this method. I like it, and I think it'll be top 10.
Natalia: I liked their visual performance, it was very well done, memorable which helps when you're trying to get the televoters on your side and the crowd loved it.
Anna: Best of luck to them
Natalia: To vote for Communist Quinntopia add 08
Anna: Next up is Polkopia!

POLKOPIA:
Natalia: Johanna Sputman singing "Du Glaza" for Polkopia
Anna: Nice song, very Polkopian in its nature and I love that. They came 2nd last year and won the year before so they've been doing very well lately and with this song I don't think we'll see their success change anytime soon. It's one of the best entries we've seen so far tonight.
Natalia: nice stage performance, of course I love that the entry was in Polkopian, it's always nice to see a country singing in their own language.. not many do that anymore
Anna: I can't get the song out of my head *sings: "Du Glaza rep ti die velt arund ya"*
Natalia: Catchy isn't it?
Anna: And that's a good thing too
Natalia: To vote for Polkopia add 09

ZAVILA:
Anna: A fairly good entry from Zavila there, they've gone for the classic dance schlager type with ethnic influences.
Natalia: Much better than that rubbish they sent last year. I like this but I can't see this winning, it's not a winner that's for sure. But top half of the scoreboard is definately possible. Maybe even top 10
Anna: To vote for Zavila add 10

Natalia: We'll be back after the break with more WorldVision including the entry from Luziyca.

"Love Lesson"
sung in Kalosian

to the tune of Lieblingslied by Mia Diekow
(I know) That you're single now
(And I) See that you're lonely now
You both were good but now it's over
Oh, too bad

(I want) To be your woman
(Before) Someone else is yours
I think maybe you need to love me first
I know you need a love lesson

It's important that you listen to me
So that we can be together

One, two, three, four... five!

I believe you're in my heart
And you'll always be there
So will you love in return
Me, you're my sweetheart

You're my only love
Please understand that I need you
The world can be ours
I hope you'll be mine

This is a love lesson

(My thoughts) You never leave it
(Your voice) Is always in my head
When you leave me even for a minute
I miss you as if you've been gone for a year

(And now) Sit here next to me
(Come) You can be my king
Soft skin, sweet words
Don't leave me with nothing

I suppose love is our destiny
Do you accept my love?

I believe you're in my heart
And you'll always be there
So will you love in return
Me, you're my sweetheart

You're my only love
Please understand that I need you
The world can be ours
I hope you'll be mine

This is a love lesson

Do you understand my lesson?
We can be together
I love you, and you'll love me
In this new world

I believe you're in my heart
And you'll always be there
So will you love in return
Me, you're my sweetheart

You're my only love
Please understand that I need you
The world can be ours
I hope you'll be mine

This is a love lesson

Letizia felt honored to represent Kalosia on home soil, and was aiming to finish at a high position, just like the close 2nd place finish Sasha Whiner achieved at Monterra as well at WV22, maybe even higher. Ležonë d'Amurë, Kalosian for "love lesson", was a cheerful song and the public mostly reacted positively when the song was released. By now, Letizia and her team were ready to perform, they've been rehearsing a lot in the past few weeks and after this she finally be allowed to go on a break. Nevertheless, she was nervous and hoped nothing would go wrong, though everything went well during the rehearsals.

After the Atlammes, a debutant country, had finished performing, the crowd cheered quite normally, which suddenly escalated drastically once the Kalosian national anthem started playing. A quarter of the audience stood up, some singing along. While the Kalosian delegation was setting up, Letizia was nowhere to be seen. Yet. A guy holding a rattle and a megaphone along with a bassist (both wearing casual clothes) were on the right side of the upper stage, while two backing singers dressed as cheerleaders (without the pom-poms, with 'KLS' written on the middle, and yes that is Letizia in the picture) were on the right side of the lower stage.
The guy shakes the rattle, symbolizing the start of the song, while the background screen turns pink, with graphics somewhat like this (lyrics aren't part of the graphics and aren't displayed at all). At the same time, Letizia walks in, and goes to the middle, just in front of the screen. She is wearing a pink dress like this, except the skirt/tutu part is 2,1 meters wide, somewhat like this. To the viewer, it may seem uncomfortable but she feels just fine in that.

(the parts in the brackets are sung by the backing singers only, everything else by Letizia unless otherwise mentioned)

(Ja san) Kë tu se single ur
(E ja) Vedrat tu se sul ur
Oñë eta buna ma ur se së fini
Oh, triž pitë

(Ja vul) A eža ten fema
(Avan) Këlkunë avirar te
Ja penšar morǧe tu bisañ amira mi
Ja san tu bisañ unë ležonë d'amurë

Slowly she walks to the front and stops just before the first step of the stairs.
Së se importanta kë tu eškolta a mi
Afin nuša puve ensam

The guy shouts through his megaphone:
One, two, three, four... five!

After the guy said 'four', the stairs turned into a ramp (like booby traps in adventure films), sending Letizia downward, stopping just on the middle platform, which wasn't raised or lowered. Letizia then sings the chorus:
Ja kruror tu sur u men korë
E tu vul teži ežistar u la
Afin vulǧa t'amirar ditro
Mi, tu se men karo

Tu se men solo amurë
Komprendrël kë ja bisañ te
Lë monda puve eža nušën
Ja spirar tu vul ež' men

Së's unë ležonë d'amurë

Suddenly, it appears as if Letizia is shrinking, though in reality the platform is being lowered, pulling her in, while the structure of the dress (along with the fact that it is wider than the platform) causes it to remain intact. After she disappears, the dress collapses into the hole that is the lowered platform, leaving no trace. As the next part starts, she rises on the same platform, now wearing a new dress.
(Men penšëri) Tu laša ǧame
(Ten vocë) Së's teži u men mentë
Kadë tu laša mi per ankë unë minutë
Ja mankë te komë t'lašat unë anni

The backing singers join her, one on each side (but not on the platform), and the three do dance moves.
(E ur) Sedertël ši akant a mi
(Venurël) Tu puve eža men rej
Pe këlo sof, paroli dulci
Nël laš' mi kon nuello

The stage becomes dark, except for a single spotlight focused on Letizia.
Ja supusa amurë se nušën destina
Sitarëz te men amurë?

Everything goes back to before and Letizia dances along with her backing singers again.
Ja kruror tu sur u men korë
E tu vul teži ežistar u la
Afin vulǧa t'amirar ditro
Mi, tu se men karo

Tu se men solo amurë
Komprendrël kë ja bisañ te
Lë monda puve eža nušën
Ja spirar tu vul ež' men

Së's unë ležonë d'amurë

They do a dance number where the three do the same moves, but while this happens the platform is slowly being lowered, making Letizia disappear again. Again, it rises as she sings the next part, but now she's sitting on a "love bed" (with this pose) covered with rose petals and surrounded by heart-shaped pillows. There's enough space for someone to share the bed with her. The backing singers stop and stare at her, putting on confused/surprised faces.
Komprendrëz tu men ležonë?
Nuša puve eža ensam
J'amirar te, e te vul amirar me
U sëtë nueva monda

The platform stops rising at floor level, while the backing singers continue dancing.
Ja kruror tu sur u men korë
E tu vul teži ežistar u la
Afin vulǧa t'amirar ditro
Mi, tu se men karo

The platform rises again.
Tu se men solo amurë
Komprendrël kë ja bisañ te
Lë monda puve eža nušën
Ja spirar tu vul ež' men

Platform reaches its maximum height, 6 meters. All eyes are now on Letizia.
Së's unë ležonë d'amurë

The song ends and she raises her hand up, as if reaching for something, while looking in that direction.

They receive a great cheer from the crowd. She says "Gretsi Kalosia! Thank you everyone!" and the platform lowers as the next postcard starts and the stage is prepared for the entry of Białogórze & Czarnorzecze.

