These free trade platforms are for the purpose of aiding international trade and reducing the costs of shipping for our trade partners and a cheaper way for nation to afford the many varied products our Confederated States provide.

Any nation that would like to have a trade platform please contact or Minister of trade and commerce. Kelly Caribe. We have 6 built (edited 3/29/10) 4 deployed and 2 more in the shipyard nearing refit completion and 4 others slated to begin construction.

These platforms are purely for trade and have no offensive capabilities but they are defended from acts of aggression and piracy with defensive equipment for direct use against missiles and hostile aircraft. These consist of either three or four NATO RIM-7 Sea Sparrow missile launchers, designed for defense against aircraft and anti-ship missiles as well as either three or four 20 mm Phalanx CIWS missile defense cannons.And a C.R.C. marine detachment of 500 soldiers for repelling raiders and maintaining the peace for visitors aboard our platform as well as highly trained Search and Rescue and Medical Staff.

Amenities our platform offers for visitors besides the trading areas is Casinos and Clubs for sailors and visitors to visit while aboard or on leave from a nearby vessel. These platforms are rather large roughly the size of the city of Old San Juan, PR and can accommodate several thousand visitors at a time.

We also have hotels and live entertainment shows of the adult variety for the lonely sailors that may visit us. Alcoholic beverages are permitted but drunkenness is to be attempted at your own risk as we do not tolerate disruptive behavior. And person that causes problems will be placed in a detention cell until their vessels crew is ready to depart and take the offender from custody.

Our platform also offers full service dock repairs for vessels and our repair wing can even dry dock a vessel the size of a navy cruiser for full hull repairs.

We have several landing pads for VTOL aircraft and a marine search and rescue copter and team on board as well as marine medical staff and a small but complete hospital to tend to any and all ailments or able to stabilize patients for transport to hospital of their choice.

ATLAS: FLOATING FACILITY FOR OFFSHORE FISH FARMING



Ever-expanding capacities of fish farms, which need to be competitive on the world scale, has a need of large coastal areas which are also been claimed by the tourism activities and has a trend to exceed the natural balance of the areas if the number of fish per area exceeds a given number. Therefore, a need to carry fish farms to open seas has been a mandatory measure in order to leave the touristically valuable coastline to touristical facilities. A group of researchers from a local farming company (AquaTech), in close cooperation with the Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology of the Aleksasha Caribe Hernadez University of the Raul Caribe Capital City District, have developed a floating platform of semi-submersible type for being used at the offshore fish farms. The name of ATLAS, which refers the concept as carrying the World on the dorsal side, is given to the facility during the investigation and foundation process.

Type Semi-submersible platform
(The platform is fixed to bottom of the sea. This type is very common for drilling and production of the petroleum in open seas. For very deep offshore applications this platform with stable foot or base is not suitable. Therefore, the area of the waterline of the platform is reduced for rough sea conditions.)

Main construction Steel construction.
(The geometry of the platform is formed by hydromechanics studies. The material of steel is selected because of it is a strong material according to the exposed loads (wave, wind, flow, strike of the sheep and/or cage). Selection of the steel is constructive for balance of the platform, although reaching the heavy platform.)

Deck coating Plastic flooring with glass enforcement.
Over the deck and feed silos Strong plastic material for environmental corrosive factors. Deck area 256 m2 or more. Living area Minimum 80 m2 (Accommodation area minimum 36 m2).

Feed silos 90 tone or more.

These limitations are changeable according to the demand and fish capacity.
Systematic of ATLAS
Atlas, is the facility with steel construction. Operation of the facility with its systems is shown the scheme below.

Balance automation system
This system regulates the horizontal balance of the platform depending on changeable weight of the feed silos with filling and feeding or additional loads. The height of the platform according to sea level is regulated depending on the weather forecast. The system obtains balance of the system during the day.

Technological living area
Living, monitoring and supervision area is the major functional property of the platform. This area contains the living area for minimum 3 people, food and water, feeding pumps, balance pump, one diesel generator for the pumps and its fuel, solar and wind energy systems for 24 hour/7 day living, wharf, radio-set, radar, diving equipments for maintenance of the cages The accommodation area is considered as to meet for all daily requirements of the staff but according to the demands its design and dimension are changeable. The extra equipment can be added to increase efficiency, motivation and morale of the workers, who are living in the open seas.

Energy system
Energy requirements of the platform are provided by hybrid energy system with solar and wind energy. The generator system (with standby) is used to meet electricity consumption of automatic feeding systems, pumps, etc. The generators can store energy for the equipment of the staff, illumination and computer systems during the 24 hours by hybrid system. Therefore, energy saving is in the maximum level.

Aquaculture Risk Management
In Atlas the system the system is designed too collect and orientate the data. All necessary information, such as FCR, SGR, CF and biomass from entering the farm until the reaping stage for the manager of the fish farming are pursued. Feed flows of the feed silos are controlled and pursuing of the feed order gets easy by the help of Robotics.

Automatic Feeding System
The robotic system transfers the feeds, which has convenient amount and type according to the cages, from the feed silos to the cages. The system is in collaboration with operorators and the proper feeding is obtained in this way. By the help of improving of the system, feeding can be possible even for the stormy weather, with a minimal staff.

I am sorry that our nation has offended you but we have NOT invaded your nation nor have we made any threats to ever do so. Maybe in your country a gas station can not open up across the street from another but our trade platform is not in your nation. Using your name as a point of reference can not be disallowed since you are on the same world as I.
If you are at all displeased with our choice of locations im sure if properly compensated my father Raul Caribe will approve the relocation of the platform in question after another suitable location is found. But until that time comes we are open for business.

Nothing or no won is ever truly secured. It is well known that if a person is willing to give up their life to achieve a goal they can not be stopped, or the forces of a nation that are bent on conquest and destruction if large enough can make trouble as well. If a hostile nation attacks we will of course defend ourselves. But we are not here to do harm only aid other Nations and make a profit for our Nation. So ensure security to a degree yes and also no.

I am sure most nations will see the benefits of such an enterprise can offer their nation and others in the area of trade and as more nations invest in store fronts within the platform or partake in the various amenities we offer and only we can provide. The combined might of all nations that have a stake or interest in the platforms would be enough of a deterrent to prevent hostile actions.

As for the location I was in the same region as you before. Now the new region is just north of the Anti World Assembly so we are still neighbors . putting a free trade platform next to my own country would be pointless. I had to put it someplace other than my own to be of any use.
