The Slivern Grand Temple 9:45 AM
The Slivern Grand Temple is a popular tourist attraction in the Nation's capital city. It had constant traffic in it. As a result, nobody noticed the two young men walking in with backpacks. They quickly walked into the bathroom in the front entrance and went into the front two stalls. They left the backpacks in the stalls and walked out of the temple. By 9:55 am the bathroom filled with smoke and a the backpacks burst into flame and then an explosion. The whole front of the temple was immediately taken by fire. The whole temple filled with chaos and screams.
The Executive Mansion 10:00 AM
President Gerald Robinson was sitting in a meeting with two of his advisers. Suddenly, the Minister of Internal Defense burst into the office. He went right to the President and whispered into his ear about the attack. The president immediately dismissed his two aids and traveled to his desk in the situation room. When he walked in his whole cabinet was waiting for him. He had a file on his desk about all the information about the attack. Already 3 had been confirmed dead and several more injured. All the screens were showing news reports about the attack. Finally the President spoke "Alright I want the most update information. I'm want to know who did this and why. Ken I want you to address the nations. Thank You." He went back to his file. All of his advisers noted that the president also was detached in all governing affairs.

News reports kept coming in from the major networks and federal agencies kept reporting in. An military aid walked into the conference room and spoke "Mr. President, an Agent of the Department of special investigations is on the line." President Robinson nodded in acknowledgement and picked up his phone. "Hello, Mr President." The agent said. "While searching The video streaming site FlickerBook, we found the following video." On the screen in the front of the room, the Presidential Seal faded to video. The video was very low quality. The picture kept cutting out and the sound was fuzzy at best. They were only able to distinguish a few words "Hello....Slivery....Pay.....Sins....Aeon Shall return.....The Pater,...Power....Bomb...We...Our Group....Temple...The future...More to Com..." The video abruptly ended and the agent spoke again "Our techs are working on cleaning up the video but a trace was completed. It traced to a warehouse in the business district. We are storming it as we...." Pausing now, it was possible to hear chatter in the back round. The agent spoke again "Sir, as we speak our agents have taken the warehouse.No people were inside, but, they found tons of fertilizer, gasoline, and other such explosives. The bomb techs are securing the area. We believe the cell is still active, but small. This is all of the briefing." The president turned to his press aid and said "Alright call the media, I'm going to be out in 30 mins. Call the army, tell them we're at DEFCON 4"

"Members of the Press, The President of The Commonwealth of Slivery" As the Press Secretary said this, the reporters stood up and the President walked out and began to speak "Hello my fellow Sliverns, today our nation suffered a heinous blow. The Grand Temple of the Capital City was attacked. This attack was not only on stone and cement, but on one of the greatest signs of culture, history, and life in Slivery. It was also an attack on innocence. Those people who now lay dead in the temple's ruins had committed no crime. But they were killed none the less. I have only this to say to those who committed these heinous attacks; You will be found and you will be taken to justice. Slivery shall endure, but you will not. And now to those nations who have so kindly agreed to send aid, I request that all aid be sent to the Ib Airforce base in Martoken City. I will greet you there with further instructions. Commander Aaron Bronson's cargo plane now landed in the designated spot of the air force base in Martoken City. There, the workers and soldiers alike began carrying various supplies out, from computers for the base, to security hard drive, to even ammunition and foot and various metals. They had multiple crates full of supplies with them. Commander Bronson stepped out, looking for the President of Slivery.