Anastazja was born in Złote Miasto but she rised in Anastażew. She went to the local music school when she learned playing piano and singing. Her music career evolved when 17-years-old Anastazja took part in Głos Białogórza i Czarnorzecza where she won. The award was the debut album called "Życie po życiu" (eng. Life after life). The song "Temple of the Rain" is the English version of the first single from her second upcoming album "Świątynia Deszczu" (eng. Temple of the Rain).

Anastazja wears huge blue dress that covers the platform that were pushed up specially for this performance. This platform is 5 meter high. The edges of the dress are held by four dancers that are on the lower stage. They are waving the blue fabric so that it symbolizes the ocean. It refers to the Great Folkandish Flooding. This song is dedicated to the victim of this catastrophe. In the background we can see the screen that presents big single raindrops falling down and shining on the black setting. The tiny stream of the blue light outshines Anastazja's figure. At the beginning the piano starts playing giving the gentle background. Anastazja decided to sing the first part of the song in piano version to make it more patetic and build the atmosphere during her performance. Her voice is soft and full of sensitivity in the first versus.

I have run away from home
Because they always wanted to change me in something more
I heard their words but I know
They told about love from fairytales
They told about love from other space

After these words the fabric starts waving more dynamically. Anastazja's voice turns into more distressful and emotional. The melody grows and seems to be more pathetic and dramatic. During the chorus the single raindrops on the screen start falling down quicker and create the rain. The air from the ventilator dispels Anastazja's long hair.

I'm standing in the temple of the rain
The rain is falling easing pain
The words are resounding from my mouth
Spreading to the north and the south

The audience screams for a while. The dancers took off the blue dress from Anastazja and create the circle around the elevation where she stands dancing with the long pieces of this fabric. Anastazja wears the white attire underneath but she is wrapped in the chains. Her arms are crossed at heart. It turns out that she is barefoot. The chains symbolize the lack of ideas and the passivity of Folkanders during the Great Flooding that is the reason of the tragedy by many experts. The ventilator stops producing the air for a moment. The raindrops on the screen disappear. Instead of them we can see the black and white picture of Folkandish land after the catastrophe. The music after the first chorus change into the audio version without the piano. Anastazja sings the next versus with the voice full of charges and pain but it's more dynamic and stronger than before.

I have found the place to stay
After travelling a million miles a year
I remember what my mother said
She told about love from fairytales
She told about love from other space

The bright flesh illumantes the stage dazzling the audience. During this phenomenon the dancers take off the chains from Anastazja. The air from the fan dispels her white raiment and reveals her bare feet. She comes closer to the audience while the dancers are surrounding her. The screen shows the photos of Folkand before the flooding. They present smiling people and amazing buildings of Folkand. The dancers are dancing around the elevation making various modern dance figures. Anastazja sings smiling. Her voice express the hope for a better life. She put her hands up if she would sing to the dead in heaven.

I'm standing in the temple of the rain
The rain is falling easing pain
The words are resounding from my mouth
Spreading to the north and the south

A few second of instrumental between the refrains. Dancers freeze. The screen shows the sea waves. Anastazja closes her eyes and sings dosing the power of her voice:

They told about love from fairytales
They told about love from other space

Then everything turns into normal. The screen presents the photos of the ark and the people on the dry land surrounding it. The dancers dance dynamically. Anastazja pulls out her hand to the audience in the contest hall and sing with a power in her voice and the smile on her face.

I'm standing in the temple of the rain
The rain is falling easing pain
The words are resounding from my mouth
Spreading to the north and the south

The bright light in the end outshines the whole hall. Anastazja falls to her knees and sends the kisses to the audience still smiling. She says "Thank you" and leaves the stage.

Urga | Where The Elves Cry Alone

Tune | Anouk - Birds
Language | English

Image

The stage turns into the interior of the magic forest. Urga wears the white dress like in the picture. She's standing on the lower stage and the tiny stream of the light is falling on her face. There is also the couple of dancers in the background. They make different modern dance figures accordingly to the music that is played on the piano. The pianist whit his instrumentand the choristers are hidden somewhere at the back of the stage. The scenography doesn't change during the Rudolesian performance. Only the dancers and the song create the atmosphere of the entry.

I feel emptiness inside me
After all those fairytales
Now I know that I have only
Dreams in my head

All my life's an illusion
Till the conclusion

Elves running to the forest
One sunny day in August
To hide, to cry

They surrounded me when I was crying
When I was rolling in the deep
Then I felt like I was flying
I rose above

I believe in their stories,
Float in the glory

Elves running to the forest
One sunny day in August
To hide, to cry
Elves

To a place where they cry, where they despair
All they feel is just tearing pain not to compare
Because they believe in love that the human race impairs
Elves cry alone

Elves running to the forest
One sunny day in August

Elves running to the forest
One sunny day in August
To hide, to cry

Where the elves cry alone

Urga is smiling to the camera and says "Danke schoen".

30. HAFAMARIMËT
SONG: E Hud Lyna Oipüjd (I Don't Care)
ARTISTS: Kenmći!
TRANSLATION: I Don't Care About You
TUNE: 2NE1 - I Am the Best

Kenmći! is a group of four girls from the city of Zavance. They were internally selected by HafTV and presented four songs in a national final called Ycuk World Hit Festvun (A Song for World Hit Fest). E Hud Lyna Oipüjd (I Don't Care) won easily, with 77% of the televote and full marks from all but one juror, who had it as his second choice. The girls were terribly excited to perform in the contest, but also a bit nervous - they had never performed outside of Hafamarimët before. Of course, since the 12th World Hit Festival has been delayed, the Hafamari broadcasters decided to send Kenmći! to WorldVision 27 instead.

Color key:
Tëja
Sylo
Cyna

All together

The entire arena goes pitch black for a few seconds. As the bassline thunders in, a faint white glow reveals four girls standing on the central-front shapes, facing away from the audience. The rest of the lights in the arena flash quickly, mimicking the reflection of moonlight on fresh snow. As the beat kicks in and Tëja begins to sing, a thin red spotlight shines on her. The shape descends and she turns when her line is over, striking a pose. The other girls do the same in turn.

E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
I don't care what you say

As the next section of the song begins, the stage is illuminated in a light grey, while the floors remain pitch black to give the illusion that the girls are floating. The spotlights on the girls turn white and red spotlights scan the crowd, giving the arena a club feel. It is revealed that there is a dancer on the shapes at either end of the stage, which have now risen.

No
Boom baby baby, oina ycmäva
No
Boom baby baby, din ynüjt ët fymg
No
Boom baby baby, no, I don't care
Geć so'yć

As each one sings their verse, the girls are flown to the upper stage. When they are done singing, stagehands unhook them from their harnesses.

I don't care what's on your mind
You treat me like a toy
A doll
You always tell me what to do
You don't let me be free
Free

Oi bid tuf sa ët bid tuf sa

You'll come around lookin' oh so sad

go on and buy yourself another drink, I'm letting you down
oi ćöjtanat ym oin lrëlac safedr, cu keja ib
I don't care, just turn around and get out

During the chorus, the girls all dance in their own ways. It is fresh, youthful, spontaneous, honest; not choreographed, but not sloppy. It is clear that they are enjoying themselves.

E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
I don't care what you say

The girls take the first eight counts of each verse to walk to their right, to the spot where another girl had stood. They dance there for eight counts, and continue through the first two parts of this verse. The girl who had been at the end of the row goes to the opposite end. After each girl has stood in each spot, the pattern is reversed.

e fud vunkeja oi

after all you've done to me

The stairs are turned into ramps for the chorus, and the entire stadium is washed in a darker red light. The lights scanning the crowd now fade between dark blue, light blue, yellow, and white. After each girl sings her line, she slides or tumbles down the ramp.

E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
E hud lyna oipüjd
I don't care what you say

The shapes on the ends of the stage lower. The dancers step off. As the bridge starts, green lasers fire over the crowd from the center of the stage out to the corners, lighting the dancers from behind as they stand, arms stretched out. The girls dance slowly and, admittedly, somewhat strangely - though it works. The screen at the back of the stage goes black, then brightens to an incredible white over eight counts, then restarts. The lights in the arena stop where they are, though the spotlights widen and shrink opposite of the screen's patterns.

