Averi: And we're back! This time we're actually broadcasting live from Shatilaurchev!
Kela: Yes indeed. While we're mentioning that, we should give a very big thank you to our pilot. He went through hell to get us here before the show ended.
Averi: You'll also be happy to hear that we made it before Vampirum's performance, or so we're told. Told ya' we could do it!
Kela: Right now we're in a nice area where we can see all the action. No more small screens for us. We're moving on up Avey.
Averi: *Laughs* So before we get back into the performances we'd like to remind you to get your nocturnal butts in gear and go post up your thoughts and excitement about the show on Bitter! We know you have some crazy things to tell us, and we can't wait to hear it. Remember folks: We're streaming live by the second! So our reactions will likely be the exact same you have as it happens. So without further ado let's sink our fangs into the competition once again.
Kela: .....sink our fangs? Really? That's the best you could come up with? I should have locked you up on the plane.
Averi: Yeah, just like I should have locked your mouth shut so you could actually be quiet for once. Annnnnd now we're jumping right into it with De La Fleur!

De La Fleur performs

Kela: I LOVED that performance.
Averi: You mean you loved the male stripper.
Kela: Both really. The performance was already good, but the stripper was just the cherry on top of the sex cake.
Averi: o.O Sex cake? I'm not even going to bother. Besides the slightly unneeded – though attractive – male stripper, I thought it was a very strong song. The lyrics were good and that singer has some powerful vocals.
Kela: Yep. She's a debutantă, or débutante, as they say, who I think will do well with the voters. It really had a catchy rhythm to it; *sings* dancing man, dancing man. That man can dance in front of me whenever he wants. *Gives the camera a wink*
Averi: Ah, so that'll be before you drain him dry then?
Keri: Depends on how well he can dance in private.
Averi: Soooo we're going to ignore that last comment and remind the viewers that they can vote for De La Fleur by dialing 07 on their holophone. Or they can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote De La Fleur07.
Keri: Who knows! If you vote for them, De La Fleur might mail you your own personal male stripper. I hear strippers are great for birthday parties and cheating on your husband. So all you desperate ladies out there, get to voting.
Averi: Up next we have The New Lowerlands.

The New Lowerlands performs

Kela: Now that's a catchy tune.
Averi: I agree, and with some great vocals to boot. The lyrics....I'm not so sure about.
Kela: Yeah, but you have to take a bit of pity on them. Being on that stage, representing your country, that can't be easy for anyone.
Averi: Exactly.
Kela: Maybe if De La Fleur had let her borrow their stripper. Seeing a naked male's ass always did help me.
Averi: You know what. Everyone at home, we're going to play a little game. Every time Kela says something extremely stupid I want you to take a shot of alcohol, as long as you're old enough that is. To those brave enough to take this challenge I pity you, and I hope you don't mind getting VERY drunk before this show is over.
Kela: Sounds like a hater to me. You know, maybe if you saw more male bottoms you wouldn't be such a prude. (Stupid meter: 1)
Averi: Ladies and gentlemen that was your cue to begin your first of what will be many rounds of drinking. But I liked this song and the melody is going to be stuck in my head for a while. Can it get some votes from you Vampirians watching? We'll find out. Vote for New Lowlands by dialing 08 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote New Lowlands08.
Kela: Well let's not be idle. Up next we have someone whose not new to the Worldvision stage, Bloodbath Generation.

The Bloodbath Generation performs

Reserved commentary

Kela: To vote for Bloodbath Generation make sure to dial 09 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Bloodbath Generation09.
Averi: Performing next is Lymantatia.
Kela: Ah, the infamous Lymantatia...that's weird, I thought I heard someone in the background scream in fear. They can't be that bad.

Lymantatia performs

Kela: Well it moved fast.
Averi: Quite fast indeed. But I don't know, I...liked the melody?
Kela: It would have been better with that male stripper from De La Fleur doing a live dance on stage. (Stupid meter: 2)
Averi: Hmm....It's better than some of their previous entries I hear.
Kela: I was tapping my foot so it really was a pretty catchy tune. But the performance, I don't really know what to make of it.
Averi: o.O What performance? It was just lights on and lights off.
Kela: Think this could get some votes from us? (Stupid meter: 3)
Averi: How about you go ahead and vote first and the rest of us will vote behind you. Way way way way way way behind you. To vote for Lymantatia along with Kela you can dial 010 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Lymantatia010. Up next we have?....
Kela: Oh...err...up next we have Grandterre.

Grandterre performs

Averi: Sounds awfully familiar to Lymantatia. Maybe they're anime fans or something?
Kela: Either that or they're on some new form of drugs that we don't know about. It's like...everything moved so fast. I'm a vampire and could barely keep up with half that song. It was just one big explosion.
Averi: And the lights....think vampires can get seizures?
Kela: If so, we'll be the first ones to find out. To vote for the new way to kill vampires make sure to dial 011 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Grandterre011. Taking the stage next is Groteberg.

Groteberg performs

Averi: Yep, sounds like the other two.
Kela: But I did like the guitar, it had a bit of a retro feel to it
Averi: Yeah I liked this one a bit better than the other two...I guess? I'm not really sure to be honest.
Kela: The melody was nice we can say that much. But the wedding dress? What the hell was up with that? o.O
Averi: I think I've been lost two entries ago Kela. But I agree, I did like the guitar and in some parts it was even pretty cool. You could even say it was upbeat in a hyperactive way. But they could have done much better with the performance. It was almost nonexistent. But maybe the viewers thought differently? If so you know what to do! Dial 012 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Groteberg012.
Kela: Well let's keep this gravy train going shall we? Next we have Lactatia!

Lactatia performs

Kela: Hey Averi.
Averi: Yeah?
Kela: I bet you can't say Booquayquay Shaniqua'Boo ShawtyMuthaTrucka Smith ten times without messing up.
Averi: *Rolls eyes* Really, Kela? I'm 172 years old. I've seen and heard more longer names than that.
Kela: Fine. So it should be super easy then. Alright, let's hear it.
Averi: *Sighs* Booquayquay Shaniqua'Boo ShawtyMuthaTrucka Smith, Booquayquay Shaniqua'Boo ShawtyMuthaTrucka Smith, Booquayquay Shaniqua'Boo ShawtyMuthaTrucka Smith, Booquaquaa...
Kela: *Laughs* Booquaquaa? I didn't know she changed her name.
Averi: *Narrows eyes* Just shut up and let's talk about the song.
Kela: First of all, what the hell is chicken?
Averi: I think I've heard about it before...maybe 80 or so years ago. But I've never seen any. Is it some type of candy?
Kela: Why would someone eat fried candy?
Averi: I don't know! Humans eat funny stuff, don't ask me.
Kela: Maybe it's...what do humans call it? Fruit?...
Averi: I still think it's candy. Anyway, what did you think about the song?
Kela: I liked the rap part, but some of those lyrics flew over my head. Pimp-daddy? Really?
Averi: I hear it's a word for someone who owns a prostitute of sorts.
Kela: Ah. Well the tune itself was pretty nice plus it's not something you can easily forget. Which might help it come voting time. Think so?
Averi: We'll find out won't we? To vote for chicken, or whatever it is. Make sure to dial 013 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Lactatia013. Up next is Fusha Me-Bar.

Fusha Me-Bar performs

Kela: What a surprise, that was none other than Na. My little sister is crazy about them.
Averi: I liked the song. Really good tune, pleasant lyrics, and even a slight lesbian feel. Right up your alley, right Kela?
Kela: Ah, Avey you know me so well. Those are some bloody hot girls too. Think they'd mind a four way? (Stupid meter: 4)
Averi: I think it's best not to humor that question with an actual response. But all in all I thought it was a decent entry. It's not the weakest so far, but is it the strongest?
Kela: Who knows, it could get a few points from the Vampirians. If you want to vote for this possible lesbian hotness you know what to do people. Dial 014 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Fusha Me-Bar014.
Averi: We're going to keep this ball rolling as Québec takes the stage.
Kela: Quebec is known for their strong entries, so I'm sure this will be no exception.

Québec performs

Averi: And that was Québec. What did you think?
Kela: It was very well organized that's for sure. I can't find anything bad to say about it myself.
Averi: The singer had a great voice and the musicians played amazingly. I think we'll see Québec in the top ten without a doubt. It really was a beautiful song.
Kela: And let's not forget the lyrics. I'm sure all the female viewers out there enjoyed some of those lines: I will read through our letters and photographs, and wander in my dreams trying to find you. I can almost hear the girls swooning now.
Averi: It did start off a bit slow in the beginning before the singer actually began. But that didn't make me dislike the song.
Kela: I agree, and of course, the performance was very symbolic. I think it's safe to say we've seen another strong entry from Québec.
Averi: To vote for Québec dial 015 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Québec015.
Kela: Coming up now is Russadonia.

Russadonia performs

Kela: *Sings* You only see me in the dark. I only want the night in black!
Averi: I take it you liked this one huh?
Kela: Hell yeah I did! It had such a goth feel to it. I loved everything about it. My favourite part was the chorus...somber chaos sounds so good, just gives you the chills.
Averi: This song would definitely be at the top of the Vampirum Billboard Charts, that's for sure. You know I love a good guitar play and this song had that ten fold. I thought the skulls and skeletons were a nice touch too.
Kela: It's one of those niche' things, you know? You have to really get the darkness to appreciate just how good this song is. Considering we're a vampiric nation, as gothic as it comes, it's like they just spoke to us.
Averi: For once I have to agree with you Kela. It's actually one of my favourites performed so far. I can see this getting some good points from us.
Kela: *Nods* Really solid entry from Russadonia. To vote dial 016 on your holophone. Or you can go to WorldVision's official page on either Facebat or Bitter and vote Russadonia016.
Averi: On that note we're going to take a little break. Blood don't drink itself, you know. BUT! We'll be back shortly with more commentary!

FiKrEt- A Thousand Colours of Happiness

FiKrEt, the usual Pop Rock artist has recently been slightly influnced by Psychedelic Rock. He walked on stage wearing a green jacket with no shirt and black pants. The players set up in the background started playing this (until lyrics in this song start).
He goes up to the microphone stand and starts singing.

I woke up in heaven
Such a sight, I never imagined
There was a rainbow with colours of seven
To me, it was more like a thousand

He pauses.

A thousand colours of happiness

He then walks away from the stand and around the stage. He then returns to the stand.

I remembered your deep brown eyes
I could see a thousand colours of happiness
You never told any lies
You always had the colours shining in you

He then detaches the microphone from the stand and sings louder around the stage.

I believe that was true love
But does it exist in heaven?
I flew away like a dove
Now I only have colours of seven

The lights become multi coloured, and start waving everywhere. Then, the guitar solo starts (1:46)

A thousand colours of happiness

The lights go back to normal.

Now I am gone
You are left behind
I was just a pawn of your father's homicide

He takes off his jacket, revealing his fit (but not very muscular) upper body.

I believe that was true love
But does it exist in heaven?
I flew away like a dove
Now I only have colours of seven

It becomes clear the players in the background are wearing angel's clothes and the wings are reflecting light.

The angels shine a thousand colours of happiness
Though I cannot stand this loneliness
I must be with you
Be happy with you
Then there will be true colours of happiness
Or else I will go crazy, I insist

The players play this intro as it fades out.
''Thank you'' he says just before he tosses his microphone into the audience.

33. Venasta

Maria Workatova - Worth It
Tune: Valentina Monetta - Crisalide

Maria has been internally selected by the Venastan Broadcaster to represent Venasta at the Worldvision Song Contest. She had several songs back in Venasta that reached the top 100 best selling songs. She won several awards including 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Voice' at the Venastan Music and Artist Awards. Afterward, she recorded her best-selling album, 'Under My Wing', which has sold a total of three million copies worldwide. After her selection for representing Venasta at the Worldvision Song Contest, Maria has received a massive amount of support from local citizens. She, along with Venastans everywhere, hope to bring the honor of winning an international song competition to Venasta for the first time in Venasta's history.

As Maria took her place on the stage, the background scene represented that of a night in the middle of a forest. A full moon surrounded by trees everywhere was displayed in the middle of the background screen. Maria wore a dress with a beautiful leaf pattern displayed on a white background, and her hair was done exactly the way she is normally pictured, in order for viewers to recognize her, as she has been on world tour in the past. Three backing singers accompanied her on stage, two of them who were in the back left corner and wore simple black dresses, and another one who was dressed in an authentic wolf costume that was near the back.

