What does your nation take as spoils of war?

Does your nation take gold,territory, do you annex others nations? are you imperialist?
Do you take slaves,sex slaves,wives,concubines,daughters ect,ect,ect, art? weapons? what do you take when you win a war or pillage and plunder?
do you ravish women?

silver?,Diamonds?,Valuables,women,children,banners,men? Do you take any of these things?

The tradition of taking "spoils of war" has been condemned in no less than four cases within the Allied Stellar States of Gideus. It is a practice seen not only as barbaric but also unnecessarily cruel.

We take enemy land, oil, money, people (to transport them to a more libertarian country if we are liberating people), we also take enemy technology. Sometimes we just leave the nation in total anarchy, or he set up a government like our own to feed off of the resources and the people's tax dollars. In capital and major cites, we normally burn and ransack them. Anyone police officers, military soldiers, and government officials of that opposing side will be taken to be jailed for the rest of their lives or executed.

Infact, it's more or less 'Winner takes All' on a national level.

When it comes to foreign civilians and the likes though, we just let them go. Either that, or we offer them the chance to become indentured servants to their new Dragonkinian masters.

We take precious minerals (jewels, silver, gold, the usual), precious plants/plant products (hemp, opium, various herbs and spices, cotton, etc.), and occasionally territory (though not often).

We also take people who were being held as slaves by the enemy nation, so as to set them free.

Oh, and the body parts of enemy troops. Olwean soldiers are infamous for taking trophies.

Planets, starships, processing power, technologies, information. Sapients are not taken as slaves or prisoners due to multiple conventions on the rights of sapient beings.

We haven't waged war in eons mainly because we're content to exist without disturbing anyone. Poking us with a stick might possibly provoke us to eradicate an entire quadrant, stripping it of all life thus guaranteeing that we've eliminated the species that pestered us. Collateral damage? But of course.

We don't care about increasing our territory or gaining new species, nor do we have any use for the "natural resources" or the primitive technology of most space-faring races. We return to our witherwards and leave these dead zones for others to harvest at their leisure.