I feel a sickness when you walk in the room
Deep, deep inside
E vaam drbje

Oi ryja hulmjes sa'ujan un soränd
I feel the pain
Taab, taab fedre

I feel a sickness when you walk in the room
Deep, deep inside
E vaam drbje
Oi ryja hulmjes sa'ujan un soränd
I feel the pain
Taab, taab fedre

All lights in the arena go out except the lights on the girls for the first line of the next verse. When the music comes back in, the spotlights move more quickly than before, and also change color, so that the audience is washed in red, blue, green, yellow, and white. The screen behind the stage matches the color and speed of the spotlights. The dancers' shapes rise again. The girls kick up the energy of their dancing, sacrificing a bit of vocal quality, but putting on a spectacular show. In this last section, Tëja only sings where it is indicated; the other three girls sing the other lines together.

Boom baby baby, I'm giving you up
Yeah
Boom baby baby, e ryja kudu
Yeah
Boom baby baby, oina ycmäva
Yeah
Boom baby baby, din ynüjt ët fymg
Yeah
Boom baby baby, no, I don't care
Geć so'yć

The girls stop dancing and the lights stop moving and changing color when the music cuts, so that everything is frozen in place when Tëja says the last line. They wait nearly a whole second while the crowd cheers before they start laughing and smiling. They shout "Thank you!" and "Drëgći!" as they run together. Tëja shouts "Thank you Monterra, WE LOVE YOU!" before they bow and run off the stage, exhilarated.

I don't care about you

DIVIDE

After The success of Anna Jorgensen in WV26, bringing KB back in to the top 10 for the first time in 5 years, the Kingfordian delegation had the hard task of choosing a suitable entry for WV27 that would bring KB further success at the contest and hopefully their first victory. They had chosen the band DIVIDE, an electro-rock band that had had great success in Kingsley Bedford. The band members Martin, Andrei, Artyom, Kalle and lead vocalist Ingrid were very excited to have this opportunity. Their song "An End To The Storm" was an emotional electro-rock number about a woman in an abusive relationship and the struggle to find the strength to get out of her situation. It was the type of song typical for this band who were no stranger to making controversial songs. They were known in the Kingfordian music industry for daring to break the borders and creating music that was out of the ordinary.

As they walked onstage they heard the Kingfordian national anthem playing.a They took their places on the stage and waited for their performance to start

The band members were dressed like this The band members were in their places on the upper stage with the guys playing their instruments and Ingrid was standing in front of them. The LED background looked like this dry ice surrounds the stage around the band members.

As the music starts the camera spans across the arena before switching to the stage where Ingrid is standing in front of the band holding her microphone as a wind machine blows gently for effect. during the first 'ohhhh' water vapour pyros shoot on the sides of the stage. As the verse starts, one of the band members Kalle stands close to Ingrid and puts his arm around her neck (as if putting her in a headlock). Throughout the verse Ingrid moves her head at intervals trying to break through before breaking through as the chorus starts

ohh ohh.. oh oh oh oh
ohh ohh.. oh oh oh oh

VERSE 1:
Don't wanna open my eyes, because I'm afraid of waking up
I've been beaten, broken, fallen right down to the ground
gotta break through these chains, till the clouds are gone

After breaking through the headlock, Ingrid walks a few steps forward to sing the chorus as the camera switches between Ingrid, and shots of the band members playing their instruments before returning to Ingrid who stares into the camera trying to captivate the viewer with her blue eyes

CHORUS
I know I gotta get out and find an end to the storm
It don't matter how, I can't live this hell no more

For the second verse a steadicam operator enters the stage and circles Ingrid as she sings the verse

VERSE 2:
You say you love me, but what would you miss if I were gone?
would it be the love we had or the victim that I've become?
Every fairytale has a happy ending, but this fairytale has been nothing but hell

During the chorus Ingrid and the band members walk down to the lower stage.

CHORUS
I know I gotta get out and find an end to the storm
It don't matter how, I can't live this hell no more

The band members walk onto the platforms and as they step onto them they begin to rise up as Ingrid begins to sing the 3rd verse

Waiting for the day when the sun will shine through
Waiting for the day when it will stop and you'll say I love you
I am only waiting in vain
I know the clouds will never clear from the sky
but it is hard for me to say goodbye
but I just can't live this hell no more

During the bridge, the band members hold their arms up in the air in an 'X' shape, as they turn on the handheld laser bands around their wrists, these lasers shine up into the air in an X shape for effect while Ingrid sings the bridge. The camera switches between panning across the arena and fading to show a close up of Ingrid's face as she sings.

BRIDGE:
Will I ever find the strength to set myself free?
my only fear is that you will pursue me until I come to my own end
gotta break through these chains, till the clouds are gone

After the bridge the lasers turn off and during the chorus until the end of the song, spark pyros line the sides and front of the lower stage, and the platforms slowly begin to lower toward the end of the song, lowering to halfway up. The wind machine continues to blow Ingrid's hair back for effect.

I know I gotta get out and find an end to the storm
It don't matter how, I can't live this hell no more

eehhh yeaaaaah, ohhhh... oh oh oh oh

I know I gotta get out and find an end to the storm, ohhhhhhhhh ohhhh

I know I gotta get out and find an end to the storm

As the song finishes the platforms lower completely, the pyros stop and the band bows.

Ingrid: THANK YOU MONTERRA, VERTAKH ARJ (THANK YOU),

32. Aşkelaw - אשקלו
Libi Ateach - Ha'Filaf (The Prayer)
הפלף - ליבי אתאח

Language: Kishraeli Hebrew
To the Tune Of - Shany Zamir - Forever (Roni Meller Remix)

Libi Ateach had been short-listed as one of the acts to represent Kishrael in the 27th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, however, she narrowly lost out to Tabitha Shamaimah. Not to be deterred, she applied, with the same song to represent Aşkelaw, due to her Yiddish ancestry on her mother's side, she was accepted into the internal selection process. When Dy Bend Syndicat withdrew from the competition, Libi was called up, and was thrilled to represent the nation in the contest. The song was in the Kishraeli Hebrew language, not one of the languages of Aşkelaw, but was spoken and understood by most of the population, it was noted, however, that she was not singing in either Yiddish, Polish nor German, the three official languages of the nation, which did disappoint some.

The stage was bathed in a red and black lighting formation. Libi was standing in the middle of the upper stage, the music started, and she looked up, a spotlight illuminating her. She was wearing this dress, and looked down into the camera, starting her song, starting to sing for Aşkelaw on their début in the competition.

אני סוגרת, שלי עסים, ו'אתה כהן - Ani sogeret, sheli esim, v’atah kahan
אני רוגשת שלך אהבה ב'שלי לו - Ani rogeshet shelakh ahavah b’sheli lev
נחן לוסים רוח מן ערץ, נחן הולכים אז מור - Nachan losim ruch men zeh erets, nachan holkhim az maor
אך אני הוכרת כור זה רגשן סוף, אני שויל אך - Akh ani hokeret kur zeh ragshen soef, ani shoyel akh

As the chorus started, she confidently marched down the steps, as two dancers, clad completely in black both did a front flip in front of her, before rolling out and off to the side of the stage. They were back again during the chorus to dance alongside Libi as she wiggled her stomach and performed the modern dance routine required of her.

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
שלך קהה רי'שלי ספות יאה! - Shelakh qahah ri’sheli safot, yeah!
שנו אהבה כיצה! - Shenu ahavah kitsah!
אך כי'אכשיב כול אני ה'פילף! - Akh ki’akhshayav kol ani ha’filaf!
ה'פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Ha’filaf, filaf, oh-oh
פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Filaf, filaf, oh-oh
ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף - Ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf!

As the instrumental part began, Libi began to squat, and pump her arms from left to right, the dancers did too, all in unison. She then jumped up to sing the next part of the song, while still retaining some movement and rhythm while singing. White lights began to flash quickly across the stage, creating an almost strobe effect.