Orange: Maria
Red: Backing Singer(s)
Blue: Maria and her backing singers.

The music began to pay, and a howl could be heard, coming from the backing singer. the camera panned in, and it looked as if it was a real wolf howling in front of a large full moon.

Ohhh....

Maria stood in the center of the stage before a microphone stand, which she firmly grasped in her hands as she sang.

Mhmm...

There's no need to run away
Run away from what you love
and leave all your dreams behind.
Just believe in your own strength, and you will see
That you are worth it all

What are you running from?
Where will you run to?
Why can't you just see?
You deserve it, just trust me
Whatever it may be
Don't let them tell you that you can't

Dark clouds now came into view in the background, and fog now began to creep onto the floor of the stage.

You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence

Maria now took her microphone off the stand and began to wander around the front of the stage as she sang, singing directly to the audience.

Why do people bring us down?
Why do people make us frown?
Why don't they leave us alone?

Everyone is different
In their own special way
We can't please everyone.

You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence

A sunrise seemed to appear on the stage, lighting up the stage is different hues of red, yellow, and orange. The foliage of the forest came into full view and Maria moved back to her microphone stand and spread out her arms as if she was about to fly.

Don't get up and leave
You're still perfect to me
And if you still do not know
Get up and I'll show you

As the up-beat part of the chorus came into view, Maria's two backing singers made their way to Maria and proceeded to stand on either side of her. Maria made arm movements, extending her hand out to the crowd, then to her left, right, etc., and her singers did the same, although they did not sing.

You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence

Worth it... yes you still are to me
Don't you ever... say that you're not
We all know that you are
We all know you're a star
Just believe that you are...

Worth it...
Worth it...
Worth it... Worth it to me.

As she sang the last part, the lights flickered on and off in different parts of the stage, until the very last note, where they all shined bright at the same time. When she finished, she bowed and said "Thank you!"

Rici Sentasi: The problem i see is in the lyrics...
Madem Palorvikk: Do tell me what you find flawed in going out for a night of fun...

Madem Palorvikk: I have to agree this time. Even the English lyrics were...off-putting.

Rici Sentasi: *sigh* i don't have any comments... i'm ready for this to be over...
Madem Palorvikk: perhaps we should go back to having more commercial breaks?
Dana Simmons: Well, Vampirum is up next... They won't dissappoint.. We REALLY liked them last time...
Madem Palorvikk: We like Kingsley Bedford too, but that didn't stop him, did it?

NATV commentary
With Daniel Clarkburg and Melisa Aydin

Daniel: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! It is yet again another Worldvision edition, and we can't wait to hear all the songs!

Melisa: And we have high hopes that there will actually be actual songs that aren't about sexual experiences.

Daniel: Haha, and to start off the night- Communist Quinntopia!

1. Communist Quinntopia

Daniel: That was nice.

Melisa: That's all you can say about it? I think that was wonderful! Wonderful!!!

Daniel: Yeah, it was worth listening to. To vote for Communist Quinntopia, text 1.

Melisa: Up next is Luziyca.

2. Luziyca

Daniel: I wasn't even listening, she was hot.

*Melisa slaps him gently*

Melisa: Boys. All I can say is that the song was awful.

Daniel: If you would like to vote for the sexy Luziycan entry, text 2.

Melisa: Next we have Polkopia!

3. Polkopia

Daniel: It was alright, nothing too special, in my opinion.

Melisa: I liked it, at least it wasn't about kissing someone's ass.

Daniel: Well then. To vote for Polkopia, text 3.

Melisa: Now the host nation! Kishrael!

4. Kishrael

Daniel: Hm...Interesting. Who is that woman?

Melisa: Kind of a somber song, but nice. The use of Hebrew makes it really authentic.

Daniel: The performance was nice too.

Daniel: To vote for Kishrael, text 4.

Melisa: Next is a debuting nation, Jarfriour!

5. Jarfriour

Daniel: Not my cup of tea.

Melisa: I don't know why, but that slightly depressed me...

Daniel: To vote for Jarfriour, text 5.

Melisa: Next is Alexandr Land.

6. Alexandr Land

Daniel: Meh.

Melisa: I agree with you, Daniel. I couldn't see too much creativity in there.

Daniel: To vote for Alexandr Land, text 6.

Melisa: We will be back shortly after this commercial break.

QBC-Official Coverage of the WorldVision Song Contest 26(1)

Diane: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the 26th Edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, held in Shatilaurchev, Kishrael! I'm Diane Merton, one of your commentator for tonight's show.
Corneille: And I'm Trois-Montagnes. I'm the other commentator for tonight. Good to see you again, ladies and gentlemen. We're right now, at Yosef Ben D'Or arena in Shatilaurchev, Kishrael.
Diane: This is the 4th time that The Royal Kingdom of Quebec's participating in the WorldVision Song Contest. For previous editions, we have performed consistently well, with 6th,2nd and 3rd for the last 3.
Corneille: For so long, their musical consistency and performances were well praised and enjoyed by the people Worldwide. Will we be able to continue our standard of excellence, after an unfortunate absence in WV25?
We'll see. I hope things go well for us.
Corneille: Up first, we have the Opening Act.

Opening Act

Diane: It was disappointing.
Corneille: Seconded. This totally lacked much creativity and originality. It seemed like Kishraeli organisers clearly didn't know how to use their creativity to do that.; they shouldn't just recycle from their debut entry and WC25-winning Polkopian entry. That's just... too dull.
Diane: At least their Menorah performance, which featured families of different nations around the World, was great.
Corneille: True, but not enough to save many from boredom.
Diane: Mehhh. It was good enough. Better than nothin', you know.
Corneille: But....
Diane: *sigh* Moving on, we have Communist Quinntopia. They traditionally have performed very well on WV circuit. Will they continue to do so?
Corneille: We'll see. Mesdames et monsieurs, Communist Quinntopia!

Communist Quinntopia performs....

Corneille: What do you think of it? I think they had great performance, certainly an improvement from their last entry.
Diane: I just don't like the lyrics and music. While they fit the performance, it was....meh. No points on my side.
Corneille: Well, you never seemed to like Quinntopian entries. Why is this so?
Diane: Same old things. I just find the entrants' lyrics either too violent(23) or sub-par(25). The Last Stand's instrumental was marvellous, but the lyrics was a mere piece of shit!
Corneille: Mehhh. I liked their performance.
Diane: And I did not. Moving on, if you felt like this song is a winner, send '1101' on phone or 'COMMUNIST QUINNTOPIA' on our website.
Diane: Moving on, we have Luziyca.
*A warning sign is placed above the commentators, saying 'CAUTION: 18+ ONLY.'
Corneille: Well, sorry kids. Please don't watch this if you don't want to be traumatised like how me and Diane did ever since their dress rehearsal.

Luziyca

Corneille: Seriously. I get that sex and violence In WV are prominent nowadays but this.... is just too much.
Diane: And not to mention that there was too much autotune involved at there. In addition to that, the background music sucks!
Corneille: And not to mention stupid lyrics...
Diane: Ugh. It's stupid, overly sexual and generic. On par with 'Hump Hump. *facepalm*
Corneille: Well, at least we didn't have innocent spectators being killed.
Diane: Whatever. Please restrain yourselves from voting. It will still be open, but will cost around $30 per vote. You can vote via '1102' On SNS or 'LUZIYCA' on http://www.qbc.que/WV25.
Corneille: And we're already on our first commercial break of the day! See you within a minute, folks!
D'amour ou D'amitie, the official commerial song of the QBC is on, as the program changes to the commercials from 3:35-3:52.

Nikolai: Hello everyone, and welcome back to the NFTV commentary of the Worldvision Song Contest, held in Shatilaurchev, the capital city of the wonderful nation of Kishrael, who, so far, has done a wonderful job of hosting such an event. We've had a very nice show so far, and we're ready for it to continue on. Up next, we have the nation Acraddia, who is being represented by Elspeth DeChance. Let's see how this goes, shall we?

17. Acraddia

Nikolai: What a lovely song for such a dark tune, I must say. In my opinion, the song provides one of those haunting feelings, but it sticks with you, and will continue to stick with you for a few days. Marvelous song from a beautiful girl with a lovely voice. A bit simple on the performance, but a nice entry from a debuting nation, nevertheless.

To vote for this song, please add the number 17 after the number provided.

Image

18. Valcluse

Nikolai: Well, it has a nice beat and all, but I think it comes off as a bit generic to me. Nothing really special about this performance to make it stand out above the rest. I won't be surprised if it does well, but there are a few entries here that deserve to do better. It's not a bad song; Ms.Bjornsson has a spectacular voice, but it's just not a memorable song to me.

To vote for the entry from Valcluse, please add the number 18 after the number provided.

Image

19. New Warwick

Nikolai: Well, I think this song will be the death of me, because I can't decide if I like it or hate it. The performance was a bit simple, rightly, but maybe it was missing something? The lyrics are pretty good, a bit different, and definitely not a typical entry from New Warwick. We'll see how this will do, because I really can't predict how this song will do. We'll just have to wait and see, now won't we?

To vote for the Glass Grenades from New Warwick, please add the number 19 after the number provided.

Image

20. Syrche

Nikolai: Really not my cup of tea. I actually hate this type of music, but many people don't, so I don't expect a particularly low position for this group, but I am crossing my fingers that they don't do all that well. The only thing I like about this song is the lyrics, which seem to move me in a sort of weird way... anyway, yeah, not my favorite of the night. I preferred their entry last edition much more.

To vote for this entry, please add the number 20 after the number provided.

Image

21. Kinglsey Bedford

Nikolai: Pretty good song, for a pop song. I personally don't like pop songs all that much, but this is an exception. The lyrics and performance seem to bring this song down a bit though, however I hope that it will not affect the overall placing of this song. One of their better entries over the last editions, I'll say.

To vote for this entry, please add the number 21 after the number provided.

Image

22. Rugenia

Nikolai: A bit of a fun song, here. Not a fan of the profanity though, but it seems to work. I feel like this song should do well, but I'm not sure it will, being a bit of a rap and hip-hop song. Nevertheless, a good performance and entry by the nation of Rugenia and their artists, Dimitry and Adrina.

To vote for Dimitry and Adrina, please add the number 22 after the number provided.

Image

23. Kalusia

Nikolai: Not a particular fun song, in my opinion. Then again - I doubt that's what they were aiming for. I think that it might have a chance at standing out above the rest, only because of the different instruments used, such as the trombone, but other than that, the song itself is pretty bland. Certainly not a bad entry, however. Might do well with a certain type of crowd. Unfortunately for Wêrno Rêzâ, I am not a part of this crowd.

To vote for Kalusia's entry, please add the number 23 after the number provided.

Image

24. Vampirium

Nikolai: Wow! Another fantastic entry by Vampirium! This nation always seems to send entries that are much different from the rest, but yet, seem to remain popular with the crowd, and I highly respect this nation for doing so. They're always fun to see what sort of song they'll enter in this contest. Performance was pretty good, enough to keep the song in a solid position, but that dress.. I'm not a huge fan of the dress, but it wasn't terrible enough for me to hate it, and I certainly hope that Lillian supporters everywhere will end up voting for her, regardless. Also, I ave to add the fact that I love the Romanian bits that they've added. Very nice!

To vote for the song by Lillian, who comes from the nation of Vampirium, please dial the number 24 after the number provided. We're going to take a short intermission, and we'll be back with you all shortly.

NATV commentary
With Daniel Clarkburg and Melisa Aydin

Daniel: We're back! With plenty of more commentary!

Melisa: Let's take a look at De La Fleur's entry.

7. De La Fleur

Daniel: Those male pole dancers...they blinded me!

*Melisa giggles*

Melisa: Honestly, I found it weird. I didn't like it.

Daniel: ...To vote for...this odd entry, text 7.

Melisa: Next we have The New Lowerlands.

8. The New Lowerlands

Daniel: Nice. Good use of different languages, especially French- I love French!

Melisa: Good lyrics too.

Daniel: To vote for The New Lowerlands, text 8.

Melisa: Now performing: Bloodbath Generation!

9. Bloodbath Generation

Daniel: At first, I wasn't sure what this song was about. Then I heard it was about a Bloodbathian folk tale about a homosexual boy who told his witch mother about this, and she told him into a hunchback werewolf. He roamed the forests until he found someone else like him. Interesting story, nice to learn about other traditions. Overall, nice song.

