The CSA has many resource alternates that are used primarily as resources hubs. Other alternates are being colonized while others are closed to interference and only used for scientific purposes.

We control numerous star systems but prefer colonizing multiverses as they often prove more valuable and easier to travel to.

The CSA would probably be capable of galactic travel or intergalactic travel had it not discovered multiverse travel so early in its technological growth.

Special Notes about your civilization: Our tech tier is more like tier 2 and a half. On top o f the benefits of a tier 2 civilization (minus the FTL capabilities, since we have the ones from tier 1), we can manipulate gravity, create fully sentient AI (which are actually commonplace within the empire), fabricate super dense materials and haven super accurate FTL capabilities. However, we cannot create life (unless cloning counts as creating life), worlds, and beam/energy weaponry is very rare and expensive. We also have two-way teleportation.

Our civilization is mostly based on non-magical industry and technology, since it is cheaper and safer, but some of our technology (such as antigrav airships and reactionless propulsion) is basically Magitek. However, magic only bends the laws of physics slightly. It provides neither free energy nor FTL thus far. (We also have interdimensional communication and travel of an unspecified nature.
