Given how many have run away so far, and the repeated testimonies of the abuse that is going on within that family I'm far more interested in why American Social Services have not removed the children from this cult and put them into care. Its obvious that child abuse is going on in that family.

That was rather touching, and I feel sorry for her experiences in that family as well as the experiences of all the others. I'm glad she was able to escape and has begun living a less hateful life.

From what I've read, it sure seems to be a rather liberating experience for her.

It's because it would very likely become a political nightmare to target such a political entity for what many would consider ridiculous charges.
People are stupidly cynical about child abuse. If there's reasonable suspicion and the children get removed but it turned out to be incorrect, then child protection agencies get hell. If they don't act soon enough (placing themselves at risk for being incorrect), they get hell.