Melisa: Really? I think I like it a bit more now.

Daniel: Good for you. To vote for Bloodbath Generation's entry, text 9.

Melisa: Next is...oh. Next is Lymantatia. I wonder what they have this time. *smirks*

10. Lymantatia

Daniel: Uh...it could be better...

Melisa: I liked it, it was just that it was just too repetitive!

Daniel: To vote for Lymantatia, text 10. Although, I advise you not to.

Melisa: Next up is Grandterre.

11. Grandterre

Daniel: Next.

Melisa: Didn't like it.

Daniel: If you want to vote for this, text 11.

Melisa: Next is...ugh, Groteberg.

12. Groteberg

Daniel: I didn't understand a single word.

Melisa: Me neither.

Daniel: If you want to vote for this, text 12.

Melisa: We will be back after these commercial breaks!

Daniel: Thank God!

35. Thalice
"Grosimesi" (Footnote) by Maria Stephanidoi + Zinnia GeNeSis
(Μαρία Στεφανίδου + Ζιννια ΓεΝεΣις - Γροσιμεση)
To the melody of Just Desserts, by Marina and the Diamonds + Charli XCX
Sung in Thalician Greek, with some lines in English

Maria Stephanidoi and Zinnia GeNeSis: two reasonably famous Thalician singers, brought together especially for WorldVision 26 in Kishrael. Maria was born in 1985, and released her first EP in 2009 and her début album, which was moderately succesful, in 2010, however, that was in a quite different music style compared to her current style: her 2009 and 2010 songs were happy, more acoustic and sometimes even lo-fi. The songs on her 2012 album have more electronic sounds in them and are often more sad. Zinnia was born in 1992, and released her début album this year. She is often accused of copying Maria's style, however, Maria herself obviously doesn't agree with this. When they were asked to record a song together for WorldVision, they both said "yes" wholeheartedly. They came up with "Grosimesi", a song in Thalician Greek, which could easily be called Thalician instead of Thalician Greek, as the language was far from a dialect (however, the languages are really similar to each other: they use the same alphabet, they sound the same, and lots of Thalician words meen something in Greek, often something totally different than the meaning in Thalician).

"Grosimesi" was about running into horrible characteristics of your partner you overlooked, often referred to as the footnote or the small print, (a kind of "dark side" of him) when the relationship is already established and there's no turning back anymore. Maria and Zinnia knew the song by heart in the meantime, they were sure to deliver a fabulous show, instead of focussing too much on their vocals.

Maria felt nervous, while Zinnia had no trouble putting her nerves aside; she was one big chunk made of energy. The act from Middlele had just left the stage: Maria and Zinnia totally ignored them, with the exception of a brief "hi!", the song from Middlele was the kind of song that made you ashamed of actually performing at WorldVision. A stylist added a bit more hairspray to Maria's hair and painted the little heart on her cheek over one more time with eye liner. Zinnia tapped Maria on her shoulder, as a sign telling that they had to enter the big stage. Hand in hand they walked up the stage, receiving loud cheers as Thalice's postcard was shown.

The song started with a really cool sound effect, as if a tree trunk or a huge rock rolled down a hill. When the real music started, a few lights turned on: all colored pink. Some pink dots on the background screen, but the pink spotlights were the most prominent lights. The pink spots moved and the lights on the background screen flickered as a pre-recorded women's voice sang 'ohohohohohoh'. The silhouettes of Maria and Zinnia could be seen, they were both standing in the same manner, while moving their bodies to the beat as well. As the intro was over, the spots all moved to one point: Zinnia's head, while the lights on the background screen kept flickering. Zinnia wore a pink-black striped version of this outfit. She started singing, although some others called it talking, while making almost no facial expressions.

Yeah, le grand moment suprême perasia dinai (Yeah, le grand moment suprême had already passed)
Pragmo erothetai ela gypsiakai (And the thing I fell in love with was a plaster cast)
“Empress Mary Marionette of False Hope & Lies,
for advice about failed love and devastated lives”

Zinnia was standing on the center of the stage, while the lights were still 'doing their thing'. The next two lines were softly sung along by Maria, however, that were pre-recorded backing vocals. While Zinnia performed the two lines, Maria's face was showed on the huge background screens, which was received with great enthousiasm by the fans, as Maria was a huge fan favourite, the enthousiasm would definitely become even bigger when Maria entered the stage.

Elou rogmes; yeah, elou rogmes elattou (‘Cause there were flaws; yeah, there were way too much flaws)
Pates parapou kai chimeia kolliseou (The passion faltered and the chemistry went stuck)
Dasphalifantai, ela cheros bous einei (Not insured at all, is the worst you can be)
Ai elas diavas Or. kai Prou. otai erothenou? (But do you reads Terms & Conditions when you’re falling love?)
Pethanes lei (You’d rather die)

The fans went absolutely crazy when on the edge of the stage, more lights turned on bit by bit, even though the crowd couldn't even see the person that was put into the light by them. But their presumings were verified: it actually was the beautiful Maria Stephanidoi, who was wearing this dress. Maria smiled as the cameras zoomed in on her face instead of Zinnia's. Maria started singing, however, a bit shaky vocally, but everyone knew she would be as she always was.

Grosimesi ou diavasai… (A footnote I didn't read...)

The cameras filmed Zinnia's face while she said 'yeah', and then changed back to a position from which the viewers had a full view on what was happening on the stage. The music got heavier and the lights started moving while Zinnia and Maria moved towards each other doing exactly the same dance routine. Zinnia and Maria were both known as artists who performed alone on stage: usually without any dancers, entertaining the crowd all by theirselves. However, Maria was singing the refrain on her own, and Zinnia just moved along to the music. The crowd went wild.

Ele grosimesi ou diavasai (One single footnote I didn’t read)
Egou dolofo ou bosai nikisei (Became an assassin that I couldn’t defeat)
Pnimenou semo mou san fucking gamou (Strangling my body like a fucking noose)
Siramitas gyro mou kai ou boso chalou (Iron wires around me and I can’t break loose)
Parteis mou kokos, karma partou kolos (You got me bad, karma got me good)
Karma partou kolos (Karma got me good)
Koneis flevai mou ephes, kai gefsei aimai kaspimou (You sliced my veins one by one, I tasted my own blood)

All lights turned out, except a big pink spotlight on Maria: she was going to sing the next two lines alone once again. The cameras zoomed in on her voice, and she sang ina a cute yet a bit pedantic way while the microphone added some effects to her voice. She was, again, a bit shaky vocally, but nobody cared as she was a great performer.

Poi, eiseis eh-erothetenou? (Oh, ducky, are you falling in l-love?)
Kani vivei parteis annios psigrama protou (Make sure you got to read the small print first)

The music continued as the cameras changed to Zinnia's face again. She was dancing a bit, and on the camera it looked pretty cool, however, for the crowd, the stage act must have looked like a bit of a mess. Zinnia moved her hips to the beat of the music, some would have called it slutty, however, it totally wasn't when Zinnia did it; it suited her quite well. Pink lights were all over the place again as she started singing.

Petaladous, mesa somati kai kardia mou, thenou ginous asklireneou, travinou me webi akomos itha na einei se (The butterflies, inside of my stomach and heart, making considering hard, pulled me into a web I never even wanted to be in)
Panta epousi ito efkoli lei, panta trechnou arga ota dinouio kynei (They always said I was an easy prey, always running slowly when I’m given chase)
Kartpostala syllego meso eton ne tairiazou peta ligou nou mas kai fthoras (Picture postcards I collected through the years didn’t match our little life of wear and tear)
Parteis daspha, eiseis? (You got insurance, baby?)

The cameras once again changed to Maria's face, and again some kind of wave of enthousiasm and excitement went through the crowd. Maria sang the one line that led everyone to the refrain, this time she was vocally perfect, and the crowd actually sang along, while waving their flags. Zinnia was totally out of the picture for a second.

Grosimesi ou diavasai(A footnote I didn’t read…)

The cameras changed to a full view of the stage again. A lot of dancers had, surprisingly, entered the stage. Zinnia and Maria both danced forward, in the direction of the camera, and all the dancers did exactly the same dance routine in the same direction. Maria was the only of the two who actually sang, but Zinnia just danced along as well and she was looking in the direction of the cameras all the time.

The dancers disappeared again, it seemed that the Chenkoryan delegation had only hired them to dance during that refrain. Maria sang two more lines on her own again, in exactly the same way as she did the previous time. Both Zinnia and Maria were obviously enjoying theirselves on the stage, and they were definitely confident about their song and their results, one could just see that from everything they did.

Poi, eiseis eh-erothetenou? (Oh, ducky, are you falling in l-love?)
Kani vivei parteis annios psigrama protou (Make sure you got to read the small print first)

A smoke machine was definitely turned on or something, as the whole stage was covered in pink smoke (yes, this act was indeed very pink) when the cameras zoomed out. Zinnia was as well standing next to Maria now. The cameras zoomed in on Maria's face, so everybody supposed that she was singing alone again, however, Maria's and Zinnia's voices were very similar, so maybe they were actually singing together. The flashing and moving lights continued, they were not only pink but also silver now.

Aorou gnorti ei charaches (Invisible traits are bad traits)
Stendhal pouou mou tyflou kai kes (Stendhal Syndrome made me blind and deaf)

Suddenly it turned out the dancers weren't gone after all: Maria and Zinnia were standing in the middle of the stage, but behind them, the silhouettes of several people were seen: those people were the dancers. However, it seemed that the dancers also had vocal abilities: they sang along softly while Maria sang two more lines.

Chero, ou prepei pou (I know what not to do)
Oti eie prokenou pisosa (That’s ever going back to you)

After that two lines, the last refrain kicked in. During the word 'pisosa' the dancers / backing vocals left their previous positions and started dancing around the stage: jumping, running et cetera. It looked really cool. Maria and Zinnia were still standing in the middle of the stage, doing the same thing as before: dancing in their own static ways. They sang the last refrain together, however you could barely hear Zinnia's voice.

The whole stage went dark, the dancers stopped moving, only around six pink spotlights were left, and they were all shining on Maria and Zinnia. The cameras zoomed in on Maria's face, she sang the last few lines of the song alone, a bit shaking vocally once again.

Ele grosimesi ou diavasai (One single footnote I didn't read)
Parteis mou kokos, karma partou kolos (You got me bad, karma got me good)
Karma partou kolos (Karma got me good)

Maria and Zinnia both shouted "YEAAAAAH!" as the music was over. Zinnia shouted "VOTE THALICE! MELODY NUMBER 35", and the crowd went crazy as they left the stage.

Hello, Bloodbath! I'm Kelly Evans and here with me is Cameron Van Mond.

CVM: Hey there :) the first act tonight is Communist Quinntopia. They always do fairly well, for good reason. Let's listen.

Communist Quinntopia performs

KE: Not bad, but after the so-so opener, it was a nice one. Next is Luzicya, Good Lord...

Luziyca performs

CVM: what
KE: what
CVM: Well Polkopia is next..yeah...

Polkopia performs

KE: Not half bad! The song is a bit too jazzy for me, but I can let this slide.
CVM: Next is the host country, Kishrael!

Kishrael performs

CVM: Stunning! Definitely a strong contender for the top, although she sounded a bit better in her native language than English.
KE: Well, it's not their first language. Give her a break! It was a good 9/10 from me. Next are our friends Jarfriour!

Jarfriour performs

CVM: Evan is one of my personal favorite artists, and this performance was great! A bit better than ours, to be honest.
KE: The team wanted to make an impact and sure to hell they did! Not a winner just yet, but there is potential.
CVM: Let's see Alexandr Land!

Alexandr Land performs

KE: Lackluster.
CVM: And no, I do nOT remember the days.
KE: Next is De La Fleur!

De La Fleur performs

CVM: ....nice tune.
KE: [seductively licking random man] oh wow didn't see you there hey hi hello um swag New Lowerlands!

New Lowerlands performs

CVM: Cheap pop. And the languages don't go together too well.
KE: Beg to differ! It was a bit cheap, but it could get some points. Probably not from us, but...
CVM: Anyways, our own Maristella is next! Good luck!

Bloodbath Generation performs

KE: I expected a bit more, but a solid 8.5/10 from me.
CVM: Agreed. It had so much potential, but the lyrics were a bit too much for a foreign audience, and it was a bit of a try-hard entry. I mean try-hard as in trying to be all symbolic and empowering when it only did half of what it was supposed to be.
KE: Tonight on 31 Noches, we will discuss the results after the show. But first, here's act 10, Lymantatia!