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El

As the music calmed again, the light show died down, and Libi looked to her side, a she took a breath before singing the next verse. The dancers dissipated to the side of the stage.

אתה עהלול רהוק, אך שלך רה כהן עת אותי - Atah ehlol rahoq, akh shelakh rah kahan et oti
לוא יוכל ארוך, אד שה אני רוזת אתה - Lo yokel arukh, ad she ani rozet atah
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
שלך קהה רי'שלי ספות יאה! - Shelakh qahah ri’sheli safot, yeah!
שנו אהבה כיצה! - Shenu ahavah kitsah!
אך כי'אכשיב כול אני ה'פילף! - Akh ki’akhshayav kol ani ha’filaf!

As the music once again becomes harder and heavier, the dancers come back on stage to join Libi, doing a stepping motion while folding their arms as they move in beside her. Libi then sings the next part while they form up behind her, and as she sings step out one by one, in perfect cohesion, before walking down nearer the audience and doing some break dancing movements.

וריזה לילה, נחן רוזים - V’ri’zeh layla, nachan rozim
האותון שוחבים שיולבים - Ha’oton shuchvim shyolvim
זה לילה, ווה שנו - Zeh layla, vuh shenu
שמיון רק הוכר כוה, אך כי'אכשיב - Shamayun raq hoker kuh, akh ki’akhshayav
אך כי'אכשיב - Akh ki’akhshayav
אך כי'אכשיב - Akh ki’akhshayav

The hard dance beat came back, and Libi too moved to the front of the stage with her dancers, looking down the camera, and gesturing to the crowd.

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
שלך קהה רי'שלי ספות יאה! - Shelakh qahah ri’sheli safot, yeah!
שנו אהבה כיצה! - Shenu ahavah kitsah!
אך כי'אכשיב כול אני ה'פילף! - Akh ki’akhshayav kol ani ha’filaf!
ה'פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Ha’filaf, filaf, oh-oh
פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Filaf, filaf, oh-oh
ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף - Ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf!

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El

The music slowed, and Libi readied herself for the mellow finish, smiling, she sung the last line, thrilled that she'd finished, and she'd done an excellent job also.

אני סוגרת, שלי עסים, ו'אתה כהן - Ani sogeret, sheli esim, v’atah kahan

She bowed, smiled at the crowd and waved, as they cheered her off. She was so overwhelmed that she couldn't speak, so she just smiled, beaming all the way off the stage.

אני סוגרת, שלי עסים, ו'אתה כהן - Ani sogeret, sheli esim, v’atah kahan
(I close, my eyes, and you are here)
אני רוגשת שלך אהבה ב'שלי לו - Ani rogeshet shelakh ahavah b’sheli lev
(I feel your love in my heart)
נחן לוסים רוח מן ערץ, נחן הולכים אז מור - Nachan losim ruch men zeh erets, nachan holkhim az maor
(We fly away from this land, we’re going so fast)
אך אני הוכרת כור זה רגשן סוף, אני שויל אך - Akh ani hokeret kur zeh ragshen soef, ani shoyel akh
(But I know when this feeling ends, I’ve got nothing but)

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
(The Prayer!)
שלך קהה רי'שלי ספות יאה! - Shelakh qahah ri’sheli safot, yeah!
(Your name is on my lips, yeah!)
שנו אהבה כיצה! - Shenu ahavah kitsah!
(Our love is forever!)
אך כי'אכשיב כול אני ה'פילף! - Akh ki’akhshayav kol ani ha’filaf!
(But for now all I have is the prayer!)
ה'פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Ha’filaf, filaf, oh-oh
(The prayer, prayer, oh-oh!)
פילף, פילף, אוה-אוה! - Filaf, filaf, oh-oh
(Prayer, prayer, oh-oh!)
ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף, ה'פילף - Ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf, ha’filaf!
(The prayer, the prayer, the prayer, the prayer!)

ה'פילף - Ha’filaf!
(The Prayer!)
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
(Thank you God, thank you God)
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
(Thank you God, thank you God)
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
(Thank you God, thank you God)
תודה על, תודה על - Todah El, todah El
(Thank you God, thank you God)

אתה עהלול רהוק, אך שלך רה כהן עת אותי - Atah ehlol rahoq, akh shelakh rah kahan et oti

Sarah Ozmayak: "Welcome back to our coverage of WorldVision 27!"
Boris Coshenal: "25 entries in, and already, I feel fucking bored. What is next? Is this voting?"
Sarah Ozmayak: "I wish. Next is The Atlaames, with Oceanic!"

*Oceanic*

Sarah Ozmayak: "It was quite like the ocean, but how it seems to be a children's song, I doubt it'll get my vote."
Boris Coshenal: "If you sincerely think it is good, which it may be for a young viewer, call us at 1-800-915-6911, press 3, then 6. If you are online, click 26, at worldvision.luz. If you are texting, send 'ATLAA' to 6911."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Do you think this will win?"
Boris Coshenal: "Hell no."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Next is Kalusia..."
Boris Coshenal: "She meant our host nation, Kalosia, with Love Lesson. Fun fact: this is the 27th entry of the 27th contest? Coincidence? I think not."

*Love Lesson*

Sarah Ozmayak: "I do not need any education in love, thank you very much."
Boris Coshenal: "Especially since the music is cheesy, the genre has been beaten to death like a dead horse... If you think this is good, press 3, then 7, if you are on a computer, on that site, click 27. If you are texting, send 'KALOS' to 6911. Not 'KALUS', lest your vote be accidently registered as Kalusia."
Sarah Ozmayak: "It better be a temple of rain."
Boris Coshenal: "Funny you say that, that is the title of the next song. Which country?"
Sarah Ozmayak: "Bialogorzhe and Tsarnorzechze?"

*Temple of the Rain*

Sarah Ozmayak: "This song makes a magnificent lullaby, I highly recommend it if you are a parent looking to lull your young ones to sleep."
Boris Coshenal: "It is quite peaceful too, as if we are not in a temple of rain, but the temple of peace. Quite unlike my native fatherland, Efsanevi..."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Anyways, if you are on the line, press 3, then 8 to vote for Bialogorzhe, on a computer, click 28, or text us at 6911 with 'BITSA'."
Boris Coshenal: "Next is Rudo... Rudoliche..."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Rudolesie."
Boris Coshenal: "Grazie. Where the Elves Cry Alone."

*Where the Elves Cry Alone*

Boris Coshenal: "It is quite boring, to be frank. Not a lot of action, the vocals are meh, and the acting, it is pathetic."
Sarah Ozmayak: "They do not even exist, for the life of God! If you plan to vote for this crap, if you are on a phone, press 3, then 9, if you are online, click 29, or text us at 6911 with 'RUDOL'."
Boris Coshenal: "Next up should be better. Hafarimyht."
Sarah Ozmayak: "I doubt it."

*I Don't Care*

Sarah Ozmayak: "It pretty much repeats, like mad."
Boris Coshenal: "Way better than the first 'entry' that we saw on this contest. That was horrible, absolutely bad, and no sane person should have to watch this."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Anyways," *switches to English* "yadda yada press 3, then 0, yadda yada click 30, yadda blah blah blah text at 6911 with 'HAFAR'." *switches back to Luziycan*
Boris Coshenal: "Next is Kingsley Bedford with An End to the Storm!"

*An End To The Storm*

Boris Coshenal: "It is an okay entry. I can sense it has talent, but it did not reach the same allure as its winners."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Did they ever win?"
Boris Coshenal: "Yes, WV13 and WV17."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Now, if you plan to vote for this entry, which I agree with Boris here, you may call us at 1-800-915-6911, press 4, then 1, if you are at worldvision.luz, click 31, and if you are texting, text us at '6911' with 'KINGS.'"
Boris Coshenal: "I think now is Ashkelaw."
Sarah Ozmayak: "The Prayer, but judging by the name, they are probably some Indian nation."

