As far as we're aware, the "United States" has become fragmented into dozens of small nations. We have few significant relations with any of them. The western part of Fatatatutti is sparsely populated because typhoons tend to come from that direction. There are no media outlets situated there.

The Socialist Republic of Andrew nation is located in the far east, and are not huge fans of western media, in fact, we have a closed borders policy to most of the world.
So western media in the SRA is mostly banned with a few exceptions, due to we still like some western music, like country and rock, etc, but anything else that isn't music is banned from the SRA, especially any western government and news channels, or any commercials that criticizes or insults our leader, nation, government, military, or anything else that may influence our people to get into bad habits.

For example, hollywood films tend to undergo checking by the National Media Administration, any hollywood films that are of questionable nature such as the intended/unintended promotion of white supremacy (such as the usage of racial stereotypes and white-savior narratives) are thrown into the dumpster bin. Meanwhile, western corporate news outlets are also supervised due to their nature of corporate-bias and fake news.