Lymantatia performs

CVM: Do they even try and improve or-
KE: No. And from what I see, its gonna get worse. Commerical break!

Nikolai: Welcome back, and thank you for sticking around this long... I would assume we've lost some viewers already, thanks to some of the performances seen tonight, but no matter! The show isn't over yet! Not until the winner has been announced, and one lucky country will have the honor of winning the 26th Worldvision Song Contest! Up next, we have the nation of Nekoni, who is represented by Violet Dancefloor and Doubleshot...? We'll see how this goes.

25. Nekoni

Nikolai: Although I'm not much of a fan of the song itself, this song stood out above the rest for a few reasons. One, the energy seen here is more than we've ever seen tonight. I appreciate that, because so far, this edition has been a bit boring, if I do say so myself. None of the 'big' nations really brought it tonight, and this one almost made up for it. Two, they bribed the crowd by giving them free hats! I mean, if that doesn't illustrate effort, I don't know what does!

If you want to vote for this entry, please add 25 after the number provided. Up next, we have Serzchepha, with 'Lie'.

26. Serzchepha

Nikolai: Nothing special to me. A bit generic, if you ask me, but a safe entry nevertheless. It seems like we've seen a bunch of these safe entries tonight, and this is no exception. I can't really have an opinion on this, I don't think, because simply put, I don't give a damn about this, or how it does. It's not bad. It's not good. It's just meh.

If you want to vote for the entry by Serzchepha, please add 26 after the number provided.

27. Zavlia

Nikolai: See, I usually love the entries sent by Zavlia, but this... this isn't all that good. A bit outdated if you ask me, but it's still... somewhat catchy? I don't know how else to describe it... it's not good, the performance didn't help it any, and there are better entries out there. You're out here doing your thing, and you're competing with emotional ballads and vampires. A little more thought in the entry would be nice. While the song wasn't great, the performance didn't have to be a disappointment.

To vote for the Zavlian entry, please add 27 after the number provided on your screen.

28. Calimera

Nikolai: A little boring, but a nice, solid entry nevertheless. The lyrics, I think, were probably the best part of this entry. Pretty deep and meaningful, while maintaining a bit of a saddened tune, very nice. The performance didn't really go with the song, but it was still pretty good. The whole leaf thing was a nice touch. Anyway, nice entry by Calimera this edition. Congrats!

To vote for Calimera's entry, please add 28 after the number provided.

29. Ranbo

30. Fruition

Commentators:
Kellen Walsh (TV presenter)
Annika X (Pop star; TV presenter; New Warwick's representative at WorldVision 24)

[VALCLUSE performs]

KELLEN: That was enjoyable.
ANNIKA: I agree. It's a catchy song with an LGBT twist that doesn't come off as preachy, or overdone, or stereotypical. There need to be more songs like that.
KELLEN: Definitely. Alright, everyone. Guess who's next!
ANNIKA: As you all know, we did things a little differently this year. Our artist was selected internally, for one, and he came completely out of nowhere.
KELLEN: His sound is very different than anything we've ever sent, as well. Trying something new, I guess. Couldn't hurt.
ANNIKA: Unless we get nul points.
KELLEN: Yeah well that could never happen because it won't.
ANNIKA: I hope you're right. Well. Here we go.

[NEW WARWICK performs]

ANNIKA: Definitely something new for the contest. I like it. I think it'll do well
KELLEN: I don't know. It might be too different.
ANNIKA: I guess we'll see during voting.
KELLEN: Remember you can't vote for your own country, just like every year. And just like every year, I'm sure some of you bozos will try to do it anyway. You will be charged, so whatever, not our problem.
ANNIKA: ...bozos?
KELLEN: I'm not drunk enough to use stronger language yet.
ANNIKA: Let's fix that.
KELLEN: Alright. And while I get my drink on, enjoy the next entry from Syrche!

[SYRCHE performs]

ANNIKA: That was probably my favorite tune of the night, but...is this about being sexually attracted to a minor?
KELLEN: No, it couldn't possibly...wait.
ANNIKA: I think so.
KELLEN: I believe that age is just a number...I feel a minor attraction lately...oh god.
ANNIKA: Right?
KELLEN: I was singing along and everything!
ANNIKA: It's really catchy and might get a few votes...from child molesters. Yeah, you heard me.
KELLEN: Unless it's a joke. It's gotta be a joke.
ANNIKA: What kind of sick person makes a joke about this kind of situation!
KELLEN: I point to what you said not ten seconds ago.
ANNIKA: Let's just drop it. Up next, we have Kingsley Bedford, and the way tonight's going, their song is probably about punching babies.

[KINGSLEY BEDFORD performs]

KELLEN: Kingsley Bedford made a bid to host this edition of WorldVision, and I imagine that song would have gone down better had we actually been in Sirushostan.
ANNIKA: Mm, yeah. I mean, I liked it well enough, but it wasn't anything special, really. Just your standard club song. Which definitely has its place and I'm sure I'll dance to it at some point, but I don't think it's a winner. Should finish pretty well, hopefully. Just above mid-pack.
KELLEN: That's fair. Up next, we have a nation making a return to the contest. If I'm not mistaken, they're the most recent country to win it twice in a row. Welcome back, Rugenia!

[RUGENIA performs]

ANNIKA: Well. I don't think it's a winner. I mean, musically, yes absolutely. I just wish the whole thing was in Rugenian, so I could forget how cheesy the English is.
KELLEN: Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think they provided a translation.
ANNIKA: I meant the rapping.
KELLEN: Oh. Well I don't know, I think a lot of people might really like it.
ANNIKA: Oh for sure, and don't get me wrong, I'm one of them. I just don't think enough people will like it so that it would win.
KELLEN: It could.
ANNIKA: You're right. This is WorldVision. You never know.
KELLEN: So let's move on to our next entry! It's coming from Kalosia!
ANNIKA: No it isn't.
KELLEN: Look right here. Kalosia.
ANNIKA: That's a u.
KELLEN: They misspelled Kalosia?
ANNIKA: No, Kalusia. It's a different country.
KELLEN: Oh.
ANNIKA: And you're the one that watched the dress rehearsal?
KELLEN: My mistake. I'd never heard of Kalusia before.

[KALUSIA performs]

KELLEN: It took a while to get going, but I like where it went once it started.
ANNIKA: It was a little repetitive for my taste, but definitely enjoyable.
KELLEN: Not much there lyrically, but I think the simplicity of it worked quite well.
ANNIKA: This could be a dark horse, I think.
KELLEN: To vote for Kalusia, send an SMS with '23' to 045001, or call 0450-025-01-01-23.
ANNIKA: Our next entry comes from Vampirum, who have always done well. At least, in the two times that they've entered.

[VAMPIRUM performs]

ANNIKA: Man. I want to like this. It's stronger lyrically than a lot of things we've seen, but it's also fallen victim to the epidemic of cheesy over-emotional dramatizations this contest seems to be drowning in this year.
KELLEN: How long have you had that phrase ready to go?
ANNIKA: I've been perfecting it for the past two or three songs.
KELLEN: Nice. For me, it was the music that did it in. Not my style.
ANNIKA: I'm sure it'll do well, because as I said it's a strong entry, just not as strong as I'm used to from Vampirum.
KELLEN: Yeah. So now we hear from Nekoni.

[NEKONI perform]

ANNIKA: Wow. I loved that.
KELLEN: Me too, definitely a contender.
ANNIKA: ...you know, we have a lot more to say when we hate a song.
KELLEN: And we're probably funnier.
ANNIKA: We're never funny. We're just drunk.
KELLEN: Probably.
ANNIKA: So to vote for Nekoni, send an SMS with '25' to 045001, or call 0450-025-01-01-25.
KELLEN: You can also vote with the WorldVision app.
ANNIKA: Up next we have Serzchepha.
KELLEN: You said it right this time!
ANNIKA: I practiced.

[SERZCHEPHA performs]

ANNIKA: And it's a good thing I practiced saying Serzchepha, because - (chanting) SERZCHEPHA! SERZCHEPHA! SERZCHEPHA!
KELLEN: Very very strong entry. I can definitely see this winning.
ANNIKA: I could see this as a #1 hit in New Warwick, too.
KELLEN: Easily.
ANNIKA: Yep. So. Let's just bask in the glory of that song for a minute, because who knows what kind of nonsense is coming next.
KELLEN: Actually, it's Zavlia, and they always send something decent.
ANNIKA: Oh yeah, didn't we give them twelve points last year?
KELLEN: Yeah, I think so.
ANNIKA: Well then let's hear it!

[ZAVLIA performs]

ANNIKA: I like the 80's vibe, plus the singers were hot.
KELLEN: Definitely not standard WorldVision fare. I liked the lyrics, too.
ANNIKA: I just worry that it wasn't quite as strong as last year's entry.
KELLEN: Yeah, I don't know. I doubt they'll be getting the 12 from us this year.
ANNIKA: If you'd like to see them get the 12 again, send an SMS with '27' to 045001.
KELLEN: Or call 0450-025-01-01-27.
ANNIKA: Or use the handy WorldVision app!
KELLEN: Next we'll hear from Calimera! Will they finally win this year?

[CALIMERA performs]

ANNIKA: I just don't think this is it.
KELLEN: More people seem to like ballads than dislike them. You never know.
ANNIKA: I guess. I just...yeah, you know, I hate ballads.
KELLEN: You'll get no argument from me.
ANNIKA: I thought the lyrics were good on this one, though.
KELLEN: Yeah, definitely genuine and heartfelt.
ANNIKA: I hope this does well. You know, for a ballad.
KELLEN: Definitely.
ANNIKA: Next we'll hear from Ranbo.

[RANBO performs]

ANNIKA: ...I think we're a bit further than 39 billion meters from the stars...
KELLEN: Yeah. And musically, it was a little boring.
ANNIKA: This Marlon guy reminds me of that dude who sits in the common room of the dorm, playing slow acoustic covers of pop or rap songs to try and seem sensitive, but is actually kind of a douche.
KELLEN: Woah.
ANNIKA: Not that Marlon is necessarily a douche. I mean, that's just what this kind of song makes me think of.
KELLEN: Based on personal experience?
ANNIKA: Probably. I don't really remember college. I was drunk pretty much the whole time.
KELLEN: Who isn't?
ANNIKA: True. Okay. So. I'm done talking about that song. Who's next?
KELLEN: Fruition.

[FRUITION performs]

ANNIKA: I think I'm just going to pretend that's in a foreign language, because musically it was awesome.
KELLEN: Yeah, I just don't think this is New Warwick's sense of humor.
ANNIKA: No, but I could see it doing well. We have a pretty weird sense of humor here.
KELLEN: Don't I know it.
ANNIKA: Let's go to our next entry. Zwangzug, I'm lookin' at you!

[ZWANGZUG performs]

KELLEN: If you're going to do a ballad, this is how you do it.
ANNIKA: Her voice was a bit too artificially twangy for me, but yeah, I liked it. Not my favorite, but definitely good.
KELLEN: And the lyrics. Brilliant as usual. Zwangzug apparently trains lyricists from birth. I have no other way of explaining how they always seem to have such good lyrics.
ANNIKA: I agree. Poetic but not trite, ornate but not showy, emotional but not schmaltzy.
KELLEN: I really hope this does well tonight.
ANNIKA: Me too.
KELLEN: If you want to help Zwangzug, you'll send an SMS with '30' to 045001 after the show, or call 0450-025-01-01-30.
ANNIKA: I can't believe we're at 30 entries already.
KELLEN: I know.
ANNIKA: And we've still yet to see either of our neighbors, Hafamarimët and Queensfield.
KELLEN: I'm sure they're coming up soon...

Commentary for: BLOODBATH GENERATION and THE ROYAL KINGDOM OF QUEBEC
--
[BLOODBATH GENERATION performs]

ANNIKA: They tried.
KELLEN: They really did.
ANNIKA: The song was just so boring, though. Not really that catchy.
KELLEN: I liked the lyrics, though.
ANNIKA: I don't know, they were a bit cheesy for my taste. "Hell is for them, but heaven is all ours." I don't know, it seems like they're really forcing the optimism there. Kind of over-the-top.
KELLEN: At least it was a positive message for people who really need it.
ANNIKA: If they're really that much in need of help, they probably shouldn't rely on a song contest to give it to them.
KELLEN: Alright, negative Nancy, we'll see how the people feel during voting, won't we. Up next...jesus no.
ANNIKA: For everyone at home playing the drinking game, get ready to die. Here comes Lymantatia.