*The Prayer*

Sarah Ozmayak: "It is absolutely repetitive. If God was sane, he'd smite that singer for making an idiocy of a paean to God."
Boris Coshenal: "I wish. Why does he bother with this? This entry is JUST hovering above Alexandr Land. This song should be sent to Hell and be judged by Allah."
Sarah Ozmayak: "If you think this is even a good song, press 4, then 2 on the phone, or if you are online, click 32. If you are texting, text us at 6911, with 'ASHKE.'"
Boris Coshenal: "I sincerely hope this entry goes to hell. Seriously. This entry, deserves divine intervention against it! I call a..."
Sarah Ozmayak: "Enough! Anyways, we are going on yet another commercial break. We hope to see you in a few minutes, hopefully, with some better entries."

KB COMMENTARY

WITH
NATALIA MOLOROVSKAYA
&
ANNA JORGENSEN

Natalia: Welcome back to WorldVision 27 live from Monterra, Kalosia, Next up is Luziyca

LUZIYCA:
Natalia: So we've gone from porn star entries and sex to christians singing about god. What a change of direction from Luziyca
Anna: I find it quite boring, but some might like it, I'm guessing christians will vote for it
Natalia: We're getting reports that 87 in the audience have been blinded by the light in this performance, how christian of them to cause harm to innocent audience members.
Anna: That might cost them some votes, people don't like not being able to see the rest of the show... what a shame they won't get to see the wonderful performances we have ahead. Shame on the Luziycans!
Natalia: To vote for Luziyca add 11 to the number on your screen

FROMULYA:
Anna: And now for a country which is sending their first entry... Fromulya
Natalia: Our second religious song of the night and in a row too, it was okay, but not a winner
Anna: To vote for Fromulya add 12

NORTH DUQUESNE:
Natalia: Another Debuting nation... North Duquesne
Anna: I like it, it's interesting, Well done on a great debut entry
Natalia: Not bad, I'm not surprised you like it, it's very Nordic in its nature.... I would expect a Scandinavian-Kingfordian to like it.
Anna: To vote for North Duquesne add 13

BLOODBATH GENERATION
Natalia: Now Bloodbath Generation's entry
Anna: They've sent Rebecca Meade and Hayden Jarvies
Natalia: Rebecca is the sister of Lauren Meade who represented BG a few years ago.
Anna: Very deep and emotional song, I like it, but the noose is a little depressing
Natalia: to vote for Bloodbath Generation add 14

KALUSIA
Anna: Kalusia is singing now... and they've sent Liquid Helium, a rock band where the members are an average age of over 60... power to the old timers
Natalia: Lovely song, nice usage of the stage, it's really come in handy in usual
Anna: I love it... the old timers rock!
Natalia: To vote for Kalusia add 15

KOFEIYA:
Natalia: Kofeiya is debuting, and they've sent a song called 'eleven years of torture'
Anna: It's amazing! I love it.
Natalia: Emotional, powerful, expressive... political?
Anna: It has political origns but documents the history of a struggle in their nation
Natalia: oh how nice
Anna: I like the rock feel, it's nice to see so many rock entries this year.
Natalia: I can actually see this doing well. Believe it or not I think it will.
Anna: to vote for Kofeiya add 16

CROLACIA:
Natalia: And representing Crolacia is Peter Lindgren
Anna: He's cute... is he single?
Natalia: ha ha ha.. he looked very nervous, but he delivered.
Anna: Awww... they're so cute when they're nervous
Natalia: Nice song though
Anna: Yes, nice song.. and cute singer
Natalia: to vote for Crolacia add 17

VAKOLICCI:
Anna: Not bad, more rock, I like a lot...
Natalia: Didn't leave an impression on me
Anna: to vote for Vakolici add 18

NEW WARWICK:
Natalia: Nice quirky entry from New Warwick
Anna: stunning performance, I like it
Natalia: Good luck to them
Anna: To vote for New Warwick add 19

THE ULTIMATE EVIL:
Natalia: They're back, the infamous Ultimate Evil, last time they killed audience members, and got away with it... now with a song called "Tapan Sinut" or 'I will Kill you' let's see what they have instore for us... and the unfortunate audience members
Anna: Nice folk song. Reminds me of an old folk song my grandmother used to sing
Natalia: your grandmother used to sing "I will kill you"
Anna: she was a weirdo...
Natalia: And they didn't disappoint with harming the audience... they threw flaming crowbars at he audience but the fantastic security staff managed to act before they could cause any fatal damage and a few escaped with minor injuries. We're told Kalosian authorities are investigating it but are not planning to detain the enterants from TUE
Anna: to vote for this horror of an entry add 20

Natalia: We'll be back with more from Monterra after this break. Including the act from Lactatia... I can't wait.

Kingfordian Commentary part 4

Postby Kingsley Bedford » Sun Jul 28, 2013 5:48 am

KINGFORDIAN COMMENTARY
With: NATALIA MOLOROVSKAYA & ANNA JORGENSEN

Natalia: Welcome back to WorldVision 27 live from Monterra, Kalosia, next up is Lactatia... Boloqueefa singing "Swag on my YOLO"

21. LACTATIA ENTRY:
Natalia: Woah, that sure was something wasn't it. It's what we have come to expect from them in the last 3 years they've taken part, but it's still a surprise when you see that performance.
Anna: I enjoyed that, I couldn't stop laughing, she's awesome, gotta love that swag don't you?
Natalia: *Sarcastic voice* oh yeah, you gotta love it don't you?
Anna: I'll say it again... she's awesome.
Natalia: I'm just going to take this bottle of Vodka away from you as you've obviously had too much
Anna: Aww... anyway, thoughts on the song?
Natalia: "It starts off as a nice ballad with dance influences and if it weren't for the lyrics that are so typical Lactatian.... not serious that is, you'd think it was a serious entry... then it turns into what appears to be some kind of second song with terrible vocals that proves it to be the joke it is.. I just don't think it's that good, why would you want to deliver such a bad performance that ruins such a nice melody?"
Anna:" I liked it it was humorous and I like fun entries... I think we needed something to lighten the mood after that entry from TUE... so I welcomed it... you just can't handle her swag Natalia."
Natalia: "Oh please"
Anna: To vote for Lactatia add 21

22. ZWANGZUG ENTRY
Natalia: Not bad... Not as good as what they sent last time, but I think it's alright
Anna: I liked it, I think this would've been better as an instrumental entry with no vocals, it would certainly make it stand out, because the lyrics rhyme horribly and almost remind me of a DANAE song.
Natalia: Oh god, I hope they're not trying to go down that road. but come on it wasn't that bad, it had a storyline at least... A DANAE song has no storyline and just talks about everyone being together. this is about heartbreak at least... very emotional, but annoying at the same time,
Anna: Alright maybe I was being a bit too harsh, especially because I did like the song.....
Natalia: maybe
Anna: If it had been instrumental it would've been fantastic, but this is still a great entry, I don't know where this will end up in the scoreboard, it's hard to say.
Natalia: to vote for Zwangzug add 22

23. DE LA FLEUR ENTRY:
Anna: that was De La Fleur's entry... "Loverboy" sung by Elizia Del Valleta
Natalia: I'm upset there was no male stripper this time... hmph!
Anna: the guy was still cute though
Natalia: I'm not much of a fan of this crazy melody thing we're seeing a lot of lately... it just doesn't appeal to me unfortunately
Anna: I think the lyrics are alright though and their performance was rather flamboyant to say the least
Natalia: What else do you expect from a former porn-star?
Anna: Well the only thing they didn't do was have sex onstage
Natalia: but they did the closest thing to it possible... that's what they were implying they were doing in their performance
Anna: So where does the mobile phone come into all of this?
Natalia: I don't know, I have never heard of a couple on the phone while having sex
Anna: I just hope they didn't wear out those platforms, we still have more songs that need to use them.
Natalia: To vote for De La Fleur add 23

