With the formation of Hessian Air, the requirement for a larger airport was soon recognized. Von Richter International Airport (VRIA) is named after the famed President of Hesse Kassel. VRIA was finished several weeks ago and is now accepting applications for companies and nations to contract it for use. VRIA is owned by Hessian Air and staffed by the Hesse Kassel government. VRIA has strict laws on what passengers may take on flights and is staffed by Hessian National Guard 24/7. vRIA is located in Kaiserhelm, Hesse Kassel