---

[QUEBEC performs]

ANNIKA: Why do they send lullabies every year?
KELLEN: I think they had that overdramatic hard rock-wannabe ballad the one year.
ANNIKA: They do seem to like cheesy love songs in Quebec, don't they.
KELLEN: And you know it'll do very well.
ANNIKA: Quebec always does, even when they don't deserve it as much.
KELLEN: Don't be too rude about it.
ANNIKA: Anyway. Apparently this guy caused a huge scandal in the 90s because, GASP, DRUGS OH NO.
KELLEN: What? Musicians doing drugs? That never happens!
ANNIKA: Remind me never to go on vacation to Quebec. Any country that strict about drugs can't be any fun.
KELLEN: They'd arrest you at the border. Speaking of fun, hopefully our next entry is some. Russadonia!

36. Hafamarimët
SONG: Ćynći Drvenäpuja
TRANSLATION: Stars Above the Fire
ARTISTS: Helumyć Knyvćjem and Pnetkada Kaunka
TUNE: Empty Bottles Broken Hearts - Big Girl (In All the Right Places)

Helumyć
Pnetkada

Helumyć (wearing the outfit in the picture) and Pnetkada (wearing this, without the bag) stand on opposite sides of a pyro, center. He plays the electric guitar, and she plays an acoustic. There are dancers in the background having a good time - nothing really choreographed. During the first verse, he walks towards her.

Lying in a field on a Friday night
Waiting for the moon to come and shine its light
Fa yna syti kumtuv ët rubauv, muja
Oh, rumt sa fa lüjdidem ajano ćyn

He stands in place and sings to her. She is not impressed.

Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja
Come on, my darling, come wish with me
oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja

She goes to him, seeming to give in a little, but at the end of the verse she turns and walks away from him.

Oh, maybe I've had a little too much gin
My blurry eyes tomorrow won't apologize
I know I shouldn't do it so I don't know why
I'm gonna sit with you in a damp cold swamp

He follows her, but she won't look at him. The background dancers begin to spread around the stage, revealing that they have, in fact, been choreographed. They begin dancing in a tribal-esque square dance.

Taho drćynći, oh drvenäpuja
I ain't your darling, come wish anyway
oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja

The dancers surround her as he steps forward to play the guitar solo. She is caught up in them and whirls around. As this verse ends, she finds herself looking at him.

I'm sorry, little darling, but I won't give up
I know I gotta have you cos it makes me sick
I can treat you right and keep you warm
I'm hooked on you, get hooked on me

She turns away from him again as the chorus begins. On "when the morning comes," she goes to him and gives him a look.

Taho drćynći, oh drvenäpuja
I ain't your darling, come wish anyway
Oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'm nowhere to be found

Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja

He kneels in front of her, she rolls her eyes and turns away. They keep this pose for a moment, then bow and shout, "Drëgći Kishrael!"

TRANSLATION

Lying in a field on a Friday night
Waiting for the moon to come and shine its light
We are made of gold and of hope, my love
Hold me til we count every star

Watch the stars above the fire

Come on, my darling, come wish with me
Oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Watch the stars above the fire

Oh, maybe I've had a little too much gin
My blurry eyes tomorrow won't apologize
I know I shouldn't do it so I don't know why
I'm gonna sit with you in a damp cold swamp

I deny the stars above the fire
I ain't your darling, come wish anyway
Oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Watch the stars above the fire

I'm sorry, little darling, but I won't give up
I know I gotta have you cos it makes me sick

KINGFORDIAN COMMENTARY
WITH
SERGEI ARAMOV
NATALIA MOLOROVSKAYA

Natalia: Welcome back to WorldVision... we just saw Rugenia perform and now give it up for Kalosia!
Sergei: Umm... you mean Kalusia
Natalia: What?
Sergei: It's Kalusia, with a u
Natalia: No it's not it's with an o, they've been in it before I know what I'm talking about
Sergei: No, they're a new country... the name is similar, they're debuting this year... they're called Kalusia... very similar but they're different nations
Natalia: Oh... I see... give it up for KALUSIA!!!

KALUSIA:\
Sergei: Interesting and very Unique... very much like "Kedvesem"... a song that's quite popular in KB at the moment. Will the people who like that song vote for this song too?
Natalia: They might, 80% of Kingfordians watched the contest last year so it is possible that there might be some fans of this song in the audience
Sergei: An interesting first effort but not a winner.
Natalia: To vote for Kalusia... add 23

VAMPIRIUM:
Sergei: Wow! Amazing performance from Vampirium's Lillian Serrano, they're in it to win it this year and I'm going to say it... this is a serious contender.
Natalia: Yep I'd say this will do very well it might be a winner, and if it dosn't win.... it'll do very well, definite top 5 entry here.
Sergei: I loved it, the mix of metal with pop music is something that we havn't seen that much in WV, but it has worked well for KB in the past, we got 3rd in WV10 with a song in the same genre.... so if that's any indication of how it might be recieved we can expect great things for this song. Best of luck to them. One of the best performances tonight
Natalia: I can see this charting in KB, we like this sort of thing. And those pyros looked great onstage
Sergei: To vote for Vampirium add 24

NEKONI:
Natalia: Nekoni are competing for the first time, they tried to participate last year, but couldn't find an entry in time and had to miss out
Sergei: Well that was an interesting entry, I liked it , very modern, upbeat and looked alright onstage
Natalia: Violet background for Violet Dancefloor... how fitting. But did one of them push the other out of the way?
Sergei: I believe so
Natalia: Someone's desperate for attention
Sergei: City background.... did they sit in on Anna's rehearsals?
Natalia: Sergei stop it.
Sergei: No Natalia.. it's very similar to ours, but at least we don't fight onstage, what type of example does that set for young viewers
Natalia: I didn't know you were the "moral police" Sergei
Sergei: The danceoff was really cool though, first ever danceoff in the history of WorldVision
Natalia: But they love us all, they said.
Sergei: We love you all, but we hate each other... because we fight onstage... nice message
Natalia: The song was nice
Sergei: Yes.. yes the song.... right,
Natalia: to vote for Nekoni add 25

SERZCEPHA
Sergei: Nice song from Serzcepha, the achieved their best ever placing last year in Peeto, Can they better that tonight? We'll have to wait and see
Natalia: I must say, it is a nice song, and isn't it nice that one of Anna's dancers leant him his jacket... we Kingfordians are so nice aren't we?
Sergei: I think it's just the trend at the moment, and it looks nice on them
Natalia: The V shaped choreography... reminds me of YMCA
Sergei: *laughs*
Natalia: Good luck to them....
Sergei: To vote for Serzcepha add 26

ZAVILA:
Natalia: Zac and Marcin from Zavila... well it's different from what they usually send isn't it
Sergei: Wasn't my favourite song from their national final but it's not a bad song, but it dosn't really appeal to me
Natalia: They're asking where is my love... he's right next to you.... he's holding your hand.. those stage lights must be blinding or something
Sergei: to vote for Zavila add 27

CALIMERA:
Natalia: Calimera's entry "An Angel walked into my life"... nice ballad song isn't it
Sergei: Her fans gave her that dress apparently... they have good taste those Calimeran fans
Natalia: Oh so now you're the "Fashion police"
Sergei: Shut up
Natalia: Very emotional performance and strong interpretation of the lyrics... it is a pleasant performance
Sergei: To vote for Calimera add 28

RANBO:
Natalia: travelling through the stars to find you.... blah blah blah, seen it all before... it dosn't appeal to me, however the singer does.... is he single?
Sergei: They're using the orchestra, fantastic... I'm not a huge fan of orchestra's in the contest, but it works for this song and is an important part of the performance so it blends in nicely
Natalia: To vote for Ranbo add 29

Fruition:
Sergei: I like this, "Mother, Father, Allenman" a fun and different performance here
Natalia: It's catchy for sure and that dance is so cool
Sergei: Very intimate but not inappropriate either, it's quite a good song
Natalia: To vote for Fruition add 30

ZWANGZUG:
Natalia: Nice, Zwangzug are one of the veterans in this contest and one of the few still left in the competition, it's nice to see they've still got it and are participating,
Sergei: I like the song, it's catchy....
Natalia: Zwangzug often are known for the less serious entries... it's nice to see them being serious with their songs. And this is a really good song.
Sergei: To vote for Zwangzug add 31

Natalia: Now we're taking a quick break and will be back soon with more

Response To NWTV1

Postby Syrche » Fri Jun 07, 2013 7:53 am

The commercials suddenly cut out, and the familiar image of the Worldvision 26 stage was shown again. Theresse Vedtford stood before it, with an older, wise looking Gentleman.

Theresse Vedtford: The Dalia Rekorder would like to issue a public response to statements made recently by foreign television commentators regarding the nature of the Syrchesi entry.

The man stood before the camera, cool, calm. He began to speak.

Image

Jens Andersson: Hello World, I'm Jens Andersson of the Dalia Rekorder, On behalf of the people of Syrche, let me first say that NO! we are NOT child molesters! It's quite insulting to have such a comparison raised toward us, as it was, unexpectedly, by Kellen Walsh and Annika X during the NWTV1 coverage and commentary from Worldvision 26 just moments ago. That said, it is easy to see how this mistake could be made, especially in places, where "Minor" is often used to describe an individual younger than the age of majority. Rest assured, however, that Syrche is part of "The Civilized World," and as with other nations in the civilized world, relationships such as those suggested by the New Warwickian commentators are highly illegal, and incur hefty punishment.

The increasingly popular Modernist movement in Syrche has spurred a plethora of songs like MINOR ATTRACTION by K-CITY-X which emphasize acceptance of the changing definition of relationship roles in our society. A Minor Attraction a slang term which has popped up in recent years, refers to the older of two in a relationship with a significant age difference, though is not used to describe pedophilia, as that is simply referred to by name. In this way, it is actually quite similar to what is termed " Cougar-And-Cub" in some nations, though the Male variety exists as well, and both forms are coined under the term "Minor Attraction" when speaking from the perspective of the senior individual. The opposite form is called Gradient, though it is rarely used.

Relationships like these are becoming increasingly acceptable, and much less scandalous.

On behalf of Syrche, and the Dalia Rekorder, i would like to ask that NWTV1 rescind the statements made by Kellen Walsh and Annika X, which unjustly degrade our fair country and her people. Thank You.

*The man walked out of frame, and Theresse began to speak again.

Theresse Vedtford: Once more we are reminded that despite how much we may criticize certain cultures of the world, the fact remains that we are just as different in our own culture and society. We can only hope that this misunderstanding has not jeopardized the chances of K-City-X to show well in the final. We'll return momentarily...

*Commercials*

Commentators:
Kellen Walsh (TV presenter)
Annika X (Pop star; TV presenter; New Warwick's representative at WorldVision 24)

[ANOLLASIA performs]

ANNIKA: So where does this guy get his weed? I'm going to have to start hanging around the Anollasian quarter in Kelsey.
KELLEN: Must be pretty potent if he looks at a rainbow and sees a thousand colors.
ANNIKA: That's what I'm saying!
KELLEN: That guitar solo rocked pretty hard, though I'm not sure how it fit into the whole psychedelic vibe.
ANNIKA: Yeah, that solo is more fitted to a certain kind of retro-pop-punk or something, but I kind of liked it.
KELLEN: Can we address the reference to homicide really quick?
ANNIKA: Yeah, I didn't quite get that. Was his love interest killed by her father?
KELLEN: That's what it seems like, which would make the reference to angels make more sense.
ANNIKA: That's true, but that would make this yet another song to fall victim to ridiculously heightened dramatics. They're trying, they really are, they always do. Anollasia truly wants to win this competition and I think they're getting closer.
KELLEN: Yeah, but I still don't quite think this is it. Maybe next year.
ANNIKA: I'd like to see them win someday. They do care so much.
KELLEN: Yeah. Alright, our next entry comes from Venasta!