24. RUGENIA ENTRY:
Natalia: Now for Rugenia's entry... represented by Hannah Bergström singing "Heute Nacht"
Anna: Loved it...
Natalia: Does that have something to do with the fact there's some Scandinavian in the singer...
Anna: Absolutely not... it's just a coincidence
Natalia: So the fact that Hannah's father has Norwegian origin has nothing to do with the fact that you... a Scandinavian-Kingfordian likes this song?
Anna: Not at all, I like the song, it's very similar to something I would record. I like this type of sound, and it's a great song
Natalia: The singer herself seems very confident they will do well, Rugenia is known in WorldVision for achieving 2 consecutive victories... a feat that not many countries can say they have achieved... so maybe they will do well. I think the performance was very strong and the song has great potential so I think she can achieve top 10, it's possible.
Anna: To vote for Rugenia add 24

25 Tödlichebujoku:
Natalia: A debuting nation. Tödlichebujoku, what did we think of their first entry?
Anna: Nothing special... it's alright but nothing that jumps out at you
Natalia: It sounded like a disney ballad, but was very emotional. It's okay, but it's not a winner.
Anna: to vote for Tödlichebujoku add 25

26. THE ATLAMMES:
Natalia: Another debut... this time it's The Atlammes... Olexandra singing "Oceanic"
Anna: Nice song, very "oceanic" indeed
Natalia: To vote for Atlammes add 26

27. KALOSIA
Anna: You can hear the crowd going wild.. that's because it's the host country's song.. KALOSIA!!!!
Natalia: What the *bleep* is she wearing? It looks damn uncomfortable.
Anna: Great song, catchy and fun. I like it a lot. Very good effort from Kalosia
Natalia: And an amazing stage show... I loved how they did that costume change... the dress just disappeared into the trapdoor. And the new dress was stunning.
Anna: And then look at the love heart bed... so well done.. this is a very strong entry both musically and visually. The host country has gone all out this year.
Natalia: Watch out for this one... it could be a winner.
Anna: to vote for Kalosia add 27

28. BIAŁOGÓRZE & CZARNORZECZE
Natalia: Bialgorze & Czarnorzecze is next... god I hope I pronounced that right.
Anna: It's a tongue twister, that's for sure
Natalia: I loved it... modern, sophisticated and well staged
Anna: I loved the dubstep elements, it's so nice to see so many modern entries this year.
Natalia: I can see this becoming a hit in KB... it's got everything to make it a hit...
Anna: To vote for Bialogorze & Czarnorzecze add 28

29. RUDOLESIE:
Natalia: Rudolesie is next... Urga singing "Where The Elves Cry Alone"
Anna: Beautiful... simple but beautiful.
Natalia: Sometimes simple can be the way to go, and it works
Anna: To vote for Rudolesie add 29

30. HAFAMARIMET:
Anna: Hafamarimet is next...
Natalia: It's catchy... that's for sure...
Anna: the stagehands on camera isn't a good look though
Natalia: No, not at all... but the rest of the act is good
Anna: to vote for Hafamarimet add 30

Natalia: We're going to take a break and get ready... because after the break it's time for the Kingfordian entry! See you soon.... we'll be back with more WorldVision after this..

WorldVision Song Contest 27 - Monterra, Kalosia (IC Thread)

Postby Russadonia » Sun Jul 28, 2013 4:03 pm

33. Russadonia
Lana Lazarova
Sovy Letyat

Lana Lazarova was believed to be a solid choice to represent Russadonia at this year's WorldVision Song Contest. It was felt that since the nation was represented by a native English-speaker during the previous edition, it would be more than appropriate to select a candidate from the Russian-language dominated northwest part of the nation. Since the English speaking areas were only able to successfully fight for independence after joining the nearby Russian colonies to create a stronger federation, Russadonia needed to display the strong Russian roots which are a vital part of the nation. Russadonia has developed a unique dialect of Russian which is only spoken within its borders.

Lana was born in New Yekaterinburg in 1984. She not only considers herself an artist, but a strong humanitarian and activist who fervently speaks out against the anti-gay rhetoric being spread across the landscape of her ethnic homeland of Russia. Russadonia is proud to present its own singer-songwriter as a beacon of hope to oppressed peoples all over the world.

The stage is dim, save for a dark purple light cast across the stage. They begin to to fade to a lighter-shade of purple, showing Lana standing in the middle of the stage close to the front. She is wearing a custom dress, and behind her, the screen shows a sunset. The sun is disappearing behind the horizon, turning the pink sky slowly into black. Behind her stands four dancers, two male and two female, are dressed in ancient Greek costume, meant to represent ancient deities. They each represent a separate deity: a beautiful redhead is Aphrodite, a tall graceful brunette is Athena, a handsome and muscular man represents Apollo and, finally, a tall and lean man with blond hair represents hermes. They are each standing completely still in a pose which represents their deity. The music begins.

под розовым солнцем - ты мне сказал “навсегда.”
pod rozovym solntsem - ty mne skazala "navsegda."
но я знаю - ты не любишь меня.
no ya znayu - ty ne lyubish menya

Lana reaches outward toward the audience while holding the microphone. The dancers change poses completely in sync with one another.

мудрость сильнее чем ненависти, и я простила
murdost silnyeye chem nenavisti, i ya prostila

The dancers change poses again.

совы будут летать вокруг Луны, я буду счастлива
sovy budut letat vokrug luny, ya budu shchastliva

The sun has disappeared, now a moon has risen and a beautiful night sky is shown. The female dancers walk to either end of the stage and begin to dance gracefully, The two males walk toward Lana and stand on either side of her before gracefully lifting her in the hair and placing her on their shoulders. The walk her the middle pillar and it begins to raise. They walk to the ones on either side of her and they rise to a slightly lower place. They begin to dance.

Афина будет отвечать на мои вопросы. Ты не злодей - я уже знаю.
Afina budet otvechat na moyi voprosy. Ty ne zlodei - ya uzhe znayu
как Aполлон играет на свой магической лире, я тоже играю.
kak Apollon igraet na svoi magicheskoi lire, ya tozhe igrayu

Purple and blue lights begin pulsing around the edge of the stage. Lana is very animated while singing, motioning her arms in front of her. The screen behind is replaced by owls flying through the night. They are traveling over a long distance including a forest, waterfall, and the skyline of New Yekaterinburg.

как деметра в зимой, ты курьер любви и ненависти
kak demetra v zimoi, ty kurer lyubvi i nenavisti
идет дождь в пустыне, и ты не видишь пути
idyot dozhd v pustyne, i ty ne vidish puti

The screen shows a busy street in New Yekaterinburg in fast forward, cars drive past and pedestrians walk around. The sun rises and sets, and the moon does the same. The female dancers walk to either side of the pillars where the males are standing and they are all lowered. Lana rests her arm on Apollo's shoulder. The chorus begins and lights are slowed to quick, bright bursts every 3 seconds.

совы летят - ближе к небу, совы летят - ближе к солнцу
sovy letyat - blizhe k nebu, sovy letyat - blizhe k solntsu
совы летят - Я скучаю по тебе, совы летят
sovy letyat - ya skuchayu po tebe, sovy letyat
совы летят - ближе к небу, совы летят - ближе к солнцу
sovy letyat - blizhe k nebu, sovy letyat - blizhe k solntsu
совы летят - Я скучаю по тебе, совы летят
sovy letyat - ya skuchayu po tebe, sovy letyat

Lana is at the front of the stage again singing while her dancers dance behind her. The screen is once again owls, this time resting in the trees as the sun sets yet again.

Афина будет отвечать на мои вопросы. Ты не злодей - я уже знаю.
Afina budet otvechat na moyi voprosy. Ty ne zlodei - ya uzhe znayu
как аполлон играет на свой магической лире, я тоже играю.
kak Apollon igraet na svoi magicheskoi lire, ya tozhe igrayu
как деметра в зимой, ты курьер любви и ненависти
kak demetra v zimoi, ty kurer lyubvi i nenavisti
идет дождь в пустыне, и ты не видишь пути
idyot dozhd v pustyne, i ty ne vidish puti

The dancers keep dancing, as if taking cues from rhythmic gymnasts and ballet. The lights begin to glow a rainbow of colors, alternating between red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, indigo, and pink.

