Allinlian Baseball League! (ABL)
this season marks a new direction for the ABL as the expansion into Strawbee and the addition of 2 new teams (The Peerson Warlords and The Kanaassa Legends) bringing the league total up to 32, the owners have voted to split the league into 2 leagues of 4 divisions of 4 teams each instead of the old system which resulted in 2 divisions having an extra team. The new division format is more friendly to geographic proximity and the new TV deals which were signed in the offseason
An extra playoff spot will also be added, meaning that in each league all 4 division winners + 2 wildcard teams will advance to the postseason. In BCCC action the Allinlian teams mounted another mediocre campaign but it was enough to net the Allinlian Baseball League the 12th rank in the international competitve standings
Last season saw another surprise champion as the Fonzona Giants surged to the league's best regular season record and then proved it was no fluke by taking the championship. Now the slate is wipped clean for everyone and all 32 teams are eager to compete for this year's emperor's series crown and represent their league in the BCCC