[VENASTA performs]

KELLEN: I love the way the song starts off as a ballad, and then is like nope, get up and dance!
ANNIKA: Yeah, and the ballad part is actually pretty decent. It calls up memories of classy old songs from the 50's or something.
KELLEN: Plus her voice is perfectly suited for it.
ANNIKA: The lyrics are pretty good, too.
KELLEN: Not perfect, but yeah, in tonight's field they're pretty strong.
ANNIKA: Could Venasta win it tonight?
KELLEN: I think so. How about you?
ANNIKA: I agree. To vote for Venasta, send an SMS with '33' to 045001, or call 0450-025-01-01-33.
KELLEN: You can also use the WorldVision app. Of course, you can't vote until all the entries have performed. I feel like we probably haven't said that enough.
ANNIKA: Yeah, but people are smart. How many of them could have voted already?
(pause, then they both burst out laughing)
KELLEN: 'People are smart,' that's a good one.
ANNIKA: I know, especially coming from me!
KELLEN: Well, time waits for no man, and neither does WorldVision, so let's hear the entry from Middlele. Am I saying that right?
ANNIKA: I have no idea.

[MIDDLELE performs]

ANNIKA: Great song, but we've got another case of Google Translate, I think.
KELLEN: Yeah, those sections in Icelandic were clunky and didn't really fit the rhythm.
ANNIKA: Unfortunately I think that'll take away from the chances this song had, because musically, that was amazing.
KELLEN: Yeah. The composers of the song deserved better lyricists.
ANNIKA: Yes. Okay, moving on, up next we'll hear from Thalice, a debuting nation.

[THALICE performs]

ANNIKA: Well I'm stunned.
KELLEN: If this doesn't win, I quit WorldVision.
ANNIKA: Seriously, this was beyond impressive in every way.
KELLEN: By far the most put-together entry we've seen tonight. The staging was perfect, they didn't miss a note.
ANNIKA: The one who sang the chorus was a little flat when she first started singing, but that was only one note and she nailed the rest of it.
KELLEN: True. Okay, I don't feel like telling you all how to vote. You know how to vote by now, and you also should know that you can't do it until everyone has performed anyway.
ANNIKA: So I guess we have to go on.
KELLEN: Don't worry, up next is Hafamarimët!
ANNIKA: Oh, good, it won't be complete trash!

[HAFAMARIMËT performs]

ANNIKA: Oh boy. I was wrong.
KELLEN: You didn't like it?
ANNIKA: Well, I liked the rockabilly aspect of the song itself, but. And I know a large part of Hafamarimët is rural, it just kind of seemed disingenuous.
KELLEN: Yeah. Something about the Hafamari language doesn't mix well with the twang they sung in in English.
ANNIKA: Alright...well...let's address this situation.
KELLEN: We would like to issue a formal apology for our commentary on the Sÿrchesi entry.
ANNIKA: The song is not about child molestation at all, but what we call a May-December relationship.
KELLEN: Or sometimes cougars.
ANNIKA: I misunderstood, due to the connotations that the word 'minor' has in our country.
KELLEN: We were wrong to suspect any nation, much less one as advanced as Syrche, would send a song about child molestation.
ANNIKA: Although we might have given Luziyca an idea for their next entry.
KELLEN: And I will never again listen to what Annika thinks about anything.
ANNIKA: You never should have to begin with.
KELLEN: We are sorry.
ANNIKA: Very, very sorry.
KELLEN: I know you can't see me, but I am frowning and giving you puppy dog eyes.
ANNIKA: I hope this clears all this up.
KELLEN: Once again: Syrche did not sing about anything illegal. Or even inappropriate. Age is just a number, and if you're happy with someone older or younger than you, then that's your business.
ANNIKA: Thank you and once again, sorry.

KALOSIA

Numb - Hyun
Tune: Run Devil Run - SNSD

Hyun, real name Koruna Makota, is a Kalosian singer. At the age of 15 (she is now 17), she released her first single, Revoluzio, and it became a success, peaking at #2 on the national charts. Her musical style is pop, with heavy Bloodbathian influences. Her stage name is Korean for "wisdom". In an interview, she said "I chose that name when I was little, because back then I really wanted to be a superstar. I would perform at school events under that name." Hyun was chosen by the RTVK to represent Kalosia at the 26th WorldVision Song Contest in Shatilaurchev, Kishrael, with the song Numb. The decision was announced on the 25 May, 2013, in a special show.
Hyun, wearing this dress with stylish black leather boots, was backstage, and had 3 backing singers with her, wearing something similar, but in white. The three were already on stage, and as the song started, Hyun came forward and appeared in time for her to sing. The background was somewhat like this. Backing singers sing the lyrics in brackets; Hyun sings the rest.

When you showed up, better than ever
Into my life, I wished you stay
You weren't aware I made the effort
I'm unavoidable to you

Hyun does some robotic moves during this next part, and freezes with the song.
You tried to run away and you hid
But you were no match for me

Returning to normal position, she continues singing, occasionally doing some gestures.
I tried to stand out in a big crowd
Your view was too small to see me
I called your name, I said it out loud
You didn't notice when I did

The camera closed up on Hyun's face, while she smiles ambiguously and sings with a seductive (some would consider it sarcastic) tone.
But I'd do just anything to be able to spend a night out with you
If you would make me feel like I am worth

Camera suddenly zooms out, she dances again (while singing the chorus). The background slowly turns purple, eventually ending up like this by the end of the chorus.
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste, it's as if I'm insane)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss
And turn this hour into bliss
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(You've made me this way so be mine now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)

They gave a dare and I accepted
It was my pièce de résistance
T'was quite strange, and very awkward
But in the end, I don't regret

Hyun gives a broad, happy smile.
Now that you are mine, now that I'm yours
My efforts finally paid off

I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste or even say your name)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss
And turn this hour into bliss
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)

Hyun then proceeds to do a dance number (imagine this but only the lead is dancing).
(this is supposed to be a singing part on the original song, but there isn't any in this song)

I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste or even say your name)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss
And turn this hour into bliss
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb (I feel so numb, numb, numb)
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)

Hyun bows, and shouts Thank You to the audience.

SRË Worldvision 26 Coverage

Alasha: Hello and welcome to SRË's broadcast of the Worldvision Song Contest 26, live from Shatilaurchev, Kishrael! I’m Alasha Tenfin.
Geo: and I’m Geo Bevrota. Who will triumph this year at the WorldVision Song Contest? Will it be Serzchepha coming off our best finish ever in WorldVision 25? Wait and see.
Alasha: This is the first time that the contest has been done in Kishrael, their debut was only the previous contest. They certainly are becoming a more recognizable figure in WorldVision.
Geo: Certainly they are. The weather in Shastilarachev is beautiful and the nation itself is much more democratic so the contest is already off to a good start. I’m sure it will only be downhill from here.
Alasha: You just don't like the cold or, being happy. period.
Geo: No, I just like the sun and I'm realistic. And I believe that is the sound of the opening act.

Opening Act

Alasha: Very traditional. Very cultural. The past few hosts have been big on showcasing their national cultures.
Geo: Isn't that pretty much the whole point of hosting?
Alasha: I suppose, but perhaps the Kishraeli are very big on their national heritage. Their song at WSC was a mix of pop and traditional music.
Geo: It was nice, acknowledging the Polkopian entry from last contest was a very nice gesture as was the families from all the different nations participating. I wish the Kishraeli presenters the best.
Alasha: In a change this year, Lymantatia will not be performing first, that's odd.
Geo: For the first performance of the night, Communist Quinntopia.

Communist Quinntopia

Geo: Nice, if not a little too slow. Certainly one of the best entries we've seen from them since Serzchepha first entered the contest.
Alasha: I love it. Very classy compared to some of the other entries at WSC.
Geo: Like that's hard to do.
Alasha: I loved the ballroom dancers in the background. Not a stereotypical entry at all.
Geo: I can see it doing well.
Alasha: To vote for Communist Quinntopia, text 001 to the number on the screen!
Geo: Next up is Luzyica.

Luziyca

Geo: aaaand we're back to classic WorldVision!
Alasha: Well that certainly killed my buzz from the previous entry.
Geo: Apparently the contest is now to see who can make the most revolting entry.
Alasha: It was all so unnecessary.
Geo: Text 002 to vote for Luzyica!
Alasha: Next is last year's winner Polkopia!
Geo: Thank God.

Polkopia

Alasha: I like it, jazzy, original, creative.
Geo: It isn’t last year’s entry. It will do well, but I don’t think it’s a winner.
Alasha: You never know. It might resonate with those watching this.
Geo: What, like all five of them and us?
Alasha: That’s not true, this is very popular in other parts of the world.
Geo: Whatever. Still I think Polkopia can do better than this, but a strong entry nevertheless.
Alasha: To vote for Polkopia text 003.
Geo: Next is our host, Kishrael.

Kishrael
Geo: Very nice, but a little melodramatic.
Alasha: Beautiful! The story going with it is so emotional.
Geo: I could just die….
Alasha: Shut up! Do you have a heart? I think this will be on the night’s shortlist for the winner. It’s absolutely wonderful.
Geo: I think it will do well also. At least top ten performance by Perah. To vote for Kishrael, text 004.
Alasha: Next is Jarfriour, who is making their debut in the contest.

Jarfriour
=To be completed with the entry =

Alasha: To vote for Jarfriour, text 005
Geo: Next up is Alexandr Land.

Alexandr Land
Alasha: Pretty, but a little repetitive and simplistic.
Geo: I though you liked simple? I could barely hear anything.
Alasha: I hope they do well for a new nation.
Geo: The crowd liked it. All the best. I don’t really have anything to say.
Alasha: To vote for Alexandr Land, text 006
Geo: Next nation to perform is De La Fleur

De La Fleur
Geo: A lot of new nations so far. And another sexual entry.
Alasha: It wasn’t bad. The Retro theme was interesting.
Geo: Stupid, sexual, and somniferous.
Alasha: and catchy, I’m sure a lot of people will be singing this in their head tonight.
Geo: To vote for De La Fleur, text 007
Alasha: Next act is The New Lowlands!

The New Lowlands
Alasha: Simple, catchy, ça me plait.
Geo: Boring, but a safe entry.
Alasha: I hope Rose is ok from that fall she took.
Geo: It was more entertaining that her actual performance.
Alasha: I wish them the best. Send 008 to vote for the New Lowlands
Geo: Next we have Bloodbath Generation.

Bloodbath Generation
Geo: Stunning.
Alasha: I'm speechless.
Geo: I wasn’t a fan of the politics, but otherwise an unbelievable entry.
Alasha: We gave them 12 points last contest. They certainly have good entries.
Geo: Well last time it was because it was funny. To vote for Bloodbath Generation text, 009.
Alasha: Next is Lymantatia.

Lymantatia
Geo: Well, this sucks.
Alasha: So nice to see DANAE and Liz Park
Geo: Well who else would we see?
Alasha: To vote for Lymantatia, text 010.
Geo: Next is Grandterre.

Grandterre
Geo: Well, this sucks.
Alasha: Reminds me of a cartoon or something.
Geo: Something you wouldn’t want to watch twice.
Alasha: It could be worse.
Geo: No nudity or sheep, I suppose.
Alasha: To vote for Grandterre, text 011
Geo: Next is Groteberg.

Groteberg
Geo: Better than the previous.
Alasha: I wish we had a translation.
Geo: I liked the guitar as opposed to pop music.
Alasha: To vote for Groteberg, text 012.
Geo: Next we have the infamous Lactatia.

Lactatia
Alasha: Because it isn’t WorldVision without blatant racism or disturbing imagery.
Geo: Can I unsee this?
Alasha: It’s only up from here.
Geo: To vote for Lactatia, text 013.
Alasha: Next up is Fusha Me-Bar.

Fusha Me-Bar
Geo: This cycle of WorldVision apparently gay-themed
Alasha: I think it’s sweet.
Geo: Nice and thought out, Na will do well I think.
Alasha: I liked it a lot; Fusha Me-Bar always sends good entries.
Geo: They’ve done better. To vote for Fusha Me-Bar, text 014.
Alasha: Next, is the Royal Kingdom of Québec.

Royal Kingdom of Québec
Geo: God, that was boring.
Alasha: Quiet, moving, powerful.
Geo: It was so sweet I now had diabetes.
Alasha: I think they’ll do well. Their performances reflect the careful attention to detail that the Quebecois entries are known for.
Geo: To vote for the Royal Kingdom of Québec, text 015.
Alasha: Next is Russadonia.

Russadonia
Geo: Not bad.
Alasha: He’s beautiful. The performance was amazing.
Geo: I liked it. Not spectacular, certainly different.
Alasha: Best of luck to Russadonia. Text 016 to vote for them.
Geo: Next up is Acraddia.