совы летят - ближе к небу, совы летят - ближе к солнцу
sovy letyat - blizhe k nebu, sovy letyat - blizhe k solntu
совы летят - Я скучаю по тебе, совы летят
sovy letyat - ya skuchayu po tebe, sovy letyat
совы летят - ближе к небу, совы летят - ближе к солнцу
sovy letyat - blizhe k neby, sovy letyat - blizhe k solntsy
совы летят - Я скучаю по тебе, совы летят
sovy letyat - ya skuchayu po tebe, sovy letyat

Two large owls fly in from either side of the stage. Athena, who has gracefully danced her way over to Lana, holds her arms out to reveal two cuffs covering her forearms. The owls land on the cuffs and Athena walks to the center pillar. The owls make another circle around the stage before landing on Athena once again.

совы летят - ближе к небу, совы летят - ближе к солнцу
sovy letyat - blizhe k nebu, sovy letyat - blizhe k solntsu
совы летят - Я скучаю по тебе, совы летят
sovy letyat - ya skuchayu po tebe, sovy letyat

Her arms fall to her sides and the lights on stage go out. The dancers have moved back to their pillars which have been risen again. A single spotlight shines down on Lana.

Спасибо, Калосия!
Thank you, WorldVision!

Verse 1:
Under the pink sun, you told me "forever."
I know now, you didn't love me.
Wisdom is stronger than hate, and I forgave you.
The Owls will fly around the moon, and I will be happy.

Verse 2 & 3:
Athena will answer my questions, and I already know you aren't the villain.
Like Apollo playing his magical lyre, I also play.
Like Demeter in the winter, You are the messenger of love and hate.
It is raining in the desert, and you cannot see the way.

Chorus:
The owls are flying - closer to the heavens, the owls are flying - closer to the sun.
The owls are flying - I do miss you. The Owls are flying.
The owls are flying - closer to the heavens, the owls are flying - closer to the sun.
The owls are flying - I do miss you. The Owls are flying.

I decided to take a leap this time and compose completely in Russian. Please be lenient on me, I'm only in my second year and still struggling with much of the grammar and mechanics. Thank you!

34. Serzchepha
"My Love" -- Elena Katëzola

Music: Nikki Williams - Glowing

As the she entered the stage, while the applause from Russadonia's performance died down, Elena Katëzola felt light as a feather. She had been given a second chance from one of the biggest disappointments of her life so far. The national selection had been extremely competitive compared to other years, and her song written in English had been disadvantaged from the start. SRË, the national broadcaster liked to alter between Sergovard and English entries, and here year was one where an entry in Sergovard was preferred. However, in the semi-finals her song had become a fan-favorite. It had only lost to Anë Adago's "Din Elo Si Argë" by five points in the final round, a finish so close to that the loss had crushed her. As the runner up, she would become the Sergovard entry in WorldVision 27 if the winners were unable to perform, which had never happened. When she got an unexpected call that Anë Adago would not be able to perform she didn't believe it at first. It would be her first entry on a stage outside of Serzchepha, an opportunity for her to shine on the world stage.

The song was personal. She had been inspired from her previous failures in her romantic life, as well as struggles in her career as a singer. Despite all odds, she had not let the criticism take away from her ability as an artist. She walked up to the microphone confidently, wearing a yellow dress, and as the music began, she started to sing.

The stage was dim at first. She was the only one on stage as a yellow spotlight shone on her.

My love was unconditional
But that’s not the same love I have found
Now my heart’s in strife
It is unbelievable
I refuse to let it get me down
And now I realize…

The lights behind her lit up in bright yellow to reveal two female backup dancers with golden hair, wearing similar but shorter dress, began to dance in sync with the second stanza. Elena looked directly at the crowd, telling them exactly what she felt.

Don’t break me, don’t break me, I’m not so tractable
I won’t cry, I won’t cry, I will be powerful
Shake it off, shake it off, I’m indestructible

Lights from above shone all around Elena at the start of the next verse

It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star
It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star.

The lights stopped and the dancers started to move slower as the music once again began to slow down.

My love is invincible
I won’t let it be pushed into the ground
Now I’ll do what’s right
It is unstoppable
The confidence which I resound
And now I realize…

Don’t break me, don’t break me, I’m not so tractable
I won’t cry, I won’t cry, I will be powerful
I’ll shake it, I’ll shake it, I’m indestructible

It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star
It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star.

Elena danced around the microphone as she began the next verse. The crowd began to clap in motion with the song as the music slowed down once again. The dancers retook their slowed dance, almost looking as if they had been put into slow motion.

My love is conditional
I won’t settle for the love I’ve found
Now I’ll live my life
This is so wonderful
All the strength that’s come around
And now I realize…

The back up dancers began to dance around Elena. Elena closed her eyes and looked upwards as she hit the high note.

It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star
It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star.

It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star
It’s a whole new start, I’m a rising sun
And sure enough, I will be the brightest star.

The music stopped and Elena shouted, "Faristë, Monterra! Thanks Monterra!" as her and the dancers exited the stage.

B&C coverage by Jan Szymański
PART 1

Image

Jan Szymański is a famous Czarnorzeczan composer and music producer. He's a part of jury in 'Głos Białogórza i Czarnorzecza' (the Białogórzan-Czarnorzeczan edition of 'The Voice'). Jan was collaborated with many artist from the country and made them succesful.

01. Alexandr Land /Ziemia Aleksandra/
The first starting position is always a little bit risky especially if it's a song like this. Maybe B.O.R.K. is very popular is Alexandr Land but I don't think that the song about the dictators will be placed high by the world. The WorldVision Song contest is not the place to politicking. I have to say NO.

02. The New Lowerlands /Nowe Niższe Ziemie/
The two male singers singing about the love to the same girl. I can say that it's a good subject. The lyrics are really considered. However, the performance is too static and I'm not sure if it will be noticed among all these entries we have in the WorldVision 27. I stay neutral.

03. Lymantatia /Lymantacja/
"Love is Together". Is it gramatically correct?! I don't know but it sounds strange. The song is written in Dutch. I don't know this language and I can't say anything about the lyrics, I'm sorry, Lymantatia. But I can describe the performance. The main thing of the Lymantatian show is the play of lights. For me it's not enough to call the performance good if the song is so happy and dynamic. Where is a movement?!

04. Grandterre /Wielka Ziemia/
A girlsband is what we need in WV. But I haven't say that it's a good girlsband. The song is so childish and static like Lymantatian entry. The lyrics are repetitive and it's getting annoying after the half of the performance. What about the outfits? They are childish like their song. The only positive thing is that they fit the show and the song.

05. Groteberg /Grotberg/
TBA

06. Kishrael /Kiszrael/
I don't like the house and dance music industry but I have to objective. It's a pity that Kishrael hasn't sent a song in Hebrew. The English ones are so common here. The performance is perfect. Everything is refined in detail. The song isn't that good, I'm sorry. The lyrics are okay but the tune is so cheap. I'm sure that Kishrael won't repeat the previous result.

07. Fusha Me-Bar /Państwo Łąk/
The Albanian language is magical. This entry is a strong pop song that can be placed high. The performance is dynamic and not exaggerated. I really like her dress that changes colours. It makes the show even more interesting. I would definitely vote for this song if I should send my vote now, but there are more songs in the contest, so go ahead.

08. Communist Quinntopia /Komunistyczna Kwintopia/
And we've got a catchy rock song representing Communist Quinntopia now. What about them? They are the winners for me so far, seriously! The boys did a good job and the performance looks brilliant. Communist Quinntopia shoul be very proud. The lyrics are so clever and fit the music. I can't say anything else. I's wonderful.

