And NO, everyone... once again... we are NOT taking over crippled countries. This "invasion" is not a means to kill off earth or her population, or to gain territories.

Bran, I wouldn't worry about my invasion. You grabbed a lot of land and the BranRiech is huge now. You now have to worry about rebuilding that massive country of yours. The Drones have probably destroyed your bread baskets and all the cities and infrastructure that belonged to those former nations. You'll probably have cultists knocking at your door and advising to you that those people in those former nations are in civil unrest.

People blame their government after disasters happen. The former nations' peoples will still have the same mindset that they had before you conquered them. Not enough time has passed to indoctrinate them into your nation's way of thinking, theoretically.

So those of us that run MT/PMT nations on earth face the consequences so we can't run our planned things?

People would be on my ass if we invaded after being crippled by a drone invasion.

Everyone is facing the consequences of the Drone invasion unless they don't have nations based on earth or in the solar system. (GT, NVE, NA, for example, are free from Drone incursion.)

What is it? How was it developed? What powers it? How are the components fabricated? What PMT tech supports its creation and design? A tech level is the nation's ability to understand, develop, reproduce and advance that tech level.

It's an intercontinental laser system (Chemical-laser, on a large scale), requires a pretty penny to fire too much, and it's still pretty experimental (There's only the one)

There's a much smaller version mounted on the bleeding edge fighter that's replacing our aging Su-15 fighter craft.

the event, Innovator Invasion, is basically the other 11 innovades showing up to eliminate Tieria and all of the apartment building to keep, "the organization's" secrets secret....permanently. basically involves super humans, and large gundam like robots.

I remember when they used to make one really good creature feature every couple of years like Spiders, the original lake placid, arachnid, and the like. now we get several cheap B movies a year like Arachnoquake, and tasmanian devil....ugh

That isn't PMT tech. Neither are Torii's orbital guns.

MT... that laser system, to include being able to fire and having the beam be directed by various craft in orbit. We're capable of doing that now in our current time.
PMT... that laser system's beam directed craft stationed in the solar system that reflect it so it maneuvers around Mars without degrading at all. We should be capable of doing this by 2025 if we work to develop the means. We currently don't have those advances yet as far as space craft deployment.
FT... that laser system being able to do all that with absolute accuracy and fire on targets that have just entered the Oort. The beam could even be generated on earth and "teleported" to a new location.
FFT... that laser system's pulse traveling a far distance from earth without physics affecting its path in any way. It curves around celestial bodies due to whatever things are in place to keep fueling it, etc.