Acraddia
Alasha: Moving.
Geo: I got bored halfway through.
Alasha: I feel like I can hear the loneliness in her voice. It was an incredibly talented performance.
Geo: It was in the top half of the performances. I can see this in the top ten easily.
Alasha: To vote for Acraddia, text 017

Valcluse
Geo: Did we not get the message that this is PrideVision?
Alasha: “Powerful” is a fitting name for it indeed.
Geo: I agree. It’s a lovely entry. The lyrics are full of substance and it was a good performance.
Alasha: All the best to Valcluse. Text 018 to vote for them.
Geo: Next we have New Warwick.

New Warwick
Geo: A bit whiny.
Alasha: Sweet lyrics. It makes me miss the university days.
Geo: Not bad, not great.
Alasha: I think they’ll do ok.
Geo: Text 019 to vote for New Warwick.
Alasha: Next is Syrche.

Syrche
Alasha: A beautiful R&B entry from Syrche.
Geo: This is a good emotional song.
Alasha: See you can like emotional songs.
Geo: When some talented sings them, like here.
Alasha: It’s good to see some variety every so often.
Geo: To vote for Syrche, text 020.
Alasha: With that, we’ll take a short break. Stay tuned for the next part of Worldvision 26!

KINGFORDIAN COMMENTARY:
COMMENTATORS:
SERGEI ARAMOV
NATALIA MOLOROVSKAYA

Natalia: Welcome back to WorldVision Song Contest. Next up is Anollasia!

ANOLLASIA:
Sergei: Last year they sent a song without a melody that didn't do so well, this year they've sent FiKrEt
Natalia: With "A thousand colours of happiness" whatever that means
Sergei: At first this song seems to be a message for peace, which fits with the nation's pacifist values... yet as it continues it appears to be about something else
Natalia: Death references, "pawn of your father's homicide-"
Sergei: What about those angel wings, a little tacky huh?
Natalia: The lyrics mention angels, it fits in
Sergei: Sure
Natalia: What do you think about the entry... I like the lyrics, a thousand colours of happiness sounds nice
Sergei: Remind me to check you into a rehab clinic when we get back to Kingsley Bedford
Natalia: What?
Sergei: You sounded like you were high just then, and I'm pretty sure that's what a thousand colours of happiness means too
Natalia: The song Sergei....
Sergei: Not much to say, I think I preferred their last entry
Natalia: To vote for Anollasia add 32

VENASTA:
Sergei: Maria Workatova there from Venasta with "Worth It"
Natalia: She is one of the top selling artists from Venasta and has sold 3 million albums worldwide
Sergei: What about that backing singer dressed as a wolf?
Natalia: She's in a forest
Sergei: The song starts off slow, but the pace picks up towards the end, it's a beautiful song... simple presentation but made up for with an amazing singer and a great song... it's all you need sometimes and it works.
Natalia: I love this entry, they've nailed it... beautiful, great usage of the stage, amazing presentation, Very well done.
Sergei: To vote for Venasta add 33

MIDDLELE:
Natalia: Nice song, but very similar to our song last year in terms of composition
Sergei: My song you mean
Natalia: Yeah, yeah, your song... we get it you sung for us last year and came 19th... do you want a medal for that
Sergei: You can be so cruel sometimes
Natalia: You're not the only person in this commentary booth that has sung for Kingsley Bedford... I have too
Sergei: I've done it twice
Natalia: Get over yourself diva
*Sergei scoffs*
Sergei: Though the dubstep elements are different, ours didn't have that. But I'm not sure how well that fits, the composition is already very electropoppy but a slower tempo so the dubstep has a lack of transition and seems a little out of place
Natalia: The whole song seems out of place, but it's better than Lymantatia
Sergei: I like the lyrics though, breaks the stereotype that high class people are too good to be with the rest of us... I like that I've always been an advocate for equality
Natalia: I like the usage of Icelandic in the entry, it is a pleasant language to listen to
Sergei: To vote for Middlele add 34

THALICE:
Sergei: A new debutant country, welcome to the contest Thalice
Natalia: Nice song, good lyrics, nice stage show... Vocals were a bit shaky in some parts and that could effect them but the lyrics and performance are strong enough
Sergei: To vote for Thalice add 35

Natalia: Wow we're up to entry 35 and we've still got more to come, this is fast becoming the biggest WorldVision ever.

Hafamarimyht:
Sergei: I can never pronnounce this country correctly
Natalia: Neither can I
Sergei: Interesting song, weird performance , not much to say about it
Natalia: She's not impressed by him, but I'm not exactly impressed by the song
Sergei: To vote for Hafamarimyht add 36

"Hypnöhser" (Hypnosis), by Levi Schäffer
To the melody of Retrograde, by James Blake
Sung in Worsarian

Levi Schäffer: a handsome young singer, who was before Eines Litchen Vûr Wörsz just as unknown as Amély Rührer was before Eines Litchen Vûr Wörsz (this once again proves that Eines Litchen Vûr Wörsz is mostly used as a little stair to get famous, for people who are about to release their début album) and he was only 21 years old. His whole world had been turned upside down after winning ELVW: nobody expected him to win after all. After his win, his music was suddenly everywhere, and somehow his début album had even been leaked. He had written "Hypnöhser" by accident: it was the classic story; it would actually not even be released on his album. However, everybody around him reacted very well on the song, and thus he decided to put it on the album and his manager signed it up for WorldVision. He had never watched WorldVision before, but he liked competitions and he liked music, so WorldVision just had to be nice. He had listened to Amély Rührer's entry "Scegliere" a lot though, and he knew that she became second: to Levi, this meaned that people votes liked the serious entries; one more reason to enter for Levi.

He had been in the center of attention the last few days. Besides the Worsarian press, the Kishraeli press was also extremely interested in him. Why? Because Levi's father was a Jew, and Kishraelis were somehow interested in everything and everyone that was Jewish. Levi had visited various places in the city of Shatilaurchev, and on all occasions, loads of fans had been waiting for him, asking for signatures and lots of other things. After winning ELVW and before coming to Shatilaurchev, he had visited Kishrael a few times as well: loads of tv shows had asked him to perform his song, even though his song wasn't really in Kishrael's favourite genre of music. Although he wasn't really the person who liked showbizz and being the center of attention, he knew that promotion like this was very important, especially in this case, as Kishraelis seemed really sensitive for it. He realised that actually also enjoyed meeting all those people, including interesting musicians, and visiting all those places in Kishrael.

Levi never had nerves, and he wasn't planning to get them this time as well. He waited patiently for the Kalosian act to leave the stage. He didn't talk to anyone, he was a man of few words, even to his friends. His friends, who had laughed at him for doing WorldVision. He didn't miss home either. While his thoughts were wandering, which they often did, he was called on the stage. His earpiece was corrected, since something was wrong with it. Then he walked up the stage, cofindent as always, introvert as always, as mysterious as always and he'd probably be as vocally perfect as always as well.

When the music started, everything was dark on stage, with a spotlight on Levi being the exception of the rule. The humming was pre-recorded, so Levi didn't have to hum live, so he was just looking to the ground, moving a bit to the music; totally introvert. When a beat kicked in, dark blue lights appeared everytime a beat was heard, making the atmosphere even more magical. After removing a lock of his hair from his eyes, Levi, who was wearing a blue pullover (like the one in the picture in the beginning of this post), started singing, with his characteristic voice. He was vocally perfect. Somehow shadows covered his eyes, so you couldn't see his expression, this didn't make his appearance uncomfortable though: it added the mystery the song needed.

Mitt Eürdt bedeckt (Covered with ground)
Nar Wäorn gegrüeb gewe’n (I’ve been digging for truth)
Dûor dir gekrän gewe’n (I’ve been scratching through you)
Dein Häuut ür meine Nä’ln (Your skin under my nails)
Trägnent aousch mein Vüggerspi’n (Wearing out my fingertips)
Äbtüeschnent mein Hinn (Defrosting my heart)

"Hypnöhser" was about 'diving' into the past of a relationship; what exactly went wrong, kind of going back to basics, forgetting about the incidents that have blurred the image of the real problem. Levi was just being introvert again, now and then people could see a glance of his beautiful eyes. His voice was full of emotion, but at the same time, there somehow was a cold feel to it.

Süezur (Dissect)
Aller Schüchtüer gang ich dûor (All layers I go through)
Ich wüer grû’n bis der Bitterend (I’ll grub ‘till the bitter end)
Blüedt tropt wi Tränr mein Wänge (Blood drips like tears from my cheeks)

A very bright silver/white light was turned on exactly behind Levi, it didn't really look as if Levi was shining, but it was the best way to describe it anyway. It looked really great, and added the finishing touch to the performance. Levi's voice became more powerful with every line he sang, and the crowd was obviously impressed by the magic of the song and Levi's introvert performance of it, even though the song wasn't really the favourite of the younger fans.

Verwüerpf (Discard)
Aller überflusschnich Grüe (All superfluous ground)
Bis ich beim fürigch Küer ben (Until I’m at the fiery core)
Wältzte mir flüat (Oh, flatten me)

The 'chorus' started, although it could hardly be called a refrain: it didn't repeat itself. The bright lights were all over the background screen now, almost blinding now, and it looked absolutely wonderful. A small cheer erupted from the crowd: the small change in background music gave some people goosebumps. Levi Schäffer was singing the song with so much passion for it, it was as if he was melting together with the song and the feelings that belonged to it.

Ich wüell abgegrüesscht sehen (I want to be torn)
Ich wüell der Bitterwäorn prüeh’n (I want to taste the bitter truth)
Erinnringe krieg’n (Memories wage war)
Erinnringe krieg’n (Memories wage war)
Ich drää mein Äug nachbinn (I turn my eyes inside)
Ich drää mein Äug nachbinn (I turn my eyes inside)

Levi had not smiled so far, and had not looked into the cameras a single time. He obviously thought that was not important at all: the song and the passion he was putting into his singing was important and that's all. The refrain just continued, and it would continue until the end of the song. This was why the bright lights were not turned off and why they kept on shining their light on Levi. The 'Und ich hypnöhsier's were all pre-recorded, Levi just sang 'Mürselb' a few times.

Ich wüell das der Mëtüere fäoll’n (I want the meteors to fall
Ich wüsch vûr ein Mannejägd (A man-hunt I’m wishing for)
Und ich hypnöhsier, und ich hypnöhsier (And I hypnotize)
Mürselb (Myself)
Und ich hypnöhsier, und ich hypnöhsier (And I hypnotize)
Mürselb (Myself)
Und ich hypnöhsier, und ich hypnöhsier, und ich hypnöhsier, und ich hypnöhsier (And I hypnotize)

The music became more beautiful than ever, for the last part of the song. People shouted and screamed out of enthousiasm, but Levi Schäffer's voice stayed as stable as always. The lights on the background started moving a bit, as if they were floating through the air, it looked beautiful once again. Levi was a little bit less introvert this time, looking into the camera for the first time ever.

Süelchnent zufr Häod (Sailing into Hades)
Giebnent Charon älespul (Giving Charon all I have)
Vrüagnent Spër züe sa’n, was laös gewe’n (Asking wraiths to tell, what’s been going on)
Ich hypnöshier mürselb (I hypnotize myself)
Ich hypnöshier mürselb (I hypnotize myself)

That was it, the performance of "Hypnöhser" was over. Levi put his hands in the air, and waved a bit to the crowd, a bit uncomfortably, and then left the stage quickly.

Euskal Commentary, Part 1: From the pre-opening, until the end of song 02.

Image
Commentary by Armán Vonok
Translated into English from Euskal, for the foreign audience

Images of an EUSK1 helicopter flying across Shatilaurchev's sky are shown. As Armán speaks, the audience is able to watch several landmarks of the city, as well as its famous skyline. The helicopter then stops above Yosef Ben-Or Arena.

Well, well, hello everyone! Here it's Armán Vonok broadcasting from Shatilaurchev... *coughs* Well, that's Hebrew, ladies and gentlemen, wrecking my throat since I got here. But going back on topic, here we are in Kishrael, a country you could call 'newbie' in the Worldvision scene. However, our Orbian fellow nation is quite experienced in hosting, and we should be glad for being here instead of other... less desirable places. The arena is Yosef Ben-Or, and it is one of the smallest venues we've ever had. However, my main concern is the stage. A small arena doesn't necessarily mean a small stage, but here they did that. The arena can hold 7500 spectators and it is the usual venue for "A Song for Kishrael", this country's national final.

