Lancov has recently re-emerged onto the world stage, and we are inviting nations to found embassies on our soil, in the interest of promoting peace and friendship between our governments and peoples.

We have declared the long street in the center of Ramonosd, the capital, Embassy Way. At the end of Embassy Way lies the Foreign Secretariat, General Secretariat, Parliament, and many other government offices. At the opposite end from Parliament lies a military airfield which is used for all diplomatic flights.

Though the security of your ambassador is of the utmost importance to me, I am afraid that we are unable to divert Police or Gendarmes to protect foreign embassies 24/7. However, the Federal Police and Ramonosd Constabulary maintain constant foot and vehicle patrols up and down Embassy Way, and have a very fast response time in that area. As with the other embassies, your staff will be given a hotline to police dispatch.

There is of course absolutely nothing preventing you from contracting with a private security firm for your protection detail. I can refer you to local agencies if this is acceptable.

The security arrangements you have proposed seem satisfactory. My husband and I intend to leave for Ramonosd by the end of the week. As a measure of goodwill and confidence-building, I have been granted permission by the Artigas Airport Authority and Aerolineas Platineas to negotiate weekly scheduled passenger and cargo service between Ramonosd and Montevideo. Is there a commercial airport in Ramonosd? What airliners can you handle?

Furthermore, Minister O'Reilly has told me that his office has yet to hear from you with regards to establishing an embassy of your own in Montevideo. We strongly encourage that you set up such an embassy.

The Honorable O'Reilly will find that the necessary arrangements for an embassy in Montevideo have now been made. There are two commercial airports in Ramonosd, Ramonosd International and Petrov Central, with 10 and 7 terminals respectively. They can handle all standard sized airliners.

OOC: I imagine Ramonosd to have an architecure and general 'look' similar to Budapest, Hungary, even though Lancov's culture and people are modeled after Slavic nations. (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia etc.) Crime is low, like most of Lancov, but the drivers in some areas can get a little crazy. The people are hard working and friendly, and welcoming of foreigners. Many of them are politically active, and very religious, but tolerant, open minded and educated. There is an efficient bus and subway transportation system, and several stations for Lancov's national maglev trains. Unlike the United States, my personal home country, people actually [i]use the public transportation. The population is 11 million, and the average temperature is 65 fahrenheit in the summer, dropping to an average of 54 in the winter. Hope that helps you visualize.

Trescott- We will agree to negotiating a trade agreement. We allow pretty much unrestricted entry for tourism and business, but people entering the country will still have to submit to the usual customs and security inspection. Lancov is in the middle of a cold war, after all. Embassy Way is only one street over from a business district, that has many fine shops including bakeries that sell freshly baked pie. You are welcome to partake of any of these stores. I am particulary fond of People's Pies, a family owned Communist bakery. I am aware of the contradiction. The fountain and garden have been constructed.

Churchilland- Please extend my congratulations to the honorable Ambassador and his wife on their coming bundle of joy! I had their quarters in the Embassy baby-proofed. State Hospital Ramonosd, a 372 bed government hospital only five blocks away, has been alerted to the coming delivery. An obstetrician that works from the hospital will be contacting the family soon after they arrive. There are several parks along Embassy Way- be advised that they are open to the public. We will definitely be willing to open trade talks.

My apologies, Mrs. Harris, but it appears that your application had fallen under my desk and was only discovered this morning by the cleaning crew! I shudder to think that they had not cleaned under my desk before now, but at least we have received your application. Rest assured we were not purposely ignoring the great nation of Tutlingburg's request.

A site for your hydrogen fuel cells has been added to the Embassy. It was built and donated by Boris Shaaknell University, and inspected several times for safety. Using hydrogen as fuel is new to Lancov, but we have strong hopes for it.

State Hospital Ramonosd has been alerted of the latex allergy and would like information regarding any epipens the sufferer uses, so they may keep one on hand for emergencies.

Unfortunately we cannot allow T.A.R 21 assault rifles anywhere in the Embassy, though we do appreciate that they were going to be locked up. Handguns and submachine guns are the only firearms we can accept. My apologies.