09. Polkopia /Polkopia/
Oh, Johanna, you're amazing! The song is getting into my mind and can't get out. I almost love the tune. It's so original and catchy. It's fantastic that she sings in her national language. It can give her a few more points. I fell in love with the Polkopian entry. The world resounding from her mouth are perfectly written and I can't criticize them.

10. Zavlia /Zawlia/
The sisters Gilovpatet perform with the 10th number. They are singing in their national language. I don't know how to rate this song. I even like the lyrics but the music seems very cheap to me. Zavlia uses orchestra during its performance and this is what they really need to improve the song. The other thing is that there isn't anything that suits each other on the stage.

KTV Coverage of the WorldVision Song Contest - Monterra|Kalosia
With Perah Kemainah and Gal Ohayon

Perah: Hello Kishrael! We're here in Kalosia tonight, for the 27th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest!
Gal: Yes! Last year Kishrael hosted the contest, and this lovely lady beside me represented us, achieving out best result to date, a bronze medal finish, and you weren't too far off first, were you?
Perah: Haha, no I wasn't! But tonight is not about me, or Kishrael. We all did a great job, but now it is back to Monterra, who are hosting again after a five year hiatus, the country has had a name change too, some of you remembering Monterra in Mediterra.
Gal: Yes! Right, now, where are we? Ah, opening acts. We'll just let you guys watch this, you don't need us ruining the start of your night. Here we have last year's winner, Levi Schäffer, with "Hypnöhser".

All that Introduction Jazz...

Perah: Okay! First up we have Alexandr Land, they débuted last year in Kishrael, but finished disappointingly, can they improve this year?

Alexandr Land performs...

Gal: Looks like they'll be hugging the bottom of the scoreboard again this year.
Perah: It's a shame, they didn't have too bad of a début, but it seems like they've just taken 3 steps backwards, I don't think we'll be seeing this as a challenger I'm afraid.
Gal: The lyrics don't really resonate with me at all either, they just are repetitive gobbledygook... It's a shame really, but, ah well, WorldVision just isn't the place to make a political statement...
Perah: Okay, you know the number to call if this is the song for you, it is on your screen now!

Gal: Next up we have another country that made their first appearance in Kishrael last year, The New Lowerlands. They too didn't make much of an impact, let's hope they can change their fortunes this edition.

The New Lowerlands performs...

Gal: Well, that was rather dark, wasn't it?
Perah: I thought it was good! This is what Alexandr Land should've done. It is clear to see that New Lowerlands are improving as a nation, maybe they could become a powerhouse one day. I like the lyrics, perhaps they are not as cohesive as they should be, but they are strong, and there is a strong back story to it also.
Gal: But I have a feeling today is not that day. The English is not exactly perfect, a clear example of English as a third language or fourth language.
Perah: English is the third language for many in Kishrael though is it not? I didn't really find much of a problem with it, and you have to remember, most people will probably be speaking English at the same level as the performers themselves, so I personally don't view it as much of a problem.
Gal: Meh, I think most Kishraelis are better at English than that, anyway, the number to call is on your screen now if New Lowerlands did it for you.

Perah: Okay... Now we have... Oh... We have Lymantatia next guys... buckle up...

Lymantatia performs...

Gal: Make it stop... please make it stop...
Perah: Ehehehe... what can I say... What on earth can I say to make this better?
Gal: Nothing... Just, who are performing next Perah...

Perah: Next we have... Oh goodness... It's Grandterre...
Gal: Ziyun...

Grandterre performs...

Perah: Um...
Gal: It was short, I'll give it that, although it was still 1 minute 23 seconds too long.
Pera: Well... it's over now...

Gal: Next we have Groteberg... Are you actually serious? Are you actually, actually serious? Why? Why can they do this? Why can they participate? WHY!?

Groteberg performs...

Perah: It is over! The Lymantatian attack is over... We can breath...
Gal: I didn't think we'd make it through Perah...
Perah: Hold me Gal! I'm still fragile!

Gal: Look! We're up next! Tabitha Shamaimah going all out tonight, with "I Realise". You can't vote for this one folks, so don't try!

Kishrael performs...

Perah: You don't understand how much I love that song Gal... I just love it so much, look, I've got tears in my eyes, I just love it! Tabitha, you are just too good!
Gal: Meh, not my style, but people may like it more because it came right after the horrible slaughter of the ears from Lymantatia and its cronies.
Perah: Hopefully we can maintain our top 10 record in the competition with this. I'm not sure how people will receive, let's hope they receive it positively, because I just love it, ahhhhh!
Gal: Remember! Don't vote for Tabitha, you will be wasting your money and you will look silly!

Perah: Okay, so now we have Fusha Me-Bar! They usually send a good song to the contest!

Fusha Me-Bar performs...

Gal: I love the lyrics, I really do, and the message behind them too. What I don't understand is the performance, what the heck were they thinking?
Perah: I'm not too sure to be honest. The outfits are wacky, but I think they represent how Xhevahire and her love are different to others maybe?
Gal: Meh, still doesn't explain the crazy dancers. The music though, the music kicked ass, so powerful!!
Perah: I liked the music a lot, the Fusha Me-Barian broadcaster was changed this year, and the new guys really want to do well it seems, after some disappointing results. Good luck to them!
Gal: Okay, the number on your screen is the one to call if you liked Fusha Me-Bar!

Perah: Alright! Our next act comes from Communist Quinntopia! They gave us 12 one year, not to me (grrrr) but anyway, here they come, it's The Peasants with "Fissures"!

Communist Quinntopia performs...

Gal: Yeah, yeah, I like this, I can rock to this. A good, strong entry from Communist Quinntopia.
Perah: While I admit that it isn't to my taste, I can appreciate a decent song when I hear one. The music is nostalgic in a strange way, I don't know why, but it just reminds me of something. The lyrics do remind me a little of their débuting song, "Journey to Hell" I think it was, but if it's a formula that works for them, then be my guest!
Gal: I think the more colloquial lyrics will connect with voters, you can really swing it either way, go for something grand, ie. New Lowerlands, or something informal, like Quinntopia have done here. I think they can get a top ten with this, no problem.
Perah: I agree. Anyway, the number is on your screen to vote for Communist Quinntopia!

Gal: Next up, we have Polkopia, which has recently emerged as a powerhouse in WorldVision, with a song in their national language, "Du Glaza", by Johanna Sputman.

Polkopia performs...

Gal: You know, last year when Polkopia reached second place, I was angry, because that song was so overrated, and really, quite crap. This is however everything that the last one wasn't. It has an great melody, some nice lyrics, and they sung in Polkopian, which I always like to see.
Perah: I agree with you, they certainly deserve a top ten finish this year. I do however think the Polkopian language is a little, I don't really know the word, but, it's ugly. It would sound good if she was giving a rallying speech to the Polkopian army, but I just don't think their language can really express the true delicate nature of the song itself.
Gal: I take your point, but I quite like the powerful sound of the Polkopian language, but I guess it's not to everyone's taste, which I think the Polkopians can accept too.
Perah: Yes, anyway, to vote for Polkopia, call the number on your screen now!

Gal: Next up is a song from our good friends Zavlia! Let's see if they can pull themselves out of the 80's for once!

Zavlia performs...

Perah: It's much better than last year, and we gave them out twelve last time too, I think they'll be getting another guaranteed twelve tonight as well.
Gal: I want to like this song so much, because they are our friends, but that music is just dreadful, it is absolutely dreadful...
Perah: I think you're being a little dramatic. Anyway, the Zionist in us all will be picking up the phone to vote for this, so yes, as I said, twelve to Zavlia tonight!
Gal: Yes, I concede that we will be voting for them. Certainly for the average Kishraeli, there are a number of words you can pick out from the song which have meaning.
Perah: And the lyrics themselves are quirky and unique, I think Zavlia will get their highest result ever tonight. To vote for them, which I know you will, call the number on screen now.

Gal: Now, we're taking a commercial break, so when we return, we'll have another load of songs coming up for you to hear, see you soon!