Shatilaurchev is a city populated by 2 million people, and was founded in the 18th Century BC as 'Even Levan Ha'Metzodah'; can you imagine that? Euskals were still in Bilbauski Island by that time. Anyway, the city boasts a nice cultural variety; and despite the fact Kishrael is the multiverse's bastion of Judaism; you can still breathe a freedom-of-religion air outside Haredi neighborhoods. Unlike past editions, we're gathered on Thursdays, because Shabbat is obviously observed here. The Euskal district of the city, however, is an interesting place that reminds me of home.

The broadcast now switches to an image of the dark stage, and superimposed to that, the logo of the contest. In the background, we can hear the official theme tune.

And that's the logo you can see on your screens. The theme for this edition is "Light The Way (Through Music)", which symbolizes, and I quote from the official programme... "the power that music has on people's lives and on people's minds". Music is a common referent for every emotion, moment or event, and Kishrael wants to celebrate that. I quote again one of my favourite lines... "WorldVision has had many songs which have inspired us, made us laugh, made us cry, and even cringe, but each and every person has found a new open door because of it". The logo is basically a minimalistic menorah, symbol of celebration and light, with Hebrew-stylized letters.

The stage is diamond-shaped with two LCD screens behind it. And as I said before, it is quite small. There's also a somewhat hidden screen in the central platform of the stage that can be raised, though I did not see it rising in most dress rehearsal performances. There's an orchestra pit in the gaps between the stairs, and as usual, LED lights can be used in both floors and back panels. The stage is in three levels; and for the first time, there's a free open way in the front to go on and interact with the audience.

Up next, to open the show is Daria Shulamit's song "Horah", which in fact, is a revamped version of our song "Danses dell Aurero", by the popular Euskal artist Haritz.

The opening act starts with 60 dancers entering the stage. Shortly afterwards, Daria Shulamit performs "Horah", followed by Anna Petravona's "Love Is Not A Game". Then, the screen showing families from several countries. Finally, Mia Awachu and Shmu'el Haddad appear as the hosts of the evening and start talking.

And how did they get 60 dancers on such a tiny stage for 'Horah'? We'll never know. Well, that was Anna Petravona up there as well; and families from all the participating countries. As a random curious fact, there's no Euskirribakondaran or Artsakhiani family featured up there; just a Valdaranean one, you know, 'cause we signed up a bit late after a lot of things. But well, there in the screen you can see Mia Awachu and Shmu'el Haddad, a TV presenter and a reality show wonder, respectively.

The screen shows a table with the participating countries and a performance number on their side. Below that, the instructions on how to vote from Euskirribakondara; and the hosts kept talking, as well as Armán.

As usual, 50% of our votes will be decided by jury voting, a panel that this time is integrated by Harrika Dago I, Samira Kareli, Sopho Gelovadze, Irina Arshakyan, Safir Ibn Mudram, Kahule Mwangi, Alluaq and my very own self. We voted yesterday in the last dress rehearsal; but the other 50% is your responsability. Follow the on-screen instructions for SMS voting, televoting, twitter voting or web voting. But remember, you cannot vote for Euskirribakondara. And now.. Let's hear what we've all been waiting for....

Mia: LET THE 26TH WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST COMMENCE!

01. KOMUNISTO-KINTOPIA - QUINTÒPIA COMUNISTA
The postcard for Communist Quinntopia is shown as Armán speaks about the next entry.
And again, another thing that is different from previous editions. Lymantatia is not the first entry. Instead we have past hosts, Communist Quinntopia, represented by Nicholas Emantrar and Katerina Smith. They're hoping to surpass this country's best placing, which is 5th. Their song "You Can't Stop Our Love", is your typical duet ballad sung in English; but their performance is rather original, and their chemistry is somewhat attractive. Enjoy!

The entry is performed. A new feature in EUSK1's broadcast is that after the song, a percentage appears on the bottom part of the screen. This percentage shows the "liking" by the Euskal audience. And on the side, two featured tweets from the audience. After that, Armán speaks again.

70,62%
@MasterJohnny96: I thought the lyrics were beautiful until they messed up with "yes we're going to Paris and London" #cheesy
@Mishka52: Praise be to the composer of this tune. It's majestic! #euswv26

I don't know if I should tell this, but in the jury panel, we have faith in this song. It's simple yet beautiful, specially musically speaking. Lyrically, it is nice, but it loses something in the final stranza with "Yes, we're going to Paris, Yes, we're going to London". It kind of kills the magic. The voices fit each other perfectly, and it definitely was classy. This time, I'll abstain from predicting something for the final outcome, as we have over 40 participating countries. But I should say this will enter the top 15 in Euskal voting.

02. LÚZIKA - LÙZIQA
The postcard for Luzyica is shown as Armán speaks about the next entry.
Number two is Luzyica, a country that despite being famous for being overly conservative, is infamous for sending extremely outrageous entries to WorldVision. Due to Euskal law, we cannot broadcast this entry directly on public television. If you want to see it, go to our website eusk1.com. Meanwhile, we'll go for commercials here until the end of the song, four minutes from now.

After four minutes of advertisements, the broadcast switches back to several shots of Yosef Ben-Or Arena, and then shows the liking percentage and featured tweets.

05,44%
@WhyAmIHere: All I can say after that is... #Luzyica Kiss MY Ass for such a horrible song.
@EmongoBongo: I wasted my time watching that on the website. It wasn't even kinky horny. #epicfail

39. Grittonia
JeaRell & Pappa Nick P.
Don't try to steal my slurry

(Based on: Don't try to steal my limelight - Happy Hoes

As the Grittonian entry entered the stage, every light in the arena was dimmed to such an extent that no one could see anything. While most people found this strange, the Grittonians in the arena knew that this was the short amount of time when the special Gypsy engineers, that every Grittonian entry brought with them, arranged everything for the coming act to run smoothly.

Thanks to night-vision goggles, both the engineers and the Grittonian entry, could see where they needed to go. Eventually, when the work was done, which took about a couple of seconds more than the entry needed to take their places, the lights turned on. The entry, consisting of worldwide superstar Pappa Nick P. and the front-man of tWINk and vocalist Jearenalls Larell, which had gained substantial fame within the Grittophile Block for his classical Grittonian voice, meaning that it embodied everything decadent and fun in life, did some last-second checks on their equipment before giving the sign for the music to begin. While the music started, nobody could see where it came from until the first Transvestite Cavalry member came in riding on a burly college kid. While the Transvestite Cavalry, the elite troops of Grittonia, normally rode horses, they didn't find that horses would be fitting to the event. Six college-kid riding Transvestite Cavalry members followed the first member, all having a gold-and-diamond encrusted Valaci, the Grittonian instrument of choice, with them. When all were on stage, the vocals started.

Don't try to steal my slurry,
This is your Pappa, [Champagne bottles are seen and heard popping, being depicted on the LCD-screens]
Spanking JeaRell, [Popping of bottles continues]
JeaRell [Popping stops]

The entire stage is turned into disco overload with the LCD-screens and various lights working together. While the Transvestite Cavalry members formed behind Pappa and JeaRell, Pappa wearing a modified one-piece leather suit, colored in tasteful gold, with a enormous bulge in it while JeaRell kept it 'real' with a modified version of the Royal Guard uniform in a delightful silver and gold pattern, the college boys found themselves in the front of the stage, dancing to the music.

Goin' down tonight, [Pappa and JeaRell do some dancing moves while the Transvestite Cavalry strap their Valaci's to their chest, allowing them to do some light acrobatics]
To my favorite guy,
Feel my jummy stuff,
You can't get enough

You wanna be on me,
But sweety lemme see,
You're not even second-best,
Try to come and have the test

You can bathe in all my horny,
But you,
Will always be a swine,
I'm sorry
[Pappa and JeaRell end their dancing moves with the T.C.'s regaining control over their Valaci's, which had continued playing during the acrobatics]

With the chorus coming up, Pappa and JeaRell took up an act in which Pappa would run away from JeaRell, who acted as the 'bad guy' in this case, towards the front of the stage before using inflated hand gestures to show that he was indeed 'too far' for JeaRell, that there would be a possibility of his porn flicks showing up anywhere (while the college kids fired off gift cannons containing said porn flicks) and that his ass was indeed hairless.

Don't try to steal my slurry, (Oeh wooho)
You know,
I'll never give manflurry,
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Can't you see that I'm too far?
Do you see my porn flicks anywhere?
My ass is clean without a hair,
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Don't try to steal my flurry,

With the chorus ending, Pappa closed in on JeaRell, who walked a couple of steps back as part of the act. Now, it was time for Pappa to be the bad guy, doing the next part of the song by himself, vocal-wise. While Pappa began singing, JeaRell took his suit off, by tearing it from the Velcro strips holding it together, and chucked it on the ground after which two college kids took the halves and threw them into the crowd. Under his suit, he wore a tight speedo in the same golden color as Pappa's suit.

Why don't you go and hide, [Sausages are shown on the LCD screens]
Shave your tiny might, [Jearell lowered some of his speedo to show that he didn't need said shave]
You haven't got the grow,
That I wants through me
[JeaRell at this point bends over to Pappa, showing that he doesn't really mind either way]

Why bother to compare?
All you'll do is stare,
I'm massive and you're plain,
(I can't complain!)
So you can't see(I'll just watch one of those porn flicks!)

At this point, a lightweight replica of a bathtub falls from the ceiling onto the stage with JeaRell jumping into it. The college kids stand around the tub looking like a bunch of 12-year old looking at their first set of breasts before Pappa comes and takes the lead, standing in the center.

You can bathe in all my horny, [At this point, Pappa zips his suit open to reveal a massive penis and similar pair of balls before squeezing in said balls, showering JeaRell in a white fluid.]
But you,
Will always be a swine,
I'm sorry

The same routine as with the previous chorus follows with the only exceptions being that the bathtub was being hauled up again, that there were CD's being shot out of gift cannons and that Pappa gestured towards his voice instead of his ass.

Don't try to steal my slurry, (Oeh wooho)
You know,
I'll never give manflurry,
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Can't you see that I'm too far?
Do you see my cee-dees anywhere?
My voice is full of sex and flair,
[While chorus was on, the Transvestite Cavalry ran forward due to a massive silver-colored menorah filled with 7 massive golden-colored phallus' being lowered]
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Don't try to steal my flurry,

The college kids all take a phallus and jump onto it, slowly sliding off with their hands 'jerking' the phallus' in perfect synchronization with the song.

You know you want to be buried in a stream,
Stop showing off a frown,
My piss will be your crown,
[Crowns made of fluid are shown on the LCD screens while the crowd gets a shower of fake piss]

After draining them completely, the college kids leave the phallus' alone and continue with their dancing routine while Pappa and JeaRell made themselves for the last part of the song.

Cause we're the hottest guys you ever seen,
Pappa, I'd love to see you fappa,
[Pappa pulls his suit off, revealing the same speedo as JeaRell but in silver while the LCD screens show a hand spanking a monkey]

As before, the same routine happens with autographed pieces of Pappa Nick P. Undies being flung into the crowd and Pappa aiming at his crotch.

Don't try to steal my slurry, (Tryin' to steal it)
You know,
I'll never give manflurry,
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Can't you see that I'm too far?
Do you see my underwear anywhere?
My crotch is clean without a hair,
Don't try to steal my slurry, (Don't try to steal it)
Don't try to steal my flurry,

For the last chorus, the sides were switched with Pappa taking the 'bad guy' position and tWINk merchandise being flung into the crowd while JeaRell aimed at his ass.

Don't try to steal my slurry, (Tryin' to steal my flurry)
You know,
I'll never give manflurry,
Don't try to steal my slurry,
Can't you see that I'm too far?
Do you see my merch'dise anywhere?
My ass is clean without a hair,[/u] [An ass is lowered somewhat, floating between the stage and the ceiling]
Don't try to steal my slurry, (Don't try to steal it)
Don't try to steal my flurry,

With the song ending, the floating ass is fired off, revealing a massive fireworks display emanating from it's hole. While firing off the fireworks display, the ass is sent into a twirling state, barely missing a couple of Transvestite Cavalry members who continue playing without giving a twitch until the fireworks are done. When said fireworks were done, Pappa and JeaRell walked forward and ended this act with a Grittonian goodbye.

Dur Hunka WorldVision! Lots of love from Grittonia! Grittonia number one!