Immediately following the press conference, President Robinson left for the Air Force Base. As the limo pulled up he was given a file. "Mr. President reps of the nation Alithis Eleferia have already arrived." Said His Minister of Internal Defense. "The co is Bronson." As he limo pulled in the President greeted the aid. "Commander Bronson, Hello, I am President Gerald Robinson of Slivery. We thank you for coming to Slivery in our hour of need. Here to oversee the briefings is my Minister of Internal Defense, Daniel Delinar." Minister Delinar picked up where the President left off, "We will be housing you here in the base to keep all parties safe. You will be assigned to work under members of the Department of special Investigations. They will guide you through Slivery. Now some specifics." Pausing momentarily to cough, the minister continued, "We already have 45 confirmed dead and another 100 injured. We already believed to have tracked down the source of the explosion but, not the attackers. Because of the amount of explosives found, we don't fear a second attack, so intelligence will be the main point of your mission. Thank You."

"But another attack is obviously possible, no doubt. So preparation should be made. The base I'd like to build is one. Is there a location for it to be built?" He asked as he followed them toward the limo, followed by a few workers who led the others needing the answer for the building of the base.

President Robinson responded "You application is being processed by the Ministry of Urban Development. It just take a day or two to process it. In the mean time, we will offer you residence in the base." As he spoke, a van pulled up and two men got out. One of the men began to speak "Hello I am Agent Jones with the DSI, and this is agent Baker, we will be you liaisons with the Department of Special Investigations. Do You have any questions for us?"

"Right now, I only must ask now about what happened. Who is truly involved, and why? What have you gathered so far?" He asked as he shook Agent Baker's and Agent Jones's hands, now entering the vehicle with them.

As agent Jones pulled a folder out of his coat pocket and handed it to Commander Bronson, he said "Here's what we know so far. Early this morning two men walked into the Grand Temple, the biggest temple of the church of Aeon, and they set off two large bombs, which were hidden in backpacks." Agent Baker added "In terms of Motive we can't be sure, but we found a video which we believe was posted by the group who set off the bombs. That's all we kn..." The briefings were interrupted when both agents phones rang. After a brief conversation, they turned back to the Commander. Agent Baker spoke again "Alright, we have just received some more information. First a history lesson. Up until 1963, Slivery was ruled as a theocracy, headed by the Church of Aeon. After the theocratic government was toppled, some resistance to the commonwealth remained. The biggest group is called the Aeonite Restoration Group. This group uses violence to spread their message. We thought they were broken up a couple of years ago, but, that was not the case it would seem. The groups former lead, Aaron Lemas, was arrested, tried, and convicted of terrorism and is currently serving a life sentence. We never could find his second in command, David Harriot. Low and behold, today he appeared again cutting into a news stations coverage of the event. He spoke about his idea of a new crusade and how attacking the temple was to sepreate 'nonbelievers from the believers.' He threatened more attacks. He also said the warehouse we found was just a threat and not the real store." Agent Jones cut in "The rest of the information we have is classified so sorry about that. Do you have any more questions?"

"Can't say I really do, except if my workers and soldiers currently here will receive any housing?" He stated now, taking in now what he learned. It was obvious this was an attack based off of symbolism, symbolizing a rise in power. "The group obviously wants to overthrow the government for their own, this was a message to the government, military, and citizens all alike."

Nicolaus nodded, saying. "Fair enough. Should we take a drive as we speak or no?" He asked now, looking around the area.

At this Agent Jones turned to the driver of the vehicle and told him to go. "We are headed to a secure location to help prepare you and your team for what lay ahead." He said.

Bronson nodded, going into the vehicle now and relaxing in his chair. As they spoke, he listened and relaxed, wonder what will be said and how he should respond.

As the van pulled into a parking garage, its passengers got and went to a window where they flashed their badges. The guard grunted "whose the other guy?' Agent Jones responded "He has exec clearance." The guard nodded and let them into the base. They quickly moved into an elevator which took them up to the top floor. When the elevator opened it was clearly visible that the whole building was made of glass. The trio walked into a large conference room where several other people were already sitting down. The woman at the front of the table broke the silence. "Hello" She said "I am Morgan Stocken the Minister of Justice for Slivery. By executive order you will be granted Clearance Level 3. This will grant you accesses only in the scope of our investigation." She paused to take a sip of water and then said "Do you understand?"
